When I first walked in I was was slapped in the face with the most heavenly smell of fresh garlic, olive oil, basil and wood burning. Immediately I knew this place was a gem of the town and was not going to be a disappointment. I am a hard food critic. I am a top chef myself and it takes a lot to impress me. I was greeted with friendly staff and had old world Italy vibes. The aroma alone took me to another place. Small menu, big flavor! Everything is top quality ingredients and you can deff taste thw difference. Worth a drive if you need to take it. Thin crust large slices, premium toppings. Service was fast and fresh. Delicious eclairs. Home made. They ran out of terimisu and made one for us fresh and we got to meet the owner who just so happend to come to our table to apologize about running out of terimisu and had an awesome attitude and customer service and was so greatful and pleased to hear we enjoyed our dinner there. We will deffinately be coming back and deffinately reccomend. White pizzas and homemade red sauce pizza were both delicious. 100/100 rating🤌👌🫦

It was so nice to see the owners (Felix and Rick) at the restaurant making customers feel welcome AND helping their awesome staff throughout our stay. Food is true for the Napoli Italy region which means there are no artificial additives including sugar. All the food we saw coming out looked great. Our Lasagna Pizza and Chicken Parm. were outstanding. Note that it is a different Italian then most of us are used to due to the elimination of sugar but it is so much better for you! Nice to see a high quality Italian eatery surviving and providing customers a little taste of Felix and Rick's family and culture!

Best pizza I have had hands down in my 18 years of living !!! . The chef was so nice and caring, he really connected with all his customers and made them feel welcome. Both of the pizza’s we had were amazing and left us wanting more. I promised I will come back soon and I will keep that promise. I highly recommend for everyone to try. This is a must stop for everyone who loves pizza. I thank the restaurant for being so welcoming and we will be back to try more pizza and play tennis with the chef.

Super delicious! Fresh salads with house dressing, great pizza thin crust red & white. House made éclair too. The service model is a little bit different and seating is benches or a few tables but everything is clean & staff friendly and helpful. Update; after another super early dinner visit I brought my family in weekend after Thanksgiving. Everything was equally great with a party of 7. The red sauce on pizza is simple and compliments the thin dough and fresh mozzarella. The house made cannoli was excellent too. December 2025, another great late lunch here. Just can't get any better than panzanella salad and a pizza Napoli for lunch!

After using slice to place my pickup order and upon arrival my pizzas were “lost”. Waited for two fresh new pizzas. Things were made right. Thank you. Anyways. The pizzas were fantastic. My cousin has been urging me to get here for months. I waited too long. Crust was good. Flavor was outstanding. The pepperoni’s thin and thick. Great. Loved it. If you enjoy wood wired pizzas. A must see.

We came here on a whim, after a campus tour at U.B. What a fantastic place! We ordered at the register and the staff brought our food out. We ordered the panzanella salad, calzone and spaghetti with meatball to share. Huge portions, great flavor, delicious everything! We will be back, most definitely.

**Amazing** Food - we ordered the capricciosa pizza, panzanella salad and a porchetta sandwich - every dish was spot on. Also purchased on the way out the dressings and white garlic sauce for home and very excited. You can tell everything is made with tradition, best ingredients and love from this family business. Greeted by owner Felix, and nice conversation. Will be back! Also, from Rochester... and this beats anything I've had in my town for wood fired bistros! ❤️👌🤷‍♀️

Great authentic Italian food. There's a friendly guy with a thick Italian accent preparing all the pizzas and calzones bread the wood fired pizza oven. He will tell you about the quality ingredients they have shipped from Italy, like the San Marzano tomatoes they use to make their delicious sauce. The service was great, too. We liked everything we ordered and we had a variety because it all sounded so good. The leftovers were still delicious the next day!

Best pizza place i have eaten to date in Buffalo NY. That pizza was next level, cooked to utter perfection in a wood fired oven it was absolutely delectable. Cannot recommend highly enough, you want pizza? You little pizza troll, then look no further.

My BIL mentioned his buddy had a restaurants while back. I Was looking for a place for coworkers and I to go eat some carbs, relax, and vent lol. I remembered hearing of his place so we went and IT WAS SO GOOD!! Prices were a little, whoa, at first but when you realize what you get... wow! I ordered the Spaghetti alle Vongole (basically pasta with clam sauce) but it was alllllll clams!! Definitely got my moneys worth. It was in a delicious citrus garlic sauce too. My friends had some pasta roll up thing and it was huge, also had a large plate of spaghetti with meatballs, a giant panini. Everything looked so good. I saved my leftovers and it was just as good the second time around. The atmosphere was very laid back, family style. Be prepared it isn’t your typical restaurant where a server comes to your table. You order up front, along with your drink then find a table. So if you’re looking for something more formal, this isn’t it. Nonetheless, Service was speedy and servers were friendly. We had gotten there when it first opened but by the time we left it was busy and we had a chance to see a bunch of the pizzas they made ordered by others. I Will definitely be back to try those!!

If I had to choose one word to describe Forno Napoli, it would be “impossible”. That is because it is impossible to sum up everything about this place in one word. I would, however, use the following: -fresh -quality -imported -friendly -delicious -hospitable -flavorful The list could go on and on. And while the food at this artisan shop is outstanding, the staff makes sure to take the experience to the next level! Order whatever sounds good, it will crush your expectations. I promise! Make sure you get a salad, the dressing is unbelievable! And order a Pizza de Adamo. Perfectly cooked pizza with honey and Calabrian pepper infused oil. It truly is a slice of heaven! And the garlic butter… drizzle a little bit of that on there…. WOW!!! Stop by, you’ll love it!

