Been here twice and I love this place. Their steamed dumplings are exquisite. Both the times we ordered the sizzling works and was delicious and this time we also tried Spicey Ramen and loved it too. I literally go crazy for their 6 plate pickled vegetables. Definitely recommend for vegetarians who are looking to try korean cuisine.
Was going on a nice walk in downtown Walnut Creek ready to go to my usual spots for lunch. That is until in the corner of my eye I saw this menu outside and decided to take a look. Never been to this place before but the prices seemed reasonable and the pictures looked good so I walked in. I got to say, Im glad I gave it a chance! Ordered the bibimbop with the “sizzling bowl” (an extra $2) and really enjoyed it. The meal came with what felt like a dozen appetizers for free and they said all meals come with that. They also refill them for free too. My favorite of these was the cilantro, whatever spices and sauces it had were delicious. The food itself was great. This sounds oddly specific but it’s got to be one of the most perfectly cooked eggs i’ve seen in my life. Not burnt on the bottom, yet the whites fully cooked. Slightly runny yolk. Breakfast diners don’t even cook eggs this perfectly so I had to point it out. The provided bottle sauce was slightly spicy so I only had a bit of it. Still tasted great and not overly spicy to where most people can’t tolerate it. Ended up asking for some soy sauce instead which fit my palette better. After my meal I needed a to go container since I was pretty filled up! That shows me it’s a solid portion size for what you’re paying for. After tax, 20% tip, and everything together, I walked out paying a flat $26 for a single person. I’d say that’s reasonable! Not cheap by any means, but competitive to the restaurants on the same block that go north of $30-35 per person. Service was great. Was seated instantly but to be fair it was almost empty when I went, close to 3pm when they close before dinner service. Not sure how packed they are at other times but I hope they are because they deserve it! The staff came by often to check in, refill water, refill the side appetizer thingies, etc. No complaints there. Atmosphere was nice. Nothing exceptional in terms of decor however I must say it was very very very clean. Funny enough I was sitting in a spot where I could see the rack of cleaning products and it was full of everything you could imagine. They definitely take cleaning seriously and everything was spotless and shiny. Overall I’m not saying it’s the best place in Walnut Creek or somewhere everyone should go all the time. But if you’re craving something different, something new, and something good, I don’t think you can go wrong here. Do what I did, take a detour, and just try it. You won’t regret it!
We had opportunity to eat lunch in here. The food was outstanding! Great service! Highly recommended. We will definitely come again.
The food is great! Our table ordered a number of dishes, and we liked them all. Pictured are the spicy rice cakes and over the grill chicken. Service was also great. The waitress brought us a pitcher of water (upon request) so that we could refill our own cups. Highly recommend since the cups are small and the food is deliciously spicy. Would definitely visit again.
Really friendly and attentive service, jajangmyeon and iced tea was alright but bibimbap was really good! Overall 4.5/5 stars!
This is a wonderful place for a delicious dinner. I ordered dolsot (bibimbat in a heated crockery bowl) and it was prepared perfectly. You get to choose the type of rice and the type of protein. I was surprised that this came with soup and a nice selection of banjan (vegetable side dishes). I ate every bit, which was quite a filling meal. It is a slightly “Americanized “ Korean restaurant, but that is ok. Servers were very pleasant and attentive, and they offered to bring more banjan if I wanted.
Good service, exceptional food. I would come here every day during the winter if I could for some warm ramen! Food is served in cool looking boiling stone bowls and cast iron pans.
Hard to believe, excellent Korean food can be found in Walnut Creek. Mixed Grain is my favorite Bay Area Korean restaurant. I have been eating both lunch and dinner since they opened in 2012. Great variety of banchans (which definitely ask for refills) to start with. Both Bibimbap (ceramic bowl and Dolsot) and Tofu Stews are delicious. Be sure to order the purple rice with your meal, not many Korean restaurants offer this kind of mixed grain rice. "Angry Bird Escapes the Volcano" is definitely both an epicurean (spicy chicken) and visual delight (thick, bubbling roasted potato soup with a fiery kick) on a cold, dreary day. Love their barley teas. Service is mellow. Metered downtown Walnut Creek street parking.
