Another example of the old saying "The Best Gifts Come In Small Packages!" This hidden gem won our Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary Club's 2025 "Pizza Taste-Off" award. We did blind taste testing of nine different Carlsbad pizzerias basic cheese pizzas in March of 2025. This little pie shop hidden a bit off State Street took top honors. Yes, we included some big shops too, Domino's and Round Table, but this place puts the right stuff together on the right crust and will see more of us!

Dropped in on a bike ride because steady state coffee line was out the door. I discovered their $5 lunch pizza special, it was tasty. A pizza was about the same price as a cookie next door. Also the Service was great.

And we've had pizza many times in Italy, NY, and Los Angeles. (Some say the best pizza is made in Japan but we haven't tried). We live about an hour away from Carlsbad and we stop by Paradise Pizza whenever we are in town. We've tried the Burrata (no longer on the menu), Margherita, and Veggie Delight. They were all so friggin' delicious! We are very impressed with the overall Carlsbad food scene. We have had the best meals in this beautiful city, including at Campfire. With Campfire and Paradise Pizza within an hour driving distance, we may stop our frequent foodie trips to Vegas, Paris, and Europe.

If you like pizza don’t skip this place most definitely stop it. The staff is really great and friendly. Most definitely won’t forget about paradise pizza

Merry Christmas Paradise pizza customers; the last time I came here I had a cheese Fresh, hat and everything I wanted. Today I’m gonna have a pizza & one of salads. I might change my mind by the time I get there but right now that’s what I’m assuming I’ll get.

I decided to try a new restaurant while I was visiting the area and this place did not disappoint. I don't know how long they've been in business, but I'm sad I only just found out about it. I got a large BBQ chicken pizza with some mozzarella sticks and everything came out very hot and very cheesy. I've been looking for great pizza places for a while, and this is the BEST BBQ chicken pizza i've ever had. Will definitely be coming back.

Ordered the 12" Mediterranean pizza. The menu said the pizza had roasted tomatoes, however, they forgot to put them on the pizza I ordered. That is a shame because it would have helped to cut this salt bomb that was overloaded with olives and feta cheese. It was so salty that I couldn't taste anything else.

I don’t mind waiting…. I just want an accurate time, so I don’t look like a jerk coming in too early… Placed at 6:26… “ready at 6:41”… got here at 6:50 was told another 15 minutes. This happened last night too… Food is amazing! 7:08… was told another 5 minutes. I’m done. Walked out.

I own 2 fine dining restaurants and we offer a $55 3 course dinner with ocean views. But it is ok to pay $90 for this trash?? My dogs ate the rest. They loved it. I’m tired of getting ripped off. Less than a one star ….our pizza was ordered well done . The crust was barely warm. I called to complain and the employee hung up on me. Poor attitude and poor quality….

We ordered a pizza from here via Postmates. Our pizza arrived and was the wrong pizza. After contacting the driver, he said that we need to call Paradise Pizza. My wife called and Paradise said that we needed to contact Postmates. If the driver goes into the establishment and asks for the order by name and the establishment gives the driver the wrong pizza, how is that the driver’s fault. Now we are stuck with no dinner and finger pointing. We live in Carlsbad and will no longer use Paradise Pizza. If you want to order pizza, Knockout and Cusimano’s is much better.
