We visited yesterday and our visit was very good! The food was great and the restaurant was very clean! Bathrooms were clean as well which is a huge bonus in my book! Especially when I have to take my kids there! I hate having to clean the toilets before they use them. Everything seemed to flow very well!
i had an awesome time here it was amazing food and amazing music it was calm and my waiter was so nice and friendly i felt welcomed and loved (my waiters name was iain) you should for sure come visit next time you want a good meal
I was looking forward to my weekly nashville hot chicken sandwich, and I was met by the zestiest server in their lineup. He was so uplifting when I spoke to him! I believe his name was Jackson. He was so amazing. He even got them to put my sandwich on sourdough. I left very satisfied with my food AND service, thanks to Jackson.
It wasn’t very clean, on the booths and walls you can see dirt build up, I have worked I Restaurant for many years, if we weren’t busy, we were cleaning. I feel every restaurant should have “if you lean, you clean policy” just how I was taught.
Haven't been to Denny's forever. Will definitely be going back again soon. Pancakes were so delicious. Super Slam was only $5.99, and I got 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, and hash browns. Service was good, food was good.
TLDR: Warm, well lit, clean, quick, and friendly. I showed up on Saturday at midnight. I was the only one there. The team greeted me at the door and seated me right away. After bringing my drink, the server asked if I knew what I wanted. I said that I usually get the same thing. I knew I wanted pancakes but I didn't know what else. The server suggested the new special. I ordered that. The order was out quickly. Everything was quite good. The server checked on me at five to eight minute intervals. They provided the check after the first refill, so I wouldn't need to wait. Checkout was quick and easy. My only complaint is that the pancakes could have been a little darker. 30 more seconds or so. Otherwise it was a great experience.
We came in a few nights ago and Ginger gave us the best experience. She was sweet and attentive and took incredible care of us. made us feel at home, and made sure our kids had a great time too. All whole serving the whole restaurant by herself. Will be back to see her!
We got a free stack of pancakes from T-Mobile so we decided that would be V-day dinner. The manager (I think) Tamara was our waitress and she was awesome. She had music playing over the speakers from her phone and her playlist was incredible. I danced the whole time I was there 🤣. The food was delicious as always, and they always make perfect hash browns. This is my favorite location!
Restaurant was spotlessly clean. Staff was attentive and friendly. The food was perfectly cooked. I ordered off of their value menu and it was great. I still can't believe I had this level of dining at a Denny's and for 4 bucks. I tipped more than the cost of the meal and I'm stingy. Maybe I was just lucky today but goodness that was awesome.
EXCELLENT SERVICE!! The waitress we had is Angelina, keep her!!!! She was friendly, always smiling, very helpful with suggestions and knew what she was doing. She is definitely an asset to your company. The food was really good and we look forward to returning. We love breakfast and great service!
Ok last time I was here it was horrible. In fact the last 3 times were identical. However that was more than 4 years ago and it's why I waited so long to give this place another try but this time it was much better top to bottom . Even when there was confusion in the order it was quickly resolved, we didn't have to ask for refills this time or wait forever for service or get a different server to help us because ours was busy on their phone or otherwise. I will be back to this Denny's now . Full 180 guys superb job!
My wife and kids have been recurring customers for 10 month now (since we moved to Corinth) and we really enjoy the food as well as the service. It is nice to return and see the same welcoming faces each time, I recommend the grand slam sandwich I add jalapeños and chorizo and it's bomb every time 💯
My wife and I have been Dennys customers for over 50 years. We went to Denny's in Corinth for breakfast, it was our 57th Wedding anniversary and once again, we were not disappointed.
We dined on a Saturday night (6/1/19) and it wasn’t super busy (maybe because it was raining outside). However, our server, Troy, was nice and attentive. He kept our drinks filled and checked on us to make sure all of our food tasted good. It was my son’s birthday so I ordered a cheesecake and asked if he could put a candle on it for us and he did. His manager and him came out singing with us. Thank you, Troy, for participating in our birthday shenanigans =)
We went there and came as 5 people. My waitress came and sat us down but out of the corner of my eye I saw her run to the bathroom. A moment later a different gentleman name was Jackson came over and grabs are drinks for us claiming he wasn’t the waiter but the cook in training. 5 minutes later the manager decided to come up and take our order. I saw the young girl decided to go home maybe she was sick or something but the point of this review is nothing about that. The cook and manager decided to take our order with a smile and no complaints to help a girl out. They still joked with us and had fun with us even when our waitress went sick. Amazing job !
Enjoyed our meal so much. Kristi even came to help us with serving as they were very busy. She is the General Manager and made sure all the lobby was handled properly and everyone was satisfied. Definitely suggest dining here with your family.
