There is something so "down home" and charming about this place; it's irresistible. You'll feel like you are welcomed into grandma's country kitchen and she's about to whip you up something delicious. And, so far, everything I've tried off the menu is simply delicious. I would especially recommend the grilled fish. So yummy!

Excellent food. Organic peach and ginger iced tea was super refreshing. Great light flavors. My meal was very good. All fresh ingredients. Nice staff. Very busy, popular lunch spot.

Amazing food and great staff. A center piece of the area. Very decent selection of craft beer. Desserts are to die for. It's at the higher end of what I am willing to pay for dinner, but worth every penny.

We were in the area and wanted to try somewhere local. Madison Bistro didn't disappoint. What a lovely place. Felt very intimate inside with how small and cozy it was. Staff was friendly and the food quality and portions were excellent. We will be back in the area next year and will definitely stop in again!!!

EXCELLENT food and very friendly service! I wish I could remember the waitress' name, she was absolutely delightful and so kind and helpful. The Elvis Burger is the best thing you'll ever eat! We will be back!

My partner had a very rich and creamy potato and ham soup and the Gavel sandwich, all of which he devoured. I had a small side salad with Omas Pot Roast, and it was absolutely delish! We shared a slice of the Blueberry Almond cake and that was divine. They sell dog bones too, so my pups loves them just as much. In the past I have had The Elvis burger and my partner had the Reuben, both of which were good. The service was great and we will keep coming back!!

Madison Bistro is by far the most amazingly wonderful and delightful little restaurant I've ever been to! Everytime I go, the owner greets me with a smile and provides not only the best customer service but the food.... INCREDIBLE! Locally purchased or grown on site and all made in house, couldn't ask for a better home cooked meal if I made it myself. Highly recommend beyond words!!!

Recently moved to the area and decided to try out new places. No need for me to try other places because this is my new favorite dinner place! Jackie was absolutely fantastic !! The French flies were so fresh and the mac and cheese is my dream comfort food! Amazing !

I had the fish fry , homemade fries, and baked beans with cornbread everything was perfect and the fish was fresh and flaky and juicy, the baked beans were the best I ever had , homemade fries were cooked perfectly, and cornbread was Little dry and dense but really good,! I would say the best fish fry I ever had. It felt just like I was eating at home, I would highly recommend eating here when in town or just make it a Friday tradition. I would definitely come back the service was wonderful.

The food was excellent, you can tell it's homemade, my pot roast sandwich was incredibly tender and flavorful! We grabbed a quick lunch, staff were attentive and friendly, and they have both indoor and outdoor dining. We were too full for dessert so will have to save room next time!

Super cute bistro with a nice country feel, excellent food, and very friendly staff. They even went above and beyond for us. It seems that they really value their reputation and their service proves it. We had a great experience and would love to come here again. They're big on the farm to table thing which is awesome. Higher quality food! Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I stopped off here during a trip and everything was phenomenal. The farm to table showed strong, especially in my salad. Greens were beautiful, strawberries as well. Chicken was great. Girlfriend's reuben was delicious as well. And the service was wonderful, very nice and you felt right at home.

Cozy, casual dining room. Friendly and accommodating waitstaff. The fries were very good. Portion size is definitely worth the price. I had the fried haddock which was fresh, tender and tasty.

We're an English family on a road trip round New England and selected Madison Bistro for dinner based on its excellent Google review rating. We were not disappointed. This is an unpretentious dîner serving excellent food. From the outset our waitress Jackie made us feel very welcome, particularly our 3 year old granddaughter, and helped explain the menu. The kitchen then delivered the best meal we have so far tasted on the trip so far. The Elvis burger, the brisket with homemade corn bread and the Cuban panini were so succulent and flavoursome. Good beer to wash it down. Farm to table; table to soul: their mantra says it all.