Definitely our new go to Italian restaurant! Food is all freshly prepared and outstanding! The owner took our order and is very friendly and we could tell very proud of his business (as he should be!) Salad was all super fresh ingredients and Italian chicken soup so flavorful! We split a calzone and we both agreed it was the best we have ever had! Accompanying red sauce so light but yet complex! Good selection of wine and beer added to our overall outstanding rating of this restaurant! 💯 we will be back!

Every time I come here (once a month, or so), I just shake my head at how incredibly good this place is. The pizza is every bit as good as the other two famous pizza places in WNY in this style (Jay's and Florian). I actually like it more. Very down to earth, friendly owners and servers, amazing salads and gelato. I love buffalo style pizza but if you want seriously good Napoli style (thin but chewy the way only true semolina dough can do it), this is the place in WNY. The ingredients are all from Italy - amazing dough, cheese, tomato's.

First time eating here on a Sunday evening and I will definitely be coming back! It was busy, but the line moved pretty quickly and we were able to find a table inside for our group of four. We shared the Di Arance Salad, which was so fresh and flavorful. My husband and I shared the Quattro Formaggi pizza, but added sausage and it was delicious. Perfect thickness of crust (not a fan of thick crust). Complimentary flavored lemon water and orange water was also available, which was great!

Just returned from Italy experiencing food I thought was just not possible to get around here. UNTIL NOW!!! Last night my husband and I enjoyed a wonderful evening on the patio at Forno Napoli with live Italian music by The Formula Band and in my opinion the BEST most authentic pizza in this area!! We ordered a Margherita and Lasagna Pizza that reminded me of the pizza I tasted a few days earlier when I was in Italy!! The gelato was creamy and delicious just like the ones I tasted every day in Florence ( the birthplace of gelato-by the way). Both Felix and Rick took the time to greet us ask if this was our first visit. I told him I needed to feel Italy and had heard this is the place to experience they were so gracious and even showed me the wood oven and were excited to hear about why we were there. I’m telling you this place felt like a slice of Italy no doubt!!! We will be back… I can’t wait to try every single item on the menu!! Fantastico 🇮🇹

Second time here! We drove 20 mins to this place and it's one of my partner's favorite pizza restaurants! Great pizza and awesome dessert. My partner had the pizza and we went back twice just for the pizza. I had the pasta, and it was okay. But I'll come back again for the pizza! Service was great. Casual atmosphere and very affordable. Glad we found this place!

This place should have a line out the door! If I lived in Buffalo, I’d be a regular. The panzanella salad was fresh and flavorful. Layered flavors - bread buttery and garlic, vinaigrette tart and savory - tomatoes sweet and crisp - so good. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Stracciatella was authentic. Wood fire pizza oven. Chef came out to the front and greeted tables. Feels like you are at a friend’s house for dinner. Because the staff was so friendly, It even created a friendly atmosphere for the strangers in the restaurant to begin talking to each other. They even had complimentary flavored water options, very thoughtful. Great place! Plenty of parking. Easy to find. Highly recommend.

Outstanding! They do a great job here! We had a Margherita Pizza, Bianca Napoli Pizza, Spaghetti with a huge meatball, and some salads. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was nice. It was easy to find parking. The menu has a lot of great items. My wife and I look forward to going back and trying different items on the menu.

Really not understanding the hype here. My cousin chums and I stopped by for a late dinner this past Sunday on our way back from the 9th Circle of Hell aka Niagara Falls, Canada. I knew Buffalo had a pretty legit pizza scene (I love 'best of' lists, and the ones I've seen for pizza around the country routinely highlight a few establishments from Buffalo) so I was eager to take advantage of our location. The first few that spoke to me were unfortunately closed, but this one had insanely high ratings and wasn't closing for at least 45 minutes, so off we went. I know NOTHING about Buffalo but this didn't seem like it was in the main area of the city - this was a newer, gentrified-looking strip mall/shopping complex that seemed to be catering to nearby college kids based on some of the other businesses nearby (which included an Insomnia Cookies and a ramen place - perfect 2am cuisine). Not a negative necessarily, but a college freshman isn't as likely to have my pizza or just general food palate. It was easy to find and we wandered in with plenty of time to spare (more than we thought, given that we saw people ordering food within literally a few minutes of the 8pm closing, so that closing time could be flexible at least for to-go orders?). This was much more casual than I was expecting, which also lends itself to the college kid business model. We went up to the counter and were told that upon ordering someone would bring out our food, but it wasn't a formal wait staff situation at all. Case in point - when my food was ready, an employee opened the door to the outside area and hollered my name so she knew where to go. Later on when we needed a few to-go boxes, I just helped myself to a DIY pile toward the back of the restaurant. Again, this is definitely not a con but if you ARE looking for a more standard Italian pizza/restaurant setup, this might not be your jam. I saw no reason to complicate shizzle and got a Margarita Pie. Honestly, just okay. A big reason for that was the sauce, which (and this is a personal palate preference) had a lot of tomato chunks/slices in it, which is not my favorite. The cheese was fine but they put a ton of garlic seasoning on it, almost like they didn't trust it to hold its own, and honestly gave it more of a Dominos Cheesy Bread vibe than a normal pie. The crust, surprisingly, was the highlight - had a nice char and give to it. It was also a pretty expensive pie, all things considered; I paid about $25 for this, which is more NYC than Buffalo. I did have a slice or two of my cousin chum's clam pie, which was a special on that particular night, and I thought that was significantly better than mine, probably because it didn't rely on the tomato sauce. Would definitely get that again. Maybe the play is something from their pasta section, but I've had significantly better pizza. Given the pizza reputation in this city, I'd look around for another option if I were in the area.