Our visit earlier today was interesting to say the least. We were grabbing a bite to eat and witnessed something strange but was handled very professionally! So it seems that one of the servers was having an issue and was yelling at his manager… and then he proceeded to walk out! The manager then made sure the disruption wasn’t affecting our visit and apologized sincerely! Then proceeded to help her servers make up for that server walking out! Way to step up and help your employees out so they don’t feel the stress of what happened!
Jackson is THE BEST server i’ve had. I laughed til food was spit onto the table. i hope every time i come here jackson is my server. quite the guy. food was great & they were all so nice. i love the manager as well & this was definitely a 10/10 experience
Best Dennys I have been to in such a long time. My server Jackson gave the best customer service it was a busy Sunday and he handled everything perfectly! The food was hot and delicious and came out in no time they definitely have some experienced cooks back there. The GM Kristi was so attentive walking around filling up coffees, checking in with customers, and even running food for her busy servers! Overall this place exhibits amazing teamwork, cleanliness, and exceptional customer service.
Great fast food and service was so good
Teresa was great! Very communicative and proactive in her service despite the cold front that came in. Wonderful service, was very accommodating. Would recommend this Denny’s over any other in the DFW area.
Good food and not a lot of people. Exactly what I was looking for.
We ate a late breakfast after church today. Iove that they still have the $5.99 grand slam! Our server was a high-school-aged boy who did an outstanding job making sure we were taken care of. (I wish we had thought to get his name.)
I had never visited this particular location but I'm very glad I did. It was clean upon entry and my server was attentive and prompt. I appreciate the morning crew appearing to be refreshed and present as I know that shift can be taxing. I will be back to visit and hope this location stays around.
Josh was working by himself today. He was cooking and waiting on tables. He did a great job! Kudos to him.
My server Luke was so awesome he made my day! Erick was also an excellent server and helped me find what I wanted to eat. 10/10 would recommend tipping them if you get them.
The wait staff was friendly, the food was exactly what you'd expect. The business was clean. I was satisfied. I am not a regular customer of Denny's. I just had an afternoon craving for a big breakfast and thought of Dennys.
Had a wonderful breakfast at Denny’s today. Everything was cooked perfectly! Pancakes were so fluffy and fresh, cooked by Daniel who has apparently been here 20 years! The manager Tamara waited on us and was so sweet too! It’s so nice to have kind friendly service nowadays!
Me and my family come here all the time, absolutely love the staff and the management. Good is always hot and fresh and you can never go wrong with their coffee. Amazing place!
I have not been back for several years after the service quality declined and speed of food service was horrendous. I was pleasantly surprised by Tamara. She was attentive. My food was a skillet with pancakes and it flew out of the kitchen within 5 minutes of her punching in my order. Food was hot and acceptable. Pleasantly surprised by the changes.
Zee was a great waitress. Was above and beyond. Coming from CA Los Angeles this has been better far my best experience in TX. I returned the next day for dinner and we had the nicest server by the name of Caroline. She was very attentive we had a short conversation about football while waiting for our food. Such a lovely young lady. THANKS CAROLINE 🥰💖
The Best experience starting from the food and management , we órder the waffles and they were the Best , My server was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was really clean and the restrooms súper clean too. Defitely the Best dennys i been too , the manager was super friendly too felt at Home .
Denny's is a classic American diner that offers a dependable and satisfying dining experience. Known for its 24/7 service, it's a go-to spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner any time of day or night. The menu is extensive, featuring hearty breakfast options like pancakes, waffles, and omelets, as well as classic diner fare such as burgers, sandwiches, and comfort foods like meatloaf and pot roast. The portions are generous, and the food is consistently good for the price, making it a popular choice for families, late-night cravings, or casual dining. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a retro diner vibe that gives off a nostalgic feel. Service tends to be friendly, and the staff is accommodating, making it a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or settling in for a full meal, Denny's is a solid, reliable option that never disappoints.
My overall experience at this Denny’s was absolutly amazing , we stopped coming here because of previous management but you can tell there is many changes and we are definitely coming back for the bourbon chicken skillet ! The server Emily was really sweet and helpful ! This dennys is worth spending your money also the restrooms look really shiny 🙂
Came to eat here on a saturday night and was greeted by a really nice waitress who sat me down and immediately made sure i was all taken care of, although the food lacked a little bit i still enjoyed the atmosphere of having a calm dinner with such welcoming people!
We were there around 10:30pm and our waiter, Jacob, was also the cook. He was amazing, the food even tasted better than when we were there a week or 2 ago during the evening.
I haven’t been to a Denny’s in forever but 10/10 experience. They had great food the server in the evening was so sweet and helpful. The prices were reasonable, and the food came out quickly.
