I don't usually go out of my way to review businesses, but I was blown away by how great this food was. Best tamarind sauce I've ever had, I'm a hooked customer!
Absolutely amazing food at a very good price. The people were super nice too! Probably the best surprise I've had with a restaurant, I recommend this place to everyone who reads this!
The Dal Makhani was delicious and fresh. Good portion size and comes with basmati rice.
We have been here several times and every time is amazing. Food is flavorful and delicious. Owner is so kind and accommodating. Fantastic 👍🏼
Amazing Food & Service. Our Host Was A God Send😇. Future Recommendation: Try The PALAK PANEER & THE LAMB MASALA!😘🤤 MY FRIEND SAYS THEY HAVE “The BEST AUTHENTIC CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA IN THE AREA!!!😍😌
All I could say is OMG great food the best I had in a while everything was so tasty. Cant wait to go back The only thing I wish they had on dinner buffet are naan and Gulab jamun ..I hightly Recommended CHATPATA
We've never seen it crowded here, but the food we've tried is delicious! Their chicken tikka masala was the best I've ever had. And my husband loved the chicken curry. Highly recommend!
I don’t usually leave a review but this was the best garlic naan I have ever had.
We moved from NorCal to Clifton Park and this is by far our most favorite Indian/Pakistan Restaurant. Punjabi Lamb Korma, Lamb rogan josh are some of my favorite dishes. Highly recommended.
Amazing food. There was a great warmt in the food. I felt like home. It was so rich in taste and quality. I would recommend anyone craving for Indian food to visit this place. Its just any other restaraunt.
Real Indian cuisine. I have tried several Indian restaurants in NYC, but this one had unique taste. Very friendly, wonderful service. I recommend chicken Masala
Food is great! Order takeout for dinner often and always happy. Chicken Korma, Onion Bahji, Lamb Vindaloo, Garlic Naan, and Mango Lasse are all very good. Very friendly service as well!
very good vegetarian options the food is amazing and the food comes out quick and it always tastes fresh.
Great rice and Chicken Tikka masala. It has a good value for the portion size and authentic taste. The food was so good that it put my fiancé into a food coma since he was so satisfied. 😂
One of the best Indian cuisine restaurant in Clifton park chatpata.Authentic taste and satisfies the urge of having Indian food.Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan(mutton) is a must try. Great ambience and excellent service.
First visit for us. Food was great, the mild spice for my wife was too hot for her, so I was pleased to have her’s also. So glad we found this place. Will be returning soon.
Recently became a vegetarian and was taking a dive into Indian cuisine because it’s so full of great options. Tried 4 different Indian places in the area before I tried Chatpata and I haven’t gone anywhere else since. I usually get the vegetable korma (with naan and raita) and then some aloo tikki. The vegetable korma has such a lovely blend of vegetable and is beautifully seasoned. If you can’t do spicy, this place is still good for you! The food is pleasantly warm without being overpowering, but I’m sure if you wanted more of a kick they could do that, too. I get their gulab jamun for dessert and it’s one of the better ones I’ve tried, the donuts still have a good bite to them and the syrup isn’t too sweet. Really awesome! I come here maybe twice a month now.
You can’t go wrong with the beef curry or the beef palak and then of course the tandoori chicken . It was an outstanding meal experience possibly the best Indian food in the capital District. I just had lunch there with my father and he was impressed as well. Don’t forget to get an order of the garlic naan bread.
So happy with our NYE Indian takeout meal. It was delicious and the service was great. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Delicious Pakistani cuisine and reasonably priced. Owner and his staff were very friendly and attentive.
So my husband and I really wanting something different and we had this cuisine before but the experience is what turned us off , but we wanted to try again and look up this restaurant in Halfmoon and it was delicious !!!! I had the chicken Marsala and my husband had the chicken in yogurt cream sauce and it was amazing! We also order the spinach and potatoe as a side with naan and roti very very good maybe not the bread again but everything else was delish!!! The other best part was that we got a Thank you and please come back again and he handed my husband 2 rice puddings which was nice .They will see us again and can’t wait for them to open and try there buffet.
Exterior/interior decor of the restaurant is slightly underwhelming but the food is excellent. I ordered the mattar paneer and the Kashmiri naan which I both loved. I have never seen Kashmiri naan before at other Indian restaurants, it was so delicious- everyone should try it at this restaurant!! The staff was very nice and owner was awesome (friendly, welcoming, and accommodating).