Our first time eating here tonight and we can't say enough about the absolutely delicious food. I had the eggplant wrap and my husband had the beer battered haddock. Hand cut fries and the coleslaw was the best he has EVER had. Our waiter who was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable of what he was serving. He surprised us with a side of mac and cheese as I told him that I loved it. That was delicious. Too full for dessert but we grabbed one to go and share in the evening. Almond crumb cake loaded with blueberries and blackberries. To go containers were not your typical styrofoam.. it was recycled bamboo ! This place has great vegetarian options which I loved. Will definitely go again and again!

We are camping in our 5th wheel home in the area and took a drive. Saw this bistro and pulled in. Table dining is outside for the present time. I ordered the half order Greek Salad- comes with chicken, roasted red peppers, wonderfully fresh greens and lots of olives. The dressing was very excellent. I had enough to take home and enjoy for dinner! I highly recommend. Husband had the Cuban sandwich with Mac and cheese His disappeared but I had some of the mac n cheese-so very good. The topper was the blackberry/blueberry/pecan cake-just to die for!!!We shared a piece, but next time I’m getting my own 😊 I saw it pictured on their web page with all the other luscious deserts. Highly recommend this place.

I've loved this place since it was "Bub's Sub's" (we're talking like a decade here). Always been fresh, delicious food. Consistently. Including an absolutely unbeatable BLT. If you get the chance, stop, you're welcome in advance. I would most definitely consider them for catering or party platters too.

Absolutely excellent online ordering system and customer service! The food was delicious - everything was so extremely fresh - and my order was ready earlier than expected! The prices are not bad at all for the quality of the food you receive and I’d rather spend my money to support our local small businesses. You’ve got a long term customer!

I love this place! The food is great especially the Cuban which is my favorite regular menu item and is amazing. They make their own homemade potato chips which are fantastic. Also the mac & cheese is a must have. Beyond that, one the weekly specials usually have my star pick of the week which typically is something that involves salmon, brisket, or ribs. They use locally sourced products which is perfect if you're like me, a consumer who tries to buy local whenever possible. I always feel at home as the entire staff is always warm and welcoming. Still the best restaurant in the area!

Staff is wonderful remembered my in-laws frequent the restaurant and not just them.. they remembered more than half of thr people who came through the door. Food was delicious! So fresh and perfectly balanced flavors. Classics done right. New fave food in the area.

The dining area was remodeled and upgraded from the last time we ate there, it was busy, but the food was served relatively quickly and hot. The leftovers were enjoyed(!) the next day.

It was worth the trip. Passing through on I90 stayed at a basic motel. Found this place for dinner. Farm to table is their mantra and we found the food to be very good. Make no mistake this isn't some high end establishment. But the server was extremely friendly, provided great service and interacted with the locals and us just the same. The locals were having real conversations in rural America and that was entertaining enough. Food: salad was crisp and fresh. The grilled cheese was on farm fresh thick grilled bread with lots of cheese. The chicken pot pie was loaded with chicken. The beer was cold. Homemade cookies for dessert. Negative: it was expensive... but with covid ... I would pay the price again. After dinner walk across the street to the war memorial. It is worth 15 minutes of your time. Recommended.

The service here is absolutely amazing, not a huge space but very comfortable. The food was excellent and the price was very reasonable. I got the Elvis burger and it might have been one of the best burgers in my life, great quality ingredients with amazing food and service. It really doesn't get any better than that. I highly recommend dining at the Madison Bistro

Happened upon this place as a quick meal stop close to the thruway. Wife got soup and a wrap, kid got some Mac n cheese, also added a Texan burger. Everything was excellent! If I lived close to here it would be a weekly go to.

Went upstate to Turning Stone. Was looking for a diner or small business for lunch. Found this gem. I had the chicken panini, the best I have had in a while, and my partner had a burger with fries. We left there very satisfied with the quality, quantity, and taste of the sandwiches. The waitress was friendly and efficient. A new stop for when we are up there as there are more items on that menu that we need to try!

