The Millcross is one of my go to cafes (4+ years) for breakfast/brunch in Culver City, as it does not deviate away from consistent excellence. Here’s the break down. Environment: The MillCross is welcoming to all, the employees are laidback and attentive. To dine-in, you must place your order at the counter, a number will be given to you. Vast amount of seating is offered now. Indoor seating can get cramped, as there are a handful of tables for 2-4people, additionally seating is offered at their counter. There are multiple seating areas offered outdoors (for 2-4 people) with shade provided via umbrellas. Food & Drinks: Here are some items that I can recommend. The chilaquiles are great and executed well, the mole adds a bit of sweetness which compliments the green and red salsa, while the over easy egg will calm any of the spicy elements from the sauces (which aren’t spicy, but do have great flavor). The croissant french toast is savory and sweet (not big portioned), which is complimented with their house made whipped cream, syrup, and fresh berries. Lastly, you cannot go wrong with the MC burrito. The matcha, lattes, drip coffee, and pour-overs are all great, the baristas are consistent. Overall: The MillCross offers great food with well sized portions (nothing too small nor too big). The stand outs (for me) are the chilaquiles and MC burrito. I have not seen any other spot in LA curate the chilaquiles as to how the Millcross does. If you’ve read up to this point, I tend to leave a bit of crumbs to the readers. Free parking lot just behind the millcross, as well as residential parking. Coffee comes with free refills, just ask the barista. The salsa for the MC burrito is chefs kiss, honestly one of the top breakfast burritos out there, as it is soft and everything blends in well. Lastly, because this place is located in Culver City, it does tend to get pretty packed on weekdays 10am-1pm and especially during the weekend.

Love it! Super cute coffee shop/cafe. I tried their Lavender basil situation in my latte and it was delicious and unique. Definitely worth stopping by. Just be prepared for the line. But it goes pretty quick. Hope you enjoy!!

What a beautiful coffee shop. The decor is homey and comfortable and the employees are very friendly! I only had an iced coffee but it was delicious, next time I’ll have to order it in a cup “for here” instead of feting a Togo plastic one. I sat here for a few hours doing work on my computer and it was really busy! Good for business, however it gets really loud in there so bring some headphones. I’ll be back soon to try some of the food, it all looked great

My new favorite breakfast spot. So happy we found it. The iced strawberry matcha tastes like strawberry Yoo-hoo in the best way. There are so many gluten free options from waffles and smoothie bowls (if you want more of a sit down meal) to donuts and banana bread (if you just want to grab something quick from the pastry area.) The service is so warm and friendly. Parking was easy for us on a Saturday and a Sunday. My only word of caution is that I think it gets pretty busy, pretty early. If you get here before 8 on a weekend you’ll have no wait at all, before 9 is a small wait, seemed like it really filled in after 9am (but you can’t blame them for that.. everyone loves them as much as we do!)

WOWW. Had the strawberry matcha (best matcha of my life) plus the gf waffles which were INCREDIBLE. They only serve gf waffles so very much safe for celiac. Such a nice vibe here as well with bassa nova music playing and lovely ambience. Must try!

Really good spot, awesome location, and the service is top-notch. The food and drinks are great too. Plus, it's super close to my dentist at Culver City Premium Dental Care. Definitely recommend checking it out.

This spot is a true gem! I’ve been for coffee and for the wine bar. Both have great cozy vibes and extremely friendly staff. Their chilled red jumbo time wine is delicious and they usually have music on Fridays.

Breakfast/brunch is always amazing here! Most breakfast restaurants around my area have been tasting really plain and flavorless. This restaurant though , has all the flavors for my liking . Thank you MillCross will always come back for more.

I think this actually is the best cafe in the city. Food and coffee are lights out, priced fairly for the quality & the staff and setting are refreshingly unpretentious. It’s becoming a daily bright spot in my hellish 3 week trip.

I ordered a lavender sage matcha latte with almond milk - loved it! You can really taste each flavor which some places can't get right when it comes to floral matcha drinks. It's a drink I'll come back for! As a snack, I got their Ube macadamia cookie. Great pair with the lavender sage matcha. the cookie alone was good - super soft with a slight elastic texture like it had some mochi in it (not sure if it does), and the crunch that comes with the macadamia sets it off My friend ordered a salad and said it was packed and filling. The place has seating but the inside is small and can be challenging to get a table. Outside is an option but not that much bigger Parking is either the small garage in the back, or residential street parking - I think they have street sweeping on some days though so be careful with that.

Love the lavender sage chai late, the mushroom tacos and the eggs over arugula salad. Gf options are great. Service is always nice, music is always good, great vibes.