The service was great and my food came out very quickly! Very clean restrooms compared to other Dennys. Friendly staff and very attentive. Shania awesome. Happy environment and the general manager Kenia was very sweet and attentive. Will definitely be returning!!
Extremely impressed with overall performance of service here. Everyone was very well mannered. Had a lost respect. Smiling faces. Restaurant was very clean and well organized. Food came out in a very timely manner. Manager even checked on us. Thank you Kenia and Denny’s team for the great food and service!
Jess was such an amazing server she was super kind and attentive. The store was very clean and the food came out fast and was delicious!
We came in to this Dennys this weekend and the lady at front greed as with a great attitude , she sat us down and our server came to get our address and ask us about our day which made the experience better , we order the country fried steak and it was definitely the best one we have taste , the French slam was also great , we thanked the cook for the delicious food he served us . We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back , young boy told us the have new management and it's better than it was before . Hopefully they stay the same with the best service ! Thank you guys for the great experience !
I was passing through and ate here one time. The food was good, and met Denny's standards. I was actually surprised that my burger was better than expected.
we came in for some Dennys breakfast and was greeted by sweet boy named Pedro, he was very polite and recommend us his favorite meal the apple crisp pancakes we gave it a try and definitely loved it! the manager came around to talk about their rewards program, and we sign up and my husband nachos were free. we also loved how clean and beautiful the restaurant looked we all their Christmas decorations. overall was the best experience and we will be back, thank you to sweet boy Pedro made everything better!
The best dennys me and my family have gone to , the servers are really friendly and attentive , they have a great rewards program definitely worth coming back , the whole restaurant was really clean , will be back
Jacob is an outstanding server. We came late after a looong day (our apartment flooded) and he completely took care of us and made sure we had an amazing experience. He was amazing !
This is the second time this week we visited. The first time we visited this week, we had Amy who was not only a great waitress but made our food and it was wonderful! Yesterday I'm not sure of the two waiters that we had but the first gentleman had to leave because it was his birthday. He was extremely attentive and awesome, as was the second server who took his place. The food was yummy! We will definitely be back!
It had been a while since we had been to Denny's because the food wasn't very good and seemed to be getting worse. This last time was completely different. Everything was awesome, everything was hot. Everybody's food was really good. It looked just like the picture on the menu. Definitely much better than the times before.
Very nice Breakfast with my grandson. Wait staff attentive and friendly. Hot really good food! I had forgotten how good a Denny’s Breakfast could be. It has been many years since i ate at one, but this location is close and i know we will be back
After waiting 20 minutes to get seated, it took 45 minutes to get our food. They were busy, but that's too long to wait for food. I probably would have left but I wanted the pumpkin pancakes. Don't know if we'll go back.
The food was good, nothing to really rave about. The pancakes were burnt on the bottom, and my wifes hashbrowns were smotherd and covered, but it was more of a soup than anything . Service was ok I did have to wave down a server to get a coffe refeel but it was fathers day so it was a full house but my major complaint is the P.O.S system "point of sale" it calculates the percentage for tip completely wrong my tab was 64$ and some change and it told me that 15% of that was 12$ when in fact its 9$ and some change for a tip. Now I don't mind tipping heavy when the service is excellent and had it been I would not have had a problem tipping well but when the system calculates it for you and is completely wrong made me feel like I was getting rob.
When the food is good it’s good. Don’t bother ordering add ons cause they’ll charge you for it and you’ll never receive it. Then you won’t get a refund for the $5+ worth of add ons you ordered.
Staff was courteous, for was good everything was great until after we were eating I saw a roach crawl across the wall next to our table
This place has had its share of management issues over the years. Frequent staff turn overs with the exception of a few good servers who keep hanging on. They're the reason I'm a long time patron even though I've waited as much as an hour to get my food I know they are doing their best and I never had a real problem with the food once I got it. Today was an extra disappointment. My cup had lipstick on it and my hashbrowns tasted soured as in bad. And it looks like maybe more new management. My best to their loyal servers who seem to always be having to apologize. Manager said there was nothing wrong with the potatoes so I just lost a side. This was supposed to be my birthday breakfast. PS. For your health, do not order their new country gravy. Tastes like a salt solution with chicken/Turkey flavoring. It will make your tongue curl.
can't give one star as we've never actually gotten any food from them. they give priority to call-in orders rather than walk-on patrons. Wait 3-4 minutes to be seated. wait another 10 to be asked for drinks. twice, now, our waits have stopped at this point. never got a glass of water, nothing. we walked out after 15 minutes of not seeing the waitstaff after asking for water. Tons of people in the kitchen, many customers drive up, get their food quickly and go. They should just close the dining area and replace it with a drive-thru window. our at least put a big sign on the door that dine-in customers can expect 40-60 wait for food.
