Love the California club pizza. All of it is amazing. You cannot beat their crust. Just make sure you call ahead and reserve the dough. They are popular and can sell out on nice weekends!!! Holidays you will want to call a few days or a week in advance. It is WELL worth it. I took my best friend here after a trip to Fredricksburg and we were eating the left over pizza cold the next morning. We couldn’t let any of it go to waste.
An ABSOLUTE GEM within the lovely city of Comfort, TX! As a hill country native it’s a frequent escape for my family to enjoy some of the BEST pizza we’ve ever had! Workers are beyond pleasant and go above and beyond in the service industry! If you like spice, throw some of that 4-pepper FlatIron spice mix on your pizza, it’s amazing! I ordered 2 bottles as soon as our lunch was over! Keep it up guys!
I wasn’t sure what to expect, after only ever blasting through via the interstate. We decided to stop for pizza somewhere after leaving Fredericksburg and saw this on maps. Everything was so good! bathrooms are very clean, service is really friendly and good. The pizza was incredible. We didn’t realize how special it was to get pizza here until reading their signs about how much dough they have for a day and hearing other folks have a much longer wait. We got there at the right time. would go again 10/10
A Hidden Gem in Comfort! My family and I recently had an unexpected but delightful experience at a charming little pizza spot in Comfort. As we were passing through town, we stumbled upon this place, and I'm so glad we did! The highlight was their real thin wood-fired pizza, which was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. You can really tell that they take pride in their craft. What made our visit even more special was the wonderful young man who runs the place. His passion for pizza and dedication to customer service truly shone through. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. If you find yourself in Comfort, don’t miss out on this hidden gem. It’s a must-visit for any pizza lover! 🙌
If you know, you know! This is REAL pizza. My hunny and I were very impressed. I was a little irritated that they sold out the day we actually wanted to order our pizza and had to put in an order. BUT when I arrived there and picked up our pizzas, it felt kind of like being in a special club. 10 out of 10; would definitely recommend!
Hands down the best pizza I have ever had. If you are ever in or near Comfort, Texas… you gotta stop by this place. The outside seating is colorful and fun. If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars, I definitely would
I have been to Comfort Pizza numerous times while driving through Hill Country and I love it! The first time I ever heard of it I was just passing through and stopped and got lucky enough to get a pizza without reserving a crust around lunch time. I have never risked it again, if I’m going anywhere near Comfort, Texas I call, reserve my pizzas and arrive happy as a lark to eat the best pizza in Texas!
Best Pizza in Texas, let alone on the hill country! Whenever I come in town to visit family I make it a point to stop and get a pizza here. Make sure you make dough reservations before you go since they sell out, but it’s worth it! All of the seating is outdoors so plan accordingly with weather but its is also dog friendly so be sure to bring your furry friends. All of the staff are super friendly and I’m not sure how they do it but they time orders perfectly. Great location, fantastic food, what more do you need?
Delicious New York/Neopolitan style pizza. Great menu options and customizable of course. Gelato is good too. Very comfortable casual outdoor seating. Friendly folks. (Yes, we added pineapples once. Don't judge. It was tasty.)
If you're in town and are a fan of pizza you HAVE to check this place out. I am a pizza lover and I loved the pizza here. Everything about the pizza was awesome. The dough was nice and toasty but soft at the same time. It all felt authentic fresh. We had never had Prickly pear lemonade and it was so delicious. The workers were very welcoming, nice friendly people. The place has a nice vibe with an outdoor dog friendly seating area. Definitely can't wait to be back and check another pizza off the menu.
Delicious pizza! Arrived almost 7pm on a Saturday night. Ordered at the window and sat in the garden area. There are fans and misters to make the area more comfortable. When our pizza was ready, 7:30pm, they called my name. We ordered the Bubba, I believe it was called, Had alot of meats on it. Their pizzas are 14 inches and ours ran $25 because of the meats. Our whole dinner was wonderful. My husband went back on Sunday night and enjoyed a salad. He reported it hit the spot and he'd order it again. They also offer ice cream and a wide beer/wine selection.
Delicious pizza. Called in an order on New Years Day and drove in to pick it up. Staff were very helpful and pizza was awesome!!!
This is some of the best wood fired pizza you will ever have. I stop here as often as I can after bike rides in the area or if just passing through. Lots of great ingredients including local meats. Excellent crust. Many inventive menu choices or build your own. Specialty sodas, wines, beers, salads and gelato round out the menu. Gets busy on weekends so best to call ahead to order or see when the next available pizza time is and order if that time works for you. Not cheap but excellent high quality hand made pizza at a true local small business is worth the price. Atmosphere is fun, outdoor seating, umbrellas, lights, converted old filling station vibe, antique bike display, and friendly service.