Delicious Korean food!! The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Such a nice environment to enjoy some delicious, hot food in the winter. Thank you!
So many delicious vegetarian options! I adore the fresh appetizers they give you. My favorites are the tofu bibimbap and the sizzling works. Highly recommend!
Very nice place. The food was delicious, especially bibimbab with purple rice. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Mixed Grain is our go-to place for Korean food when we’re around Walnut Creek in the East Bay. The variety of food is awesome and always filling. If you’re only ordering one thing make sure it’s the Sizzling clay pot Bibimbap as it’s one of their specialties. They are located in Dow town Walnut Creek so there is plenty of parking nearby on the streets and garages. Prices are really affordable here, would recommend!

This place has amazing food and the service is great. A family favorite and we go at least once a month.
DA BEST! Great little Korean spot in Walnut Creek. Sizzling purple rice is simply awesome. The Banchan (side dishes) here are my favorites.
Love this place! Everything I’ve tried on the menu is so good and the staff is very friendly. There are also parking garages near by which makes parking not a headache. Overall 10/10 experience.
What a surprise and very delectable Korean restaurant by the Steinway piano gallery in Walnut Creek!!! Loves their bibim bowls with spicy pork and thin sliced beef! Highly recommend if u are visiting downtown Walnut Creek. 👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗
I've been here twice for dinner and both times the food was excellent. Service is quick, which is a plus. Would definitely recommend this restaurant, you won't be disappointed.
Still the best. The food is superlative and people there are so efficient and nice. I asked how the kale side was seasoned and the waitress actually had the kitchen write it down for me. Totally above and beyond.
BBQ Kalbi beef is juicy and tender. Get the mini plate so you can sample more dishes. Organic Pinkus beer from Germany is a nice surprise, but excellent pairing.
We had wonderful lunch. The portions are hearty and very tasty. The place is bright and airy, and the service is very tentative. I'll deffenetly will come back.
Just finished up a meal here. We stumbled right on this place, parked nearby with the intent of going elsewhere—but the aroma coming from this cute little restaurant caught our attention. So glad we decided to follow our nose to this spectacular place. Great service. They brought out our kids food right away. We enjoyed the rice cakes and jhap chae. Phenomenal. Came out hot. All the sides were fire. The dishware was also complimentary. I will come back and do highly recommend this gem
Absolutely delicious! I get the spicy pork and a side of white rice. The meat is so tender and has a lot of flavor. The beef dumplings are really yummy as well. My boyfriend bad the spicy ramen and he loved it. Will definitely return many times! :))
This is my absolute favorite Korean restaurant! The portions are large and many things are customizable with a protein of your choice. Furthermore, they also have lots of vegan options. It really is a restaurant for everyone. The food is very flavorful and can be made rather spicy (if desired). The staff have always been attentive and incredibly friendly. This place is definitely one of my regular restaurants!
Such an amazing restaurant with such nice people! They have a overflowing waitlist for a reason. . I've been there many times, and the Korean Noodle Soup and the Dolsot is the best! So vegetarian and accommodating. The people who work there are so kind, and their food is always great! I would definitely recommend Mixed Grain to anyone who has a taste for food!
Is one of my favorite places for Korean BBQ in the area. Their bibimbap and sides are consistent and absolutely delicious. The wait is never too long and always worth it. I really enjoy the purple combination rice that they serve as well as their spicy chicken dish
Excellent service and the food was amazing. Started with fried shrimp dumplings and chicken wings both excellent. Next was the spicy Ramon and Bi Bim Bap, fabulous. We als tried a couple Korean beers. We will definitely be back soon. For the next trip I tried the Spicy Chicken Birds Nest “Five Alarm FIRE”. I didn’t believe it would be this hot but I’m currently burning up. Very tasty but not for the faint of heart.
