TL; DR - modern, quality Vietnamese food in a light and airy setting. New ownership has upped the food quality here. Came here on a Saturday night to grab dinner with friends. The restaurant was buzzing, the servers were all nice and attentive. Parking was a breeze. Ordered crispy egg rolls and marinated chicken wings for appetizers. Both had great flavors and the dipping sauce was nicely fragrant. My friends got the beef pho, combo vermicelli. Great quality, good textures. Can’t speak poorly of these dishes. I got the shaken beef rice dish and another friend got the shaken beef garlic noodle dish. The beef was tender and flavorful, perfectly done. The vegetables were fresh and the picked carrots complemented everything perfectly. The garlic noodles were Al dente and umami perfectly. Overall, it was a delicious meal. Hoping to come back and have a beer at the bar next time with dinner!

Outstanding! The rice vermicelli dish with the grilled pork and egg rolls is truly amazing. The restaurant interior has a very light and open feel - clean and simple. A perfect environment for sampling the delicate flavors of Vietnamese cuisine.

I visited on a Friday night. The service was prompt and cheerful but the food could have been served faster. The beef pho was flavourful and comforting, the pork sausage rolls were well made as well. Iced Vietnamese coffee i ordered reminded me of starbucks but not in a bad way. A good, unpretentious place to come for comfort food.

Great New find; you can see and taste the quality. A simple menu with complex flavors & food that will keep you coming back! Although our server was great everyone came and checked on us. The bartender was mixing Valentine's Day concoctions and recruited us to participate in a taste test. The medium-sized room is elegantly decorated. The bathrooms are large and clean. We arrived for an early dinner, the place was mostly empty. By 6:30 every table was full & there were hungry patrons waiting for a seat. Others picked up to-go orders, so people already know about Lotus and Light. I recommend you check it out, and review it for yourself. Parking is ample & next door to Starbucks. You can enjoy some shopping or hit the grocery market a few doors down. I highly recommend the 50/50 beef and pork rice (it's not on the menu as 50/50). The meat was so tender and flavorful the sauce included was on point. I had the beef pho my wife had the vegetable tofu. Mine was rich and flavorful I thought hers was a little bland. Overall everything we sampled was fantastic. The service was great. As you can see on receipt, the price is what you would expect. The quality excellent, the space was bright and clean. I give 5 stars with confidence I will be back save me a table!

Some of the best service I’ve ever had! VERY clean and in a good area! Servers are extremely nice and polite! Food had incredible quality and was very tasty it’s such a cute place! I totally recommend I got the steak soup! We were also allowed to sit anywhere we’d like. Would come back:)

It’s a cozy neighborhood spot with a calm, clean interior that makes for a relaxing dining experience. The staff are friendly, though often a bit understaffed, which is understandable for a smaller place. Their vegetarian options are fresh and satisfying, and they’re flexible with substitutions; I had the beef vermicelli with noodles swapped for extra veggies, and it was delicious. If you’re in the area and craving a wholesome, flavorful meal, Lotus Light is definitely worth a visit.

The food here is disappointing! I came here after seeing some promising reviews. Realized the reviews were 3-5 years old and not recent. Most of the photos within the review were no longer being served and/or not on the menu. Came here for lunch. The menu selection definitely gotten slimmer. The flavor was bland as f. Ordered the basil fried rice,shrimp pho, and veggie egg rolls. The shrimp in the rice tasted undercooked and underseasoned. The shrimp pho was just sad looking. The egg rolls were mediocre. Maybe the cook was having an off day. Service was pleasant and prompt. The food though....pure disappointment.

Service 3/5 Average service with one server on duty at lunch. A little disappointed the mediocre attention given but service was friendly Food 3/5 Speaking only for the Banh Mi sandwiches which are a bit dry since there’s so much bread. Pandan waffles are also quite plain too not what I’m expecting. Parking 4/5 Shared parking lot with other businesses and often times there’s street parking

I didn't realize until I had already driven home 15 minutes away and set the table to eat. After this experience I don't know if I will be coming back.

We ordered here regularly for almost two years, however the past 3 orders were horrible. We kept on ordering hoping it was one off. Food quality declined dramatically, yesterday we ordered delivery, Pho was yellow and greasy ( looked more like chicken broth ), meat with rice had a weird smell like it wasn’t fresh. And had tiny hair all over the meat 🤢 Really disappointed as we used to order at least once a week and bring family over. Not coming back

Lotus and Light was a bit of a I had a disappointing experience at Lotus and Light. The first bowl I received was dirty, and the second one was broken on the side, which left me feeling unimpressed with the service. The pho portion was very small, much like the size you’d expect in Vietnam, but it didn’t satisfy me for the price. There were also very limited options available, especially since I arrived early in the morning. Overall, it didn’t meet my expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend it for a fulfilling meal.

Quality has gotten so incredibly bad here that I believe it is truly a concern to public health. Its about 50% chance your chicken will arrive undercooked and on my last order, where i switched to beef, literally every single piece of meat had several pieces of hair on it. Stay away.

DO NOT order to go from here. Especially if you work in film or are ordering for an office. I had an order of 14 that I placed the minute the restaurant opened, and when I arrived hours later at my "pick up time", they made me wait over 1 hour-- causing everyone in my office to miss their lunch hour. Meanwhile, I watched doordasher after doordasher breeze through and pick up an order or 2, while my order that I had carefully placed in advance was ignored. I also emailed the restaurant afterwards explaining the situation (hoping I could continue giving them business) but it's been a month and they haven't replied so I that is why I am bringing my complaint public.

my boyfriend and i were so excited for our food. until we got our waters. i was so thirsty and chugged like half the water as soon as it came out. tasted like tap water which is perfectly fine since all restaurants serve tap water that’s not the problem. i see 2 weird brownish residues at the bottom of my cup, i show my boyfriend and he says “oh it’s probably a lemon residue” since some places put lemons in their waters and i didn’t think much of it, until i used my brain a little harder and thought, this doesn’t taste like fancy lemon or mint water this just taste like plain water so i grab one chop stick and fished out the residue and put it on the back of my hand. TELL ME WHY THE “RESIDUE” CURLED UP???? AND THEN I TOOK A CLOSER LOOK AND FREAKED OUT AND PUT IT BACK ON MY CHOPSTICK. THE SO CALLED RESIDUE WAS CONVULSING AND INCHING UP THE CHOPSTICK. IT WAS THE SIZE OF 2 RICE GRAINS, WAS A MUSTY WHITE COLOR, HAD A BROWNISH BLACK EYE AND A BROWN BUTT. BRO. I DRANK WORM WATER. I WAS IN SHOCK. MY BOYFRIEND WAS IN SHOCK. WE WERE SO HUNGRY. WE SHOWED THE WAITER THE WORM LITERALLY DANCING ON THE CHOPSTICK AND HE SEEMED SURPRISED TOO AND APOLOGIZED AND WE ASKED IF WE COULD CANCEL OUR ORDER AND JUST LEAVE. i should’ve taken a picture but we just wanted to get out of there asap. when we got in the car i searched up “small white worm found in tap water with tiny brown/black dot” and turns out its a drainfly larvae which can infest dirty drains and faucets. yeah so we just ended up eating at home.