It took forever to get a table although there was literally no one there. We ordered and it took at least 45 minutes to get the first tray out and another 10 minutes for our other tray to get out. They completely forgot the kids meals, and some pancakes. They wouldn’t clean off our table when there was no space because of dirty plates. It was for my birthday too. The whole experience left us all mad including my 4 year old sister.
I ordered chicken fried Chicken. The breading on the chicken was dark and over cooked in oil that tasted like it should have been changed sooner. There was far too much salt on everything. I usually love Denny's but this meal was not for me.
This place irritated me from the second we walked in the door. The had about three tables in use. All the waitresses stood behind the food counter staring at us and talking amongst themselves, while we waited almost five minutes to be seated. The only waitress running around working, Cindy, saw us waiting, and seated us. We where there for almost two hours because Cindy was working every single table that came through the door, by herself. Not one other waitress lifted a finger. She was so busy that she was never able to get back to us for refills, or to get our check. We had to stand up to try and flag someone down, which didn't work because all the other staff ignored us. So while I continued to wait, my daughter took my granddaughter to go potty. Still nobody helped me. As my daughter came back from the restrooms, she stopped at the counter and asked for our check and to go boxes, and they sent Cindy again. My daughter said the restrooms were disgusting. You can tell Cindy was exhausted, but she remained a sweetheart the entire time. She let me borrow her readers because I accidently left mine home. She repeatedly kept apologizing for not being attentive and checking if we needed refills it anything. But we assured her that it was not her fault, and under the circumstances, she was doing amazing. Not one other wait staff even attempted to clean tables or wait tables, or even seat the customers when the came in. One woman came in to pick up a to go order, she was in a hurry because her dog was in the car with the window down, and she didn't want her to jump out. Again, no other wait staff would help her. So when Cindy finished bringing drinks to again, another table, she rushed over to check us out. Saw the woman with the dog in a rush. Looked back for help, and nobody cared to help her. So we let the lady go before us. One large group of people came in and needed tables pushed together, that's when one of the girls from the back counter ran up and seated the large party, while another staff member stood with her back to more waiting customers so she can watch as the large party was being seated, and then returned to the back counter. Never helped the other customers. Anyway, if you go to this location on I35E/Swisher in Corinth. Ask for Cindy, and leave this wonderful woman a large tip. The largest tip amount it would let you leave was 22%, so my daughter chose"other" and left her a much bigger tip. I would give zero stars, but I will give two for Cindy. I would give her all 5 stars if I was rating just her. I took a video to prove my post, but it will not let me posted a video.
Let’s start with a positive, the young man who served us was great. He was respectful, prompt and attentive. Now the negatives; the place had a funky smell like old mop water. The food was one step above dog food. Steak was tough, cooked wrong, and tasted like it was made on the grill with onions/peppers. The eggs were overcooked, hash browns tasted like old grease and the toast had the consistency of a brick. If this is the best Denny’s can do … STOP!!!
Food is below average but incredibly overpriced. Spent almost $100 for 2 kids and 2 adults. Not overeaters...promise. you can get much better food at a much better price at any mom and pop breakfast place, like Sidewalk Cafe. Also, check out hostess acting like we were a bother asking of we could get rung up was icing on the cake.
