A great place for a laid-back get-together to play pool and have drinks. The drinks are affordable, pleasant bar staff, terrific music, and friendly locals. We had so much fun playing pool with a few drinks. The place is so cool, you could spend hours here.

I always feel comfortable there, even when I’m by myself, which isn’t always the case at other dive bars, especially as a smaller female.

This is a Great Bar! A little pricey but worth it! People are great and service is 5 stars with most bartenders... I ALWAYS feel comfortable going there even if I am just by myself, which is not always the case with other dive bars, being that I am female and not very big in stature.

I was staying in Costa Mesa for a couple of weeks on business and had the pleasure of visiting Patrick’s Pub. Drew, Andy and all of the bartenders, not only made sure that I got treated like family and a local, they went out of their way to make me feel right at home. If you visit Costa Mesa and don’t stop here for a drink, I promise that you are missing out. I would give this place a 1000% positive rating if I could but will have to settle for the highest 100% on here. Thank you so much Patrick’s Pub staff, you have made every experience I have had there, absolutely amazing.

This is a typical Costa Mesa dive bar. Nothing fancy, but strong drinks, friendly. White staff and low-key casual atmosphere. Definitely worth the drive to go in and grab a drink before your evening festivities.

This is my cheers bar. Everybody knows my name from owners to the regulars. Great pub. Highly recomend. They dont serve food, but your welcome to have some delivered.

Great little pub. Has the dark feeling of a classic dive. They let you order food in, which is nice. The one bartender was great, knew and remembered you name (really impressive). The cons here, shuffleboard had no pucks to use, and they had a patio where people smoke, the door was open letting smoke come into the bar. Otherwise it was great!

I didn't try the food. They had a limited selection of alcoholic beverages. The smell of smoke was present occasionally. Had a fancy dive bar feeling if that's your thing. Yes, I reviewed the right place. Did not have ingredients for a mojito.
