It was so good! Kids from 12 and under eat free with every adult plate. My son bought an adult plate and got a free kids plate ate both!!!! It was so good so much food! Waiter was amazingly sweet loved it. Best experience I've ever had at any I hope.

My server Marc was amazing, he was on point with everything and I have been to this ihop a million times and no sever has been as attentive, respectful and friendly as him , Marc made this trip a 5/5 stars!

Service is usually fairly brisk no matter how full the place is. They're great about keeping an eye out for you, the food is of course amazing, and the manager makes rounds to check on everyone. Despite the syrup usage and I'm sure plenty of spills, tables have remained clean and spotless every time I've come here.

The restaurant was clean and tidy, and while the seating could use some repair, it was an overall pleasant atmosphere. Our server, Octavia, was very kind and helpful. She was very patient with us and checked in ok us regularly. The food was hot and fresh and didnt take too long to be served.

Abby is the best!!!!! She made sure we had everything we needed. She also asked if I wanted a special order. I want her to be my server every time. 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Craig is a very hard worker that I noticed. It had been awhile since I ate at IHOP. When I decided to go, my server made sure I was taken care. I’ve been going pretty much every 1-2 weeks! And when I come, I always request the waitress that makes sure I have a great experience!!! Octavia, I say thank you for your attentiveness, even on the busiest of days!

Best IHOP in the area. I've been to many IHOPs across the state and out of state. Most of them are crummy. This one has been well managed for some 20yrs now and still stands as the best of IHOP. I only wish it was bigger, there's barely any room inside and the bathrooms are like a closet. Still worth the service and food quality though.

The placed was packed but wait staff was keeping up. It was kind of nasty that some ac vents were dripping onto the tables while you were eating. The Worst thing was getting ripped off by their shadie menu pricing as shown in the pictures. And even the manager said they didn't know?? You can get 2 side orders of pancakes (4 total) for $6. Or a 3 stack for $8.49. ????? Wait staff won't tell you this. Very disappointing.

I went with my friend at about 3am, and since my battery was nearly out (2%), I asked if we could be sat next to an outlet. The waiter (Marc) said that they didn’t have any outlets, but that he had a portable charger I could use. He was super attentive, bantered with us, and even brought me extra ice cream when they forgot the first time. Super funny guy, really amazing at his job.

Service was very good from start to finish. Coffee was good to start off. The breakfast bowl was fresh and good size and with pancakes too. The omelette my co worker ordered was crazy big. Looked really good too. Ready to take on the day now.

I had a hard time believing these pancakes were gluten free friendly!! They were super light and fluffy! Of course everything else was fantastic as well. The service was wonderful and very welcoming. 100% would go again!!😁❤️

I got 2 tres leches pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of 🥓 bacon, and ☕ coffee! It was amazing, as well as the gentleman who waited on myself and my client was awesome! The only thing is if you are cold natured or get cold easy just make sure you don't sit in the little room to the right in the second booth as you will definitely freeze 🥶! Lol

This is our go to Ihop location for Tyler. It's an older smaller location the service is always good here. It can be very busy so sometimes their is an wait. The food is always good at this location. Usually you don't have to wait to long for the food.

Was not an enjoyable one, was told wrong information and then charged 4 dollars more. The waiter was non existent and had to go search for a check and togo box. Ask for more drinks after sitting at the table for over 30 minutes. Food was good.

The food was good, but the service was definitely lacking.

Food came out fairly fast considering how busy they were. Staff was friendly and kept up on their tables. Only 3 stars though due to the it not being very clean. Stains all over the floors and all of the HVAC vents were beyond filthy! They were just caked with dirt, dust, webs, and gunk.

Manager Laney was sweet and understanding.. MY EXPERIENCE: WHEN i walked n as usual several people are at the counter acting as if they dont see people walking in...there welcoming spirit is bad ...they are young and playful...my waitress Kimmey demeanor and attitude came off a little negative once I placed my order but couldn't understand why I was unable to get a substitution that I've always gotten...even the week before when I came in I had no problems..I dont eat eggs even tho what I ordered was a special..ITS LIKE IM PENALIZED FOR NOT EATING EGGS to get a substitution. My waiter went and got the manager then the manager above that manager came LANEY... she actually sat down at my level eye to eye and explained and also became open minded to hear me out as well.. ONE THING I can say out of this is LANEY IS IN THE RIGHT POSITION the ones under her should take note because she sets the bar high in managment for ihop because of her I WILL B BACK

The staff was very friendly. If you are going to have people walk through the prep area to get to seating or go to the restrooms you need to clean the prep area. Food and liquids were all over from the drink area to the restrooms. The ladies room really needs to be cleaned. There was butter and other sticky substance on the prep area. Soda was going over the prep area to the floor.

