The peanut butter/Reese cup cookies and the chocolate chip cookies are out of this world. There is so many delicious treats here! Muffins, bread, cookies, coffees and sooo much more! Make sure you sign up for the rewards program too. I'm so glad I found this little gem of a place :)
Excellent, friendly service, and never a disappointing product. A wonderful Pegula addition and looking forward to trying the Healthy Scratch next.
It was good.
Bonito lugar, muy acogedor aunque cuenta con pocas meses para poder disfrutar los productos ahi mismo. El café esta delicioso, los postres son riquísimos y la atención del personal es super
Waiter we had was pleasant even though it was super busy cause of Sabres game happening that night. Price was average. Food was OK, there was 4 of us. Burger looked great but fries were super salty. Spinach dip was cold and nacho chips thst came w/it were super salty. Chicken wings weren't that meaty. I had the pizza sticks, they were good and filled me up.
After not being served at a bar around the corner, our group of 16 left and went to The Draft Room. Best decision ever! Hope was our waitress and she absolutely killed it! Wings were amazing and came out so quick but yet perfect it was so impressive. Met Matt, one of the owners. He is such an amazing person. He knows customer service and how to run a bar! He's such an amazing man. Defiantly my only go to bar before and after games from here on in!
The Draft Room in Buffalo, NY, is a distinctive and popular spot, particularly for those interested in sports and craft beer. Located at 79 Perry Street inside the Labatt House Building, it's known for its strong Buffalo sports theme and is a favored destination for fans to gather before or after Sabres games, Bandits games, or concerts. The venue boasts a significant selection of over 20 local and regional beers on tap, offering a diverse range of options for beer enthusiasts. As for its operating hours, The Draft Room is open from Wednesday to Saturday, with specific timings that may change to accommodate events at the Key Bank Center. It should be noted, however, that the venue is closed on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. The restaurant's atmosphere and service have received mixed reviews from visitors. Some guests have appreciated the cool atmosphere and the food offerings, particularly during brunch before Sabres games, noting items like chicken & waffles and fish tacos as highlights. The option to build your own Bloody Mary's has also been mentioned as a positive aspect. However, there have also been some criticisms regarding the service and the food quality, with some guests experiencing slow service and others finding the food not up to their expectations. The Draft Room is situated in a renovated warehouse in the Cobblestone District and is known for pairing its craft beer with seasonal fare. It is also a spot that welcomes large groups, making it a potential venue for events or gatherings. Overall, The Draft Room offers a unique experience in Buffalo, especially for sports fans and beer lovers. However, like any establishment, individual experiences may vary, and it's advisable to check recent reviews or visit their website for the latest information and to get a sense of what to expect.
Huge selection of beers on tap with an express menu for fast classic pub eats. The interior is very industrial yet quite comfortable. Lots of light and interesting features, plus some bar games like darts. Chicken wings are great and the poutine has an American touch on a Canadian classic. This may be a Buffalo staple and a must see!
Looks lije
Came at 530 at 6 the waitress said 5 minutes at 620 she said they never got our order, my 8 year old and I are extremely disappointed, however I spoke to manager and Jason hooked it up
The Draft Room Buffalo is a solid choice if you are exploring downtown, catching an event at Keybank Center or a comedy show at Helium. Upbeat vibe with multiple bars and seating areas. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Roll up doors for when the weather cooperates. Plenty of food and beverage options. There is truly something for everyone here! UPDATE: I stopped in for lunch on a weekday and there were only a few tables with people at it. Service was fine, nice sitting by the open air doors. Tried the chicken fingers and fries. Not fresh. Cut fingers but were good and the sauce was actually great. Had a big fan of the coated fries.
I thought this place was very cool. Lots of different types of beer to choose from. It had your typical pub food. I tried the hamburger. The management and staff were very nice to me. The vibe of the place is fun, lots of laughs and enough space to move around and social distance. I also noticed there was an outdoor section as well.
Was hoping for a real fresh homemade bake goods but, it feels like a factory made bakery / like a cafe. The place looks fancy, nice and clean for sure, but it doesn't have the taste like your mom's home bake goods. Was disappointed with the cupcake, wasn't freshly made, the cream was hard (most likely was taken out of the fridge). The quiche also wasn't freshly made, they just heated up the pre-made quiche, I could taste the cold in the center. The croissant was as good as Wegman's bought croissant, wasn't buttery like a real high quality croissant (I recommend to try the croissant from Pastries by Camille to compare - which is one of the best croissant near Buffalo; however; Born n Bread from Lakeland, FL was still the best place to get Croissant; I recommend the owner to try that while having a vacation there; I would fly there everyday if I could LOL). Overall, it is OK, not the best; perhaps, I did not try the bake goods that they freshly bake that day? But, I expect everything to be freshly make and bake everyday, though including cupcakes. Cupcakes should be made fresh (should be served fresh daily, with fresh whipped frosting; perhaps this is not their specialty?) Overall, if anyone looking for a high quality bake goods, this is would be the wrong place. Don't get me wrong the taste is still good but not the best nor special. Still a good stop to fill your tummy with some good bakery items. On the other hand, the price is reasonable for the taste, which make sense.
