You can certainly go to some big bagel chain. But, if you want a delicious locally made bagel from a mom and pop bagel shop then you need to visit Garden State Bagels. So many bagel styles to choose from. You may want to visit early as there is big demand for them.

What a great bagel shop!. Mike was so friendly and the sandwiches were enjoyed by everyone. The best bagels I've had in a very long time. It was also very nice chatting with a fellow New Yorker 😁. Definitely worth you stopping in for bagel and great service. Enjoy!

This place is delish! My hubs and I have had their breakfast sandwich bagels and bagels with cream cheese. All have been really great. The bagels are soft and very similar to east coast bagels. The cream cheese was awesome with fresh chive onions mixed in. The coffee was good. The eggs on the breakfast sandwich were not made to order but they tasted good and kept the line moving fast. We will definitely keep going!! Love this place!

I’ve been going to this bagel store for the last six years and it’s been consistent every time! The girls behind the counter are always very fast preparing my breakfast and they’re always happy to see me! The service is absolutely outstanding. I recommend this bagel place to any bagel connoisseurs in the area like myself!

My husband and I eat here regularly. We love the bagels, the price, and the service. The woman remembers us & our order every time we go and is very friendly to us. It’s busy on weekend mornings, FYI, but they move through the line at a solid pace.

Delicious bagels and a large variety. Owner is super friendly and they are quick at getting your order made. Went twice while we were there for two days because we liked it so much the first day. Average prices, not bad at all.

OMG. The best bagels I've ever had. The French Toast bagel was incredible with Strawberry cream cheese. The Combo bagel, most popular, was gifted to us by the shop. Nice people, fantastic bagels, makes Einstein look average. We loved the place ! Also, the Asiago Cheese bagel with Strawberry cream cheese was fantastic.

Best bagels around very little wait time. Sure, you must get out of your car. But, the bagels are great. Get there early in the morning because they run out. This is a little tiny place. I like the Everything Bagel toasted with Salmon creme cheese.

The bagels here are AMAZING ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My all time favorite is the spinach and Swiss bagel with egg, sausage and cheddar cheese. I have also tried other bagels with cream cheese and bagel with their tuna salad. All delicious, no complaints. The staff is friendly and very quick. They have fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee and other drinks.

Great bagels! They have a big selection, from jalepeno to french toast bagels. They also have different types of cream cheese. I got a Spinach Swiss bagel with chive cream cheese and some coffee, they had 4 different roasts. I was amazed at the service. within the 5 minutes of being there 5 customers were served quickly and pleasantly and there were only two employees!

I got their swizz cheese and spinach bagel breakfast sandwich with egg cheese and bacon. The customer service was not good. No Welcome, no Hello or thank you from what I could remember. The lady on the pos was just taking payment she couldn’t even put napkins in my bag. I’m not saying give me great customer service but at least do the basic things customers expect. I’m willing to try this place again in hopes I get better service next time. The cleanliness of where the bagels were is good but other places in the shop seem dirty. This is between a 2-3 star.

The girl working (white hair) there did not seem like she wanted to be there at all. It showed in the fact that I got pretty much no cream cheese on my bagel, and her attitude at check out. they need to do some remedial customer service education. Bagels are fine. Disappointing overall experience really.

The food I ordered was about as good as any other bagel place but the service of the employee at the counter was unprofessional and needs to be addressed. Maybe it is just me but it seems unsanitary and unprofessional to have an AirPod in while making someone’s food. Also when there was a miscommunication with my order she proceeded to slam shut microwave doors and toss bagels onto the cutting board.

Really filthy looking inside. Bagel "sandwich" is $9.... but if you want egg in your breakfast "sandwich" it's extra. I ended up leaving without getting anything

There is a trend happening in the restaurant/food industry that turns my stomach and it happened here at Garden State bagel. I bought a ham, egg and cheese bagel yesterday and the total was $8.91. I used my debit card to pay. The sandwich was just ok, pretty bland but it was fine. Over night I received an email from my bank stating my purchase at GS Bagel was settled at $11.58. This means that an employee at the store added a $2.50 tip which I DID NOT authorize. This happened to me about a month ago at a restaurant where my bill was about $20 and I wrote $5 tip. It settled over night for $70 meaning the waitress changed the $5 to $50. Since then, because the bank doesn’t consider it fraud, I was out an additional $45, I ALWAYS sign the bill now and if there’s an option for a tip I write CASH and the total is just for the cost of the food. I give cash tips now because this theft is happening to people everywhere !!! Here at GS I didn’t sign anything and my receipt says $8.91. I don’t mind spending money but I HATE BEING RIPPED OFF AND/OR STOLEN FROM. I hope the $2.50 was worth it because I know hundreds of ppl in this small town and I’m telling everyone I know that an employee here stole from me. I’ll NEVER go back so don’t spend it all in one place!

One star at best, mainly because they couldn't even fulfill a half dozen order.... Don't bother, save your time.