We called in an order to the Denny's in Corinth to pick up on our way out of town. When we went to pick up our order it was ready and waiting and were told everything was in the bag. We left and headed out of town. Once we opened our bag a few minutes later we realized that our order was made wrong. We ordered a French toast slam and a burger with fries and a coke. First thing we noticed was that we did not receive our drink. Then we noticed that the eggs which we had ordered over hard was instead replaced with a hard boiled egg 1 not even 2 per the order and the bacon was completely black and burnt at the bottom. Could be a simple mistake I get it. Then the worst issue was when I picked up the box for the burger out of the bag there was oil or grease or gravy, some type of greasy goo all over the bottom of the bag which had come through the box and had gotten all over the burger and fries. The burger was completely soggy and fell apart when I tried to pick it up. I'm not usually one to call and ask for a refund but this was pretty bad. I called the store explained the issue to the person who answered and she said let me get my manager. After sitting on hold for 5 minutes the manager finally answered and I explained the situation thinking it would be a simple issue and would be given a refund on principle of good customer service but this where things when down hill. The manager said that we would have to bring the food back and be given a store credit. Normally I wouldn't have minded but by this point I'm 30 miles away and on my way to a family anniversary party. When I explained that I could not do that and asked for her to just issue the refund to my card she then sighed and sounded frustrated and abruptly said hang on and then hung up on me. Not hold but actually hung up as the phone went to the fast busy signal a call makes when it is disconnected. I called back again. Someone picked up the phone I explained that I was speaking with the manager and we got disconnected. I was hoping it was a simple accident and trying to give the benefit of the doubt. I waited another five minutes someone picks up the phone as I could hear noises in the background and then click busy signal again. At this point I realized they were intentionally hanging up on me. I called back a third time and was immediately hung up on without even a hello. Assuming the store had caller ID I called from another phone number. This time I was extremely frustrated and asked to speak to the manager again. She finally come on the phone and says that she is not able to offer a refund. We argued back and forth and I finally asked to speak to her manager or given the number to a corporate manager. Upon calling the corporate manager's cell phone. I was told that they didn't believe that anything was wrong with my order and that I would not be given a refund. I told him I would send photos of the food to prove what I was saying. Upon sending the photos I called him back to make sure he received them. He stated yes he did and they would issue a refund. He then proceeded to lecture me about being rude to his employees (which I was not until I had been hung up on twice) and when I told him I apologize for being rude but your employees should not be hanging up on me. He then got mad because I wouldn't back down from the bad customer service complaint and refused to believe that I was hung up on and then changed his mind and said that no I'm not giving you a refund because you were rude to my employees. We argued back and forth and he then...wait for it... HE hung up. I called him back and when I asked if hanging up on people was a Denny's corporate policy he responded and said no I'm in a bad area my phone dropped the call. That's a lie because I have an iPhone. Any dropped calls for any reason will show a "Call Failed" message. I didn't point that out to him but again asked for the number to his supervisor which he again refused but instead directed me to send my complaint online if I wanted my refund. BY FAR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
Customer service was absolutely horrible he was rude about my drink and threw my guess coffee down on table. We got up with eating and left this horrible establishment. I'll never be a Denny's customer again. Hiring people off the street would've been better.
This is my first time visiting this Dennys location. This is the worst service I have ever received at a Denny's. The management had to seat us and bring us our orange juice and coffee with no cream and nobody to ask for cream then for 45 minutes we did not see a waitress or anyone to check if we needed anything. The manager took out order and after 20 to 30 minutes we received our order from the a waitress. The the waitress was nice and pleasant but restaurant is very under staffed. This will be my only visit here.
Waited for almost an hour with our family just to be seated. Never got seated even told them because we had 11 of us we didn’t mind if they seated us at 2 tables. They seated 20 people at least. Since we had gotten there. Manager never once said anything. Our children waited patiently (2yr, 6, 10, and our older kids). We had to leave a two year old can only behave so long! Tried calling the manager put me on hold and would not answer the phone. Very disappointed. And because we have a lot of children and we don’t go out a lot we are always 30% tippers and I still clean up after my kids. Very disappointed
Visited the place for breakfast, the coffee mug was dirty (brown stain, like it has Not been washed)so, we requested another replacement. Pancake was hard on one side and chewy on the other (like it was cooked rush in a high heat). Bacon and Sausages were all burnt. Nobody from our table ate the hash brown, Its oily. The Customer Service was not bad but food is a big “No” for us.
We sat down pretty fast. Got our drinks, waited awhile for the waiter to come for our order. We ordered and waited over an hour for our food and never showed. While we waited for our food other people came in and ordered and got their food. I asked how long it would be and waitress said there was an order in front of ours for 15 people and that was taking a long time, but other people were still getting their food before us. I also asked for coffee and it never came. And they said our food hadn’t even been cooked after an hour of waiting!!! Horrible never will go again. Super slow.
To say the food was terrible is a compliment? Had Country fried steak (hamburger, expected that), mashed potatoes/gravy (glue), roll and fruit (over ripe). So bad, we will never try again.
I'm currently very annoyed about the service at this location. My mom, sister, and I were feeling Dennys today. We arrive and there was only 1 table in the restaurant. The server sees us with no greeting and grabs menus and tells us to follow him. He never even told us his name and acted as if we were a bother and he was ready to go. He finally gets our drink order and I soon realize there are black floating in both of out HI-C fruit punch drinks. We finally get his attention to replace our drinks because he keeps going to sit down at the bar and get on his phone with his earpiece in his ear. We are aware it may not be his fault, but he offered no apology and again quick to walk off. Not at all attentive and annoyed that we came in at all. This is ridiculous. Please have a better attitude when your employees come to work. Again, never even told us his name. I took a picture of him comfortable sitting at the bar while we are thirsty!! I don't recommend this location at all.