Everything was great, but they only have 1 bathroom so it may take a while if there is a line

Great chiliquiles - the mole sauce was a fun twist. Breakfast plate was executed perfectly, great potatoes and heavenly bread with awesome jam.

the people who work here are super nice that's why we frequent this place, but, for their desserts and pastries. our favorite are the ube (purple) cookies - they are so good! not too sweet, which is how i prefer it, and it's on the soft, bread-y side. they also have pistachio sans rival! what is sans rival?? it's a filipino dessert made of layers of meringue, buttercream and pistachios (traditionally cashews). i would suggest to try it frozen, it's so much better. as for the coffee and tea, the coffee is good! they have a different take on coffee (or lattes), such as old-fashioned, mexican, orange, etc.

Update: 10/14/23 - The 5 stars hold as true now as the initial review posited a year ago; MillCross is pure fire when it comes to their coffee / espresso offerings and their MC Butrito….which I devoured once again! My wife had the Breakfast Plate and she subbed the toast for some arugula; both her and I are happy campers and this is a must visit location; especially those who are traveling and want a great option! Also…I had the Old Fashioned Espresso once more and this time I took pictures before devouring everything. So good!!! (Multiple exclamations for my excitement to stop in here again - we love y’all here. Thanks for being friendly / awesome!) Oops! It was so good, the MC Breakfast Burrito with bacon added, that I forgot to take a photo of it intact and outside of my belly. Incredible, same goes for the Old Fashioned iced coffee. We will be back again!

MillCross Coffee was a wonderful birthday brunch spot for my Son who is not into flash over the top events or venues. The staff was pleasant. The food was fresh, delicious😋, and presented well, as you can see! Every dish was well seasoned and when paired with our favorite hot or cold drink it was a lovely experience. You order at thr counter and have a seat. Simply try it you"ll you have to go to Millcross to experience the room!

Great vibe, good food, and quick service. I’d give 4.5 stars if I could. There is a lot of seating, but it’s mostly for 2-3 people. We had a party of 4, and there was only one spot that could accommodate us comfortably and we were lucky to snag it. It is pretty crowded inside, but it’s got a good vibe and fun decor. Everything we ordered was good. The croissant French toast was SO GOOD and I would definitely order it again-highly recommend. We also ordered the mc breakfast burrito, La bomba breakfast sandwich, breakfast tacos, and lemon waffle, but the lawless croissant French toast was the crowd favorite.

The best dog friendly cafe on the west side. Food is amazing, coffee is sublime and the staff is ALWAYS friendly!! You guys are the best. Try the berry ricotta toast, I get it every time. Its perfect with honey ricotta and fresh fruit. And there's plenty of outdoor seating area and even a bar to sit at. They are VERY dog friendly. Bring your pooch. Parking is tough but there is a garage in back. Highly recommended!!

MillCross Coffee is a place I would take someone if they wanted to see a stereotypical LA hipster bar. THIS IS NOT A BAD THING. The food comes in large portions and is pretty consistent across the board, but I will say that the coffee drinks are a hit or miss. Ube Latte: Did not taste one bit like ube, and had little to no coffee flavor. Sol e Sombre Latte (pictured): I really liked this one. Not too sweet, the banana balanced the coffee perfectly, and I didn't mind spending almost 8 dollars on it. Minty Cubano: idk if it was a bad day, but I did regret the almost 8 dollars I spent on this one. There was mint in it, but I felt like I was drinking pho because the weird combo of flavors. Maple Latte (pictured): classic yummy latte. Also, be sure to specify whether you want iced or hot coffee when you pay, as I have had a few times where the cashier got my order wrong. Other than that the service is great!

This place was magnificent. We had about 30 min to spare and decided to try a new place and grab a bite. The service was great. Friendly staff, knew the menu well and offered quick and courteous services. The food? WOW👌🏾 The tuna melt and the pistachio cheesecake were spectacular. There were several items we didn't have time to try. Can't wait to go back. I have a breakfast meeting scheduled for next week at one of the most popular coffee shops, but we're gonna have to change the location. I have a new fave.

We stopped by MillCross Coffee Bar yesterday and had a great experience! We didn’t eat anything this time, just enjoyed a cup of coffee and some kombucha ~both were really good. The place was decorated beautifully for Halloween, which added such a fun and cozy vibe. I also noticed they have a nice selection of French and Austrian wines and different kinds of kombucha, which is a great touch for a coffee bar. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming ~perfect for a casual coffee break or meeting with friends. It’s a dog-friendly place too. 😍 We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely come back soon! 🎃☕️🍷

Loved trying MillCross for the first time. I had the most delicious grilled cheese on brioche and non cram based tomato soup. My coffee with Oat milk and a little sweet was over worldly. Excited to come back and bring my friends. All- loved sitting outside

I tried their oat milk hot latte and it was honestly wonderful. The presentation in a sleek black cup with a matching saucer made it feel extra special. I enjoyed it so much that I immediately felt like ordering another. They announce your name when your drink is ready and the food is delivered right to the table number you receive at the counter, which keeps everything simple and smooth. A really pleasant experience overall.