This is our new go-to when we want a quick night out, or don't want to cook. The buffet has never let us down when it comes to freshness and flavor! The staff is great and really cares about their customers.
They have the bestttt stuffed naan. Jalapeño cheese naan is our most favourite. We absolutely love their tandoori chicken, it’s the juiciest unlike other restaurants which give you burnt pieces most of the time. Their chicken tikka masala is just okayyy tho
I happened try the buffet and it was great. The off the menu items are pretty expensive compared to other indian pakistani restaurants but are worth a try. Overall I am giving 5 stars because the taste was really good. Clili chicken, tandoori chicken with naan, and samosa chaat are a must if you are visiting for the first time.
Every time I eat here I get the Chicken Tikka Masala because that is my favorite. They have the best tikka masala around. As good as Maharaja in colonie. They are both slightly different in flavor but just as good in their own way. Since I live in Clifton park I go here more and will always go back. The cheese naan is excellent as well as the poori bread. 5 stars all the way. Definitely go here!
This is always the absolute BEST food! We are grateful to their staff for always taking such great care of us.
stopped in on a whim for their Sunday buffet pre-Covid and have been hooked ever since! Food is delicious and served hot and fresh. Great vegetarian options - highly recommend the korma and a side of naan!
First time dining in and I was not disappointed! The food was delicious and we came dangerously close to being overstuffed from how much food we ate. The restaurant was nice and clean and the staff was friendly and professional. This place is way better than Shalimar or any other Indian food restaurant in the Clifton Park area.
Had a delicious lunch buffet here last week - their goat curry, spiced fish and garlic naan were especially good. Service was friendly and prompt, and the buffet price was very reasonable. Will definitely be back!
Ordered food through Grub Hub. It was ready and delivered within an hour. We had chicken tikka masala, chicken vindaloo, keema naan and garlic naan, chicken soup, and vegetable samosas, and it was all delicious! At first I thought the containers were a little small, but we ended up having leftovers, so they weren't as small as I originally thought. I will definitely be a returning customer.
My girl loves this place! Says it has the best Chicken Tikka Marsala and Naan. Owner gave me a special sauce to try for her, they are very sweet and some of the nicest people I’ve ever met! Can’t go wrong with a stop here!
The BEST Indian food in the area! We’ve tried other places and nothing compares. We love and always order the naan, pakora, & vegetable korma. Then we add new things to try and we have never been disappointed. We highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you to everyone at Chatpata for the amazing foos!
One of my favorite Indian food restaurants, and I've eaten at maybe 20 of them. Awesome food, very friendly and appreciative staff.
I go to the owners other locations in latham (Shalimar) all the time I was in Clifton Park with my family and proved this location is just as good. The best Indian food in the 518 while not being overly expensive. Definitely worth a trip!
Great apps and chai and tandoor AND curry! We try Indian food everywhere we go and this was the best overall we have found in a long time! It's a simple serve yourself place and that turns out to be great because you get what you need when you need it. Really nice staff. Comfortable and clean. Excellent!
We are huge Indian-Pakistani food lovers. We went for the dinner buffet and the food was excellent. We will be going back. The chicken biryani and Chana (chickpea) dishes were excellent. Lovely service.
The food and service is fantastic! We got the chicken Tikka Masala, vegetable curry, mixed appetizer, and chicken Tikka wrap..everything was delicious! We will be back!
They have improved tremendously over time! Love their variety on the menu, nothing disappoints! Few of my favorites are the tandoori shrimp, chicken tikka, and yummy kheer.
Last night, I had the pleasure of ordering takeout from Chatpata Indian Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable culinary experience. From the moment I opened the containers, the rich aromas of the spices filled my kitchen, promising a delightful feast. First up was the Chicken Korma, which was nothing short of heavenly. The sauce was a creamy, velvety blend of cashews and yogurt, perfectly spiced to enhance the tender chicken pieces. Each bite was a harmonious balance of sweet and savory, making it an instant favorite. Next, I dove into the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was succulent and marinated to perfection, swimming in a robust, tangy tomato-based sauce. The layers of flavor were complex yet comforting, a true testament to Chatpata's mastery of Indian cuisine. Lastly, the Chicken Palak was a vibrant green delight. The spinach was pureed to a silky texture, enveloping the juicy chicken pieces in a rich, flavorful sauce. It was a wonderful blend of health and indulgence, with spices that were both bold and balanced. Chatpata Indian Restaurant truly delivered an exceptional meal that satisfied every craving. The quality of the food, the perfect blend of spices, and the generous portions made it a standout experience. I can’t wait to order from them again and explore more of their enticing menu!
