Wang Cho BBQ is a popular AYCE Korean BBQ spot known for its friendly service and fresh food. Many reviewers praise the attentive waiters, especially Jane, Dylan, and Diego. The new menu sets, particularly the spicy angus beef brisket, receive high marks. Some find the floors slippery and the banchan selection minimal.

Very good food and the staff is very friendly and attentive. You can't go wrong here with all choices of meat and side dishes. Fun spot to have dinner with family or friends.
Dylan and Diego provided top-tier service from start to finish. Super professional, honest, and easy to work with. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in their work. Highly recommend Dylan and Diego—definitely coming back!
Wangcho just started new menu set. There was no announcement, but I just heard they started it today. There is only two choices now, Prince and king. Prince is same as before. However, king menu has rib-eye and brisket with sauces!! Especially, spicy angus beef brisket is so awesome. Rib fingers with sauces are also great to enjoy. New side menus are like French fries and pop corn chicken. I guess they added it for kids. Good job Wangcho. I got another routine restaurant!
great place for AYCE korean bbq. The place is spacious, and no noisy loud background music like other korean bbq place usually has. Food served fast, like within 5 mins of ordering. Meat is fresh, plenty of choices even for the lowest price level. If one thing to complain, It takes 10-15 mins to be seated even though you are no.1 in the queue :(
We always enjoy our time at Wang Cho Last night was no different. Our server Jane was exceptional. She was courteous, friendly, sweet, and attentive. The food was delicious. Young lady at the front desk was friendly and efficient. Minor critique was where we were seated has a partition that's not well covered for privacy. It was too close. The smoke from their table blew to ours and my husband's eyes were red and watery. He is okay :) Maybe better ventilation is needed. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and service.
First time & loved it. Dam Delicious & the Soju made it magnificent dream meal. Many many many options from meats to seafood to everything. Great place for 2+ people/group. Finish your plate & they will keep bringing more out till you cant stuff anymore even if you try. Not exaggerating. I believe you get 2hr to eat limit, I was busy looking at the menu & didn't pay to much attention on all that.
It's hard these days to say it's Too Pricey because Everywhere is pricey... This was our first visit so let's just concentrate on the Great Food and the Great service! I believe our waiter was Erin (?) (Slim Male with glasses) and Kathy! Great job! Service with a smile! And hustled with our refills and 2nd order of meat! This place was busy! We definitely will be back!
The service, food, and atmosphere here is amazing. I haven't been to other Korean BBQ restaurants, so understand that my review won't be comparing it to others. I've been to this location at least a dozen times and it's consistent quality service. If you don't understand the food you want to order, just ask! All employees are more than happy (in my experience) to explain what the food is and how to cook it. This location is very accommodating too! I've been here with friends and our group ranged from 2 - 14 people. Obviously the larger your party, the longer the wait, so expect that if you go at peak times with a large group. Believe me though, the experience is great if you're new, and if you're familiar with KBBQ then you already know what to expect!
Floors are very very slippery. Food is good but doesn't seem to have too many sides. Spicy shrimp was great. And meat was pretty good.
We decided to try Wang Cho after our usual Korean BBQ place down the street was closed due to a special event. It's a solid choice. We went for the lunch special which is a good value though a bit limited (doesn't include any seafood, If you want seafood or more choices go for the prince menu which is only 6 dollars more). The items we ordered were served quickly and of good quality, everything tasted good. We were disappointed that the menu didn't include any dumplings or anything fried. When we arrived it wasn't that busy, a 10 or 15 minute wait to get seated (wait list online). Service was friendly and great at first but as it got busy we weren't checked on as often and they forgot to bring utensils we asked for. Overall we were quite satisfied and would come here again.
If you're craving all-you-can-eat BBQ, this place is definitely worth checking out! The food is pretty decent for the price—nothing mind-blowing, but definitely satisfying. The quality is solid for the cost, so you’re getting good value for your money. What really stood out was the service. The staff were friendly and attentive, constantly making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. It's always nice when the staff is on top of things, and they definitely made the experience more enjoyable.
Wang Cho BBQ in Chino Might Just Ruin All Other Korean BBQ for You I walked into Wang Cho BBQ in Chino expecting a decent meal. I walked out feeling like I had just been let in on a local secret. This spot brings the fire, literally and flavor wise. It is one of those places that makes you rethink everything you thought you knew about Korean barbecue. What is the vibe like at Wang Cho BBQ Chill, clean, and made for good times. The booths are spacious, the grill stations are set up for easy cooking, and the whole layout is perfect for group hangouts or a solid dinner date. There are three All You Can Eat options and let me tell you, they are generous. Come hungry. You are gonna need the stomach space. What should you order first The brisket and bulgogi were both top tier. Super fresh cuts, tender, and cooked right at the table. But here is the thing. The flavor was good but not quite legendary. I kept wishing for just a bit more seasoning to make it pop. It was one of those meals where you are satisfied but still thinking about what it could have been with just a little more kick. Now let me keep it real. Everyone online kept raving about the spicy pork belly and the marinated short ribs. And I saw why. Those dishes were flying off other tables. Next time I am diving straight into those. No hesitation. How are the sides The banchan selection covers the basics. Kimchi, pickled radish, bean sprouts. All solid, but nothing that slapped me awake. They could have been fresher, more vibrant. Still, they did the job while we waited on the next meat wave. And the service Started off strong. Quick to seat us, fast with the first round, and the staff knew their stuff. But then we hit a weird slow patch. There were some stretches where we were just sitting there with empty plates and no grill action. Not a huge deal, but definitely something they could tighten up. Pro tips for making the most of your visit • Go during non peak hours. Late lunch or early dinner is the sweet spot for better service and less wait. • Tier two is the move. Great mix of value and premium options. • Do not skip the marinated short ribs or spicy pork belly. They are favorites for a reason. • Ask for extra dipping sauces. It makes a difference. So is Wang Cho BBQ in Chino worth your time Yes. Even with the slow service moments and the meats needing a flavor boost, this place holds its own. The quality is there, the vibes are right, and the menu has legit gems that make it worth coming back. If you are in Chino and wondering where to eat, Wang Cho BBQ is absolutely in the top tier of Korean barbecue spots. You just need to know what to order and when to go. Now go get those short ribs and thank me later.
