We were on a road trip to Houston and was so excited that we could stop by Checkers again but that was a terrible decision to stop by this location... The couple that ran the place tonight (8/1/2025) didn't even acknowledge us! The guy was on the ladder doing something while the lady was talking on the phone. We asked for a menu and the guy just stared at us then he turned on the TV screens. He looked like he didn't even want to take our orders. The chili dogs were salty and chewy. My son refused to take a second bite of it. Overall, biggest mistake to stop by here tonight.

Very poor customer service they don’t answer the drive-through box half of the time they say they’re still open online and on the hours on the window but they close early every time I go through. They speak rudely to customers and they just don’t care It needs a major overhaul of new staff or it’s gonna close next like the Jack-in-the-Box did across the way.

I experienced a complete lack of customer service at this Checkers. When I approached the counter, there was no menu visible. After asking for one, the employee used a remote control to display the menu on the TV screens. I placed my order without any verbal interaction from the staff. When my food was ready, it was handed to me without a word. Due to this poor service, I will not be returning to this Checkers.

The bread wasn’t even warmed up the burger was stale and cold and they are not fresh at all. The two girls didn’t even want to serve me. They looked at me and just continued playing on their phones. Don’t waste your money here go across the street better food better service.

Make sure you get all your food.. paid for 4 burgers got 2 drove all the way from Dallas for them. I guess it’s hard for the lady in the front to count 4 items.. love the food just the service wasn’t great at all. Won’t be returning to this location 👎

Our first and last time. Do not recommend! Fries and chicken tasted like they were fried with fish. Honestly the best part of the meal was the sprite. Definitely not worth $24 and 15 minutes that we spent waiting on it.

We stopped here thinking it was going to be fast, first they delayed taking our order, and then it have been more than 20 min on the drive-through window. The drive-thru employee is literally sit down waiting on the food. I don’t understand what is happening, our trip have been delayed more than 30 min just because we think Checkers will be quicker. You can’t tell me you are understaffed if you have employees sitting down. Nothing was offer for all the time we had to wait, and above everything we asked for bacon on the hamburgers and no bacon was added but it was charged to us.

Fries very good and we're hot. Cheeseburger not so much. Burger was cold being lunch time 12:00 I assumed it would be hot. The cheese wasn't even melted and with a half inch thick piece of purple Onion. Won't be stopping anymore on my way home which is 2 hours away.

We just stopped in for dinner and had the absolute worst experience. There was a new employee at the register clearly struggling and his team couldn't be bothered to help the poor kid out. 2 of the orders were wrong, and 1 of them came out wrong a second time, to the point I didn't want to deal with the poor attitude of who I'm assuming was the shift supervisor. If you are going to advertise a promotional item, please make sure that someone in the store knows how to make it. I am not faulting the new kid, he was doing his best, but the veteran employees and shift manager need to step up and ensure that employees are trained properly and that the customer gets what they pay for. We are in this area often and will not be bringing our business to checkers again.

Another edit... Went by there last Friday to get my daughter a quick meal. Every single employee was sitting on the curb smoking a cigarette while I sat at the drive through speaker.... they just watched for about 3 minutes and then finally made their way inside. I decided (once again) they don't deserve my business. They use to be fast. Now they're not. 2 times in a row I've been to visit and it has taken over 25 minutes at the drive through with only one other car in line. Update.. July 1st. I've been sitting in line for 30 minutes.