This restaurant is so good. Far and away the best Indian food in Clifton park. Authentically spicy! We have been ordering delivery via grubhub every month for a year now and yesterday was our first time dining in. The delivery does not do the food justice at all!! The naan was cooked perfectly, the biryani was so flavorful with perfect acidity and tender gigantic pieces of chicken. Great food and I hope more people get to try it!
First time dining at Chatpata, very pleased! The restaurant was very clean, the staff were pleasant/attentive, and the food was delicious. A fair price for good portion sizes and high quality food. I ordered the chicken biryani, it was the best dish I have had!
The owner is a delight! I love the food.
Host was very pleasant and helped picking items out to try. Food fresh and very delicious. I had chicken tikka masala and the mixed appetizers. The green chutney was amazing if you love sauce like I do.
We ordered through doordash and the food was so good it warranted a visit to Google to write this amazing review for it. Bottom line, everything tasted like it was made with care. It wasn't greasy, it tasted freshly made, and for a decent price. I'm sure there are better places out there, but I'm all about the best bang for the buck. This restaurant hit all the right notes.
Me and my family went in there today and had a wonderful experience. The food, the service the atmosphere.. everything was wonderful. Definitely go in there! “Zabaan ki hogye bali balai”
I probably order from this restaurant at least once a week. The food there is excellent, and is always freshly cooked when I pick it up. The family that owns it is very friendly and have always provided me with excellent service. This is one of the best little spots in the Clifton Park area.
Awesome food and clean environment. I saw the chef come out to check on the fullness of the buffet items and he was wearing a full plastic face covering 😉 we come here about 1 in 2 weeks. The affordability and the quality of the food make us come back. Needless to say, the owner and the staff are super sweet :)
I wish I could hug these people. This is the best food delivery I have had since moving to Clifton Park. It's prompt and amazing fresh and delicious. The meat portions in the dishes are very generous for the price. And the sauces, especially the curry, are outrageous. Thanks so much, your food is absolutely delicious.
I have never tried this place before, but being hungry at home and looking for food on grub hub, I figured I would give this place a try. I ordered the chicken tiki masala, and the Punjabi beef korma. I was blown away with the food. The flavor was amazing, rice cooked perfectly. I had plenty of sauce to even have some left over to use for something later. Will definitely be ordering again.
No frills but a very solid buffet. I still need to order some takeout but was impressed by the selection and taste of everything I ate. The pepper chicken (crispy bits of chicken with peppers and spicy sauce) wasn't something I'd order... But I went back for seconds. Total comfort food 🤣 Looking forward to going back and grazing again when things get back to normal.
Best kept secret in Clifton Park. Power’s was packed, Rusty Nail was packed. Came here and was absolutely blown away. The tandoori chicken was exquisite, and I wouldn’t have been disappointed if I had been served it from a fancy five star restaurant for twice the price. Eat here, you will not regret it.
I can't understand the one star review at all. My girlfriend and I came here for the first time for dinner on New Year's Day, and we're already back for the buffet. We had the chicken tikka, the spinach and cheese curry, and garlic naan for dinner. Everything was delicious and well balanced, and the prices were very fair. The lunch buffet is an amazing deal for $10. If you've thought about this place at all do yourself a favor and try it.
Their lamb has been amazing, incredibly tender and delicious. Would absolutely recommend the lamb korma. This place is doin it right, glad they realized their mistake with the plastic rice containers that melted when we first got delivery from here! (they've switched to better containers since)
Food: 1. I order Tandori Chicken on a regular basis because the taste and flavor of specific spices is so unique! Just the odor of it makes me mouth watering .! 2. Beef Vindaloo spicy will add to your meal a great spice to enjoy the blessing! 3. Dal Palak to add with. Above two and Nan makes delicious meal cooked to perfection and order on daily basis . 4. Weekend Buffett is unparalleled with so many items to choose from at very reasonable cost. 5. Cleanliness and restaurant ambiance Is outstanding! Staff: Owner of the restaurant MR Bashir Sial and his son are down to earth to do everything possible to have a great meal. Thank you to Master chef for cooking such great food to make you come again and again. A greatly satisfied customer : Dr Nazir Memon Clifton Park, New York.
