I love the food here. We had the cheese dip, enchiladas supremas, shrimp fajita nachos, and combination fajitas. It was all very good. I come here often and the food is very consistent in quality. I don’t think I’ve eaten anything bad from there. When I go, my server usually ends up being Pepe. He is very punctual in checking on you and quick for drink refills. We always love getting him as our server. The atmosphere is great too. Just what you’d want from a Mexican restaurant. Well decorated and always has music at a good volume. I would give this place 10/5 stars if I could.
Food is always good. Everything was sizzling hot off the plate. Taste was excellent.
Wonderful place to eat and enjoy. Service is top notch. My go to.
The happy hour is amazing and they're always patient and friendly w my family. My son is a lot and I always appreciate the attentive understanding staff. The shorter Latino w the glasses will always get a awesome tip from us. Love this restaurant and their atmosphere here
I finally had a meal at Tio’s! It was great. I do love Mexican food!! They have great spicy salsa. I just had the rice, chicken and cheese but it was great. Drinks were good and the rest of the table of 6 all clean there plates. A lot of food and good atmosphere. I’ll be back. And they have a drive thru.
The food was amazing! I got the steak fajitas and they were so good! Also, they have the best guacamole I've ever had! I was very pleased with the portions and pricing as well! I'm from Alabama, but I will definitely be going back to Tio's the next time I'm in Conway visiting with family!
We eat at Tio's a couple of times a week. I have tried several dishes so far and everything is always very good. I have a dairy allergy and they always accommodate properly. They have the good fajita meat, where they cut it into skinny little strips. Some places use chunks. I ordered the chimichanga with ground beef although that's not an option on the menu. The ground beef is the best, I swear it is.
I was very surprised with not only the prices but Aldo the amount t of food that we received. My husband got the beef chimichangas, and I got the make your own combination plate and you must choose four items to build your plate so I choose a hard taco, Chile relino, tostada, and chili con queso covered in a white cheese sauce on top. It was so good. It took a lot longer than it should for the waiter to finally come and take our order but other than that it was really good food, and it came out hot and delicious and the prices were absolutely fantastic also. We had a great date night and I can't wait to go back and try some more soon!!!
A quaint little place with fast friendly service and delicious food. Tio's is your typical small, maybe family-owned Mexican restaurant. There's the usual Mexican inspired decorations, spanish music in the background and all the foods we know and love are on the menu (photos included). However this is the first time I've seen a drive-thru at a Mexican restaurant. Yeah, you will see this at some of the chain restaurants but I don't consider that Mexican. This made me wonder if the food was precooked, but nevertheless it was still good. There was nothing that stood out as exceptional and that's the reason I gave it four stars instead of five. I would recommend it if you're in the mood for Mexican food, there won't be any surprises.
Salsa is decent, rice tasted like it was that rice you get out of those minute bags and microwave, fajitas were borderline meh, really bland, I think someone lost the salt shaker or forgot what seasoning was. I give 3 stars cause at least they have tecate and the service was good, everything else was just bland and boring. Wouldn’t probably come back.
Restaurant was clean and food was good. Will go back but will not be a regular stop for us. Service was slow and they brought out meals one at a time almost 10mins from the time the first of three people at the table got their meal to the last meals where ordered at the same time on the same ticket.
I don't know how this restaurant garnished a 4.4 rating, but giving it a 2 is generous. I stopped by and ordered chili Verde to go. It took about 12 minutes, which is very reasonable. The price was reasonable also and about average. However, the Verde was not chunks of pork, as it should be, but sort of shredded up and there was not really any Verde sauce visible. It was extremely salty and difficult to eat. The refried beans were not very good and the rice was so-so. It also had green peas in it for some ungodly reason and they looked shriveled up like they were old. The salsa isn't really salsa, but a watery concoction without any texture and no spice at all to it. It is really pretty much like tomato juice. Having lived in LA for 26 years before moving here, I know a bit about how good Mexican food is. This isn't it. (See the comparison photo for real chili verde)
The worst Mexican place i ever ate at, warm beer terrible food, tried to tell the waitress but she just looked at me and walk off, waste of money,
Ordered lunch beef nachos. Expected toppings as well. Tomatoes , onions , peppers, olives, even lettuce, sour cream, ...not just the big plate of chips and cheese with beef that i got. Do you suppose to ask for toppings? I was lost when I googled images for Tios beef nachos and it had toppings. I was disappointed maybe I should have asked instead of just going with what they gave me. Felt a bit cheated. Whats the best way to correct a order and not be concerned that they get upset & not redo order properly? Jan. 2026 visit.
My daughter and I had a nice lunch and got behind two elderly men, probably in their 80’s trying to check out. One of the men was trying to argue with the cashier about how much he was charged, but the elderly man wasn’t irate or anything…when a very large man, I’m assuming a manager or the owner, walked up behind the cashier and told the older gentleman to “…get out of here with that bullshit. We didn’t overcharge you, man!” He never tried to talk to the man calmly to find out exactly what his complaint was, he just kept telling the elderly man several times to “get outta here with that bullshit! The customer isn’t always right!” So, the elderly man asked how he wanted to handle things “Do you want to go out in the parking lot or what?” And, the manager actually said “Yeah, let’s go!” I honestly thought I was going to have to call the cops because the manager/owner was about to beat the crap out of an elderly man. It was the most outrageous and unprofessional thing I’ve ever seen or heard and I’m from Memphis, so I’ve seen a lot of crazy things… The poor elderly man came to his senses, because he finally just said he’d pay them, but he wasn’t ever coming back and left. Then, the guy just stood there laughing about it…. It takes a pretty small little insecure man to think it’s funny that he cursed out and threatened to beat up an elderly person. I was floored, so I just paid them and left.