The Spicy Pork w/ Purple Rice Works is tasty and good portion. The Spicy Korean Wings are the best wings anywhere. I could order 2 of those and call it dinner. The wings are listed as an appetizer but you get a good amount. The flavor and texture is amazing.
My favorite spot! I love that they have vegan labeled items and the customer service is great! They are quick and most importantly, the food is AMAZING. I love that they have multiple vegan options but I hate that I can't get them all at once. It's all so delicious! My favorite is Kimchi Stew and Kimchi Pancakes
Very friendly. Very clean. The quality of the food tops Korea House and Korean BBQ Plus in concord and they have a good amount of choices in the menu including flavored soju! I was with friends looking for food and called less than half an hour before closing if they would accommodate a party of eight and they kept the kitchen open for us!
Love this place. I've never had purple rice before, omg, its delicious. The short ribs were tender and delicious and the many condiments made every bite a new burst of deliciousness. Minimal wait and very clean .
What a great experience. The food was excellent. The employees were so attentive and kind. It was very clean as well. Highly recommend them!
This place serves Korean food with a slight modern twist. I think the food is authentic and very tasty. The servers are helpful if you are not familiar with Korean cuisine. There is only street parking which can be a challenge. I recommend this restaurant.
When visiting from out of state, first stop is Mixed Grain. Super fresh and delicious Korean food. Amazing service and everything is always so delicious! Tofu soup is one of my favorites! Wings are amazing as well!
This was an accidental find on the way to another restaurant. I looked in the window of the unassuming restaurant and saw this delicious food! I wanted to try it and did. After all my travels around the world, this is probably the top 10 best foods I have tasted ever. The best kept secret! Healthy, delicious and a must have. We had the Sizzling works with purple rice and the Soft Tofu bowl. Paired with the Ferrari Chardonnay and the Korean beer, this was heaven. I cannot wait to go again and am scared this will become way too popular!
Their food is always so great! Love the spicy chicken, tofu spicy soup, and chicken wings with soy garlic sauce.
At heart this restaurant is a Korean restaurant, but one with many more options than the usual. We usually get the dolsot bibimbap, which I like with beef and their tasty purple rice. We also like their spicy tofu soup with mushrooms, beef and sometimes dumplings. We don’t get the seafood anymore — the quantities were a bit skimpy. The side dishes change frequently and are always tasty. Bring your appetite.
The food is perfect + excellent customer service! They give you each a dumdum lollipop after, which i thought was cute. Only problem: a bit pricey. It's gonna be a lot of food though, so it's worth it.
Enjoyed lunch here several weeks ago. Tried the dolsot with purple rice and beef. It came with soup and several banchan (side dishes); I mixed in the cilantro one because I thought it complemented the dish so well. Will definitely return.
my favorite restaurant because I love the firebird’s nest & i could live off the broccoli that comes in the side dishes, however, the service isn’t aways the best as well as the expensive prices. I think the reason that people go is because of the delicious food.
Clearly marked vegan options, endless side dishes, and the stew was out of this world! The noodle dish was phenomenal, as were all the side dishes, but the Korean pancakes are painfully lacking (if you've ever had Korean pancakes before, don't get your hopes up; these are the dry tiny distant cousins of what you'd expect). Other than that, one of the best meals I've ever had!
Excellent Korean food, with banchan and friendly service. The spicy beef noodle soup is great. Definitely recommend.
Very delicious. Was a friend recommendation. I became addicted. I loved bibmbap with complementarykimchi and miso soup.
Delicious lunch of jaep chae, kimchi pancake, and lots of sides. We also got ginseng barley tea and ginger barley tea, both warm. The outdoor seating had shaded and unshaded tables, and also propane heaters. Convenient location, easy parking nearby if needed. I would eat here again.
Cute, hidden Korean spot with delicious food. Great selection of hamchan with the meal.
