Brisket Tacos are absolutely incredible. Enchiladas are good but not different than most places. Loved the hot sauce as well. Go for the Brisket tacos!!

This is one of the best Tex-Mex places in the Medical District! Everything tastes fresh. Proper temperature. Service is Amazing! So friendly, helpful and attentive! Margaritas are really good as well!

I have been going to this location since I started my Engineering Internship since 1997!! I love the food here! the Salsa is basic (Less is More) I always get an order of fresh tortillas and butter with my order. Well i say the food is good but to be honest......I only order the sour cream chicken nachos!! best ever they are the standard for me!!

Went here for the first time the other day for a friends birthday and it was great!! The atmosphere with all the Christmas lights was super fun. The restaurant was just decorated so cute, I love when places are unique like this! Our waitresses and everyone who helped were also very friendly and attentive! And the food was delicious. I had one enchilada and one flauta with rice and beans and it was amazing. My boyfriend had the mole enchiladas and our friend had breakfast which is served all day and everything was wonderful. We even had a piña colada and it was one of the best I’ve had! I will definitely be back and recommend this longtime family restaurant to everyone!

Found this place tucked away and I can't wait to come back. I came in for dinner and was immediately seated. Server was very attentive and checked in regularly. I had the chicken enchiladas with mole and the brisket nachos. They came out quickly, were full of flavor and didn't skimp out on meat. The frozen mango margarita was a nice cooling treat against the bite of the jalapeños in the brisket nachos. They had a wide variety of margaritas and other cocktails. The decor was the traditional texture mex place with multicolored string lights covering the ceiling. Very festive and warm feeling without the obnoxiously loud music. A place where you can actually have a conversation amongst yourselves. Plenty of free, in-lot parking.

I have driven by but not stopped to try until today. I came with my good friend to have dinner. We tried the Ribeye Asada and Brisket tacos. Both were delicious. The chips come with a salsa dip, it was a bit on the tart side but still good. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Authentic Tex-Mex that has a great ambience tailored for the whole family! This menu has a great variety of Tex Mex cuisine that caters to the meat lovers, the vegans and even enchiladas consolers! If you are wanting a great place for Mexican food and some bomb Margaritas this is your place and for even greater experience try their queso dip (it even comes with ground beef!)

Great food, delicious. The brisket tacos and charro beans were amazing. I didn't enjoy the additional fee for using my credit card.

I'll tell you what...I had, the #11 chilli rellano with brisket, queso with beef, guacamole, pico diliayo, cheese enchillado,beef taco, and a frozen margarita. It's not brisket,( roast beef) the sml. Queso with beef 👎. Everything else great. But the best thing is the music, old Tejano music from the 90's. My server Martin was excellent 👍.

Love the atmosphere and the staff! They are all very attentive, energetic, and very pleasant. The food was okay, however the tortillas and salsa not so much.

Great, great service! This place has a friendly staff and they were so attentive. It is a good old-fashioned Tex-Mex food. I was thrilled they have chicken mole enchiladas. They were good. Everything had that classic Tex-Mex flavor. And the refried beans had an excellent bacon flavor. It was nice!! The queso and chips were okay. The salsa definitely had a kick to it. They have the classic Tex-Mex decor as well. They have the cute little piñatas is the front area and papel picado all over the dining areas. That plus the cute lights made for a festive atmosphere. Oh and the prices are amazing. Everything was a bargain.

Our group of four adults and two children had a pretty disappointing experience. I ordered the crispy tacos with beef, and I have never in my life had creamy taco meat. It was mixed with something that gave it a strange, unpleasant texture and honestly, it was horrible. The rice that came with it was cold, which didn’t help the overall impression. On top of the poor food quality, we were charged an extra $3.50 just for using a debit card, which felt unnecessary and excessive. Then, when we got the check, we noticed that gratuity had been automatically added. With fewer than eight people in our group, that was unexpected and, frankly, felt like poor customer service. Tips should be earned through great food and great service, not automatically assumed. Considering how disappointing the meal was, I suppose the automatic gratuity explains itself. Overall, between the cold food, the strange taco meat, the surprise fees, and the forced tip, this is not a place I’d recommend or return to.
