The valentine 3 courses menu was delicious. My wife and I took both options and shared. Appetizers and Entrees were as good as each other. The rose desert was way better than the other option. Great wine pairing. Harmony, our waitress was superb. We asked to move to a table overlooking downtown and were accommodated. Great experience overall. Live pianist in the background. Beautiful view. Plan for $200/person w/o tip but if you can afford it well worth it! Perfect romantic Valentine dinner!
This was our second time there. Keith was an example of what the fine dining experience should be. He was very friendly, helpful and most importantly knowledgeable. He provided me with all of the information I needed to make an informed decision on what it was I ate on valentines day. He made my beautiful date feel special as well as me. The manager even complimented us with special treat so we will be sure to be back.
Service was the best! I had the Wagyu Ribeye and it was so amazing! The rolls that the waitress recommended were the bomb! And the honey butter was fire! Couldn't recommend this place enough and definitely will be returning to try more items soon!
My gf and I had a amazing time at Ser on our first visit. We went the day before valentines and the ambiance, views, music and food were all 10/10. We both got the filet w truffle butter which was cooked and seared to perfection. You know it’s good when it melts in your mouth. The balsamic carrots and mac n were *chefs kiss*! For dessert, the lemon cheesecake was off the chain. Nonna (sp?) took great care of us, will be back for sure.
We celebrated our anniversary at SER Steak and Spirits and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived the ambiance set the tone. It was elegant warm and inviting. The live piano music added such a beautiful touch and once we were seated we were treated to a stunning view of downtown Dallas that made the night feel even more special. We were greeted by Robert who truly made the experience exceptional. Even while managing multiple tables he made sure to check in on us throughout the evening and made us feel genuinely cared for. A world class waiter in every sense. The food was equally outstanding. Every plate was thoughtfully crafted full of flavor and beautifully presented. You can really tell the chef puts intention and creativity into each dish. From the service to the food to the overall atmosphere we loved every moment of our time at SER. It was the perfect place to celebrate such a meaningful occasion and we will definitely be back.
We went 2 nights in a row! From the the Valet to the Server the SĒR steak house and lounge is one in a million! We routinely visit this restaurant and they never fail to empress!!! It's better than the Ritz Carlton Dallas!!! Deonta ( Valet) Marcus (Waiter), Kyle, Lexi, and Ashlee (Bartenders)! Thank you for a memorable experience!
Tonight a group of 10 colleagues met for dinner. We are staying at The Hilton Anatole. There are wonderful views and the seating was plentiful and comfortable. We needed a reservation. The seafood appetizer had the most beautiful presentation. Everyone was pleased! I had a filet with a bleu cheese crust. It was wonderful. So were the brussel sprouts, mac n cheese and mushrooms. The woman next to me had the salmon and raved about it. The service was excellent.
We’ve visited SĒR Steakhouse multiple times, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere, stylish interior, and incredible view of the Dallas skyline make it one of the city’s most memorable dining spots. The food is consistently outstanding — from appetizers to main courses, everything is rich in flavor and beautifully presented. This time, we also tried several new desserts, and they weren’t just delicious — they were works of art. The cheesecake in particular was perfection: just the right amount of sweetness without being overly sugary. I don’t drink, but my colleagues did and said the cocktails were fantastic.
Went here for our anniversary dinner and we absolutely loved the experience. The beef rib was enormous; the lamb rack was cooked to perfection, and every single side dish we ordered was phenomenal (highly recommend the corn brûlée was amazing!) The drinks were delicious and our server was awesome. The view at night was oh so romantic. Will definitely go back again!
My wife and I had a fantastic dinner here, made even better by the breathtaking Dallas skyline view. The food was exceptional, we shared a perfectly cooked medium-rare porterhouse steak, paired with the smoothest, creamiest mashed potatoes I’ve ever had. The dinner rolls were so good we had to order more! Adam, our server, was amazing and gave great insights into the menu. The wine selection was extensive, and the smoked old fashioned was a standout. I almost forgot about the dessert, they were beautifully decorated and delicious. Everything from the service to the ambiance made for a stupendous evening. We’ll definitely be back! Cheers.
This is an excellent restaurant for those culinary connoisseur and can appreciate high quality food. The menu is not extensive, but it is well crafted. Everything we ordered was 5 stars, even the smashed potatoes and the mushrooms were and cooked To perfection. It’s an upscale restaurant. The interior is magnificent and the view of the city set the tone. Plenty of seats to accommodate a large group. The service is outstanding. Will def recommend this place and comeback on my next trip.
We went for the valentine special menu. The appetizers were ok, on the entree the steaks were not yummy and very rubbery, but the desserts were excellent.loved the presentation too and the pairing of the different wines on every course.had to mention London on her exemplary service. Our second time here and as always had a great time
Food was great. Bread and sides were fantastic. The steak was very good, but there are a few better steaks in Dallas. Would definitely still come back and eat here. Got to meet the general manager, Ron. Service was fantastic. Would recommend!