The host working Christmas day, he was super awesome and was being very helpful. However we did not stay because a waitress decided to come up and yell at him, when I told her that is a private conversation meant to be handled not with customers around she said well I'm not talking to you I'm talking to him. VERY RUDE WAITRESS AND SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL. This should escalate and she should be trained on what is a respectful workplace. It's Christmas and there was no reason to be so rude.
Worst service ever at a Denny's. Smelled like sewer at front door. Wait staff was made aware.
I am “ known” there as the Cobb Salad lady. I go in for lunch a lot less frequently nowadays. I like going for the convenience it’s literally across st from my job. I have given them a chance The Customer Service has always been Great except for One. And they are aware no need to blast that situation here. I was Greeted with a new face today his name was Pete his customer service skills were good. We chatted when my food comes he leaves. He walks back by to ask how everything is and I pulled out this long black hair after I’ve ate probably 5 bites or so while talking to him because he offered me a 10% for locals and then I let him know I actually work across the st and were supposed to get a discount but I’ve never pushed it. Anyways I am Blonde btw and definitely wasn’t Pete’s hair. He apologized And offered me another salad I stated ya know just make me a Garden Salad and I’ll be good because now I don’t have time to order anything else because my lunch break is almost over. So Please explain to me why I still paid full price? We’ll sorry for no “Tip “ Pete, take it out of the Salad I didn’t eat and also the bacon tasted old wasn’t fresh like normally was.Pete Stated he is manager in Weds nights so I assumed he would have done better at making sure I was happy. I was calm when I was actually REALLY upset but I didn’t loose in this deal you guys did because I will Not be back. Tamara on the other hand is, Sorry was my normal server is Amazing with the Best attitude deserves a raise for sure.
Stoped in to have breakfast with my husband, I ordered the iced coffee it was gross so I decided to switch to hot coffee and I added a sweet tea, all were nasty. There were crickets everywhere walking in to the restaurant. Wasn’t happy at all, I walked out and won’t be going back.
I will not step foot in this establishment again. Horrible service over priced food and don’t get me started on the mid 20s wait staff. They sat us at a dirty table. Waited 20 minutes for drinks. Got our food before we even got silverware.
Had an incredibly unpleasant experience at Denny's. The waiter displayed rudeness, and the manager's behavior was even worse, handing back change aggressively. To make matters worse, the waiter made insensitive comments, calling us weird, and targeted my autistic brother. This unacceptable behavior left us deeply disappointed and frustrated with the overall service.
Today I decided to grab breakfast at Dennys , that advertises as being open 24 hours. I arrived around 4:48 am , only to be met with a locked door and a staff member wearing a pink robe informing me that the restaurant was closed. Confused and a bit frustrated, I double-checked their signage and online info—both still claiming 24/7 operation. No explanation was given, no temporary closure notice posted, just was told “we are closed. “
Title: Unacceptable Service and Discriminatory Behavior at Denny’s I recently visited a Denny’s restaurant and had an extremely disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share. From the outset, the service was below par, beginning with our server’s tardiness and apparent annoyance at having to attend to us. Our order was incomplete, missing pancakes, and when this was brought to the server’s attention, her response was shockingly rude, calling me “weird” for inquiring about my missing food. What escalated the situation further was the behavior of the manager, Tamara. Not only did she fail to rectify the situation, but she also became hostile, refusing to provide names or the corporate number, and attempting to overcharge me by presenting a receipt that was not mine. It was clear from her demeanor and actions that customer satisfaction was not a priority. Moreover, the encounter took a more disturbing turn with the insinuation that our treatment was influenced by our race, further evidenced by the staff’s lack of respect and professionalism. The accusations of being “combative” and the outright refusal to address our concerns adequately only added insult to injury. This experience was not only frustrating but deeply disheartening, showcasing a blatant disregard for customer service and basic human decency. It’s appalling to think that such behavior is tolerated, let alone witnessed by management without corrective action. I firmly believe that no one should have to endure such treatment, and I urge potential patrons to reconsider supporting a business that allows its employees to act in such a manner. It’s high time for corporate to intervene and ensure that the staff at this Denny’s location receive the necessary training in customer service and racial sensitivity. This establishment, as it stands, does not deserve your patronage.