Excellent build out! Open since April. Limited selection $$$ patron parking makes it easy to visit.
Went before a Bandits game, the place was buzzing. Great atmosphere, good beer but emthe food was disappointing. It
**SIT INSIDE IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO BEES** My fiance and I sat outside last night before the Deftones concert at Key Bank Center. We got mercilessly swarmed by bees and so did everyone else around us. We couldn't finish our food (which wasn't too great to begin with) because the bees nested in it. We moved inside to the bar and had a much better experience there with very good service. I know the bees aren't the bar's fault but just want to warn future customers who may go here soon.
I ordered the wings and fries. Both were just okay. The Korean BBQ flavor for the wings should be labeled as Sweet Chili, as it didn't have the characteristic strong brown sugar or smoky notes I was expecting of the flavor. The place had almost no people when I was there, but after the initial order, I was still barely acknowledged. No questions of "how is everything?" or "can I get you anything else?". I was very annoyed that I was not given napkins, wet wipes, or anything else to remove sauce with, which should be essential with any sort of sticky hand food like wings.
We visited the night of a Sabres/Leaf game and it was packed (even 2 ½ hours before game time). We waited about 30 minutes to be seated. There were 26 beers and ciders on tap and we sampled quite a few while we waited and during our dinner. We decided on wings and fries to split between the two of us. When the food arrived, it looked pretty impressive, it was not. The wings were small and overcooked, I had trouble distinguishing bone from meat at times, the fries and wings both arrived luke-warm. Service was inconsistent as we waited long periods for our food and then beverage refills. It's unfortunate because I thought the atmosphere and beverage selection were awesome. The staff were friendly and apologetic, they were just overwhelmed.
The hamburger was fantastic, the wait staff was friendly, but the restaurant itself was not our style. There's no reservations. To get a seat, you find a table and hover near it. When the seated customers are done, you move in and take the table. Very uncomfortable to hover while people are eating. And since it was an out of city event, most people who arrived had settled in until the concert started. Love the smash burger they had, but won't visit it again.
We've been coming here every yr when were in buffalo to see the sabres. The food is very mediocre, ordered the chicken sandwich bread was hard, and chicken was as thin as paper. Fries sucked. Wint be back. Our waiter bartender was awesome though.
It took forever to get my food. My wings were undercooked with little to no sauce. Additional to taking long to be seated it took even longer to get my food.
Food was terrible. My wife got a salad and ordered it with chicken, it came without chicken. The onion ring on top of the salad was ice cold. I got a burger and it was over cooked and dry tasted terrible. The fries were undercooked. There was only one set of silverware on the table. The waitress did not ever take a drink order, never asked how the food was, and we asked to not be charged for the chicken we don’t get she acted like we trying to get the salad for free. I wouldn’t go here again.
We regrettably went this to this place last Saturday. Only came for a beer before a concert at the arena one time, but decided to dine in this time with my wife. It has a great vibe and atmosphere, but that’s where anything good ends… 1. The lower bar wooden tables that seat four are incredibly wobbly. I can’t imagine why. Kind of hard to watch your beer shake because the table decides to swivel from side to side when you touch it. 2. The young staff (bartenders and runners) behind the bar gossiped, munched on snacks, and played on their phones any chance they could, rather than making eye contact with customers to at least get a sense if anyone needed anything. 3. We had a random bartender (?) come up and ask US what we ordered. Huh? Then, what looked to be a manager (guy in his 40s with a ball cap and beard) walk to our table with a plate of fries and ask if we ordered them before delivering it to another table. Again, huh? You’re running a restaurant and don’t know who ordered what? 4. The food was downright awful. How any restaurant in Buffalo can mess up a Beef on Weck is stunning to me. Rock hard, burnt roll. Processed, lunchmeat-type beef (not shaved like you get anywhere else here) that was brown/black and dry. Fries were the frozen, spiral kind you can get at Tops. The onion rings were decent. This was at 6pm with only one other table in the lower bar, and two groups of couples dining at the bar, itself. My guess is that the staff was too busy checking their phones and giggling to know that my sandwich was left to die under a kitchen heat lamp for 10 minutes longer than it needed to be. Not to mention the only other table (who came in after us) getting their food first. I had to flag down our server from behind the bar to come with our check, just so I could be done with the disaster known as The Draft Room.
Hostesses kicked us off a bar table. Four people bought food and drinks. She said we didn't request table service, yet the bar said, "Please seat yourself." Poor management which is sad because it would have been a great place. Food was good. Great beer selection. Expensive food. Will I be back? Only if friends force me.