The brisket... Left me speechless. Order brisket or order brisket on a burger, you can't go wrong. Very friendly service. The owner went over the moon and back with his service. I will be back soon!

Since we found the place we visit frequently. We appreciate the cleanliness and casual atmosphere as well as the warm welcome and service by the team. Soups are delicious. Our favorites are pot roast and pulled pork and in case there is space left, a dessert is a must. Thank you!

I moved to Upstate from the South. As you can imagine, pulled pork or brisket are tough to come by, let alone taste great. I went with the Cuban today and could've melted in my chair it was so damn good. Too often the pulled pork is dry. This either had or absorbed the pickle/ground mustard combo. The fries are like hand cut steak fries. Anyway, if passing through or looking somewhere to go. STOP HERE.

Little on the pricey side but you'll have that when you get great food, generous portions, superb service, a cloth napkin and are supporting your local community. Although I didn't get a burger, they claim they are award winners and I believe it. I will definitely be back to taste the burgers. They source produce from local farms as much as possible. Provide a clean, classy sit down establishment. Try them when you're going to the DMV, court or just driving through. Well worth the try.

We were visiting family in Buffalo and stopped here on the way back because it's the halfway point to home. I'm glad we did! I had the gavel sandwich and my fiancee had a pulled pork sandwich. Both were excellent. The people were nice too and the prices were good.

We went on a Monday afternoon and the entire place was full BUT the service was still excellent. It was our first visit and we were not disappointed. The wait staff was wonderful, we’d sat outside- the service was fast and friendly. We’d ordered the shaved steak panini and the eggplant wrap. Portions were heaping, delicious and fresh. We grabbed a few items for dessert to go, a lemon raspberry bar/chocolate brownie with chocolate hazelnut frosting-which were also rich, soft and tasty. So much better than fast food, doesn’t cost so much more that it’s not worth it especially given the serving size.

First: I was so pleased with the glass of local white wine after a long day traveling! It paired perfectly with the delicious strawberry, pecan and blue cheese salad. Super savory house made veggie burger and sweet potatoes fries were also totally delish. Big portions, reasonably priced, nice atmosphere, low key attitude, easy location and parking. Wish I'd had room for dessert as the baked goods looked amazing as well.

Had friends visiting fro. Rochester. Looked this place up online. Looked very good. It did not disappoint. Food was prepared well and tasted even better. Portion size was great. I had the Texas burger. It was about 6 inches tall. The burger and brisket were fantastic! BBQ sauce was very good too. Hand cut fries were great. One friend had a gried haddock sandwich. Good sized fish dwarfed the roll. Large pile of fries. He said it was very good. My other friend had the pot roast sandwich. It looked awesome and my friend said it was great tasting and tender. Went off hours, which was good because we had the place all to ourselves. Small dining area which I could see getting packed early. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be going again!

K

Great staff, waitress was lovely and never let our drinks get low. Kinda on the pricier side but that's to be expected from a farm to table restaurant. All in house homemade food, right down to their chips. Unique menu.. I had the Cuban panini, check it out, it was delicious. My daughter had fresh battered and fried chicken tenders. They were juicy and flavorful. Will go again.

We stopped with 4 kids while traveling through the area. I was slightly worried about bringing 4 kids to (any) restaurant, but Madison Bistro proved a perfect choice. We sat outside, service was quick and friendly, food was top notch!! Jackie was so sweet and accomodating. Great hospitality. Great food. Great service. I would absolutely go back and recommend to anyone.