Comfort Pizza in Comfort, Texas, is hands down the best pizza spot I’ve ever visited. This place is an absolute gem, tucked away in a town that’s as unique as its name. And let me tell you, in a state as vast as Texas—7.488 trillion square feet to be exact—Ty the Pizza Guy is THE best pizza chef you’ll find. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this isn’t just any pizza joint. Ty and his team are dedicated to their craft in a way that’s truly unparalleled. You can feel their passion in the air and taste it in every bite of their delicious creations. The pizza at Comfort Pizza is something you have to experience to believe. My go-to orders are the Ivan the Great, where I substitute Italian sausage with peppered ham, and the Sei Cheese. Both of these pizzas are out of this world. The crust is the perfect balance of crispy and chewy, and the toppings are always fresh and flavorful. Every bite is a testament to Ty’s skill and dedication. But it’s not just about the pizza. The salads are fresh and perfectly complement the meal, the beers are well-selected to go with the menu, and the homemade Gelato is the cherry on top. I’m a huge fan of their mint chocolate chip Gelato—it's the perfect end to an amazing meal. One piece of advice: call ahead. Comfort Pizza is popular, and for good reason. If you want to avoid a potential 45-minute wait for your pizza, it’s worth giving them a heads up before you head over. Comfort Pizza is more than just a place to eat; it’s a reason to visit Comfort. The town itself is charming and worth exploring, and a stop at Comfort Pizza makes the trip even better. Ty and his team create not just food, but an experience that’s memorable and satisfying. So if you’re in the area, make it a point to visit Comfort Pizza. Savor their incredible pizzas, enjoy a fresh salad, sip on a great beer, and don’t forget to finish off with their delicious Gelato. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. Bonus tip. If you're waiting, draft that review. It'll go a long way and save you some time later 😉

Dog-friendly, absolutely wonderful food, delightful experience!

Comfort Pizza is hands down one of the best spots in town. The wood-fired pizzas are incredible—crispy, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients that really shine. The setting is just as memorable, with its funky, retro vibe and outdoor seating that makes every visit feel like a little adventure. What I love most is how much character this place has—it’s not just about great pizza (though it is some of the best you’ll ever have), it’s about the experience of slowing down, enjoying the atmosphere, and sharing good food with friends. Comfort wouldn’t be the same without it.
Fantastic pizza, very cool establishment in a very cool town. Comfort deserves more visitors, and love, its a unique, cool little place, easily walkable. Pizza place: Great food, sit outside in the shade. Couldn't be better
I was in town two nights for work, and went both nights. The club pizza night one was divine. Amazing salad topping with base layer or meat and cheese awesomeness, hit the spot. Incredible craft beer selection. Night two I had Tys pizza, and met Ty. What a great entrepreneurial story. Staff takes pride in their service. Wished I could come back more often. Very chill and unique patio community vibe.
I love this spot - hand made everything - cool little hang out on their patio. Super nice beer list. A little on the high side price wise compared to some of the A+ pizza spots I've been to around the country, but with little competition in the area you are just going to pay it if you want great pizza with quality ingredients. You can go nearby and eat at other spots that are not as good at all for maybe a little less $. I can think of only one that compares over in Fredericksburg, and it's just as pricey. All that said, these guys really knock it out of the park and deserve to get paid for their efforts so if it's working out, great. Make sure to reserve ahead of time and call in your order with exactly the pizza you want or you may face lengthy wait times. If you order ahead, it'll be ready when they say it will be for sure. Which is nice.

Just as the name of the place, their pizza is truly comforting! Yum, delicious pizza! Their Basil & Garlic, Veggie, and Margherita is simply delicious! The Basil and Garlic adds flavor and enhances the taste. Do try and enjoy!
This was our second time at Comfort Pizza. Nice little eatery in Comfort, Texas. It's not the best pizza I've ever had but it gets the job done. A bit pricey but hey if it's good, it's good!
GREAT pizza if you can spare the price! The main downsides are no indoor seating, and potential wait times, but if you get in before the dinner rush, 20 minutes max (per pizza) for some delectable, fresh-cooked pizza is worth it! And they've got a great selection of gelato, ice cream, and alcohol in the meantime!
