The sushi and rolls were just okay; there wasn’t much to get excited about. My daughter didn't enjoy it much, saying it didn't taste fresh. We ordered to-go, but she ate at the food court next to the restaurant, so the food didn’t sit for long—less than 5 minutes. However, the flavors were bland and didn’t stand out. Overall, it wasn't a memorable meal, and I think we might try a different place next time.

Good tasty food, I highly recomend lemonade with raspberry drink, exelent drink, also if you are in the mule drinks take a sip at theirs, very tasty as well. The only reason I did t give the 5 stars is because of the slow service, took some time for the waitress to take the order and deliver the food and slow to attend, not only us but other customers as well. But the drinks and good food is woth the time.

Chicken was dried out in the teriyaki, not enough sauce. Girlfriend said her ramen was fine not the best but good. Service was nothing to write home about, had to wait until the busboy noticed our drinks were empty but thanks to him managed to get a refill.

Was a bank holiday Monday so not sure how reflective the experience is of everyday food and service. Our server was incredibly busy with very little support, and was the most impressive part of our visit. Food was fine, although one of the three items we ordered never arrived. This is definitely a decent place to grab some sushi and Japanese food. Would definitely come back.

Food is always good but its a shame that the service is so poor. Every time I go, the service is slow, the waiters hardly check up on us and or they forget something. Other locations have much better service. Hopefully they can retrain their staff or do something about it.

Order a teriyaki plate which was a good size and tasty. California roll which was on the smaller size. I'm given it a 3 because the tonkonsu ramen was flavorless. Broth tasted like water soaked on noodles, and the portion of the protein was small.

The sushi was good. We got the Cilantro Albacore roll (very good), and the Lobster Roll (hurt our teeth on a piece of shell) and lobster was cooked well but a little bitter. Ramen. Not good. Very bland. And they can only do hard boiled eggs (not soft boiled) which makes us think that they have the eggs pre boiled before orders come in. Salad. Was fresh. Fried Icecream was yummy! We got vanilla. I was surprised because I usually don’t like this item at other places. As an appetizer we got the squid balls, not sure what the name was. They were good! A little sweet, could have used a bit more savory. Servers were very kind, just a bit busy. Low staff amount for a Friday night. This was our first experience here, and overall, not something we would come back to. But thank you to the kind staff!

The restaurant was busy due to graduations. I think the servers were doing the best they could but ours disappeared for a while at a time because he had so much to do. It's too bad servers can't share tables. The food was good but expensive, although I expect that for a sushi restaurant! My husband and I got a side of tempura and the sashimi omakase deluxe platter to share and we were still hungry afterwards. Maybe we should have gotten rolls or other items instead. The platter and the tempura were otherwise very good and the platter presentation was beautiful. The restaurant's interior is modern Japanese. It is standard for a Collection restaurant.

Food is great. Service is fair. Waiter is polite and very attentive. But i notice he was the only one serving a couple of tables although there were other staff but Juan i believe his name was, was the only one taking the other tables order. It wouldve been faster service if those other two staff help take customers order.

This wasn’t my first time here, but I wanted to give it a few more visits before writing a fair and detailed review. I stopped by on Saturday for lunch right before happy hour. I was craving something fresh, and Kabuki happened to catch my eye. One thing I do appreciate is how quickly they seat you. We were seated immediately upon walking in. However, the table we were given wasn’t really to my liking, so I asked if it was possible to move to a booth. The host mentioned she couldn’t move us because it would give the waiter an extra table, which I didn’t fully understand. I didn’t push the issue and stayed at the original table. I do have to say, our waiter—unfortunately I didn’t catch his name—was extremely sweet and attentive. He gave great recommendations and patiently answered all of our questions, which I really appreciated. As for the food, it honestly wasn’t great. If you’re looking for something quick and convenient, this place might work, but if you’re looking for quality food, I wouldn’t recommend it. We started with the clams, which were decent but a bit bland. We also ordered the shishito peppers and ended up leaving the entire plate—they were simply not good and very disappointing. For our main course, we ordered the Lover’s Table, which includes teriyaki chicken, steak, beef ribs, two gyozas, two pieces of sushi, two pieces of tempura shrimp, and fried vegetables, along with complimentary soup and salad. Out of everything, the soup and salad were honestly the best parts of the meal. The steak, in particular, was not good. One positive note is that they do have a sushi bar if you’re really into sushi. The music is kept at a low volume, which makes it easy to have a conversation. Overall, this just isn’t a place I’d come back to.

If you place an order over the phone please expect a long wait, don’t believe the 15-20min. Today placed an order and I had to wait very long for it to be ready, it was almost an hour since I placed it. The girls at the front were very nice and embarrassed on how long I had to wait. I can believe that after all that wait my food was cold. Not going back, will have to look for another sushi place.

Worst sushi I’ve ever had. Ordered miso soup & edamame for appetizers. Edamame came out quickly but before drinks. Watched our drinks sit at the bar for over 10 minutes. Was a Friday night but didn’t look that busy maybe server was overwhelmed or kitchen was behind, ordered 2 orders of 2 piece salmon sushi, an order of yellowtail sushi, and an order of halibut. Along with 2 rolls and a hand roll. Hand roll looked nothing like what was displayed in menu, all the sushi tasted so bad we didn’t eat another piece after trying the first piece. Wasn’t informed they didn’t have halibut until all the entrees were being served so I cancelled the order. Poor job on the knife work with the sushi and the quality of the fish was even worse. Never going back.

If you’re willing to wait a good 15-20 minutes for your food, come here. I was doing an ubereats order and on my end I made a mistake thinking the food would come out shortly, I was wrong. When I walked in, they told me I was waiting for one more item. That item took a good 10-15 minutes. I made the mistake of parking on the curb side parking that you need to pay for thinking I would get the order shortly after walking in. They took so long, I got a parking ticket. Never picking up from here anymore nor eating at. Certainly learned my lesson. I can only imagine what it’s like waiting while dining in. Absolutely ridiculous.

If you want sushi go somewhere else. Quality has been going downhill. Lately the food has no taste no seasoning no flavor. I've tried it with my family a couple of times and we're still under the same impression that they lack flavor. Especially the noodles have no flavor they look good but they taste like nothing you have to add as many comments as they have available I would much rather go to a different Sushi spot in Oxnard.

This is a very Americanized Japanese restaurant. My first impression when we sat down was picture of sushi taco, which was a big red flag. I started with a hot green tea which was more like hot water with a hint of tea. For the dish I got beef yakisoba and the flavor was not good. Almost like a cheap sweet soy sauce that went bad. Was not worth eating and just left it behind. This was the first and last time I am coming here. I highly do not recommend coming here.
