Located in the heart of the city, super welcoming staff and Food tastes the best!! One of the most authentic South Asian Cusine you will find in Italy.
Extremely attentive and courteous staff person, excellent food. I recommend the tikki salmon with aubergine cream (Bhengan), as the staff recommended to me. The food even satisfied a picky 7 year old. We need to invent more reasons to come out to Chiavari so we can eat here again.
Food: The food was very good. I eat a lot of Indian dishes and this one is the best I have eaten in Italy. I ordered Butter Chicken and it was creamy and flavorful. Just the way it should be. The rice was cooked very good and had the perfect texture. We also ordered several other dishes (take a look at the pictures). I can‘t pronounce the names but they were phenomenal. The garlic naan was crazy good. It had just the right amount of garlic on it. Top 5 Naan I have ever eaten. Drinks: We as a family always order a Mango Lassi as a drink. The best way to test an Indian Restaurant is by their mango lassi. I have to lie but I certainly have visited over 50 different indian restaurants across UK, Germany, Spain, Mexico, USA, and Italy. I could always tell if the food would be good, according how they did their mango lassi. Taj Mahal delivered an exquisite Mango Lassi. Flavorful, creamy and the right texture. It was an experience. Since the Lassi was so good, I had high hopes for the food. And what should I say… as you read above, the food was exceptional! 5/5 for food and drinks. Service: Very nice lady who showed us our table. She was very polite and explained every dish in detail when we had a question. 5/5 Service. Overall a very beautiful food experience. I‘m staying in this city for another day and I definitely plan to come again. Well done. Good job!

Polite and courteous service. Food caters to local tastes as opposed to authentic Indian dishes.
Staff and service was good ...but the food was not soo good..i ordered chicken biryani but they just gave me some rice ( which was overcooked n sticky) mixed with some boneless chicken and few masala powder which was not even close to be called as biryani..dal was verryyy bland with no spices at all.. chicken tandoori was not cooked properly..naan was half cooked..plus they charge 6 euros for the table seevice..the only good thing in our order was masala chai.
The lady who was serving was extremely friendly and polite But food ! Indian ! Really?not at all authentic Caters to local taste . Poppadams were poor and sauce had a weird taste . Chicken fry .just had a red colour no flavour no taste whatsoever. Dal was pretty below average and doubt wether chef had ever eaten dal. Naan pretty below average Tea was good . Ambience was good . And decent service
This is not an authentic Indian restaurant, service is decent- but horrible under cooked food , no salt on some food, under cooked bread, old spoiled dishes. The owner argued with us when we brought to her attention the food was spoiled. I would stay away from this place, almost every dish had an issue and we ate there as a large group of 10
Food is not good. They claimed everything was fresh but we received not good food. I attached a picture which they say is paneer. You can figure out better. Not for Indians as it is not authentic Indian at all. I wondered how they are maintaining those good reviews.
Not Indian food, misses all the spices !! Sahi Paneer is paneer pomodoro ! Good service, kind people. If you want authentic indian, not the place !