One of my favorite coffee shops! The space itself is so cozy and uniquely designed, their food is fantastic, and the coffee/tea menu is full of delicious, creative drinks. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Not going to lie though, the parking is atrocious and the place itself is a madhouse on the weekends. Also is pricey, but I think it is worth it as they clearly prioritize high quality ingredients!

Always phenomenal coffee, specials and classics alike! Cool crowd, trendy work space or hangout spot. Haven't gotten the chance to enjoy a wine experience here...yet. I look forward to that day! Had the Ube latte today and was excellent 👌 (not surprised). Keep it up Millcross!!

MillCross Coffee Bar is a wonderful brunch option, service was very quick we got our food about 5 minutes after we ordered despite it being very busy. It was on the pricier side but I believe it was worth it because the portions were very good and so was the quality. I came with my family and we all shared our plates because they were very big. We ordered the berry bowl, the ricotta toast, a bagel, a grilled cheese and tomato soup, and a breakfast plate. For drinks we got strawberry milk, coffee and a iced lavender sage latte. Everything we ordered was delicious, my personal favorites were the variable and ricotta toast. The bacon was a perfect crisp the eggs were good. The bagel was good but simple. The grilled cheese was a bit bready the ratios were a bit off. The ricotta toast was a perfect balance of fresh, creamy and crispy. The different layers, and textures of the ricotta toast made it a wonderful meal. I overall recommend this restaurant It has many options for different people's taste buds and is a great option for a brunch. I also recommend it for people who have gluten allergies It has many gluten free options (my sibling has a gluten allergy so it is hard to find a breakfast place she can eat at).

IN LOVE with this place. Visiting from Pittsburgh. Was looking for coffee and breakfast and found this place my first morning. I returned every morning and for lunch one day. Only had espresso drinks, but the coffee was delicious, I’m sure the pour over is also amazing. Drinks: Maple pecan latte, orange vanilla latte, lavender sage latte, plain cappuccino, house made lemonade Food: local lox toast, ricotta toast, saucy egg muffin, big focaccia Sammy Everything was absolutely amazing! I don’t know that I had a favorite and it was hard to decide every time because so many things were appealing! Wish I could take this place back with me. It’s been a pleasure to have during my stay.

Overall, we loved both the food and beverages, and will definitely be returning. It is a great brunch spot in Culver City, but it is not going to be the fastest so make sure that you plan your time accordingly. We also enjoyed the music! Parking can be a little tough, they have a very small designated parking lot in the back and for weekend brunch the neighborhood street parking is an option, but it does fill up, so I would give yourself a few extra minutes to plan to search and then walk from your car. For weekend brunch, there is usually a line inside to order, but it moves pretty fast and there is a lot to look at as you are waiting. They have an assortment of birthday cards, bottles of wine, chocolates, and fun mugs in different retail areas. Iris was very helpful with what type of cheeses are on different dishes, and she gave a fantastic recommendation when I was feeling indecisive between a few different brunch items. The brunch starts at 7am, and we went with two different selections from the EGGS section of the menu. The BREAKFAST PLATE ($14.50) comes with farm eggs your way (we did scrambled), house potatoes, bacon or avocado, bub & grandma's sourdough toast with butter & jam. For the breakfast plate, a secret unlisted menu option - you can add cheese on top of the eggs. We were unimpressed with the bacon so maybe go with the avocado option instead. The potatoes were really good, and the sourdough bread was lightly toasted and came with both butter and jam. If you want salt and pepper, they have them on a cart by the door. It was a good size and will be a repeat order. The GREEN EGGS & ... ($14.50) comes with scrambled farm eggs, arugula & butter lettuce tossed in a green herb dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, and avocado. With black pepper, it has the perfect amount of kick. I loved it and it was a filling-healthy option. If it had ham as an add on, it would have been the full Dr. Seuss meal! I loved the oat milk hot latte that came in a cute black cup with saucer, and I wanted another it was so enjoyable. They call out your name for the coffee, and they bring your food to the number you are given when you order at the counter. They also have regular lemonade, and for a limited time you can get a strawberry lemonade with the syrup that they use for the strawberry matcha. For seating, they have a small amount of indoor seating that includes a bar with purse hooks, and they have plenty of dog-friendly metal tables and chairs outside of the restaurant. We were easily able to find seating at 11am, even though it was very busy.