My son and I went there for Mother’s Day. The Chicken Tika Masella and Tandori Chicken were banging. The Naan bread excellent. The Lassi a little too sweet. We will be trying the buffet next week. All in all, a great experience and very clean place and not crowded. The buffet seems like the better deal in the long run, but is only at night Fri.-Sun. Highly recommend.
I have ordered food from here many times and food is pretty good. Their seekh kabobs, naan and chicken tikka is our favorites items. When ordering make sure to let them know what spice level you want, 4-5 is what we usually pick.
The decor is fantastic! The service is really on point not to pushy yet always there if you need something. Honestly everything I ordered was DAMN good. The naan was fresh and buttery, the vegetable curry had the perfect spice to it. Do your self a favor and check this place out so affordable
This restaurant left a great first impression. Two meals experienced. First, Punjabi chicken korma. It was perfectly spiced and seasoned, served hot. The second meal was Punjabi beef korma. Tasteful and the sauce was perfect. Very satisfied with both. The portions were ample while not excessive. Two meals from one, in this case. For both dishes, the taste was superb. Other area chefs in this cuisine should make these ingredients the standard. Palak naan was delicious, and the serving was very large. Perfect for two or more people. Seating was ample, atmospheric music was audible, not too loud. Take out options exist, and mainstream delivery services are also available. Call first for owner-sponsored delivery. There appears to be a buffet option, but was not part of this initial visit.
Best Indian food in Clifton park. It’s so good everytime!
The food here is incredible! The service was very friendly and attentive also.
I love this hidden gem ! The owner and staff are so kind and accommodating. My chicken curry was exceptional as well as milk tea .
My go-to for Indian food. Always tasty, buffet is great on weekends. Showed up with 10 people and they sat us right down. And very friendly staff.
Loved the food. Buffet had a great variety and the mango lassi was delicious. Friendly service from a family owned business.
I've been ordering/coming here for some years now. I tried this place on a whim initially. Thanks to that first experience, I gained a taste for Indian food. I've tried other places and they just aren't the same as Chatpata. The food here is consistently excellent. The poori is never dry or crumbly. The way they make it (like a soft fried flatbread) makes for a sweet wrap you can put rice and meat in. It's delicious.
Very friendly staff. Food was hot, tasty, and the best meal we've had out all summer. The dessert was by far the best dessert I've had in a long time from a menu. My husband was a bit worried about eating here since it's in a small strip mall; don't judge it on location.
This is a delightful restaurant with wonderful food and incredibly friendly staff. I did takeout but will definitely be back to dine in. My food was piping hot even though I picked it up and took it home. I tried the lamb makhani, jalapeno cheese naan, and mango lassi and everything was very delicious. I highly recommend checking out this lovely local spot.
My husband and I have been coming here for the buffet for years, and we love it. Though we've since moved, whenever we're back in the area we make it a point to stop here at least once for great indian cuisine. The owner is always friendly and greets us with a smiling face. You can't beat the prices, especially when other restaurants increase prices for smaller portion sizes.
I've visited this restaurant 3x so far and every time the service has been consistently good. They offer delicious Indian food that can be tailored to your liking as far as the spicyness goes. Discovered this place through groupon which was a great value! I highly recommend the chicken pakora (best value for the amount of meat served), chicken tandoori, and the beef palak (spinach).
Came on 9/5/20 at 6:30 ish pm. The best Indian buffet I have tried. I am so full because you can not stop with only one dish. It offers a huge variety. Naan bread came nice and hot and fresh and buttery and very yummy. Yet, everything felt and tasted fresh (thought Tiki Chicken Masala was a bit dry I assume due to being reheated after main crowd at 5 pm). Clean place as well. Will definitely recommend as well as I certainly know we will Come back.
Stop reading and order now. My order was ready within 30 minutes, I picked it up and left. The dude ran out with the mango Lassi I forgot, with a smile. That and the chili chicken are probably the best I've had. If it seems expensive, it's not. These are chinese food portion, one item could feed 5. Everything comes with rice too.