The food was delicious! My 8yrs old son, who is usually quite picky about what he eats, loved it so much that he wants to make a 45-minute drive just to return there. It’s clear that he was really impressed with the meal!
We frequent Mixed Grain in Walnut Creek and it never disappoints. The service is consistently awesome, and the food is hands-down the best Korean we’ve tried. Every visit is marked by fast, organized service and spotlessly clean surroundings. The bibimbap is a standout, and everything we’ve tried has been delicious. It’s consistently top-notch—our go-to Korean restaurant without a doubt.
Delicious, well prepared, fresh and very satisfying. The tastiest Korean restaurant in Walnut Creek in my opinion.
Very nice establishment!!! Great Food and variety. Staff was very attentive and professional!!!
Regular at mixed grain been 15+ times. Best bibimbap around! Amazing food, highly recommend
BibimBob was hot and delicious. Not much spicy though. Service was great. Parking is a pain.
Food here always satisfies. I'm not an expert on Korean cuisine so I go for tried and tested dishes like spicy Kimchi fried rice. Very delicious, they adjust spice and heat to your liking. Ask for the super hot Korean sauce on the side. It's really hot and I love it. The hot bibimbap dolsot is also very satisfying..
I rate the spicy ramen a 9/10 , just because things can always improve. I give 5 stars because 4/5 is only 80%, and rating it that wouldn’t feel right. The restaurant was very nice and had and funky smell, but that doesn’t matter. Service and food was absolutely amazing, i loved the presentation of boiling food in a stone bowl ( be careful don’t burn yourself! ). The only problem i had with this restaurant was not coming more hungry. They also give you sweet lolipops to soothe your mouth after eating all the spicy food, it is perfect.
Excellent food & service with sweetly seasoned side dishes. Highly recommend their Dolsot Bibimbap!
Absolutely wonderful An amazing place to eat it hits the spot every time, Their chili wings are a go to each and every time I have a two year-old and a three year-old and they absolutely love coming to eat here their children’s plates are amazing. Their sized beef is absolutely amazing and their spicy noodles are a go to.
Very good Korean place will definitely come back again. Their sweet spicy chicken wings were so juicy. Steamed dumplings and seafood pancakes were amazing. My husband really liked the grilled beef short ribs

The ban Chand were great! Love the cilantro kimchi! The spicy beef was not spicy at all even I ordered médium. Wanna try chicken next time 😂 (Update : the Korean noodle soup and kimchi fried rice was great!! )
This is located in the heart of downtown Walnut Creek. So of course you will find parking. There’s a couple of garage parking nearby. I love Korean cuisine, so I was happy to try this one. My go to dish is the KALBI ribs, I order it all the time at any Korean restaurant. My kalbi came out sizzling which is to be expected. It looked so beautiful I couldn’t wait to take a bit of it. and it was good! It was hot, it was tender and oh so tasty. I loved all the side dishes but i wish they had more variety. Like anchovies with jalapeño and spicy potatoes (just a suggestion:)). Oh by the way we ordered crispy chicken wings with sweet and tangy sauce. I love it the chicken is so crispy outside and hot and tender inside and that’s how these were, so good! My friend also ordered the bibimbop which had about 12 different kinds of ingredients. Serve over rice is a bed of spinach, mushroom, julienned carrots, and bean sprouts with seasonal vegetables and more. So Yumm! This is a good vegetarian option. Our server was nice, she kept our water cups filled. And gave us good recommendations on what to order.
This hole-in-the-wall Korean food is simply amazing! I've never had such wonderful tastes from such a complex dish. Everythi g was fresh and cooked to perfection. I especially loved the wording on the menu that was easily readable and witty. Simple choices that made for a very filling and satisfying dish that left you over full yet wanting more. Only 4 stars due to the lack of service. We were sat and served then left to our own with empty drinks and parched youngest. We had to find a waiter to get our bill. But that aside, the food more than makes up for the lack of service. Will DEFINITELY go again!!!!

