I have been coming to this little gem for over 8 years now. It has been a place where I can come alone when I need some time to myself and also with friends and family. It's cozy and the most delicious breakfast food around. The Savory Sandwich has been my go-to. This time we are visiting and I got their set of 4 mugs. The 4 mugs have all the seasons on them. Super cute. It's nice to always come back and get the same excellent service and quality food!
Don't come here. Stay away and keep this gem hidden! This quaint little local restaurant is tucked away in Noank. The food is absolutely delicious and the coffee was not bad either. The decor still has that cozy dinner feeling. The locals are super friendly. You will probably have to wait for a seat, but check out the merchandise section and go home with a mug to remind you of this place. Not that you will forget! Close walk to water and a few historical buildings. Less than ten minutes away from Downtown Mystic, CT But, again, stay away so this spot doesn't get ruined. 🤭
Went for the first time to get ice cream but they seem to also serve beverages, baked goods and breakfast. The place is a nice retro building with the looks and feel of a mid-20th century diner. Staff was nice and friendly and they had a wide variety of ice cream. They have some outdoor seating as well as a park nearby with benches for enjoying your ice cream
A nice little shop with great food. Thank you And I'll definitely be back.
Great place all around! Not too crowded, clean, and very friendly staff. The food is amazing. Had the Irish Omelet just to try the corned beef, which came highly recommended. Corned beef was just the right amount of savory and amazingly tender. Would definitely recommend anyone to come down for any of meals.
Come here ready to eat! This local gem offers an excellent selection of classic sandwiches. It's a full dose of culinary Americana in the heart of beautiful Noank.
This was my first time at Carson's...I had heard about through word of mouth and was dying to try it! I was NOT disappointed. The food is amazing, as is the service and atmosphere. Ari was our server and she was as sweet as could be!
Best breakfast in the area! This cute little store front has you feeling like you’re back in the 50s. Counter service and three small booths. Breakfast lunch and ice cream is all they serve. Great small town feel as well. We love this place and will definitely be back! Highly recommend the smothered home fries.
Wonderful breakfast & lunch spot. The employees are very welcoming and very attentive. The food always comes out fresh, quickly and tasty.
I stopped in for breakfast one day. Ordered a mushroom and cheese omelet and the cornedbeef hash. This was some of the best corned beef hash and was loaded with shredded corned beef. So delicious!!
Carson's is a local Noank staple. Very good food. A small place with big charm. If you make time for Abbots on your visits to Mystic, then Carson's should be on your list too.
What a place! Very reasonably priced and massive portions. If you're anywhere in the area make sure you visit. There are a range of healthy options as well as bigger heartier ones. Add in bottomless coffee, friendly staff and a old style atmosphere; and you have a fantastic option for breakfast and lunch.
Delicious food, very friendly stuff , such a cute vibe from 1907 . They have cute magnets " There's no wifi , imagine you're in 1907 , talk to someone " lol we loved it !!
I loved their pancakes, Cornbread hash and SMOKED SALMON!! Yummy, Yummy breakfast, wonderful serving staff and cook! YUMMY
I loved the No Wifi sign! Food was lovely, plus the staff were all very friendly 😁. However, many customers had to wait for a while hence there weren't enough seats. I recommend getting there before 9 am!

I stopped into Carson’s Store on my last day in the area for breakfast. I had such a delightful meal! I had the sausage Boursin sandwich, which was absolutely delicious and something I’ve never had before. The menu has lots of choices with something for everyone, and the food was all fresh and prepared perfectly. I loved the atmosphere of being in an eatery from long ago. The service was friendly and my food was ready promptly. It’s the perfect place to visit if you’re looking for a quaint experience in Noank!
It was a $10 shake but looks like I better get used to it. Delicious chocolate shake made with Warwick ice cream which was a nice surprise. I would like one right now. Lol

Being that Noank is one of our favorite places, we have passed Carson’s a dozen times, always wanting to stop in for breakfast. On this cold and rainy Saturday, we finally did. The atmosphere was quaint but the food was not extraordinary. I must note that the serving of bacon was very generous and the bacon itself was delicious. The pancake was super fluffy but tasted average and the “smothered home fries” were a tad greasy for me. The servers were attentive but could have been a bit more friendly. We agreed that the atmosphere was very cozy and a cute place to stop in for ice cream.

I had an absolutely beautiful burger at Carson's (sarcasm) and the service is not professional at all, waiting time is forever

Horrible experience today. Server brought food that was not ordered and then forgot what I did order. Never came back to ask how the food was going or just checking in. Another server came over and gave us the bill( first time checking in) I mentioned that I never got part of my meal and they said “ oh sorry” then only took $1 off the price. When I mentioned this she told me thats all its worth even though that item is sold for $6 on the menu. They also lied and said we asked to not have this item. The last time I ever go here and the service is horrible typical college level servers that don’t care about the business but were on their phones instead of working.

Worst service I’ve ever had. They have you seat yourself but we waited for 25 minutes just to get menus, and we were sitting right in front of the registers. The waiters kept walking by, would quickly look at us then look away and keep going - wouldn’t say anything to us as if we were invisible. Both waiters took the walk ins and acted as if the customers who were dining in were not important. Food was ready for multiple tables and they just left it there - no heaters so food was getting cold. Multiple customers were upset by their service and several people gave up and ended up leaving after no waiter came to them, and some of these people were sitting at the counter. One guy called in an order but when he showed up they didn’t even have his order written down. Was so looking forward to this place per the other reviews but was sadly not impressed.
