I discovered this little gem while working in the area. It's truly beautiful in the summer... An ideal place for a great breakfast or a relaxing break. The welcome is excellent; we've brought disabled kids from the center where I work several times and they've been made very welcome, and that makes all the difference to me! "Every traveler has a place they return to." A place of memory, where I like to return once a year, whether alone or with friends. Next to the beautiful Castiglioni courtyard, this small osteria, which offers mostly bar service (cold dishes), is a little gem nestled in the Mantua countryside. Prices are moderate and service is attentive.

It's like being in another dimension. Back in time. There's no menu; you only get mixed cured meats, pickled vegetables, cracklings, and parmesan, all washed down with Lambrusco. The place is incredibly peaceful. The girls are very kind. I highly recommend it.

A very quaint place, the charcuterie platter is truly delicious, not to mention the wines!!! The staff is very friendly, and the clientele is also very welcoming. A must-stop here!

Caratteristico bar osteria immerso nel verde del pianura padana. La ragazza che gestisce è persona gentile e simpatica. Accanto da vedere, su appuntamento, Villa Castiglioni, tipica corte signorile del XVI sec se non sbaglio. Zona molto tranquilla

It's a leap back in time, a true osteria 🤩 Two very kind girls who welcome you warmly and always serve you with a smile. Groups of regulars playing cards and enjoying a classic coffee...in short, a magical place. We had a very tasty platter of cured meats. I'd say we'd gladly return. Long live the old, authentic osterias 😃😃😃😃

We stopped at this trattoria on the way out of Caorso for a business lunch, and we did well. There were three of us, and we ordered three plates of bresaola with rocket and two caprese salads, two bottles of water, and three coffees. The total cost was 43 euros, which was more than reasonable.

Bel posto! è bello sedersi in uno.dei tavoli all'aperto non importa se sono usurati e capitati anche loro li per caso,e gustarsi il luogo immerso nella campagna mantovana,tutto ilresto é un complemento...si,certo c'e l'Osteria ma anche quella orfana della cucina perche qui servono solo piatti.freddi ma dignitosi come l'accurato servizio ma la cosa importante è la dimensione di dove ci si trova,vicino a Corte Castiglioni sito storico,in un luogo del ricordo

We stopped here because we love old-fashioned places. We sat outside and had a coffee. We loved it, surrounded by greenery and shaded by the beautiful lime trees. We saw they also serve food, like platters, etc. We'll definitely be back.
