Avis sur Old Town Cafe Camarillo
It's a very busy sit down cafe. They were a little short handed for the amount of people in the cafe but service was very friendly just not quick. If you like sweet coffee the lattes were excellent. We got the vanilla latte and a mocha. We got the advocado toast and breakfast burrito and the food was ok. Not quite as flavorful and fresh as I was hoping for for the price. They had a very extensive menu with a little bit of everything related to a breakfast cafe. Price point was about $25 per person with coffee, food, and tip.
We had a great first visit to Old Town Cafe! Tried the churro waffle and Baja-style eggs Benedict — both were delicious. I also had a cappuccino topped with caramel, and wow… it was outstanding! The place has a great vibe — clean, cozy, and welcoming. Service was friendly and quick too. Just a heads-up: we went on a Sunday, and the place filled up fast. There are fewer than 10 tables inside plus an outdoor patio, so if you come late, be ready for a short wait. So many great items on the menu — we’ll definitely be back to try more. Really impressed! Update: We went again on Saturday morning and many tables were available. This time, we ordered the Huevos Rancheros and the Latin Lover — both were juicy and flavorful. The sauce on the Huevos Rancheros was especially great. After our meal, we walked over to the Camarillo Farmers Market, just about 1.5 blocks away. Perfect weekend morning!
Always great, it seemed to be busy but was still able to get seated for 2 right away. In n out in an hour. Great food and amazing staff is key to the success of Camarillo's great breakfast joint. One of my favorite places to eat breakfast or lunch.
Hello everyone, here is the setup. If you love breakfast, here is another place to visit if you're in downtown Camarillo. Our food was on point as we ordered it. VERY TASTY food, high-quality eats.. This is a must visit place. Like always, brothers and sisters listen to your food souls and make it happy. God bless
Mark and Candace made our visit enjoyable with impeccable service. The food is fresh and delicious. They also do mimosas!
The coffee didn’t impress me but the eggs Benedict was better than most places.

Sunday breakfast. Delicious food, friendly attentive service and fun location. Build your own Eggs Benedict was so enjoyable. The hollandaise sauce was good...VERY GOOD and the eggs were cooked properly. Everyone working there was so attentive. In a time when customer service has nearly disappeared, they truly care about your experience. Very lovely restaurant.
Everytime i come to Camarillo i come to this place. The corn beef hash is delicious and all their breakfast too. My favorite breakfast spot. Everybody is nice here. People who complain because the food is done cooked super fast should just go to McDonald's. This is freshly made food from scratch.
Didn’t take photos of the food or inside, it’s a lovely little cafe in Camarillo old town center. Very good coffee, eggs well dinero my order, hash brown delicious. Very good attention and nice atmosphere. Recommend! 5*

Got there on a Friday at 11:00 a.m. There was no wait. Ordered the chorizo burrito with salsa Roja and cheese on top and breakfast tacos. Burrito was a good size. Everything was cooked perfectly with good flavor. The potatoes were a bit hot. Tacos for good. Salsa on the side was a medium hot. Service was friendly and fast. This was a place I saw on TikTok. I didn't order their specialty, "The Spanish" or eggs Benedict but it was a good meal.
The food was pretty good. Portions were not oversized, which was nice for the diet. Nothing too decadent or crazy delicious, just right. Very reasonable prices. Good spot to grab a meal without all the bells and whistles. Service was quite slow for us considering the brunch rush, however they gave us a discount on our food because of the delay, so all was well.
This is an excellent place for breakfast with a variety of options. I have been in Camarillo for a while and this was my first time here. I love the atmosphere and food was excellent. We ordered the red velvet pancakes and some french toast. The staff were professional and provided great service. Will definitely stop by again and try other menu items.
Cute little breakfast spot! Food was delicious, everything we ordered was good. Our server was great and did his absolute best to keep up with how busy they were. They were just slammed when it was time for our food to come out so we had some mishaps otherwise I would give 5 stars (toast was forgotten on one order, coffee was accidentally spilt on the table when poured and it went through the crack of the two tables pushed together almost spilling on us, had to wait for more coffee to brew to get a refill).
Very enjoyable breakfast... very much appreciated that the serving sizes were moderate. Service was great, too. We got there just ahead a rush. It did get load especially when the coffee grinder was going. The Panco Bene was really yum and went really nice with the OTC cheesey potato cake. Important to note- the poached eggs were nice and runny ... thank you!! So many places over do them it seems... but I digress. The Fire Blazer waffle was a really interesting take on chicken and waffles .. took a few bites to get into it, but liked it. Felt the syrup on the side was a good call as it's better for a light dip than a drenching as it changed the taste profile with the Frank's hot sauce.
I think breakfast is the way to go here. My daughter ordered french toast and really enjoyed it. I saw the pancakes and they looked so fluffy and yummy. I ordered panini. The flavor was good. My side salad could have been fresher.

It was time for us to change venue for a breakfast place. And this Old town cafe was the first in the list. Went there after our church time, and there was two tables left vacant. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla. We also had chicken fried steak and grilled cheese. We all love our food we ordered. Their prices are very reasonable. The place is quite cozy and they also have outdoor seatings. Restrooms were very clean. The only thing i would take out some stars is the service. It took them quite sometime to notice that they have not given us cutlery. I noticed the waitresses have asked other tables if they needed anything else, while they have ignored our table. Ive also requested extra pico de gallo for my quesadilla, but it took almost half an hour to serve it. By then i lost my appetite leaving 2 pieces. Our server cassandra, but i dont know which one since there were two of them came to our table. This other lady serving our food, instead of placing our food to whoever ordered it infront of us. She just set it in between two patrons. She should know how to serve the plates to whoever ordered it. This is something that management should look into..
Located in the heart of old town on Ventura Blvd in Camarillo. The service was amazing. Outside seating is available and you have to park on the street. Our waiter was so fast and attentive. The food was decent. We ordered a cheeseburger for my kids . My wife ordered a Panini and I had the chicken fried steak.

I really like Old Town Cafe but Sunday we did not have a great experience. I’m not sure if there is a new cook or manager or maybe it was just a bad day. We had 3 people in our party and all of our food came out at different times and even the order itself per person came out at different times. My mom ordered a Belgian waffle with egg and sausage. The waffles came first and then 20 mins later the egg and sausage. My order was the same by the time my fries came to the table I had already eaten my sandwich. Very disappointing.

Service was nice and place was clean but the only thing available was fruit, bread and eggs for the whole menu today. Which was a super big bummer we wanted more meat and breakfast food. Seating was also limited they do have outside seating but it’s tight. All members and staff were very nice and respectfully. But probably won’t be back, if you are in the area give it a try. Hopefully you’re able to try the great food there.

I was in a hurry on a Sunday morning before work and called this restaurant for a to-go order. I ordered the sunrise and added cheese. They told me the food was going to be ready pretty quick which was what I was looking for. I arrived and waited in line to get my order. The server behind the counter helped all 3 people in front of me but when it was my turn she suddenly had to make drinks. I figured I will just wait. She did acknowledge me but was very focused on her making her drink. After a few minutes, someone who worked in the kitchen came out to write an order on one of the to-go box. She did so very slowly. When she turned around with the box to face me, I saw that it was my food. I was very glad it was already done, but I was also very distracted by needing to be back outside asap to be in touch with the person driving me. I was charged an extra $1.25 for cheese even though the person over the phone never mentioned it to me. Granted, I understand, but I would have appreciated a heads up. Frustrated by the overall experience, I just got a refund instead of having any of the food.