I got the lavender sage latte hot with oat milk, which was lovely with exactly the right amount of syrup flavoring, and a delicious croissant. The atmosphere was very cozy and cute. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This place is an absolute gem. The food is outstanding—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the ingredients and the execution. What really elevates the experience, though, is the service. The servers are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling overbearing. They made us feel taken care of from start to finish and added such a positive energy to the meal. Delicious food + amazing service = a restaurant I’ll be coming back to again and again. Highly recommend!!!

What a gem! MillCross Coffee Bar & Kitchen La Sabina Wine Bar offers an exceptional blend of comfort and sophistication. The space feels inviting during the day and effortlessly transitions into an elegant wine bar at night. The coffee was superb — rich, aromatic, and expertly brewed. The food menu had a variety of flavorful options; my brunch plate was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. In the evening, I enjoyed a glass of wine that paired perfectly with the atmosphere. The staff were friendly, efficient, and genuinely cared about the guest experience. The décor, lighting, and overall vibe were spot on. Definitely a 5-star experienc

Millcross is a perfect café. The coffee is excellent, the food is thoughtful and consistently well done, and everything comes out exactly as it should. Nothing feels rushed or sloppy, and nothing feels overdone either. The space is comfortable with a calm, welcoming vibe, whether you’re stopping in quickly or settling in for a while. The staff is friendly, efficient, and clearly cares about what they’re doing. An all-around outstanding café that gets everything right.

I visited MillCross on a beautiful sunny morning and had a quick coffee stop. Coffee was fine, so was the service, nothing spectacular or worth complaining about. The shop looks quaint inside and has a nice patio outside. The food menu is large so I can see why this seems a popular neighborhood cafe.

Its one of my faves on the west side. Every food items is delicious! Drinks are also stellar! BUT, the music is so insanely loud. Loved the selection though, but maybe if we just lower it a bit so I can hear the people I’m usually there with. 🩶

Nice aesthetic, fast service, and the food tasted great. The shakshouka was delicious. I look forward to going back again to try other dishes. The service was friendly and overall, it's a nice and relaxing spot.

I went to MillCross for an early Saturday morning breakfast. The outdoor seating filled up pretty quick after the opened, but there is seating inside as well. I tried the breakfast burrito with bacon, the iced chai, and a lemon blueberry scone. The burrito and scone were both delicious but the chai didn't have much flavor so I would recommend trying something else. The worker at the register was so nice and took the time to explain all the pastries and offer recommendations. Their breakfast menu is quite extensive and I can't wait to go back and try more of it. I parked up the street near Copenhagen Pastry, there's some metered parking available.

In A Nutshell: -MillCross is a tiny yet popular coffee bar that serves some good breakfast in a European style setting. -It was a cold & rainy early spring morning recently, that I stumbled into this place after landing at LAX. -I had it bookmarked on my Google Maps for a hot minute. -I'm so glad I had the opportunity to jump inside to try their delicious coffee & breakfast. -I enjoyed their basic breakfast of eggs, toast & potatoes. -Finding a seat is tough since it's pretty packed, but if you do it's worth it to stay & chill. Overall, I like these type of small, cozy European style cafes.

Walked in and the menus are on a stand near the door. The menus were dirty/sticky/covered in coffee drips. I definitely needed to wash my hands after holding those. The wait staff was friendly and answered my questions. Ordered a brioche egg burger. The burger was tasty, I loved the red spicy sauce that they put on it. It gave the burger a nice light kick. On top it comes with arugula, cheese, and avocado. My avocado still had a little ending attached to it as you can see in the photo (on the left hand side). The bun wasn't my favorite but it was still a tasty burger overall. I wanted to add bacon, but $2.50 just seemed a bit expensive for probably the two pieces of bacon that they would've given me cut in half to fit on the bun. In addition, I ordered the chai tea latte. The chai wasn't a very strong flavor. It was very light and definitely on the creamy side (which I didn't mind). I just wish the chai had a bit of a stronger taste. I would come back and try the saucy egg McMuffin as I had a bite of my friends and it was pretty delicious.