This restaurant experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we walked in and saw only one table with customers, we should have known something was off. When we asked the waitress if they were closing, she assured us they were open 24 hours, even though it was only 8pm. Despite our reservations, we decided to stay and eat. The service was lackluster right from the start. We received our drinks, only to find out that it would be the only cup of coffee I would receive for the entire night. My kids, aged 9 and 4, got small kids cups for their drinks, and my wife received her tea. It seemed like the staff thought that was all we needed to accompany our meal and the 45-minute wait for our food. When the food finally arrived, mine was cold while my wife and kids said theirs were just okay. We finished eating and waited around for the bill, but the waitress never brought it. Frustrated, I went up to the register and waited for another 8 minutes before she finally made her way over. This level of service was unacceptable, especially considering there were only two tables occupied in the entire restaurant. To make matters worse, when she rang us up, I was shocked to see that our bill came out to over $70.00 for two adults and two children. I couldn't believe that we had paid such a high price for subpar food and terrible service. We should have chosen a nicer restaurant or a roadhouse where we could have gotten better food and great service, all for the same price. It was a disappointing realization. Afterwards, we rushed home because I felt like I was going to be sick. Luckily, I made it to the bathroom in time, but my wife fell ill as well. Thank goodness the kids didn't get sick. The moral of the story is to avoid this restaurant if you're looking for quality food, good service, and reasonable prices. It simply isn't worth what you'll pay.
One visit is enough. While the food was edible and the people were all nice that’s the end of the good stuff. After being sat we waited a while before finally being greeted. Since we’d had plenty of time we went and did our full order right away. In the time we waited for our food another table was sat near us, ate and left. Eventually our food came and we finally got refills on our drinks but my order was wrong and missing items. I asked for the check the first chance I got and fortunately was able to pay at the front and leave. The restaurant didn’t seem busy or understaffed and order wasn’t complicated so no idea what the problem was. We’ve ordered take out dinner here a few times as well and it was a little better in general but I don’t expect to be doing even that again anytime soon.
Update: Have not been here for five years decided to try again. That was a mistake! Took 45 mins. In a dead restaurant to get food and when my plate came it was cold. Asked for a few things and the waitress never came back except to give me the check. Says kids eat free from 4 to 10 pm Monday to Thursday but no one's seems to understand that. Oh and they tried charging me adult prices for kid drinks. Just don't place should be closed down Past post: I always come here, always slow but that has never been a big issue. Never great service just something our family goes to when nothing else is around. However, this last time I ordered something for my daughter and was not explained that I couldn't substitute sausage for eggs. Instead the waitress changed it and added .99 to make it chocolate pancakes. If I'd known that. I would not have substituted the sausage for eggs. When I explained this to the manager he said it was like only 34cents right. When in fact it was 99 cent, but that was not the issue. It was the fact the management valued the overall dollar format versus long term customer value.
This is the second time I tried to take my sone here for breakfast before school. They open at 6 supposedly. Got there at 630 and jay told us he has no cook and cannot help. Same thing happened a couple months ago. I told jay that same thing happened before and he said oh there’s my cook now pointing at a car in the lot that was there before us. I ask for both of their names and jay said he doesn’t even know the cooks name. Weird. So I asked him directly and it is Bernard. I go to leave cuz obviously I’m not gonna have these bozos cook for me. I’m sitting in the car with my son to try and figure out a new breakfast plan and then watch them both walk to behind the building without even turning on the lights. Do better.
Came in with my children. Spent more than 20min without getting attended to. After 20 min, they came and said they are taking cash only and no other form of payment which I don’t believe.
There is much improvement needed. The hashbrowns were burnt from the bottom and it was evident that they used old oil. The hashbrowns tasted off. The glasses were dirty as well as the silverware. The hostess treated us nicely but their seating system is inadequate and not customer friendly. We requested to be seated at a shaded table out of the sun and the hostess tries to seat us at the sunniest table possible. We tried to ask for seating at a shaded table and the hostess did not allow us because of their system. The hostess then left our table and passed us on to another hostess who was much nicer and flexible with us. The pancakes were rubbery and not cooked correctly. I will not be coming here again.
Hope im not the only one thats served with plasticware. That was the case when I took my kids there for lunch.
My family and I used to be frequent clients and always give tips and one time I went with my mom and my son to this location there was a waitress blond girl named Payton who was our server back then and gave us the worse service and attitude from that day on every time we go to the location this girl gets in charge to ruin the service for us. In addition to this the quality of the food is getting low and bad.
Not sure if this review should count..... considering I didn't eat there..... I went in to get something to go what got me in there was the return of the 2468 menu.... when I asked for a menu because I was ordering to go I got an eye roll from the hostess. After looking through the menu for a couple of minutes realized there was no 2468 so I asked for the menu that had that on it. After ordering something that I believed was $6 was told that it really wasn't $6 it was $6.99 in the small print. So my price went to 757. Again met with another eye roll when I questioned the price. So at this point I realize the host is really didn't want me to dine in didn't really want to take my order didn't really want to give me any food and didn't want to do business for Denny's or with me. So I left and all my business goes to Waffle House now.
