Ventura Chuck e Cheese is amazing!!! It definitively checks all my boxes... vibe✔️, food✔️, cleanliness✔️✔️, staff... 10-out-of-10!!! Especially my girl Erica!!! Above ame beyond for not just us but everyone I saw her interact with, and she is hilarious!!!
We've always had great service here. Chuck E Cheese is my children's favorite place to go. I was sad to see the Animatronics are gone. They have upgraded the place and it looks amazing. We went lastnight for my nephews birthday and the pizza tasted even better than before. An employee came up to our table and gave us a box to take our leftover pizza home without any of us asking. The service was impeccable! Keep up the great and welcoming service! Our family will continue making memories here. Thank you!
My kiddos love coming here and the staff are so kind as well as accommodating! We have so much fun as a family and the monthly membership.
This is a great place to bring kids, family and even come as a group of adults. The pizza is decent, the place is spacious, and the deals for credits are pretty decent. Getting pizza and credits is a good deal to get since you get to eat and play. The games are fun to play and the kids are not annoying. This is definitely a place for parties and stuff. The cheese crust is not worth an extra 2 dollars, but I still give it 5 stars.
went here for a 4th bday party. first time after the updates. everything looks great. big digital screen is super modern, and flat screens throughout. I joked that after kids hours it would make a great sports bar. they already serve the beer. kids loved it and the updates really made it feel less like stepping back in time. though i do miss the sky tubes and ball pits from my own childhood. trampoline zone is a cool addition. I mean I can only assume since it's not for adults.
Super Fun, Party of twenty - Cora's 6th Birthday 🎂🥳
Thanks to Kiara. We had an excellent time, considering the fact that she was under a lot of stress working by herself.
My kids love it everytime, so many memories here!
Had a very good time and the kids had fun.
First thing I want to say is that Juan is amazing! He always greets us with a big smile and my kids remember him every time we come here, because of how friendly he is to them. I truly appreciate that there's someone like him working there. This place is mainly for kids and I love that he makes them feel special and welcomed! I had not visited this location in a couple of months and I was very happy surprised to see all the new games and renovations they've done! Everything looks and smells so clean. They have new games! My kids were so excited to play the new games. They also have a "trampoline zone" it's $10 per kid for the day. There's not many things for kids to do here in Ventura, so appreciate a place that is specifically for them! If you haven't been here in a while you get a card and you either load it with points or time. We usually do points so we don't have to worry about running out of time. You also don't get tickets anymore, the tickets are added into the card. Once you are done playing you take your card to redeem your "tickets" that were added to car and get a prize! I didn't get any food this time, but we have in the past and we like it!
This Chuck E. Cheese is way better than the one In Santa Maria. I think everyone that comes here fell like a kid once again ( I didn't rate the food because I didn't eat there but I'm pretty sure it's good cause everyone else was eating there)
Love this Chuck E. Cheese! Nice friendly staff Manager was very nice his name was Colton
The greatest experience ever for hosting my first party and Colton was amazing and I believe her name is kira. They were very attentive very helpful and very kind. They made my life easier.
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! Went for my partner’s birthday- it’s the last one remotely near with the animatronics- and HOLY HEAVEN it was amazing! Even their minimal animation when not doing a particular song, the robots were the highlight of the experience and I loved them so much. The pizza wasn’t the most fantastic in the world, but it was better than I was expecting- and the cookie cake and dippin dots made it perfection. The fact they have Manzanita Sol in the soda fountain was awesome too- that’s one of my favorite drinks! It wasn’t busy at all, and was overall not overwhelming and didn’t cause too much sensory overload (speaking from experience as an autistic person) and it was the best birthday they’d ever had. Absolutely perfect. <3
Celebrated my daughters 6th Birthday with the full Chuck E cheese Bday package and it was def worth the money. The kids got to go play arcade games and run around without worrying if they were gonna get lost. The food for the birthday parties was made a priority so they came out fairly quick. Only downside is the jump play area and ninja run are NOT included. You have to pay an additional $15 dollars for socks and wristband. The Birthday area maybe needs to be a bit bigger, there were alot of Birthdays, families and friends crowded all around. Two hours goes by fast! So once that two hour mark hits, your cards don't work anymore for games. Otherwise, the manager working that day Jordan or George thank you for being kind and patient. You were very helpful and we appreciate that. :)
So it is nothing like it used to be. It is clean, the pizza is pretty darn good, a great assortment of games, plenty of tables for sitting down to eat. There is a section for much smaller kiddos to play. I appreciate the security check a lot. The employees are always working really hard and are so friendly. It cant be easy to staff it and they are great. The Ventura location is WAY better than the Thousand Oaks location with regard to cleanliness and employee organization