Went for lunch. Was take-out only (one day only for upgrades) so I didn’t see inside but from other reviews it seems fine. Food was amazing. I got the the Gavel (steak, onions and bacon) comes with cheese but I declined. Also includes a side, I’m diabetic so I took fries for the dog (side could be fries or Mac n cheese). I normally put ketchup or at least salt/pepper on my sandwiches and I didn’t need a thing. It was perfect. No complaints about the food. My wife had the Reuben, side of Mac and cheese. She loved it and also had no complaints. 2 lemonades and both sandwiches was $31 and some change, I think that’s my only gripe is the price HOWEVER they use farm fresh ingredients, it’s scratch stuff, local, so as much as I’d want to gripe about it, i can’t because it’s a local business and they’re doing it all right. Starting small and working their way up. I’ll def be back and referring people. Both pictures are of sandwiches half eaten, portions are great.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the BBQ sandwich at Madison Bistro and I must say it was absolutely delicious. I was surprise never thought I could find a sandwich this good in Central NY, a masterpiece of flavors and textures great balance of sweetness and smokiness, therefore congrats to the pit master Victor. Service was prompt and friendly.if you are looking for a good BBQ I highly recommend to give this pulled pork sandwich a try, you’ll leave with smile on your face. Overall great experience PS I love lettuce and tomato it was extra for me but worth it.

We had dinner here- plenty of food and great service. I didn’t eat much simply because of a smaller appetite in the warmer weather. Our waitress who was incredibly busy took extra care to make sure there wasn’t an issue with the meal and when we checked out she gave me a dessert as a courtesy which was a sweet and unanticipated kindness. Thank you!

We live in Fulton and went to Oneida to a Estate sale, then wanted to grab some lunch after and stumbled across this place! This is my 63rd trip around the sun and I ordered the Texas Burger and that was, without a doubt the BEST BURGER I'VE EVER HAD! Extremely friendly and courteous staff! We will definitely drive the 50 miles ago to eat at this establishment AGAIN !-!-!

A gem in Wampsville. If I need to go to the DMV, I drive an extra 15 minutes to Madison. Best DMV in the area and the Bistro is one of my favorite places to eat within a 50 mile radius. On the last trip, the DMV let me down. But the Bistro didn't. The only good news is that I have to go back to the DMV. And that's good news because I will get to eat at the Bistro again. On our last visit, we enjoyed the baked haddock and a perfectly cooked, albeit a tad too salty, steak. Oh, and the seafood chowder! It was amazing.

In Verona for a tournament and by day three we were desperate for something non-processed, non-fried, and tasty. Looked up 'restaurants near me' and Madison Bistro came up with a great rating and great reviews. No one lied. We ordered a halibut sandwch special, with mac and cheese, brisket sandwich and fries, and a side Caesar. The brisket sandwich was really good - tender and tasty, and while the Caesar was a bit non-traditional (tomatoes and red onion), it was tasty and fresh. The mac and cheese was really good - super cheesy-filled shells that were the perfect comfort food on a dreary, rainy afternoon. And the halibut? So delicious! Fresh, moist, crisp coating but tender inside. The bread tasted home-made (I admit to not eating all of the bread because I wanted to be sure I could finish the fish) and, like everything we ate, was fresh. The serving sizes were huge - even peolle who would normally easily clear their plate would definitely be stuffed. The price was beyond reasonable, especially for the quality of the food we received. Our waitress was great - friendly, informative, attentive without being intrusive. Overall it was a great experience. If we're ever back nearby, we will definitely stop in again.

UPDATE: 8/29/25 We came back for a late lunch on our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The seafood chowder rivals some of the best chowders we’ve had in Cape Cod. Rich, hearty and delicious. Our server said the bowl was big and no lie! That would be a meal in itself. My husband had the Elvis Burger and I had the Brisket. My brisket was very tender, no knife needed. The meat was flavorful and the BBQ paired well with the well seasoned brisket. The fries here are awesome and they are the one place in Central New York that actually knows how to make good coleslaw. No room for dessert and there is no need for dinner now! We’re full! Another great experience, well worth the drive and the price paid. Definitely one of the many gems in Madison County! Nice atmosphere and the weather was beautiful, so we sat outside. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious … I ordered the Texas Burger with fries and my husband had the Cowboy Burger. Both burgers cooked to order and the fries were great too. Very glad we made the drive out to try it.

