The Original Rachel's on Main Street in Williamsville is the best! I will never go back to any of the franchised locations. The original location has the best tasting and freshest food. I have never had an issue at the original location as I have at the franchise locations. After reading some of the negative reviews, I think the reviewer was not here but at a franchise.I have experienced nothing but positiveness at the the original location. Rachel is the best and super friendly. She remembers her regulars and their orders. I love it there and love the food and service. Highly recommend this location.

Everything was great. This location is more low key. My only complaint is that the lights were so bright I wanted to die but that's a personal problem. Food was super good, fresh and well cooked. Good portions, flavorful. My chicken soulvaki dinner lasted me three meals so yeah. Worth it!!!

Been going here for years - the original Rachel’s - this location has a preset menu unlike the other Rachel’s locations - which you have to build your own - the food is great but very pricey we paid $34.20 for a sub and a wrap. The workers are very nice and attentive. The location is clean and open. Overall a great experience when we order.

We drove to the original Rachel's around 6 pm during the week. We live closer to the location at William and transit, but they don't have one of our desired foods on their menu (rice pudding). My wife walked in and placed the order. The bar was pretty low.. we order take out several times a week from various OTHER places and its not at all unusual that they screw the order up. They were not overly busy and completed our order extremely quickly. Food was delicious. Only item to mention - $35 for the food is extraordinarily high for a salad with chicken, a wrap and a rice pudding...

The rice bowl I ordered was good. I really enjoy how fresh the ingredients used were. Another plus for me is that the staff is very friendly. You can dine in, but I feel this place is best for takeout. Unlike the other locations, this place is very dated

I love their rice bowls. This was my frst time being disappointed with the food and service. Stop by last Wednesday. my order was wrong, I am allergic to peppers and the top was covered in them. I was told they have a new cook, but I was the 1st one there before the lunch crowd. Waited another 10 mins, and that order was wrong too. (should have checked before I pulled off) still peppers and other items I didn't order. I called when I got home, the manager was suppose to call me back. Never received a callback. Very disappointing.

Ordered delivery. Food arrived on time and warm. Kabobs were undercooked to my taste, but ok. Hummus had a very weird/bad taste, I only tried and decided something was wrong and discarded it - hopefully the amount I tried won’t make me sick. Overall it was a bad experience. Definitely overpriced for the quantity and quality they offer. I wouldnt recommend and won’t be ordering from this place again.

TLDR: THIS FOOD MADE ME VIOLENTLY SICK This place has gone down hill since they opened the other locations. When we walked in, there were wasps and flys buzzing around inside the restaurant. When we were given our food, I noticed it didn't taste right, and the pita for our gyros broke in half when we tried to fold it into a wrap. I just assumed they started buying cheaper product. About a half hour after I ate this I became violently ill (food poisoning). It is a miracle I made it to the bathroom in time. I feel really bad writing this because the employees were so friendly, but their food is not what it used to be and someone else could get violently sick like I just recipes. If management is reading this, I used to love your food pre covid era! Please clean your restaurant and go back to your old recipes so I can eat here again without getting sick!!!

If you go to other locations (like me) you will be disappointed when you come to this location. The service was friendly, but they only have one type of rice. (The food selection was limited.) The container they store the food in at this location is also smaller and different. And you also can’t collect points for you food. (I order Rachel’s 3-4 times per month, so earning the rewards is important to me.) All in all, I wont come back to this location! I would rather go to my usual location (Niagara Falls Blvd or Delaware) Very good service though and clean. I give them credit for that.

This review is for Mediterranean on 5953 Main Street in Williamsville NY. I am highly disturbed by this establishment. I have never encountered this type of service or management/ owner issue ever. I am addressing a series of deeply troubling experiences I have encountered at your establishment. On multiple occasions, I have been subjected to discriminatory treatment by a member of your staff, which has left me feeling marginalized and unwelcome. During my initial visit a few months ago, I called to inquire about using a credit I had been issued. The person who answered the phone initially was polite, but the situation quickly deteriorated. Despite my intention to dine in, I was abruptly told since I still came in and placed my order online “Here is your food now you can go” & leave the premises. When I questioned this treatment and suggested it might be due to my skin color, I was threatened with police involvement and accused of being rude. I asked “Isn’t this an open environment for customers to eat?,There are others eating here”. She responded with “I made your food you can leave”. I asked what her name was and she would not tell me so I took a picture for management to see who it was when I went to talk to them. Despite my efforts to address this issue with your management (Gina’s father he stated) after he said they do not condone this behavior, the behavior and threats still persists. During a recent attempt (months later) I called to place an order, I was once again met with hostility and discrimination by the same staff member, identified as Gina. Not only was I refused service, but I was also informed that I am not welcome at the establishment solely because I previously raised concerns about discrimination and using a credit. It is deeply concerning that such behavior continues unchecked, especially considering Gina's apparent relation to the management. As a customer, I expect to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of my skin color or any previous interactions.