Good ol' Family fun. Skeeball and basketball hoops let the adults have a swing at the fun. Plenty of options for food, drinks. We will be back. Also the pass is good for most locations in the U.S. for our of state trips.
We came at noon on Saturday and enjoyed the clean and fun space. My son is on the Autism spectrum and enjoyed the soft play/ trampoline area/pass. I must say, the entire staff team did a phenomenal job overseeing that the trampoline area was safe, managed and rules were being followed. The supervisor was very observant to ensure things were running smoothly. Thank you for a wonderful trip to Ventura (on a busy Saturday).
Had my daughter's n grandson birthday on 12/19/25 . First time for party the party host was the best Rafael thank u .you were the best
Kiera (spelling?) was so nice and helpful! She wears a lot of hats and was amazing at everything! Definitely will take my kids back they had a blast. The customer service and professionalism Kiera displayed was next level. Thanks for a great time taking my little ones here :)

I was shocked that the pizza is good. Like, the pizza is better than it has any right to be when a rodent is the mascot but it is surprisingly good. I went for a kid's party and wound up ordering another pizza for our table because people ate it so quick. The ambiance and everything else is exactly what to expect from a franchise food venue geared at kids and parties. But the pizza. My god. I can't stop talking about it.
Kid and adult friendly. They have renovated the place so no more cheese smell.
The kids had a blast! They were a bit bummed that the stage is now gone. Expensive pizza but the unlimited play pass is well worth the money. Kids all played games and got a few prizes so they were happy. The staff was friendly and made it a good experience. Spent $75 for dinner and an evening out with the kids. Pretty good deal!
Update from 1/12/2025 - Went there again for hubby's late birthday celebration. Food was okay, pizza was a little overdone and wings were a little small. However, the worst part...we all got sick!! Two different households that just met there got sick. While chit chatting with a co-worker about getting sick after out little trip to Chuck E. Cheese he mentioned his daughter went two days after we did and got sick too! With the flu going around and lack of cleaniness I would avoid coming here for a bit. Went to celebrate hubby's bday. He loved it. The food was good. If you Google coupons, you will find good deals on their pizza.
Had a fantastic time at Chuck E. Cheese! The pizza was delicious, and the variety of games kept everyone entertained. The staff was friendly and made sure the kids had a blast. It's a perfect spot for family fun and tasty pizza—definitely coming back for more good times!
Today, I took my nephew to Chuck E. Cheese for some fun on a cool, windy day. Arriving at 11 AM on a Saturday, we noticed it was getting busier. The staff, although quick and efficient, seemed a bit understaffed as the crowd grew. While I’ve enjoyed their pizza and salad bar in the past, today’s visit didn’t include those options. The rates are on the higher side, but purchasing time cards for several hours of play is a better value than using the “credit” cards. Additionally, if your child plans on jumping on the new trampoline area, using points might be more cost-effective. The store’s newly remodeled, clean, and bright appearance was inviting, although there was a musky odor near the counter upon entry. Despite the minor hiccups, we’ll be back for the unique experience Chuck E. Cheese offers children.
Great improvement! Love the new huge plasma TV. They got rid of the old school mechanical Chucky and group band and extended the party area. Doesn't feel stuffed up anymore. They now have a trampoline play area, but you have to pay extra and buy grip socks.