First time coming to the Bistro. My husband was in the hospital and was craving a fish fry. Some of the nurses recommended this place. We were not disappointed. The fish was extremely fresh. The fries were huge fresh cut fries and the coleslaw and cornbread were delicious. We will definitely be back. Oh, and the employees were very friendly.

This place had amazing food! I had the Reuben with a side salad- it was delicious! One friend had the eggplant wrap, which she loved. Another friend commented that her veggie burger was the best she’d ever had! The chicken fingers and Mac ‘n cheese also got a thumbs up. Finally, another friend had the “Elvis burger” (we all helped him eat the yummy fried onions on top!). All this with a round of cold beers 😋🤤

Madison Bistro – Fresh, Friendly, and Full of Flavor Madison Bistro is a charming farm-to-table spot that delivers on freshness, flavor, and service. Our visit started with a zucchini gazpacho (cold soup) that was light, refreshing, and full of taste, an excellent way to open the meal. The salad, while simple, was generously portioned and exceptionally fresh, which is exactly what you hope for from a place focused on local ingredients. Service was outstanding. Our group of five was seated quickly, and everything from drinks to entrées arrived without delay. The staff was genuinely friendly and in great spirits, which says a lot about how well this place is run. I ordered the strip steak, which comes with a salad and a side for $29. The portion was moderate, but the quality more than made up for it. Cooked to absolute perfection, the steak was rich with flavor, likely thanks to a rosemary butter basting that elevated every bite. I also sampled the mac and cheese, served in a soft shell, comforting and creamy, though it could have used just a pinch more salt (an easy fix). The zucchini side, sliced and sautéed in olive oil, was fresh and delicate, though also a touch under-seasoned. Overall, Madison Bistro offers a relaxed dining experience with high-quality, farm-fresh food and excellent service. It’s the kind of small restaurant that leaves you feeling satisfied and well taken care of. Definitely worth a visit, especially since it’s only about 10 minutes from Turning Stone Casino.

I’ve been here many times, including last night with 2 out of town family members who were road weary after a long day in the car on a 90 degree day (and a dog.) We got there a little after 7 (they close at 8) and sat outside. We were talking and weren’t ready to order for probably 15 mins. They were incredibly kind, brought out water with lemon for all of us including the dog, and gave her a bone. I ordered the brisket melt and fries, and my family ordered the brisket plate and grilled chicken wrap. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. It was the perfect atmosphere for talking and catching up. We finished our food but stayed at the table talking until 9pm (I realize this is annoying and I apologize), however they were gracious and probably realized we hadn’t seen each other for a long time. They filled a container of ice for my family member and gave us ice water to go. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

What a great dinner we had! I had the steak, and my friend had the chicken pot pie. Salad was fresh and interesting, and both main dishes were mouth-watering and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was friendly and so accommodating, and the service was super-fast. It's always a treat to find truly fresh food in a rural setting. Highly recommend. :-)

What a great find ! Quiet casual atmosphere, with great food. The menu has lots of home cooking favorites to choose from. The burgers are amazing looking and based on what I saw, they are very popular. Almost every table had someone enjoying one in their group. They guy next to me had one version of their burger that arrived and was 9" high on his plate and when he was done I asked how it was, he said "amazing " I had the pot roast and that was a treat. Huge chunks of super tender beef in a rich gravy with carrots etc. piled high over a creamy mashed potato. Really a well made dish. My friend had a burger, she said was delicious. ⚠️ When you walk in the desert display is filled with lots of very tempting choices. They are just as good as they look. The chocolate chip cookies are so good. Our waitress was so friendly and quick. Everything about this place works and we will seek it out again. I want a burger next time! Ps had a side of Mac and cheese that knocked my socks off. If you like a casual American fare, with home style flavors you will not be disappointed going here. Not a big place maybe 10 or 12 tables. Some tables outside also. Parking was easy,

