We like ihop. Great selections, good value and always a plenty of coffee at the table.

I was recently in the area on my way to Disney, we came across IHOP and we decided to step in. After years of avoid chain restaurants due to the lack of good food and good service we decided to step in. The service was outstanding and the server that helped us was really attentive. The place was crazy busy but the server still managed to take our order in a timely manner. Jose Gomez was our server. So if you are in the area and happen to want to want to try IHOP ask for Jose.

It's kind of a busy IHOP. However since you still charge full price I'm expecting an excellent dinning experience. The pancakes were cold had to ask to them microwaved. The coffee was cold too. Everything is expensive...so if you're going to charge full price, you have to bring full price svc.

It's the stereotypical American breakfast, so I had to try it 😀 portions were huge (compared to the UK). I had a combination of eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast and some huge pancakes. Honestly, I was broken by about half way though 🤪 but the food was delicious and the coffee was plentiful. Definitely worth trying but maybe try a smaller portion if you need to function afterwards!

Super Late Lunch @ 5 PM. For two days I have been craving the Strawberry and Banana French Toast with 2 Scrambled Eggs, 2 Sausages, 2 Slices of Ham and Hash Browns with 1 Apple Juice and 1 Orange Juice $26.35 Total + $5.00 Tip = $31.35. Anyways, I'm working so it all gets reimbursed. "Free Super Late Lunch @ 5 PM!" 🤑😁👍 Free Lunch, is the best lunch!

May 9, it was super busy in this location, we were told to order something to drink because the kitchen was extremely busy and food was going to take long, we didn't mind except my son was starving so they offered to bring some eggs while we waited and waited and waited and the eggs never came, then another waitress came after 10 l o ng minutes and ask, do you want anything to drink? seriously wow we are ready to order. OK I'll call someone to take your order! What?? Anyways I don't complain the girl that help us was very nice and even though we waited for long time I understand why it was crazy busy, because the mother's day weekend usually is not that crazy. Love those new protein pancakes.

Still a good place to eat. Last time we were here was about 6 years ago. We moved a bit far, but today we were around Costa Mesa and decided to grab some breakfast before our flight. It was around 9:30 am on a Tuesday. The restaurant was not crowded, so no wait times to get seated. Our waitress was Lili, she was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We spilled a glass of water all over the table, the busser came quickly a cleaned everything up while we were switching tables. The food was really good, as usual. I have never had a complaint here about the food. My plate was really filling, and the food taste good, and my bacon was crispy! It was a good experience overall.

Decent iHop in Costa Mesa. Service and food are okay. I ordered the pesto veggie benedict and only one egg was runny. We also did not get our meals at the same time. Other than that, everything was good. I recommend coming on a weekday since it is usually not as busy.

My boyfriend (Caucasian) and I (Mexican) went to eat breakfast, and the server never took accountability on her mistake. My boyfriend ordered a coffee and 2 waters for us, and we only got the waters AFTER the food arrived, and that's because we reminded her, to which we replies "OH, they didn't bring it out?" I haven't written a bad review of this place yet? It's long overdue. I really wish I could take my kids out for some pancakes here once in a while but it's just not worth the overtly terrible service. They are CLEARLY EXTREMELY BIASED against anyone who isn't a Mexican family. They will not even approach your table unless you flag them down and it will be like that start to finish. I have had them disappear so I can't order, can't pay, etc. If you bring it to their attention that you haven't gotten service, now you're the problem. Besides this, the restaurant is FREEZING and they will probably get your order wrong. If you aren't Mexican, it's not for you. Try Broken Yolk. (By the way, my husband and children are Mexican, but he never goes with us, always me and the kids, I'm white.)

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I arrived around 11 AM and there was no host at the front desk, so I had to wait for a while. When a staff member finally showed up — the one who usually handles payments — he walked me to a table but refused to take my order, saying it wasn’t his responsibility. I had to wait even longer for a server to show up. When the waitress finally came, I told her I was on a short lunch break and asked if the food could be prepared quickly. She kindly agreed and said it was possible. However, after 20 minutes of waiting, my order still wasn’t ready. Since I was running out of time, I went to the service counter to check on it. They told me the food was ready and would be brought out any minute. But it didn’t come. I returned to the counter again and asked them to pack the food to go instead. At that point, the staff started showing their frustration, saying I was being impatient and that since the food was already plated for dine-in, they now had to waste time repackaging it. So apparently, they value their time, but not the customer’s. When I pointed out that their behavior was unacceptable, the same employee who had refused to take my order earlier got involved again and became rude, raising his voice and speaking in a very disrespectful and unprofessional way. Other guests witnessed this, but the staff clearly didn’t care. Even after I mentioned I would leave a review, they continued arguing instead of simply packing my order and moving on to other customers. I find this level of service completely unacceptable. I used to have breakfast at this restaurant chain regularly because the food is genuinely good, but I will definitely not return to this particular location. To be fair, they didn’t charge me for the meal — which I appreciate as a small gesture after everything — but I still left hungry, my lunch break wasted on waiting, arguing, and ending up in a terrible mood. Also, I’m giving this place a one-star rating because I never actually got to enjoy the food — and by the time I finally had a chance to try it, it was cold and not tasty at all. I’m also attaching a photo of how the food was packed. As you can see, the presentation was very poor and unappetizing.

Our experience at this IHOP was incredibly disappointing and unacceptable. From the beginning, service was clearly biased—staff did not come to our table for 35 minutes. Things noticeably changed for the worse once they heard us speaking Arabic. From that point on, we were treated with indifference and even hostility. To add to the frustration, we were served used coffee creamers, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene standards. When we addressed the issue, we were told they were “understaffed,” as if that justified the poor service and lack of basic food safety. The most shocking moment came when we expressed our dissatisfaction to the manager. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, he dismissively told us we could leave if we weren’t happy. Such a response shows a complete lack of professionalism and respect for customers. I sincerely hope the management takes a serious look at how this place is being run. No one should be treated this way—discriminated against, served unsanitary food, and then dismissed for speaking up.

It’s sad how this new young generation as managers think by just not taking orders right , taking a long time to serve reason food is cold when it gets to you and ignore the requests it’s just an ok thing to do . Working in an airline they had thought me customer service, giving ethical, professional serving to customers is the main importance when families take the time to go out and eat to spend time together …. At this place they need new management .. with older experience management .. who can have more care and love for customers …

This is the first and last time in this place (Jan 19rh @ 10 pm). I don't think it's right that after 5 minutes of eating, they put my bill on the table, I felt that they were rushing me to eat and that I would pay now. The french toast had a good presentation, but nothing of flavor. They didn't ask us for refill for our drinks (sodas), my meat was over cooked. Definitely a bad experience.