My daughter loves going here, the only thing I don’t like is the wait at the register and to check her card for her to get a candy with the tickets she won.
I actually enjoyed it here, its a bit chaotic, a bit expensive. There's 2 giant screens 1 on the floor thw other on the wall that play chuck Es music and whatnot. The food is slow to come out but its well done mostly. Chuck e wil ll celebrate with the birthday kids and visit ectopic birthday table.

Prices are OVER THE ROOF. The pizza is not that great..like before. I mean from 1-10 1=Best, well it's a 6. The staff where koo. Card for games is 25$ for 30min for one kid. That NOT INCLUDING the Jungle Jim! U need a wrisk band 18$ each kid. Crazy right? 2 pizzas one topping each plus cookie pizza and 6 drinks it was 70$ I'm just giving parents a heads up.
We were at Chuck E. Cheese on Saturday for our niece’s birthday party, and unfortunately, the oven broke, causing a huge backlog in the kitchen. No one could order food, and we ended up getting ours after about two hours. That said, I want to give a big thank-you to Rafa and his manager for being so accommodating. It was clearly a tough day for the whole team, but they stayed professional and did their best even while getting complaints from every direction. I really appreciate how they handled a stressful situation with patience and kindness.
Sad the lack of service here. Pretty much all self-serve. When you pick up your food, there's barely anyone available to help if you need something. Cashiers aren't friendly anyone ( like they once were). Very mixed feelings about the jumping area. It wasn't supervised, noticed kids go in there, then a worker came over & told them to get out.

Not like it used to be. Although it may be cleaner than I remember, it is definitely lacking in excitement/ thrills. Games are boring, make hardly any points/tickets for the money you pay to play. I won't be back.
Our son loves coming here to play games and he always has a great time. But from our perspectives as parents, this place needs A LOT of work. We visited the Thousand Oaks location which really opened our eyes to how awesome Chuck E. cheese could be. This Ventura location really lacks cleanliness, customer service, and just general fun attitude/energy. The games seem dirty and not well kept. The same couple games will be off or out of order when we go. The staff is very bland like they’re not excited to be there, which they’re at work so I guess I understand(?) but this is a fun environment, you would expect them to be more friendly. The staff is so dull, so once Chuck E comes out you can only imagine how dull his performance is….lol. Ventura staff, take some notes from the Thousand Oaks location!!! Be better!!! please!
We came for a friends party. At 8pm this place was packed! This location has definitely seen better days. All the games are old and out dated. The characters and tv on the stage look like they’re still the same ones from the early 90’s & birthday celebration is extra cringy 😂 lots of the games and kids rides are broken and don’t work. The place needs a major facelift & better games.

It has been some time that I come to Chuck E. Cheese with my family. I was disappointed at my visit for we spent 18$ on a platter of wings that were supposed to be 6 servings which sounded pretty big but it was really 16 chicken nuggets that were called wings and doused in hot sauce and sweet sauce(half and half). The pizza was bad as well, super thin and cheese tasted like cheep string cheese which we waited for 20mins for(33$ for a bad pizza). We spent over 60 dollars for 3 people. The place keeps getting more expensive and boring as well for parents. I'm not coming again for how little sitting they have and not only that they made us wait for bad food which wasn't worth it. We came here for the kids but I say it be better just to go to the movies.
I've noticed that Chuck-E-Cheese is severely understaffed, and the available staff isn't very helpful. My family often waits around five minutes for someone to stamp our hands for entry, and once inside, the lines can be long, with only one cashier taking orders, which can take up to 30 minutes. We visit weekly due to our fun pass, but it's frustrating to see staff standing around instead of assisting customers. Additionally, there’s rarely anyone at the exit, leading us to leave without having our hands checked, which raises safety concerns.
We came for a birthday party, they have a section with a trampoline and obstacle courses. It’s ok if the require socks for the kids, but they told my kids they need to buy their own EXCLUSIVE Chuck E. Cheese socks to get in? And that is $16 bucks per pair? Are you kidding me? That’s the worst business idea, making us pay for $16 socks so my kids can play? That is so ridiculous and selfish from the owners, it doesn’t make sense and I’ll ask the manager to change this dumb rule. They made my kids cry for a pair of socks.. NOT kids friendly and bad service
The new trampoline area looks great and all but when an employee puts hands on my 3yr old granddaughter there is a serious problem. It was the 1st time there for her and was excited and entered the area without socks and wrist band. I totally get needing to pay but maybe cal or for a parent to grab the child not a stranger to the child (employee). My next call will be corporate. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
Worst Chuck E Cheese ive been to East or West coast. 1/3rd of the games are broken, 30 minutes for a dry over cooked pizza, 2 full drink stations but only 4 of the dispensers work and 1 ice dispenser. No lids or straws for the cups. All in all won't be coming back here. Recommend taking the to Thousand Oaks instead!