all the food was amazing. i had the rice cakes and their spicy ramen and both were great as well as the vegetarian dolsot. their service was slightly lacking in experience and their wait staff seemed very quiet. overall would definitely go again!

Surprisingly decent Korean food for being in Walnut Creek. I just can’t justify eating here for 1.5-2x markup just because it’s in downtown Walnut Creek. Considering it’s the only option for Korean food in Walnut Creek, I will only go if I’m desperately craving it during lunch. Otherwise, I’d much rather go in Concord if I can’t make my way to Oakland.
Had an order of the Bibimbap (~$12): purple rice & 11 raw vegetables (including carrot, spinach, bean sprout, cucumber, zucchini, mushroom, radish, lettuce and purple cabbage) topped with egg and served with Kimchi. Food was delicious, staff was fashionable, and the ambiance was snug.
First time at Mixed Grain. The short ribs are outstanding and the side dishes are excellent. Great and attentive service as well. Just a bit on the pricey side however.
Order takeout a few time and sat down once. It’s a good place, can be busy and maybe not staffed correctly. A little wait at times, and tables that need to be bussed. Food has always been great.
This is very good Korean restaurant. No self BBQ but the kitchen prepared BBQ is very good. One of the few places in Walnut Creek to get your spice kick on
I enjoy eating at Mixed Grain as the food is generally good. Be careful what you order especially if it's on the spicier side. While it is excellent it might be a bit more than you can handle if you aren't used to eating extraordinarily spicy dishes. I can't in good conscience give this place more than four stars. All the food is good but the prices are outrageous for what you're receiving. Korean barbecue is always expensive but for the money you'll pay here you can get a much fancier meal elsewhere.
Beepnboop w/ purple rice was great. Beef ribs fantastic. Seafood pancake was yummy. Rice cake dish was sweeter than spicy. Traditional flavor as I’ve been told. Was not for me. Fried calamari rings I’d say don’t order. Not good.
This has been one of our go to places when we want good healthy food without breaking the bank. It is Korean comfort food. Recently the owner sold this to another owner and although it has the same menu I think something was lacking in the flavors. It was OK, not great. I'll give it another try.
Food quality is good, however it is somewhat expensive for the quantity of food that you get. Much cleaner and more modern than your typical Korean BBQ place. Suggestion to management: Offer a lunch menu / special, as this is a popular place for the many professionals that work in the walnut creek area.
This is a nice little Korean place in downtown Walnut Creek. They're bright and clean, and their banchan is actually pretty good (our favs being the glazed, fried potato, and the kale salad). Both times we ordered a dolsot bibimbop, but both times the rice never turned crispy, even letting it sit and sizzle for five minutes. It was still yummy, just would order regular bibimbap if there's not going to be a difference in the crispiness. Their seafood pancake is pretty tasty, but expensive for the small portion. Their spicy tofu soup is always satisfying. Overall, if you don't want to venture beyond the Berkeley hills for some authentic Korean, this would hit the spot just well enough. The only con is the portion sizes are a little small, and the prices are a little high.
I had the kimchi fried rice, and it was quite good. The actual side of kimchi, however, was not. Kimchi cabbage tasted like a mouthful of beer, so powerful that almost no other spice could be tasted. As someone who does not drink any alcohol, this mouthful of what tasted like pure beer was just awful.
This place has great food that comes out fast. Great menu and attentive service. I really wish they didn’t close for 2 hours in the middle of the day. I can’t count how many times we wanted to go but didn’t want to wait until 5pm and chose another restaurant.
As a vegetarian, I really like the food here. The sides are yummy and fun too. The service is ok, better when they are not very busy, but I don't blame the servers. They are running nonstop. Management should add another sever on busy nights, like Saturdays.

When we first went to this place about a year ago we thought the food was delicious as it reminded us of the food we ate when we lived in Korea for two years. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we raved about it to two of our Korean American friends and brought them to try it a few months ago. Unfortunately, the quality seemed to have dropped precipitously and we were really disappointed as it made us look like we had bad taste. This place still isn’t bad but it’s definitely not top of our list anymore.