The food was good but cold. It could have been brought out sooner and been warmer. I felt the service was good otherwise. I miss the different flavored syrups they used to have. Only maple now.

Usually have an awesome experience here but not this time. We get there around 8:30pm and dont get to order until maybe 10 minutes later. Food takes a bit to come out and as soon as our food comes out the server gives us our check. ??? Rude. Felt as if he was kicking us out. Didn't ask if we needed anything else. The crepes came out much later than the rest of the food and they were . . . Not it. They were very much undercooked and bland. They are called Fresh Berry crepes but all they had on them was 6 slices of mushy overripe strawberries. Im guessing thats why he gave us our check because he knew it wasnt gonna be good. Even if we wanted to send back the crepes, we couldn't because the server barely wanted to stop and check on our drinks. Another server came and asked if we had already ordered long after we ordered our food too. Just so much miscommunication and unorganized. The table next to us didn't get cleaned the entire time we were there. Ticket was printed at 8:47pm when we ordered and we didn't even leave until 9:30. I could hear the server say "I just got thrown over here I dont know." Another very unhappy customer was sat behind us and we could hear him complain about the server ignoring him. Spent $40 on dinner and was extremely disappointed.

Went in Wed of this week we don’t go to this restaurant very often but when me and my boyfriend got seated in the back near the bathrooms our booth was sticky and had food in the seat we had to wait 8 minutes before someone could come wipe it, I was thinking who seats customers to a dirty table as soon as they walk in. Rather being busy or not, you should have clean tables ready, secondly other customers behind me and beside me complained of the temperature of the back area and complained how their food was cold was not very appealing to eat my own breakfast with other complaining customers, My problem was the dirty table, may not want to come back for awhile to eat there. Because me and my boyfriend shouldn’t have to stand and wait to have a table cleaned as soon as we walk in. Food was alright no complaints.

Didn't get to leave with the smile they promised. We were a group of 7 - seated in the small room to the right - always freezing in there! But we were prepared this time. Just not prepared for the slooooowwww service (not even a little busy). We asked that any food ready, please bring it out ASAP as we didn't want to wait for other food and the kids were hungry. Nope ..mentioned it to the server two times, watching the food pile up on the counter... Finally, called him out and said is that our food up there.. yup! Gotta say most of the food was good and well prepared; tbone was tough and over cooked and missing the hasbrowns and my eggs were sunny side up instead of over-easy - quickly redone, but runny and gross. Kept them - no point and given it took FOREVER to get our food. All done, kids are jacked up from the sugar, we're set to go ...again, took forever to get our bill...then oopps.. wrong bill was given to us...we had to wait another 20-25 minutes and finally after asking the Ashford (who I assumed was the manager) what's the issue he said there was a mix up and they were getting it sorted soon...so another 10 minutes to reprint and verify.. 😫 just to try and leave. Sigh!!!! Even after all this, My son was gracious and left a tip. I guess everyone has an off night - we just were hoping for better and faster service too leave with the smile they promised. Maybe next time.

We go to IHOP at like 4am. We’re greeted. Waitress let’s us seat ourselves because it’s empty. Takes our order. She brings out the food. “So actually we’re out if hamburger buns, so they put it on toast instead. I hope that’s okay.” I take it as is and she goes about her way. It was fine, but I just wish she would’ve asked me if it was okay before it was made. I really hate crust, especially on toast. It’s too hard. I had to pick it off by hand since I was only provided with a butter knife. If she would’ve asked me before, I would’ve requested the crust to be cut off before toasting. That way it wouldn’t make such a mess for me and the busboy. Also, I was out of drink for a while. She didn’t come by to check on us until she asked about the bill. I even had set my cup on the edge of the table, so she could see it beforehand. She finally brought a refill with the bill, but at that point I was practically done. The burger was good, though. Even with toast. The fries were mediocre. But the service wasn’t that good. She was nice but not attentive nor considerate. Now, the cook might have not told her until the food was ready. Either way, it’s someone’s fault that I wasn’t asked ahead of time.

Literally just walked out this morning got sat at like 8am sat around for 30min no drink no service only one waitress was in the building doing stuff cooks were busy and food was coming out but nothing was being served. When we arrived people were out side smoking not a big deal to me but when we left they were all outside. We were leaving and the manager tried to approach me asking why we were leaving. Obviously not being serviced anything would be a problem. Looks like there meeting was more important. They left before I could get everyone in the group photo.

