Their ox bone soup stands out among many Korean food! They also have self-serve soup/tea, service was good too.
I got the spicy pork stone pot, it was the best I have ever had. There were different layers of flavors in the pork, and also the portion was very generous.
Great Hidden Gem - Amazing Food and Service. I believe they are opening up a new spot in Irvine soon as well - Glad to see business is booming. Thanks always for a great meal!
Can only recc the cold noodle soup which is what it's popular for. Tokatsu and jajangmyeon were just okay but not something I'd order again. Cold noodle 11/10
I had reviewed this place before (5 stars then also) and wanted to add a few more comments. Continuing to be a great foodie place. Owners are succeeding in maintaining the high quality and service. My one suggestion is to try other menu items if you have your favorites that keep you coming to this place. I happened to try another munu item this past visit. Going forward, I will have a hard time choosing between the new item and my favorite. We'll just have to order many and share... I lament that I live too far to go more frequently. Good job owners!
Hole in the wall place. Don’t expect a 5 star service but the food is so good that it’s all worth it. The arrowroot cold noodles are the best!
Yes, the restaurant is a smaller than most and yet I LOVE coming here. The owners are there everyday which ensures the quality of food and service is exceptional and consistent. It's amazing to find their food with so many choices amazingly good. My favorites are the naengmyuns (cold noodles), and dolpans (hot plates).
Great fresh food and comes out fast. Authentic Korean dishes at good prices.
We went there twice in a row. Service was excellent and food was delicious as well. Owner checked table continuously to see if we need anything. We will be back and we are so happy to find out this fabulous Korean restaurant. It is like hidden treasure.
Delicious food. The chik naenmyeong was perfect on this hot day.
A delightful surprise. Based on the starts of 4.1 I was thinking it would be just ok. But man the food is so good. From the Banchan to the main dishes. Everything was wonderful. I don't understand how this place isn't a 4.8 at the least. Will definitely be coming back here soon.
I don’t know why but this place is my favorite Korean restaurant to go to these days. The food tastes perfectly authentic and they serve really fast!
가격대비 몇가지메뉴는 끝판왕!!! 친절하고 가격저렴하고 맛있고. 조미료냄새난다고누가 얘기하시던데… 집에서드세여 Yesterday I went to Wife and today I had a company dinner here. It wasn't fancy or expensive food, but it was delicious and we all ate until we were full. I praise the owner who gives the best sensible staff and food tasting service without hesitation. Korean snack bar style restaurant seen on TV. There are many types of food and the prices are cheaper than other restaurants. The food all tastes better than the basics. The inside of the restaurant is small and confusing, but the service was fast so I was impressed. This is Korean food that young people will enjoy. A restaurant where all the food is delicious, especially Chinese food, and it is more delicious and cheaper than a specialty restaurant. A restaurant where the food tastes even better because of the friendly and cheerful staff. The interior is narrow and a little uncomfortable, but the taste and service are top notch. I always intend to visit again
Food was very good we ordered the bulgogi, yukgaejang, and yukegaejang mandu. Each dish was delicious and came out hot, we even got an order of jajang myun on the house! Service was very good and they refilled the banchan’s the moment we finished them. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area, definitely will revisit when back in Buena Park! ❤️
Great spot for spicy cold noodles and black bean noodles
All Koreans know this is THE place for chik mul naengmyun. In fact it's one of my favorite restaurants in OC. I now live out of state and crave this all the time, so it's the first place I visit after landing at the airport! The service is always warm and attentive and I LOVE the self-serve yooksoo (broth) and hot tea station. The other classic Korean dishes here are delicious and it's always pretty busy!
I love it here. Foods great no thrills frills just good food and big portions ! Older koreans seems to love this place. Water option to get tea. Yummy. Jeyuk spicey pork w perilla leaves so 😋 The yukgaejang spicey beef stew was good and comes w rice. Cold noodles seemed popular and it was really good too. Lady was so kind. I would go back. The banchan side dishes also superb. Easy to park outside. Clean bathrooms too. I like that they dont give u those weak plastic utensils when im trying to eat a hearty korean stew too. Came back again. Loved it. Got the stone bowls. And also the sundae stew. Wow delicious.
Very delicious food for great prices! Good service and clean environment, really recommend trying them out. (kimchi and cold noodles were especially excellent)
Never disappoints! My only-Go Korean restaurant lately. So far every dish I order turned out to be amazing!
Very very friendly owner and family, good food and good service. I can feel mother's food here. Very, strongly recomendable, you better visit here
I ordered jokbal, mul-naengmyeon, bibim-naengmyeon, and nokdujeon. The overall food quality was good enough to recommend visiting.