We came here on Christmas Day and we are so happy we did! The food was delicious. The Chicken Tikka Masala was sooo creamy and Rich and tender I didn't want to stop eating it. The garlic naan was also very fresh. My husband got the Lamb Roganjosh and loved it. 100x better here than Shalimar or Karavalli. And the service was excellent and friendly too. The booths are also very comfortable which isn't usually something I notice. I think they're all new.
I had take-out from here for dinner. I ordered beef madras and plain naan, plus an impulse-buy mango lassi. I consumed the lassi immediately, as my meal was being bagged - it was good. The beef dish was very tasty, with ample spice and a surprising amount of meat. The meat itself was not fatty or too chewy - it was quite satisfying. The naan was fabulous. Not too dry, not too moist - just right. The rice - which came with the madras dish, was quite good, too. Aromatic and enjoyable by itself; I had to struggle to not eat the entire pint. I'll definitely be eating here again.
Don't go to the buffet. They have a lot of work to do on that front and I'm hoping they stick around despite that. Both times I went it was not kept very clean, they don't replace dishes for long periods of time and the service is generally not great. However...if you order delivery or carry out you will get some really fresh delicious food. The tandoori chicken, beef vindaloo and vegetable samosa are my favorite. Please work on your buffet appearance so I can enjoy this food for a long time!!
While there you may see some of the owners and/ or workers openly display their praying to Mecca using individual prayer rugs sans shoes or sandals in the dining area. I came for the meal not for the show !
Friendly service, salty kebabs. I had been looking forward to the Chicken Sheek Kebabs all week, which may have been why my hype was not met. Ordered that along with the appetizer sampler, online, for a pickup later that day. Total coming to a little over $26, not too bad I thought. Arrived a few minutes before the time to find my order was totally ready to go, but it felt warm and the guys there were pretty friendly and almost seemed excited to give me my order. So off I went home. Digging into the meal back home I found that all the appetizers had gone cool, they had some great flavor, nice and spicy with Indian spices, but I bet they would have been even better warm as their cooler nature turned them a fair bit tough to chew. As for the main dish, the kebab, it was just so salty. The banana peppers draped across the chicken kebabs did help offset the saltiness, but after a few sections of kebab I was feeling my blood pressure rising. Overall I would say this is a clear 3.5 out of 5 stars, but since Google doesn't do half stars, I will round up for the friendly service.
This restaurant replaced another Indian restaurant several months ago. The prices for the bufett are reasonable. I find the food good. At times it is hit or miss with certain buffet items. The tandoori chicken at times can be dry. The waiter is very nice. He can sometimes seem to get overwhelmed and may forget an item you may have ordered. The food is fresh. I find this restaurant to be good quality for the price in regards to the buffet. The item selection on the Buffett is not too large, but they do make sure that there is enough vegetarian and meat dishes as well.
The food we got for takeout was very good. We enjoyed, the Chicken Tandoor, Lamb Vindaloo, Lamb Kofta, and Lamb Rogan Josh plus breads and condiments. I placed an advance order before hours on their website around 3:30.. Pickup at 7:30. At a little before 5, i noticed the email said pickup in 30min from when i submitted!? I called. A nice gentleman thought it was strange that I'd ordered for 4pm since they open at 5... I told him I ordered for 7:30, but the order app screwed up. He said OK 7:30... I got an email at 6:15 that our order was ready... I thought maybe they were starting it. Nope. The guy that took my phone call didn't tell anybody else. The person that was there joked about me ordering for 4pm and not picking up until 7:30... I was pissed. He offered to remake the order, but we had no time. Happily the stuff that was risky could be reheated when we got home. Beware their advance orders and risky food safety practices for anything you don't have to wait for.
Disappointing food. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. And there is better Indian food in Clifton Park. We ordered Butter Chicken and Lamb Rogan Josh. Both were spicier than they should be and also kind of bland (not spiced). We won't return.
We had the buffet. Naan was limited. The chicken in the dishes I tried was a bit dry and tough. The atmosphere wasn't comfortable. We likely will not eat in, again. I think the entrees are likely fresher and better than the buffet.
The taste of the food is good. However, do watch out for portions of any non-veg dish that you order. Make a note of how much quantity of chicken/lamb/goat you get versus the amount of curry. Especially watch out for these quantities when you order online vs when you dine in. You totally deserve to get your money’s worth and quantity of food. I’m taking off one star as I wasn’t cool with being fooled about for less chicken quantity in my dish.