I went in for breakfast around 10:15am, was seated, waiter took my order. After sitting there for over an hour and watching several tables have orders taken, food delivered, and some even left. I found out the waiter never turned in my order. At this point I needed to get back to the doctor where my boyfriend was having a procedure done. Thanks for nothing.

The waitress needs to wear hair nets. The hair to long to working around food. It's so surprising that manager as on one. But not employees.. The service is not good. The dinning room needs to clean. The floors need to clean. Food is over of floor. I've been retail for 30 yrs. And I'm very disappointed 😞.

Omg !! What a horrible experience!! There was only one waiter and one cook on duty. First, it took a long time to get our drink. Our food took a long time to come out. My pancakes were cold and they had cold strawberries on to top which made it worse. The waiter had to heat my food in the microwave!! All our food we ordered was cold. Then we had to wait forever to get our ticket to pay. The waiter also kept saying she was the only one and she knew service was horrible!!..Worse experience plus there were so many people standing around waiting to get seated!! I'll never go back!!

The manager , female, never greeted us nor said sorry for the wait. Just passed by like dog with no leash. We were literally the only ones standing waiting to be seated . Server was slow , the guy that brought the food was the only nice person. Restaurant was not busy several empty tables

Had the worst experience ever tonight at ihop across from Tyler mall. Walked in no one greeted us, had to seat ourselves and wait to receive a menu the waiter was really nice when he finally came around, took over and hour to receive our food and when we got it, it was cold and undercooked. Had to send it back. And left.

We got our food to go and it was sitting in a puddle. I was very disappointed at the quality and taste of the food.. wet eggs are gross

Had to edit this review because tonight, Tuesday Feb. 17th @ 7:05 pm...... French fries old and cold, salted ( i ordered NO SALT because my doctor put me on a very low-sodium diet ). I ordered my eggs over hard, but received over easy. Also my pancakes are COLD, COLD, COLD. Disappointment is an understatement for me also

We arrived around 8:30a.m got seated pretty quick and our drink order was taken in a timely manner. I ordered coffee and sweet tea. Our drinks arrive pretty quick. I wasn’t asked if i wanted creamer which is ok because I also forgot to let our waiter know that i would like creamer. He didn’t come back to see if we needed refills at which time i would have asked for creamer. He shows up with our food 30 min or so later with our food. My over medium eggs were burnt my french toast was cold. My husbands french toast was also cold. The lady sitting in front of us sent her pancakes back because they were also cold. The bath rooms were dirty, no toilet tissue in the roll dispenser. I was disappointed. I could only imagine what the kitchen looked like. If there were a lot of people in the restaurant i would have understood some of it. I would not recommend this particular IHop.

They served us reluctantly. The waiter left after we ordered our drinks and didn't come back. He forgot about us. When we tried to order again while we were eating, he disappeared and didn't come back. We wanted to order again while we were eating, but we saw him chatting with the cashier and other waiters at the front. When he brought us our food, it was cold and dry. Horrible. Even the coffee tasted more like water than coffee.

Went here Monday 8/25/25 at 11:40am, party of 3. Two of us ordered the same thing - the House Faves Breakfast Faves Combo (2 scrambled eggs, 2 slices of bacon CRISPY, 2 original buttermilk pancakes). Person 3 ordered Quick 2 Egg Breakfast. Service was slow. She said they were having internet problems, and couldn't even take our order for several minutes while they worked on it. Kitchen seemed with it, but we watched them put pancakes out for the server to grab about 10 minutes before she actually grabbed them. Finally got our order about 25 minutes after arrival. This may not have been an issue, but it was our lunch hour, and this should have been a quick order to fill. Alas, pancakes were stone cold, eggs weren't warm either, and bacon was anything but crispy. One of us got a 10% discount as an apology, the other 2 got nothing; no discount, apology or anything. Didn't have time to wait around for the manager. Disappointed is an understatement. IHOP clearly needs a backup plan so that things can keep running on time when technology does not.

Worst experience ever at IHOP located on 115 Loop 323 Tyler, Texas 75701. Food was disgusting. Let’s start with the server Kim who did not refill drinks at all. Purchase grits that were ice cold. My daughters cupcake pancakes look like they were covered in snot. Eggs and bacon look like they were from Great Value kitchen, plates had small size portions for 54.00 it was not worth it. I will NOT return to this location in the future.