The food is great when you first eat it, but after eating it 2-3 times it gets bland quick. Drinks are OK but theyre the only place in Walnut creek that has these delicious ice cream waffle fish. If you want desert with your food, the waffle fish is the way to go
The food was good, but the atmosphere was disappointing. We were seated indoors near the kitchen, and the staff was cleaning the bathroom with the door left open. The strong smell of Clorox filled the restaurant, making it difficult to enjoy the meal and ultimately causing me to lose my appetite.
The food tasted like it came from the frozen section. Mung bean pancakes were too chewy, tteokbokki was so oily and watery. Whoever cooked the food here needs to familiarize themself with real Korean cooking. It was just edible.
Food has gone downhill, I think. Prices way too high for the quality of food. And the service is ok, but they don't bring kimchee before the meal, even when asked multiple times, and don't replenish... My dish was clearly reheated- not sizzling at all, and came out 5 minutes before others. Very disappointing.
Food is ok but mandatory 10% tip for take out is wrong. Why charge more especially for takeout? Price the food accordingly & pay your staff more vs having extra side charges for takeouts.
We have been going to this place for over 4 years, couple of times each month, so I can say we are regulars. We love the food and service here but after tonight I am contemplating if I ever wanna go there. The waitress Atisa ( I believe that was her name, she’s new) was the rudest waitress I’ve seen. We asked for a table for two but I told her we have a baby in a stroller please consider that so we won’t block other customers space. She said no problem wait 5 minutes. A perfect spot with good space for our stroller opened up and she cleaned it, as we are waiting another couple walks in and she tells them to sit there!!! I went in and told her we have been waiting here for a table and she says sorry we have no space for you tonight!! I talked to the manger and told them the story, luckily the other couple were nice enough to seat at a different table so we could be seated at the table with proper space for our stroller. But Atisa is not made for this job she can’t manage customers, hope she leaves cause we don’t want her serving us!
Had a very bad experience here. Seven of us went during dinner time and it was full (I don’t understand why they are putting 2 people on a 4people table and 3 people on the 8people table when there are 2 tables for 2 were empty) but we totally can wait. Until one of the workers telling us with her loud voice across from the restaurant saying,” can you wait outside!” It was a very cold night and she did not even said politely. Yelling straight at us to kick us out! Never going to eat at this restaurant ever again.
The rating is purely for their service, or lack of since I wasn't able to try their food. I was wanting a quick bite and thought I'd always wanted to try mixed grain, bad idea! The sign on the door said they close at 3, there were still 4 tables inside. I walked in and the lady rudely says they are closed. What? Your sign says closed at 3 it was 2:20 pm. Horrible customer service!!! Sorry your customers get in the way of your personal time! I can understand if she said sorry we can only do take out now since we are closing in 20 minutes but no just a rude we're closed. Guess you'll never get my money! I'm so offended, I'll never come back! Maybe you need to change your sign.