Was there on a weekday and wasn’t too busy. Staff were unhelpful when I had a question about the machines, took forever to get someone to assist. Machines to get your token credits were all out of service but 1. Pizza took awhile and when it was ready for pick up it was barely warm. Then when it came to exchange points for prizes most prizes were not even available. Ended up giving our points to another child. Never again.
My gosh where do I even start. We had my daughter’s birthday party here on 11/05/25 at 6 PM and it was a complete disaster. We arrived 30 minutes early to place our food order and waited at the door for the stamp on our hand for about 15 minutes. No one acknowledged us so we walked in. When we ordering we told the cashier we didn’t have a stamp ,that no one was at the door, she rolled her eyes and walked away upset to stamp us. That should have been the first red flag. We placed a $300+ plus food order and paid $200 for the party bundle and sat to wait. Our guests arrived right at 6 PM and we still had no food. It wasn’t until 7 PM that we started getting our pizzas and out of eight pizzas we only got seven. The app platers we ordered were cold! When I asked for the missing pizza they tried arguing with me insisting we already had all the pizzas, when I named all the pizzas we received the lady making the pizzas grabbed one she was making and stared at me pissed off threw it into the oven aggressively . My father in law and cousin ordered wings when they arrived at 6 PM and didn’t get them until 7:45 PM! The soda machines had no ice, some were dispensing water, and then the AC started leaking, water actually dripped on me before they put buckets down. Almost every worker was rude or ignoring people. I saw one lady yell at a customer who paid for the jumping section. She told the lady the socks she handed her were too small for her kids. The cashier yelled at the customer “that’s all we have! ” and proceeded to ignore her. The party next to us looked just as upset as we were. A lot of the kid games weren't working or were turned off. When it was time to leave a worker refused to let my friend and her kids out because they didn’t have stamps, even though no one was at the door when we arrived to stamp anyone in the first place. The only good thing was our host Rafa, I believe that was his name. He was the only polite and respectful person there trying to make the best of it. Don’t waste your money here! This place has gone to shit. Update 12/02/25- this place or the owner doesn't care what we have to say or how shitty their service was. I reached out to the link he provides in all his bad reviews and have yet to hear from anyone. You are better off spending your money on a normal birthday party at the park or home.
This location is not worth buying the play card because more then half of their games are broken and just resets on theor own so you basically play for free. This one staff member sent me to a very long line just to get 2 water cups then proceeds to walk away on her phone . This specific staff member was rude from most time I've seen her . Im very dissapoint in customer service at this location is unfortunate. And when a handful of staff members are at the registers . They are talking to each other with only ONE register open and dont bother to help the young lady. This is a very disappointing experience.
The animatronics started misfunctioning. The mouse called, “chuck” or whatever his creepy name is, grabbed my son by his collar and growled at him. The cheese pizza was a 1/5. The cheese was cold and it seemed to be reheated, though it wasn’t really heated.. it was definitely trash. Go to a different location !!!
Bought the time based card to play games. There's a timer on it that prevents you from playing another game too quickly after the first time. But it's less time than a game of sleep ball. So you end up sitting there wasting time waiting for the next game to be ready on your card. At the rate they charge for a half hour of arcade, I want my full time.
