Poor assembly ruined the sandwich. I ordered a chicken sandwich for takeout with extra pickles and a slice of cheese. Unfortunately, the assembly was really careless. They piled the pickles, the cheese, and the hot sauce all on just one side of the sandwich. Because the cheese wasn't melted and the sauce was pooled there, that entire side of the sandwich ended up cold and soggy, making for a very messy meal. Also, be aware if you order takeout: they don't put napkins in the bag. Apparently, you have to fetch them yourself from the front counter, which defeats the purpose of a grab-and-go order. The only positive was that they did remember to put the condiments in the bag, but overall, the lack of attention to detail made this a disappointing lunch. First time visit at one of their golden chick locations. Prices are a bit steeper. Might try again another location, if there’s some in Houston.

Service was good foods slightly expensive for chicken. The fish wasn't that good. Jalepeno bombers were very good the fried okra was good. The rolls are sweet like the king Hawaiian rolls. Has truck parking 5 slots im sure 10 can fit but only 5 sets of lines better to exit 67 going north exit 68 but breakneck right turn i would not recommend with tractor trailer. The feeder / service road has 2 lanes. hotels nearby. The inside was clean. Plan to go back and actually buy chicken.

I ordered a 6 piece meal, I added a side of macaroni, I also asked for a cup of ice on which I had to pay for it. I also asked her to add ketchup and hot sauce. After they made me wait almost 20 minutes when there was no line just me, I received the order with no ketchup, no hot sauce and no straw. I told the lady that I needed the straw and she said we don’t have straws but everything else is there. I didn’t check until I got to my place and of course no ketchup, no hot sauce and a almost half of a dirty cold macaroni cup. This was my first time and last time I will ever get Golden Chick……

No seasoning to put on my chicken. No cups for the ice cream machine. Music up so loud like a night club. The best part was the attitudes. I asked "do y'all have liver and gizzards?" The lady ran off to check I guess before I got the whole question out of my mouth Another guy ran up "do y'all liver and gizzards?"... He ran off too. Okay? She gives him a thumbs up. Sweet give me an order. The cook "well we have to check on that too." "What's that?" "You don't ask about gizzards!" Um okay. I won't come back

Food is awful! I ordered 2 piece fried chicken; got roasted. The chicken leg was the size of a pigeon! My husband ordered 2 piece white meat fried chicken. He got a thigh ( not white meat) and a wing. Signage says it comes with a breast and wing. We will NEVER stop here again!!!!!

Got my order wrong again. Didn't want gravy yet they decided to give cover my mashed potatoes and chicken in it. The lady forgot to give me my drink so I had to go back to pick it up and the soda fountain is off alot. Paid 12 dollars for 4 pieces of chicken essentially. The roll had a something on it that wasn't butter. Threw it away. Inside smelt bad too. Like sewage leak. Typical cotulla food

Paid $250 online for a party pack and a family pack, but received the wrong order. When I called the store to get it fixed, they refused. The manager said their system was wrong and it wasn't their fault. The ticket they got was completely different from what I ordered. Even though I showed them proof with the e-receipt, they still refused to fix it. I had to drive back to the store to get 20 chicken tenders out of the 30 I originally ordered. The manager claimed they were losing money, so they couldn't fulfill my order completely. In other words, check your orders and count your chicken before you leave the store because if they get it wrong, they will refuse to make it right, blaming their faulty online system. Basically you will not get what you paid for.

Thiis place iis a joke.. you pay $13 dollars for a tender basket (6 piece) just got 5 and just get liike 6 friies for you siide order.. and have to paiid for a sauce.. 👎..