Food had no salt in the matar paneer, palak paneer or bhindi masala and when telling the waiter/owner/manager, he said it’s less salt and simply gave us a salt shaker. Unfortunately my dear readers, the salt content was nonexistent. Dishes were quite bland and tasteless. Difficult to relax as he was practically sitting next to us. It was overpriced for its quality and ambiance. It should have been a red flag for us when we entered the restaurant and saw no other patrons!
Entered at 5 when the buffet opened. Bathrooms were very dirty with grease on the floor and doors. Food was alright but the restaurant could use at least a coat of paint if not a deep clean.
I just ordered samosa chaat from them. It was the worst samosa chaat. They served us Chana gravy instead of chaat. There was barely any samosa in it and was extremely tangy
I’ve loved this place for a while. I loved when it was Masala, and I just recently went there as Chatpata. Their food is delicious, and it didn’t taste off, however I got pretty bad food poisoning. Had to call out of work because I was in so much pain.
Food was old, fritters seemed to have been refried several times. They definitely didn’t know how to make a chat appetizer. Entree were bland without any flavor. Do not recommend - will not return.
I don’t know who in the right mind will give this restaurant 5 stars , we went on lunch buffet, the food had no good taste, the tandoori chicken was so dry and hard that was unable to chew, the white channay (garbanzo beans) were sweet instead of spicy or salty. The customer service was really bad we told the guy that we want new batch of tandoori chicken he went in and came back with nothing. Please don’t waste your time and money to eat there.
I was very disgusted with the quality of food. There was a weird crunch and it was a BUG! It was the worst I have tried in a long time. I will not be recommending or returning. I wish I had taken a pic but it was too late.
This is the worst Indian/Pakistani restaurant in the NY area. I ordered a chicken tikka, dal makhani, and naan. The order I got was COMPLETELY wrong. I got 2 orders of butter chicken and naan instead. I specifically asked for plates and utensils and don’t get those either. When I expressed my concern to the restaurant, I was told that “we are closing and cannot do anything”. I was not shown and sympathy or concern for the multiple mistakes they made. The cook that I talked to was not educated about the food he was making, nor did he understand my concern. He said the “gravy of dal makhani is red”. But to my knowledge the gravy of dal makhani is a brownish color. This shows that the restaurant uses the same gravy for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Whether you are vegetarian or non-vegetarian I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Do not waste your time, money or effort on these rude, illiterate and unworthy people.
we ordered beef qorma and chicken pyaza (Not actually chicken pyaza)and chicken chilli dry.Everything was stale. Not good experience + the chicken chilli dry was actually chicken manchurian. The smell in the restaurant was also not good. Not gonna try again
I eat a lot of Indian food and I am super dissatisfied with my experience here. I ordered takeout, quite a few meals. We got Malai kofta, korma paneer, samosas, chili chicken, chicken byriani, and naan. The Malai kofta: kofta itself was good, large, and I liked the raisins. The korma it was in tasted like it had dill in it? Not a fan, didn't mesh. It was also a very thin sauce. Korma paneer: paneer is cut very small, so it gets less chewy and more tough. The sauce is so thin and flavorless, idk if they don't use cream or what, but I don't like it. Samosas: filling was decent but the shell is chewy and the dough seems wrong. It's not crispy like it's fried, or light in anyway. It's almost too cracker crisp. Chili chicken: this was the best of what I got flavor wise, but the breading peeled off and I am not a fan of that. Chicken byriani: the spices and flavors were really good, but the rice itself is an atrocious texture. It is very mushy and is reminiscent of rice a roni. Rice texture is so critical for Indian food. Idk if they're not using basmati or they're overcooking it, or they're adding chicken broth to stretch it's life or what. Not a fan. The chicken was white meat but it was very dry and tough. Naan: I got the coconut filled one, pashmiri I think it's called? The naan dough is wrong, it's not light and airy. It has that flavor that Pillsbury canned dough tastes like, idk if it's an oil or what. Tamarind sauce: this was so so thin. I've had a lot of tamarind sauce and it is usually on the thicker side. This was like brown water. I don't like to insult, just giving my feedback here. It was expensive and it was supposed to be a special treat, and I felt like corners were cut but price wasn't. I won't be returning unless it was a fluke or something.
