Avis sur Kura Sushi Cypress
When out with wife and kids to this sushi place, had a blast. Wife likes it for her birthday. Is always nice to try something new and a great concept.
I love this place. The food is top quality and the service is great. Most drinks come to you on a little robot friend and the conveyor belts work wonderfully to get the sushi around and deliver orders straight to your table from the ordering device should you want something specific.
Sushi is consistently good. Also a great place to go if you're hungry and don't have a lot of time. Most of the menu is on the belt so wait time for food isn't long. I love this concept.
So good! I come here often. Please though, Kura management, CLEAN THE BOTTOM & SIDES of plates (both on belt & special order). Sushi is good, service is great — but not uncommon to see plates have noticeable orange/green marks from prior diners or sliding down the dirty plate counter.
I'd seen this place numerous times on my social media feeds, so when my wife and I had a few afternoon recently, we decided to have a lunch date here - and we absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was great, the service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely delicious. It was a total change from what we normally frequent, but in the best way possible. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi, like trying new things, or both.
Had a great time at this restaurant! Overall, the sushi was delicious, service was fast and to the point, and a nice lowkey atmosphere. Just about everything service related is automated, with the exception of the servers sitting you down. When you walk in, there's a tablet set out for you to put you down on the wait list. Alternatively, you can download their app and put yourself down on the wait list ahead of time. After you're sat down, you can either pick out sushi from the conveyor belt or you can order from another tablet set up at the table and it will be slid to you. The sushi tasted great. I had a fun time trying the different types. Generally speaking, I stick to what I know when I order sushi so I liked that the conveyor belt method allowed me to try different kinds. I do have to say though, I need to be careful about the amount of plates though, because all that money adds up.
Was a blast. Everything was very fresh, there was a mistake but they corrected it immediately. Love the tech they use to special order, very user friendly, and the plate slot is so convenient, but just put the plates the waiter tells you and itll work out fine. Noodles were very clean, not that salty. Also dont pay attention to some of these reviewers who say bad service, didnt fill my drink etc., that's why theres a help button on the touchscreen, think airplane just need to press the button again after they help to turn it off.
Good food quickly. A larger one of the locations with more seating than other locations like Cerritos. Only gripe is the lack of Verizon cell service making it impossible to log Kura points without having a server scan the phone app and being unable to pay via phone because it never connects.
This place is fun and interactive. Each plate is about $3.00 and for every 15 plates you eat and slip into the slot you get a free toy that drops down from the machine above. It's fun to watch the sushi rotate and pick it off the conveyor belt. However, the sushi is pure average. Like sushi you get at the food court. On the rougher side for sushi but it's for the interactive machinery and experience that you come here. Everyone can kinda choose what they want to have off the conveyor belt.
I heard there is a conveyor belt sushi place, but this is my first time going. It reminds me of the system I had when I was in Japan. As various sushi and rolls pass by on a belt, I choose what I want to eat (about $3.8 per plate). I quickly took out the sushi from the moving plate and ate it thanks to the friendly instructions from the staff. ㅋㅋㅋ The fish quality feels a little better than All You Can Eat, but there isn't much of a difference. If you like something, it's marked with a picture so you can order it separately. It costs about $80 for two people. Prices have gone up so much these days that $100 for two people seems like a basic amount, but there are many restaurants where the satisfaction level is very low compared to the price. For people who eat a lot, the All You Can option might be better. The store is clean and well organized, so I give it high marks. I intend to visit again sometimes.
I heard this place was the better revolving sushi chain. And it was my first time at a revolving sushi restaurant. I am impressed by the technology utilized in the restaurant. They have a robot moving around to deliver drinks. And you can QR scan to get access to the menu to order food, and it offers an easy way to quickly check out. I ended up in a bum seat, because everything was empty by the time the sushi place made it to me. So when you come, sit on the side where the sushi is just leaving the kitchen so you get first pick. They charge slightly higher on the plates that you order. Otherwise you may have to wait a while before you get the food you want comes around. But overall looks pretty efficient. The food quality is mid. I have been spoiled by Tokyo Central. The rice is average. The nigiri fish is very thin and looks meh. It tastes fine, but the prepacked Tokyo Central sushi is top shelf. Would come here again for a quick meal with buddies.
