Always a great experience! The staff is very friendly, kind, attentive, & helpful! The food is always delicious! The music is upbeat & fun! Its such a fun atmosphere! Fellow guests are always having a blast as well, do the vibe is lively!!!!!!! We love it everytime!!!!
I was around 14 or 15, when I first started going here. It was in a building just down the street from where they are now. The waitress did not speak english, they had real butter on the table , the food was fantastic, and the people were friendly. This was the first mexican restaurant I took my date, now my wife to, 50 years ago. I am now 69 and that is still one of our favorite places to go. We love Ojeda's.
The staff was warm and welcoming as always. They make you feel as if you are right at home. The food is prepared with the finest ingredients and served hot and fresh from the kitchen. There's plenty of parking around the building and lots of upfront ADA parking as well. I highly recommend giving this establishment a visit, you will not be disappointed.
Came here with friends to celebrate after a wedding. We were a large group, but it was more than enough room for us and the servers were professional, informative, and quick! I ordered a veggie chimichunga (I made it up 🤣😂). I don't eat red meats or poultry, but saw that they had a veggie fajita. So, I had them use the veggie medley (broccoli, carrots, squash, zucchini), onions, and mushrooms for my filling. They forgot the mushrooms, but no biggie. I chose queso & ranchero as my sauces. Next time, I'd only get the cheese sauce bc it paired really well with the broccoli. Our server wasn't sure that it was going to work, but it came out fine! He said no one had ever ordered that before. I'm so out of the box there's no telling how I'll order my food. LOL! I really wanted to try the double refried beans, but it has bacon in it (for added flavor). So, I got the boiled beans. They were ok... simple beans. I wanted to try their flan, but we had so much wedding cake so I'll have to try desserts another time.
First time here and was impressed. Food was amazing and staff was very attentive to refilling your chips and drinks!! Pricing is very affordable, would recommend and will be coming back. Also have daily lunch specials
We brought my mom here for a birthday celebration. Great atmosphere, the staff was attentive, and the food was excellent! We ordered the sampler platter, my mom the chicken enchiladas and it was all amazing. My daughters ordered the Ojedas dinner and chicken nachos they both loved it. My son LOVED the cheese quesadilla. We are already planning another visit to eat here again!
I don't know if we were overlooked but we had to flag staff down to be attended to. We sat for about 10 minutes or longer without being attended to after being seated. But the food was delicious and it overturned the experience of being overlooked. I had the brisket tacos and they were amazing. My friend had breakfast.
We were in Dallas for a wedding “I highly recommend this restaurant” The food and service quality was truly exceptional, I can’t wait to go back. The street tacos were particularly my favorite, good ambiance and customer service .Our server Jairo went above and beyond to make our experience memorable in fact he is the best server we have had in years .I love spicy food so he got me roasted pepper which were awesome .He was so friendly with great suggestions and very attentive we went there again just for him it was such a pleasant and warm experience .Thank you so much Jairo
We had a retirement party in the back party room and there were lots of people coming and going. The staff and my waiter Alex did a fantastic job. We had plenty of chips and salsa. Food and drinks came out quickly and checks were easy to close out. It was a Tuesday afternoon so restaurant wasn’t packed. I would bring another group gathering here in a heartbeat! Thank you for making our event a success.
The service was phenomenal. We got seated immediately and the server came right away to ask what we wanted to drink. They brought out chips and salsa, and they brought out bowl of salsa for each person. Wow! The salsa was very good, with just the right amount of heat. While we waited for our server to take our order, the other servers kept an eye on our chips and would bring more right before we ran out. The food was delicious. I recommend getting the chilaquiles. Throughout our meal, when passing our table, various servers would ask if we needed anything. I love how everyone helps each other.

Brisket Tacos are absolutely incredible. Enchiladas are good but not different than most places. Loved the hot sauce as well. Go for the Brisket tacos!!
This is one of the best Tex-Mex places in the Medical District! Everything tastes fresh. Proper temperature. Service is Amazing! So friendly, helpful and attentive! Margaritas are really good as well!
I have been going to this location since I started my Engineering Internship since 1997!! I love the food here! the Salsa is basic (Less is More) I always get an order of fresh tortillas and butter with my order. Well i say the food is good but to be honest......I only order the sour cream chicken nachos!! best ever they are the standard for me!!
Went here for the first time the other day for a friends birthday and it was great!! The atmosphere with all the Christmas lights was super fun. The restaurant was just decorated so cute, I love when places are unique like this! Our waitresses and everyone who helped were also very friendly and attentive! And the food was delicious. I had one enchilada and one flauta with rice and beans and it was amazing. My boyfriend had the mole enchiladas and our friend had breakfast which is served all day and everything was wonderful. We even had a piña colada and it was one of the best I’ve had! I will definitely be back and recommend this longtime family restaurant to everyone!

Found this place tucked away and I can't wait to come back. I came in for dinner and was immediately seated. Server was very attentive and checked in regularly. I had the chicken enchiladas with mole and the brisket nachos. They came out quickly, were full of flavor and didn't skimp out on meat. The frozen mango margarita was a nice cooling treat against the bite of the jalapeños in the brisket nachos. They had a wide variety of margaritas and other cocktails. The decor was the traditional texture mex place with multicolored string lights covering the ceiling. Very festive and warm feeling without the obnoxiously loud music. A place where you can actually have a conversation amongst yourselves. Plenty of free, in-lot parking.
I have driven by but not stopped to try until today. I came with my good friend to have dinner. We tried the Ribeye Asada and Brisket tacos. Both were delicious. The chips come with a salsa dip, it was a bit on the tart side but still good. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Authentic Tex-Mex that has a great ambience tailored for the whole family! This menu has a great variety of Tex Mex cuisine that caters to the meat lovers, the vegans and even enchiladas consolers! If you are wanting a great place for Mexican food and some bomb Margaritas this is your place and for even greater experience try their queso dip (it even comes with ground beef!)

I'll tell you what...I had, the #11 chilli rellano with brisket, queso with beef, guacamole, pico diliayo, cheese enchillado,beef taco, and a frozen margarita. It's not brisket,( roast beef) the sml. Queso with beef 👎. Everything else great. But the best thing is the music, old Tejano music from the 90's. My server Martin was excellent 👍.

Great, great service! This place has a friendly staff and they were so attentive. It is a good old-fashioned Tex-Mex food. I was thrilled they have chicken mole enchiladas. They were good. Everything had that classic Tex-Mex flavor. And the refried beans had an excellent bacon flavor. It was nice!! The queso and chips were okay. The salsa definitely had a kick to it. Our group of four adults and two children had a pretty disappointing experience. I ordered the crispy tacos with beef, and I have never in my life had creamy taco meat. It was mixed with something that gave it a strange, unpleasant texture and honestly, it was horrible. The rice that came with it was cold, which didn’t help the overall impression. On top of the poor food quality, we were charged an extra $3.50 just for using a debit card, which felt unnecessary and excessive. Then, when we got the check, we noticed that gratuity had been automatically added. With fewer than eight people in our group, that was unexpected and, frankly, felt like poor customer service. Tips should be earned through great food and great service, not automatically assumed. Considering how disappointing the meal was, I suppose the automatic gratuity explains itself. Overall, between the cold food, the strange taco meat, the surprise fees, and the forced tip, this is not a place I’d recommend or return to.