Unbelievable and completely blown away by they way this restaurant treat their customers! I am a repeat customer and have been here many times. This evening we ordered chicken wings with sauce on the side which we have ordered many times successfully (sauce is too spicy for my son) and some other items from this restaurant and came home to find that there was sauce on our order of wings. I called back to let them know so that we can bring back my order since my son cannot eat spicy food. The gentleman that took my order started getting defensive and said "I repeated your order back to you when you ordered" and then he proceeded to relay that he specifically stated that there IS sauce on the wings which was complete BS and he basically he could not do anything about it. We went back and forth and I expressed how disappointed I was that they were not even willing to correct their mistake which we had to throw away. I then asked to speak with the owner and he hung up on me!!!! Can you believe that?!?!? I called back and asked the person that picked up the call (I believe another gentleman but possibly the same person?) explained my situation and requested the name of the person that I initially spoke with. He then proceeded to tell me that he cannot release that information to me because that is "confidential" and also he is a new employee and do not want to get him in trouble. Ok, fine, can I have your name? I asked. He would not give that to me. Again UNBELIEVABLE! I then asked for the owner's name so that I can speak with them. Next answer is just mind-blowing...."There are multiple owners..." Well give me one!! I said...and again he kept repeating "Well...there are multiple owners. At this point I am just flabbergasted! I then started to demand a name and the gentleman then started to say your phone call is now choppy and your voice is too high pitched. WOW!!! Then he put the phone down and started speaking with another person. OMG!!!!!! It's really a shame that they are located in the hub of so many great restaurants where customer service is at a forefront but NOT these guys! All they had to say was my apologies, can you please bring your order back and we will remake it for you? I would have been completely satisfied with that. I was not even expecting a refund! Their employees are obviously poorly managed and need better training. We will NOT be supporting this business any longer. Why go and support a restaurant that has no regard to their service?d We WILL be making sure to share our experience to all of our peers as well. BTW, there are so many great korean restaurants that does not have this kind of rookie service. Jonga House in Oakland, Ohgane in Concord & Oakland, Moa in Pleasant Hill, and now Gen Korean bbq in Concord.
Unfortunately the quality at this place seems to have slipped a lot since I last came here. Too busy maybe. I asked for a seafood pancake, they brought out a kimchi pancake, and when I told them they brought the wrong thing they asked if I could “just eat it instead”. So rude! They also told me the kitchen was closed and they couldn’t make another one even though they just sat down a couple right next to us. After that, we ordered a bowl which never came out that they SERVED TO SOMEONE ELSE and they had the nerve to try and move it from their table to our table. Oh well...I would suggest monument for a more authentic experience + better food at cheaper prices. 🤷♂️
The Works is decent but the beef noodle soup is watery and other dishes are sub-par. Way over-priced for what you get. The waitress treats you like a leper and didn't feel very welcome.
I am a fan of Korean food and have eaten it from multiple countries and cities. But, this was the worst korean food I’ve ever eaten. I have never tasted food this bland and disgusting. Everything felt like it was reheated multiple times. Any Korean would be disgraced by the food they serve under their country.
The food was way worse than the prior times we have visited. The service was awful as well. Not only did they spill my soup on the table without an apology or even offering to clean it. . . On top of that the chop sticks needed to be sent back because of how dirty it was which makes me question the cleanliness of the place. The place itself is nice but the food was bad and the service was ridiculous. The only one who received good portion of meat was the person who ordered pork. For everyone else who ordered beef, we were given tiny bits of beef so that it looked like it was more but it was such a small overall portion. The server was very slow and also was rude when handing out the food. Due to this we left without a tip because this was a very disappointing experience and it was mind-blowing. Mind you, we were still sitting at the table and putting our food in to go boxes because we couldnt even get ourself to finish the food and the bill was set in the middle of the table yet the server just swooped by quickly to check how much tip was given. Following this, the manager came by to confront us about the tip and would not leave the table even after we explained the reasoning. This not only made the experience bad but also even worse when she made it awkward. I was honestly glad that I was able to explain how bad everything was but its kinda wild that she came over saying that we should tip even despite all the above
Came at 2:05- 55 minutes before closing and was highly rushed to order around 2:25 because I was told they were closing soon. 5 minutes after I ordered, they allowed a new table of customers to come in and sit down to order. Meat is extremely fatty and I asked before ordering about the cuts but was not warned- I would not come here again
Service is nice, but the quality of food is gone super downhill. I don’t know if they’ve changed chefs or if it’s new ownership but I’ve been eating here for 18 years and I can say the last two times I’ve been here not only is it over priced, but the quality is just not there. . Time to find a new place kinda sad
The sign literally says Closes at 9:30pm. The Staff wanted to close early so they said at, 8:30pm, they will be closing soon, and you'd have to order your food without viewing a menu. I ordered my food for dine in and then they started cleaning the floors with bleach, so I wouldn't stay.. I ended up taking my food to go