We tried a few of the items, but everything tasted high quality, because I felt full and satiated most of the day, despite the smaller portions compared to other locations. I thought food tasted great on top, of course it costs more than other locations, but the food is well done and service is exceptional

My first visit here was fantastic. I loved the atmosphere here. The second visit was less enthusing because worker taking my order seemed less interested in providing a welcoming experience. The person at the cashier from my first visit seemed much friendlier. I'll chalk it up to his having a bad day for today even if it did taint my experience. Food is pretty good, but quite expensive. I would probably visit this place more often if price was not too expensive and parking was easier. Regardless, the overall vibe in the shop is great.

Love the vibe especially in the evening. Matcha is good and so is coffee. Patatas bravas is too fab here!

Funky coffee/breakfast/dinner spot. We went for a latte and got the rice pudding to snack on. The lattes are good. They have in house syrups that are nice, but a little more subtle on flavor. It’s a fun atmosphere with plenty of seating. At night it definitely turns into more of a casual dinner spot. The music, and general ambiance, get a little louder - so this might not be the best late night work spot if that’s what you’re looking for.

My friend and I were planning on visiting another cafe in the area when we noticed this one was jumping, so we stopped in. The place was small, so it was packed and a bit chaotic, which was fine and expected since we could see that from the street, plus it's a cafe, not a restaurant, Lol. We ordered a cappuccino and vanilla latte pictured. They were okay, nothing extremely outstanding, but adequate. I don't know how I keep forgetting to take pics of the entire meal, but we had food too. I had the French toast, which was described as fluffy in the menu, which is the most important part of a French toast to me and... there was nothing at all fluffy about them. It was literally soggy and flat, which was extremely disappointing. The flavor wasn't that great either because it was very egg forward, and the presentations can use some work. I don't expect anything fancy, but the French toast was cut into pieces and kind of thrown all over the place with some slices of bananas and strawberries in the corner. My friend had the green eggs. (I think that's what it was) she did enjoy it, but thought they brought her out a salad at first because it was covered in greens (I think arugula, but I could be wrong) and the eggs weren't visible at first. We sat outside, it was a little cold and not all areas had heat lamps, but we survived and I did enjoy the view. Overall, I wouldn't go to this cafe again since it's not very close to my neighborhood, but I wouldn't discourage anyone from going. I'm a very particular person with finicky taste buds. Plus, I did enjoy the energy of the cafe.

I’m a little dissatisfied considering the good ratings this place has. However, compared to other small places I’ve been to, for example, dulce cafe, this place didn’t really reach that level of yummy. Cool for a one time thing but I wouldn’t come here again. We ordered the waffles with the matcha whip, raspberries, and some white cream. The waffles were soo on its own I’m ngl but the cream and whip and whatever was on top killed it for me. We had the grilled cheese which I felt was the best part of our time here but even then, I’ve made better grilled cheese so… we also ordered the birria burrito but that barely had any meet and I buy burritos from the street for like $8 yet they seem more full. Lastly, I got a regular matcha latte (iced) but I expected it to be sweeter since the latte versions usually are. My partner got the strawberry matcha one and they gave it to him with the strawberry powder right on top, they didn’t even mix it 😭. Overall 3/5 or 6/10 just because our total was $60 and again, I’ve been to places which total out to be $40 but is way yummier.

Some of the food was very mediocre, unseasoned unsalted tasteless. The food looks really good in the pictures but honestly, it needed a little bit more development. The gluten-free waffles were really great and the creams were really good. Some of the bowls or salads have pretty fresh ingredients, but lack a lot of taste. Most people were getting the breakfast options. They looked really good, but those are pretty straightforward. The coffee was really good and recommended. The place is super packed on the weekend so be prepared to wait in line and to wait for a table . Atmosphere is really nice coffee shop vibes and usually a lot of young kids running around on the weekends as well.

Horrible service! This guy who works here has no customer service whatsoever! My order was late and guy just poured my matcha powder into cup with milk and ice and just hand it to me. When i told him it was to go..he just said lid was there with an attitude no apology nor my drink was right! Stay away from this business and get your coffee elsewhere it’s not worth the money!!

Very unpleasant experience with a female barista today and the last time I was here. I come here regularly and the male baristas are always very friendly and professional. However, the last time this barista made my drink she forgot syrup and had an unfriendly attitude. Today I asked if my coffee could be poured into my new to-go cup. After pouring it, she told me to pick it up from where I had left it near the register. I politely asked if she could pass it to me at the pickup counter. She replied that I should pick it up where I left it. When I asked why, she said, “I just don’t want to touch it!” with a very unfriendly, dismissive and borderline disgusted attitude. The cup was brand new. It was uncomfortable and honestly left me wondering why my drink was being handled with such visible disgust. I’ve always had great experiences with the other baristas, but this interaction (it’s the second time) left a very unpleasant aftertaste and makes me reconsider coming back after being a regular for a long time.