It’s been over six months since my visit, so I’m not sure how things are nowadays, but personally, I recommend the naengmyeon and tangsuyuk.
Yoo's Place stands out as the ultimate destination for Korean cuisine enthusiasts. With a wide array of Korean dishes on offer, one might worry that the quality could be compromised, but Yoo's Place defies expectations. Every dish I ordered was a culinary delight, bursting with authentic flavors and made with care. It's a testament to the dedication of the chefs and the commitment to excellence in every aspect of the dining experience. The recent opening of a branch in Irvine only adds to the accessibility of Yoo's Place, making it even easier for food lovers to indulge in the exquisite flavors of Korean cuisine. If you're craving Korean food or looking to explore the rich and diverse flavors of this cuisine, look no further than Yoo's Place. It's a culinary experience not to be missed.
We had a wonderful first experience❤️ Cozy restaurant. The waitress was helpful and nice when we asked for recommendations. I ordered CHIC BIBIM NAENGMYUN it was so refreshing & DELICIOUS! My friend ordered YUKGAEJANG and she also LOVED her dish. Definitely going back there soon!

I've been craving nengmyen or korean cold noodle for some time now. The weather's been hot lately and it's the perfect time to enjoy cold noodle. I started my quest from Irvine. There's nothing there. Then I expand my search to garden grove. Morangkak is decent, not great, and always the long wait. I expand my radius even further and yelped around buena park, since more Koreans live there, and lead to this Yoo's place. I got their raw fish cold noodle or hye nengmyen. It got that nice floating ice with all that spicy and sour goodness of sauce all over. They even offer to add this cold broth. The noodle was just the right texture and broth was refreshing. I finally found the place for my cold noodle fix around OC.
Glad that Yoo's Kitchen is in La Habra. I don't have to go to downtown L.A anymore. Food was delicious and the serving portions awesome! I highly recommend Yoo's Kitchen.
This place is famous for Korean Cold Noodle. Especially the Jok Bal(pork feet) combo is really delicious. From Korean Chinese to common homemade menu, you can taste variety of Korean food in this restaurant and that's a big plus. Also, owner's attitude may be little grumpy sometime but really thinks about customer's satisfaction. (the owner really cares about the customer, so don't get it wrong!)
A staple place for Korean cold noodles! The broth flavor is consistent, flavorful and clean. You can also get up to fill your own cups of hot tea or hot broth near the back. We also got the hot stone bibimbap which was solid and had a variety of mountain veggies (fiddlehead fern, gobo). It's a tiny shop and always packed, so they fit you in wherever they can, which might be right by the door. The servers are nice and efficient. I like the acorn jelly side dish the most.

They have better cold noodles than most, and the place is very clean. The side dishes are pretty good too. We had brown noodles and fried calamari. Noodles were bland and had hardly any meat. Calamari used to be better, but this time, it was over cooked and the meat was dry and tough. The water cold noodles and the spicy cold noodles were good as usual. The service is always mediocre at best.
The food and service here was great! The appetizers were also very good. My wife got the cold noodle soup and I got the hamburger steak. The cold noodle soup had a great flavor, definitely recommend getting. The hamburger steak was also very good, it had a fried egg and demi glace sauce on top with rice. The server was also very nice.

This place has dropped down a couple of stars since I last visited. Food was bland and had sooooo much MSG/Salt (but portions were generous) and expensive! Service was rude, unhelpful and controlling (chastised me for using the little bowl for the bone broth; I was forced to use a little cup). Seating was cramped, very noisy (w\o tv, radio... Just people and fans), and 78degrees (a little too warm for me) but the place seemed clean, table items were well stocked.
I don't know how to star this place cuz their food is good, yet they reuse "untouched" side dishes. If a served side dish looks untouched by a customer, then one of the female workers takes it away bf cleaning the table, n brings it out to a different customer(s) later. She did it so blatantly that I couldn't help, but see the whole thing unfold. I suggest ppl eat just their ordered food, not the side dishes. To the store, I suggest its servers ask customers which side dishes they would like to eat instead of bringing all out n taking them back for later use.
I actually was going to another restaurant but went here. Maybe I should gone to where I was going in first place in same shopping mall. Went there around 2pm and only 1 table was occupied. I was going to order 1 item and Lady told me that does not taste good and I should order different one. So I did and it was not bad but does not deserve 2nd time order. There was no serve... It was pretty much self service and self service. Price was not cheap but not really expensive.
I really wanted to like this place, but my experience was disappointing. The service was rough. There were only two servers running the entire restaurant, and while they did apologize a couple of times, the service was very inattentive. I had to flag them down for basic things like spoons, cups, water, and extra plates. I get that the restaurant is busy and popular, but it still made the meal feel frustrating. The food didn’t make up for it either. Most of the dishes were bland yet loaded with MSG. The kimchi was especially off — way too sweet, almost like it had more sugar than spice. It lacked the tangy, fermented flavor I expected. Overall, between the inattentive service and the disappointing food, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
It’s a nice little place, and offers a quiet escape from some of the more crowded and overstimulating korean restaurants around the area. They serve a variety of basic korean foods, and it doesn’t seem like the specialize in anything. I would have loved to say the food here is great, but i can’t say it’s the case. It’s often pretty hit or miss with what you get. Some dishes i get are good, some mediocre, and some just bad. I wish they had better food, because then i would gladly give them 5 stars.