Wang Cho BBQ is your standard all you can eat KBBQ restaurant. The menu has different tiers with different prices. Higher tiers cost more, but come with items other tiers don't (like shrimp). The banchan is minimal, but tasty and refilled as many times as you want. Also included is salad, rice, fluffy egg, and other dishes. The brisket and spicy short ribs were both good. I'm not certain if the AC was out, but they did have huge fans blowing air. They helped, but the place still felt a bit stuffy. Aside from that, the staff was friendly and the place was clean.
I love this kbbq, the flavors are great and servers are usually super amazing with grill changes, and service. Today, however, there was a younger latino man who was serving us, and he quite literally was absent the entire time we were eating. If you tried flagging him down he would look away and do something else. Half way through cooking our meat, a worker came by and turned our grill off completely, leaving our raw meat just sitting there. The men in black shirts who walk around were amazing. However, the red shirt servers. Yikes. Service has been depleting everytime we come in. (Except for the man with glasses and a beautiful beard, we love you) And for the price change they've recently undergone, its just disappointing to pay so much for dinner and then be let down with the service. If you come in the early afternoon, amazing. Night shift, not so much.
Located in the 'Chino Spectrum Towne Center' on Grand Ave, between Pipeline & Roswell Avenues by Raising Canes with plenty on parking. We were a party of 13 and met on a Saturday at noon (opening time). We were seated immediately since it was not busy during early hours. Your entire party has to select the same menu package, which is understandable. We opted for their middle package, the "King" at $35/person with different selections of chicken, bulgogi, pork belly, squid, shrimp, and many more choices. Sides are available upon request. I don't know what to think about their overall service. Unwelcoming hostess. Our group was divided into 2 tables and away from each other, yet there were available tables side-by-side. Our server was quite inattentive and not friendly. In fact she seemed overwhelmed with our size party. The staff walking around swapping out our grill did a great job though, making sure our grills were clean throughout our visit. The restaurant was visually clean and organized with nice decor and lighting...they currently post a "B" grade on their window. Overall, our lunch experience was okay.
I've been here a couple of times and it's usually good service but the last time I came the dude came to our table to change a grill at least 8 times during the hour. It was annoying to be constantly nagged about it. Eventually he stopped asking and some dude just came to change our grill without asking. Food good service ok, grill change dude annoying. Our grills were not that bad.
Revisiting wang cho after several years of not going. Its apparently under new ownership. The macaroni salad isn't available anymore. Right off the bat, i think some of these workers need better training on how to clean. I saw one dude use the same cloth that he used to wipe down a floor spill to wipe down the SEATS. I think the cleaners just rotate between the same two towels for the entire shift. We went during a weekday lunch on Friday, and it wasn't too loud in there. It didn't take too much difficulty to get out grill changed or our meat orders taken. We especially liked the rib finger and beef brisket, although some of the side dishes have changed in ingredients or portion size. For example the soybean paste stew uses HAM in it...which made it very salty. Overall, I would go again....only if they retrain their workers on how to clean.
Our group is 4 came here for dinner around at 6:30pm, we got table in patio ( enclosed patio) with heater so no problem if it is cold outside. Since it is tables in patio so the grill is on portable propane stove which we do not like much but it is acceptable rather than waiting for table inside. The waitress who serve our table is very active and helpful The thing I was really annoyed is how the side dish and sauce for dipping that they gave us at first, not sure if enough for one kid to eat but they gave for 4z!? I understand you can call but I would be happier if I could ask less to our waitress, she ran like crazy for us when we ask sauce, sides, etc, I felt bad when had to ask for every little thing when it can be settle easily to save times and energy. I know you try to save money on side dishes and sauce but please make sense a little bit, you can count how many slide of fish cake or cucumber there!? Be generous a bit, your menu price is not cheap and your food quality is not the best.
Very disappointing experience on New Year’s Day. We waited over 30 minutes even though the waiting list showed zero parties ahead. Other groups were allowed to cut in line claiming reservations, despite arriving later than us. The front staff was also absent for much of the wait. The lack of fairness and transparency made the experience poorly managed.
Arrived around 5pm and when walking in there was no one waiting, and a sign that says no wait, we will seat you shortly. One of the employees saw us and looked around the dining room and told us it would be about two minutes. We stood there waiting as there is no seating to wait, and waited and waited. There were about 6 employees at the front desk, with many walking around, and lots of empty tables, but no one acknowledged us again or told us how much longer or why it was taking so long. We ended up walking out, but on our way out one employees said sorry about that. Would like to try the food, but with a real wait time estimate so not to waste our time.