What a gem! Was heading from Rome to Syracuse for a show, and made a plan to stop by for an early dinner...glad we did! This place has won awards for their burgers, and I can taste why... I had the Cowboy Burger - bacon, onion/bacon jam, and potato strings - voted a top ten burger in 2022...let me tell you, this was incredible! The beef was fresh and cooked perfectly, the onion bacon jam was slightly sweet and smoky, and the slices of bacon were, well, bacon...good with everything! But truthfully the addition of the potato strings put it over the top. These crispy, super thin fried potatoes gave the burger such an amazing texture contrast...just amazing! My wife had the JJ Burger, which is Mac n cheese on the burger...I tasted the Mac, and it was rich and creamy - definitely homemade. The French fries were also homemade...they did not come out of a bag frozen and dropped in the oil. These are not fast food fries..but they are the perfect middle ground of crisp and potato-ey. Lastly, I will say it's a pricier burger, but it's excellent quality food, and a lot of it. I have no issue with the price whatsoever for food of this quality...worth it for sure. It's a smaller place, and I can picture it packed for lunch with the municipal building complex that surrounds the area. It was clean and humble, and it's clear they know what they are doing. The waitress was efficient and nice...brought me a refill before I asked...very attentive. In short, great food...I wish I lived closer...but we'll be back for sure!

We enjoyed our meal once we figured out where to park. Because the restaurant put several planters in the parking spots in front of the restaurant and some patrons were seated on the small sidewalk outside, it was a little puzzling as to where to park. Once inside, the atmosphere was warm and friendly with eclectic wall art. My hubs had a salad, my son enjoyed mac & cheese and a chicken sandwich. I had a reuben sandwich with homemade chips, which were very very crispy. I've had better, less soggy sandwiches but this was tasty. Afterward, we were all so full that we couldn't even look at the front case full of desserts.

I enjoy my visit to Madison Bistro. It is a pretty neat local place with "regulars" - I could tell by the way the staff bantered and cared for some of the customers. It felt like I visited my local diner in lancaster PA. I had the Gavel, a sliced hot beef sandwich with there homemade chips. It was very good. My waitress was good, however it seemed like a long time between brining my food and coming back to see it I needed anything - I wanted a side of their special sauce to add to my sandwich. Overall I enjoyed my visit and I would go back in a heart beat.

I really enjoyed this place. The pictures on the wall were fun and historical. The food was good and plentiful. My husband got a Cobb salad and it was huge. I got a great burger that was so huge I had a hard time biting into it. I would definitely stop there again.

We stopped for lunch while passing through on a road trip. What an impressive little spot! We shared the cheeseburger and the pot roast sandwich and they were both so great! The server was very kind and attentive. I would definitely come back if in the area again.

Amazing service, the waitress was so welcoming, so kind. This is a must try place, I was a little nervous on the prices but you get amazing quality food, and a big portion. Everything tasted fresh. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, service and food. The Elvis burger, the Texas burger and the JJ burger with homemade Mac and cheese ( to die for )

Nice, quaint place. Fast friendly service. Decent size portions, good food. Super cheesy mac and cheese. Baked beans excellent. Suggestion: offer both a bowl and cup of the baked beans and price accordingly. Glad to see you're still going strong!

Was in the area and stopped for dinner. There were so many choices on the menu that sounded good I was sad I could only pick one. Got a burger and and it was good, but not knock your socks off. I really liked the fries. Would 100% come back if we're nearby again down the road.

The food was good once they actually put my order. I ordered online and when I went to go pick it up they said the order didn't go through, but they got it done quickly. The chips that came with my sandwich were really hard and cut my gums.