They aren’t open 24 hours. They close and don’t take orders after 11pm. I’m driving and would have liked to grab a bite to eat on the road down south, but they closed their doors without out notice. Sitting in the parking lot right now. No service. What a sad Chain. Dallas area Denny’s has lost its touch with the reality of people who would like to sit down and enjoy a meal because they’re either too cheap or too lazy to employ people during off hours. Sad.
$23 for this and an 8 oz white milk.
⭐☆☆☆☆ Delivery drivers are repeatedly sent here to pick up orders that have already been given to someone else. I drove to this location, followed the pickup instructions, and was told the order was already gone. The problem is that when this happens, the restaurant does not properly resolve the order on their end, so it keeps getting reassigned to new drivers. Each driver shows up, wastes time and fuel, and leaves unpaid. This is not a one-off mistake. It’s a process failure that the restaurant allows to continue. If you partner with delivery services, you have a responsibility to manage orders correctly so workers are not exploited. One star for consistently wasting drivers’ time and refusing to fix a known issue.
While the waiters were nice; the place was dirty, they had no coke, no toppings for making the advertised Christmas pancakes. Both my mother and I ended up with upset stomach within 30 minutes of eating. Do better.
If I could give a zero, I would. My cousin and I went to go in and the door wouldn’t open the waitress had to open the door. Then we were seated drink order taken everything was going fine. We noticed another couple tried to come in and they couldn’t get in and the waitress looked at them but ignored them and did not go open the door for them. There was two other tables aside from us and everything seemed to be going fine. When she came into our orders, we ordered an appetiser and two entrees and two desserts and then à la cart French toast. Waitress went and put in the order promptly came out to tell us that on our sampler appetiser that they were out of mozzarella sticks would we like something else and we said sure chicken strips because that was something she offered she said OK well my state came out. I asked for medium well it was rare mashed potatoes and gravy did not taste well my fork both of our forks were dirty butter knives were dirty took three sets to get clean ones then I had to ask for a steak knife to which she came with a dirty one that looks like it had been used and had spots of rust on it even asked for a new one twice. This whole time the manager is sitting at the bar doing nothing my cousin found a long and too short hair under her sandwich we both have red hair. These were brown so after two bites of a sandwich she could no longer eat her food the waitress went and I guess told her manager who offered to replace it or take it off the Bill we opted to have it taken off the Bill because my cousin is one who once she finds a hair in the food she’s done but throughout this time two more groups tried to come in and they couldn’t and the manager not once got up to open the door. The waitress was sweeping after one of the tables had left. It was terrible. She only asked for if we wanted refills when she was bringing something to the table, our entrees came out before our sampler appetiser then we had told her previously the dessert we wanted them to go, but we didn’t want them made until we were ready to go. That did not happen. It looked as though they’ve been sitting there the entire time that we were eating the ice cream was almost completely melted. The brownie was no longer warm. It just looks like a soupy mess and there was no Oreos on top or anything like that and she used chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla that’s pictured on their menu. Be very careful and watch your prices because their menu says one price but yet when they ring it up, it says another. The bathroom was also disgusting you had what appeared to be used toilet paper all over the place and what felt like grease on the latch on the bathroom stall. And the attitude that we received from the waitress was out of I don’t care. I don’t want to be here and her tip reflected that. We are usually generous tippers about 25% if not more depending on Service I think this is the first time in my life that I have only given my bare minimum tip of $5 on a $60 food bill. I do not recommend anyone going to this particular Denny’s please drive the few more miles down the road and go to the one in Lewisville.
I can only rate the food, this was a Uber order that I did for Burger Den, had no clue it was Dennys. It was buy 1 get 1. My order is below right, what I saw is below left, what I got what was in the middle, no bacon that I double paid for, patties that were 3” in diameter on a 5.5” diameter bun with mayo, 5 onion rings, 2 day old lettuce. Tried to call with no answer, wonder why? So if you see Burger Den on Uber it is not, you’re triple paying for the $8 Denny burger. I am so pissed off for false advertising. So I basically paid Dennys $37.00 for 2 mushroom Swiss burgers that were the same size as Burger King’s burgers.
It was horrible nothing was cooked completely hash browns were disgusting ! Bacon and eggs were not done! The milk was warm. The Place has really went down hill! Won’t be going back
The waitress was not good when we enter the restaurant she set us at a table where a lady was sitting and when I brought it to her attention she it’s ok she leaving I’m like but the lady silverware still there she say oh I’ll move it. Her name was Emily unpleasant attitude I regret stopping there to eat it won’t happen again the hash brown had and awful taste pancakes was cold 🥶 salt shakers was dirty syrup bottle was sticky not even warm pancakes was flat not flufffy like menu showed it was not good all the way around I left I didn’t even eat the food as you can see my husband just ate a lil of his