Got there kind of late, so they were rushing me and giving me attitude. I understand trying to order something last minute but being courteous to your patrons doesn't cost a thing. This was a pickup to go not a dine-in service.

When the Card machine doesn't work, they don't make the customer understand. What they said it's not their fault but customer was upset because forcing to pay cash only. They talking bad word behind customer even though there are other customers inside of restaurant.
Serving person and cook did not wear mask. They said they got vaccine. Still wearing mask is recommended as far as I know.. we walked out without eating
⸻ “They use way too much MSG, and the food tastes terrible for the price. The service is also bad. It feels like they only care about raising prices and don’t care at all about taste or service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.”
My experience with Yoo's was very disappointing. We ordered delivery the other night -two suhlung tang and octopus tempura. The suhlung tang arrived with green onions and salt already in the broth. It's as if they took leftover soup from other customers and dumped it in the togo containers. The noodles smelled of rags, it was disgusting, and the tempura was missing dipping sauce. Never put green onions and salt into the broth and send it on its delivery. Not only do individuals have various pref when it comes to green onion and salt portions but it also keeps the soup fresh. It's safe to say the food was not eatable. I will never order from here again esp since there are so many other options to choose from in the surrounding areas.
Bad customer service. Ordered a pork cutlet and it was too hard to eat and it was super dark brown (overcooked). I told the lady and she said "it's normal". Never visit again.
I don't know why this restaurant got 4stars now, but I had bad experience here. My wife called this place whether we can make a reservation by phone, and they said nope and then hang off the phone call. I should have just stopped at that moment but then I went there with my wife and baby anyway, and the short cut woman who seemed owner of that place said there's no highchair available at that moment, so I said it's okay but then one of the employee brought me the highchair in the storage, and it seems like that was the only one in the restaurnat. be aware of this if you want to visit this place with baby. don't recommend it anyway.
"Watch out for the double TIP", 18% tip is automatically included in your bill and they will ask for more tip when your signing your receipt. Food is good, but the double TIP scheme is a no go.
I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. I was sitting right next to the register and i think the owner is the lady with the short hair, she was touching the salad right after touching money, her customer service is so bad, she is so rude to customers, and this place is so filthy!!! All the food has too much sugar. I won't ever come back to this place, bad service, bad food, bad experience, worse Korean restaurant ever!!!!!
They HAD to give me the table right in front of the door when all other tables were available. We asked multiple times to get resitted. They said no. I had a stroller. No highchair offered. Had to put my babs stroller in the tiny space between the door and table where the fire extringer was. I was literally blocking the entrance door. I was hit everytime people come in and out. My baby were bored in the stroller. When I sit her on my laps, it was just not safe for the baby. I had to leave in the middle of eating. Never going back again.
Very disappointed by their service and food it was the worst dining experience I ever had. When we walked in we felt unwelcome by the servers. The entire time we were never served or given water. The server just dropped off our food at our table and in the whole time they never said a single word, even when giving the check. Worst than a robot serving a food. The food tasted like chemical that I had to spit it out. Never come here again.
Over priced, extremely rude and disrespectful service. Have reviewed on yelp and owner responds to all negative reviews (there’s a lot) with hostile responses. I guess that’s no surprise from someone that has so many 1 star reviews on their extremely rude, aggressive treatment of customers. I was seated with my daughter at a tiny table right next to the bathroom and shared a wall with the open concept kitchen (almost as disgusting as the owners behavior) before we were eventually refused service and asked to leave because we moved tables. And the food is bland with small portions, and ridiculously overpriced. You’re better off getting Korean at any of the countless respectable spots in the area. Owner at some point should see all the bad reviews about her behavior and develop some social skills or get therapy.