Only 4 stars because it was our first visit. Service was awesome. Atmosphere was pleasant and comfortably welcoming. Cranberry Cider libation I had was very refreshing and accompanied my haddock sandwich perfectly. We took pastries home and they were absolutely amazing. This was the first place we stopped on our visit to upstate. Set the tone for a very nice visit. Ooooooh and get the haddock sandwich ITS BANGIN. ASK FOR EXTRA Tartar SAUCE !!!!!!!!!

A very nice place to eat, food is usually good we had a hamburger and the steak sandwich both were good though the onion straws they use on the burger were tasteless and over used and for the desserts which are usually excellent my chocolate cake was stale

Awesome steak. Really nice staff. Only thing is though I ordered steak with fries and they gave me mashed potatoes. Easy fix though, they gave me the fries. Make sure you taste your food before you add salt. My food came salty.

This is a cute little restaurant. The waitress that served us was very friendly and quick. The food didn't take long to come out, it was pretty good. The pile of onion fries was a bit excessive, but it was a decent burger.

Everyone I talk to raves about MB. We've been twice now and I'm not experiencing the wow. We diner in, so maybe that's a difference. Food is fresh, my chowder was lukewarm, price is a little high, but we usually leave with leftovers. Mostly because I want to take it home and heat it up. Service is great. Atmosphere is pleasant. I like that the menu isn't exhaustive. That means they can really excel in what they do have. I just haven't been that impressed. However, I have yet to eat a pastry there that I don't enjoy. They're large, expensive, and good.

They were very busy but the menu could explain more. The beans are really good but you should print they have whiskey in them. Gluten free options extremely limited, tried a sandwich with no bread but it was barely warm and missing the cheese so the melty cheese experience wasn't there. Left hungry and felt I paid to much for what I received.

Very nice atmosphere and clean. Server was polite and attentive. Hamburger was good (nothing special) but at least not frozen. Eggplant wrap was the most bland meal I think I've ever had. Both of our french fries were soggy. It didn't add up to a $28 lunch for me.

A good burger and fries. Service good. Diner atmosphere. Would recommend for a quick bite.

Has potential. Nice idea, from local sources, but small refinements will boost it from middle-of-the-road. For example: Slice the beef evenly for sandwhiches. Texture really matters. Homemade thick-sliced chips are challenging: if too thick and fried moments too long turn them brown and hard. Same for the really thick fries. Recommend offering both with blue cheese melted on top, or serve with sauce. The horseradish mayonnaise could be great, but also had very little horseradish zing. Service seemed slow for a Saturday afternoon. Continue to build-out the decor and lighting. Swap out tables and chairs eventually for farm-feel. Fun: We noticed the gargantuan-size utensils on the wall which reminded some people of Sims. Good start, keep going! Especially considering the lakeside places close in the offseason and don't even bother to update their listings, give you a leg up for hungry visitors. : )

I ordered the chicken pot pie . It was not in a crust like expected had puff pastry in the middle that was hard and not appetizing. This meal was a disappointment at 25 dollars. I called this establishment made no effort to replace the meal with something more edible. Not worth the money I basically ate gravy with pieces of chicken.

We chose this restaurant specifically because of all the glowing reviews, so we walked in with high expectations. I’m honestly a bit confused by our visit, because our experience unfortunately didn't align with the restaurant's great reputation. Maybe we just caught them on an off day. We ordered both The Texan and The Elvis burgers and requested them medium. Both of them arrived very well done and were, therefore, quite dry. The fries that accompanied them were also a bit of a letdown. Given the high praise and the $20 price tag per burger, we were definitely anticipating a better meal. I wanted to love it, but based on this visit, I can't say it lived up to the hype.

Given the reviews, our expectations were very high… however, we never expected it would ever be as bad as it was. We ordered the Elvis and the Cowboy burgers, both medium RARE. The Cowboy was medium well, at best. The Elvis was literally bone dry well done!!! In addition, the steak fries, which looked absolutely amazing, clearly had been under the lights for a long period of time. They were dry, and lukewarm at best. Maybe we visited on a bad night, it was a Tuesday, but we will never return.
