Avis sur Tacos Moreno Capitola
We absolutely love this establishment! Some of the best burritos and tacos ever! Family run and great customer relations. You cant beat the salsa, always consistent! A must stop if your in the neighborhood or get it to go!
Our family came in here after being poorly treated by staff at Zelda's (restaurant beside Tacos Moreno). The guy at the front welcomed us, and served us the most delicious mexican food I've ever had. He was even nice enough to let my younger siblings eat pizza from a different store because they're picky eaters.Their Taco salad is so good. I wished they had more seating to accommodate the many customers wanting to eat here. If you happen to be in the area, I highly recommend eating here with your family.
Once they’re on a late date on a Sunday with my girlfriend had a little seat on the beach had some nachos and street tacos very delicious. Great service highly recommend.
Well worth a visit. Would without doubt be a favorite if we lived nearby. We had carnitas taco salads, beef nachos and a carnitas flour tortilla. All very tasty and good portions for the price.
A good experience every time with service you can count on! Tacos Morenos is one of the go-to taquerias in Santa Cruz, whether it be the Capitola location or Water Street in Santa Cruz. I highly recommend trying it out if you haven’t already. It is cash only, but no need to line your pockets too much. The food is affordable and you get a nice portion.

Favorite burritos with lots of cabbage and no rice! My favorite is the regular Asada add cheese with a Negra Modelo to wash it down.
This place is easily has some of the best burritos I've ever eaten to the point where I came back multiple times just to taste it again while on vacation.
Wonderful owners. Delicious and fresh food. Would absolutely come here again.
The Al Pastor was dry, I like it aged and dry, not sweet. The tacos were large and with thinly sliced fresh cabbage, tomatoes and beans. The waitstaff was excellent and the chair was comfortable. I am disappointed they didn’t have taquitos and I did not see sides of rice and beans offered on the menu. 😀
Breakfast burrito was probably the best I've had in town (and wait much shorter than The Point Market). Their hot sauce is super good too! Staff was super nice and let me get one after breakfast hours
My favorite place to eat in Santa Cruz. Their tortillas are amazingly buttery and soft, but the real magic is the salsa in squeeze bottles. It's a little vinegary and a little smokey flavored, and it's my very favorite. I pour a new coating of salsa onto every bite of my carnitas burrito.
This place so far it's the best. Their burritos are outstanding and very big and really stuffed .
best vegetarian mexican food in all of santa cruz! I order the corn quesadilla without meat, it comes like a crispy taco with cheese and beans and it is amazingggg!!!

The best chips in the world! Homemade, crispy and homemade! The service is the best and parking a breeze! The chili verde melts in your mouth! Don’t waste your time at any other Taco Moreno this one on 41st is the BEST!

Andy's quesadilla was good, and my tacos were okay. This place only accepts cash.
Ordered a pastor corn quesadilla, which was very good. Super tasty pastor and not dripping with grease. My husband ordered a regular carnitas burrito, which was a bit dry. He needed to add some of their tasty salsa every few bites. Cash only, no complimentary chips.

I’ve been here several times and love the taco salad. Mixed results with the nachos and tacos (they were good, just not consistent). My experience has been better at lunch than at dinner, but overall it’s a good place for good food at a good price and great salsa!
Subpar tacos, nachos and quesadillas. Tried the veggie quesadilla and nachos. Nachos were the only saving grace. The chicken burrito was not at all worth the price paid. Will definitely not be coming back here.

Recommended by a local which usually works out to be a some good eating food especially when your looking for a hole in the wall taco place (these tend to be great places to find tacos) however I was disappointed when my tacos arrived. I ordered a fish taco and a Carne Asade supreme taco. The fish in the fish taco is breaded I prefer a seasoned fish non breaded but was open to try it however unfortunately it didn't have enough flavor along with an abundant amount of cabbage and onions which overpowered the rest of the taco to make it unenjoyable. The supreme taco is good typical guacamole and sour cream added to the original taco on the menu but nothing to write home about and pricy $7 beers. I will not be going back to this place and I love Mexican food however their tacos were subpar (too many fillers cabbage and onions) unlike the recommendation I received which is unfortunate. If your in town I would highly recommend looking around for another place to grab some tacos. Riva Fish House on the Wharf is a better bet if you like seasoned fish not breaded.
It was ok, I did appreciate that they let my doggie come in to have lunch with me , the food not to crazy about their meats are dry. Carnitas tacos, Al pastor.

Im latino and I ordered one burrito. The white couple behind me ordered the same thing!!!! They got their food first😂 interesting. i’m not saying the race is a factor but I honestly wonder why they got their food first if I ordered first and we got the same thing.. a Breakfast burrito.
They prioritize white people Orders first. I love all races, but it feels weird to prior somebody that ordered after me the same thing a breakfast burrito.