I recently dined at SĒR Steak + Spirits and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment I walked in, I felt warmly welcomed and attended to with care. The breakfast buffet, while not mind-blowing, offered a decent selection of items to start the day off right. Overall, I left satisfied and impressed by the above-decent experience. Four stars well deserved!
I went here during restaurant week to celebrate a friends birthday. The mixed salad was delicious. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. For sides we had whipped potato (very buttery and good)carrots (good but a little oily and limp) and Brussels sprouts which I didn’t taste The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was dessert. There were 2 options and I’m not a big fan of cheesecake or crème brûlée. But they were prepared and served with care and my friends enjoyed theirs.
Let’s start out with the fact it’s on the 27th floor which provided amazing views of the city lights. That was a great touch and the ambiance of the setting was delightful. We had to await the host to get to the desk to give our reservation about 10 min but he was great and even came and helped bring us a pitcher of Tea for my spouse. Our server was attentive and great to work with. She brought us bread as a selection to get us started before our order. She even offered great desert selections. We order steak onions & mushrooms for my spouse that seemed to have a nice piece of fat on it, he just didn’t like the peppercorn sauce. I ordered the lamp chops well done with Brussels sprouts , they came out nice , only 1 wasn’t well done and had pink so I didn’t eat it. I had the barbecue sauce which gave the seasoning I was looking for as it did need a little more seasoning if you ask me. We were able to meet the chef Mike and thank him for his service and he also recommended desert. My daughter had the chicken , Mac n cheese, and baked potato. Now the highlights were the desert. The presentation was top tier. We were going to pack them to go but the server suggested to try a bite and take pictures and I’m glad we did. My spouse and I enjoyed the cheese cake , the strawberry cake& strawberry milk pores upon it , and the chocolate cake with chocolate sauce. The lobby was a nice touch with a wide selection of wines & champagnes. If your a car head like me I immediately was pulled into the wall displays of car embalmes for classic cars, like the 1956 Buick Special Airlplane, Pontiac’s Indian embalme, The Rolls Royce lady etc. There was even room for a baby grand piano. There was seating for groups and plenty window seats to overlook the Down Town views. Overall it was a great spot for a date night but bring your pocketbook we paid about $450
We recently attended a dinner party here celebrating a friend’s birthday. The view (from the 27th floor) and ambiance were absolutely wonderful! The live piano music was soothing and made the atmosphere relaxing and very romantic. Our server (Keith) provided excellent service and did an amazing job taking care of our party! He explained the most popular items on the menu, made suggestions for first time guests and made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable celebration. There were mixed reviews among our party about the food and it was overpriced. We had lobster bisque soup, crispy Brussel sprouts, Mac-n-Cheese and Parker Rolls. Everything was ok but the soup was delicious. If you’re looking for an upscale dining experience near downtown that is not crowded and cost is not a factor, you may enjoy it. Sorry, didn’t take any photos.
We came here for Valentine’s Day and overall had a bit of a mixed experience. The night started off well, we were greeted and seated promptly by the host, which we appreciated.I chose the Valentine’s prix fixe menu because I wanted to try the chef’s curated selections, and the entrées were really good. We did have to wait a few minutes for her to bring the steak knife’s out before we could start the meal because it wasn’t done prior to the entree arrival. The food was definitely the highlight of the evening.Where things started to decline was toward the end of the night. Our server asked my partner if he wanted another glass of wine, but it never came. For dessert, I ordered the Black Forest cake based on her recommendation. When she brought out the rose, I was confused and even asked her if that was the cake. I genuinely wasn’t sure if the cake was somehow inside the rose because we have not dined here before. She clarified that it was the cake instead. I had actually asked for the cake to be boxed to go, especially since it was taking quite a while for her to return to the table throughout the night. It wasn’t until we arrived home that I realized it was the incorrect dessert .For a bill close to $400, I expected the service to be more attentive and polished from start to finish. The food was great, but the service missteps toward the end took away from what was supposed to be a special evening.Hopefully this feedback is helpful, because the kitchen clearly delivers the service just needs to consistently match the price point.
We decided to do a Valentine’s dinner here. We ate from the Valentine menu they had which was a three course meal with wine pairings. The appetizers were good. Everything after that was nothing to write home about. We did try one through aside from the wine pairings, and those were ok. The atmosphere was lovely and the services nice. If you’re looking very a great spot to see Dallas’ skyline while eating, this is a good place.
I took my company to SER for our holiday party, as we were genuinely excited based on the reputation and strong recommendations. I’m a member of a Dallas steak club and had previously missed a dinner at SER, but everything I heard suggested it was one of the best steak spots in DFW. Maybe expectations were too high. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. Several steaks arrived cold, and many were cooked to incorrect temperatures. The majority of my team had issues with their meals, which was disappointing and honestly embarrassing for me given that this was a company event. Several team members came up to me throughout the night and started suggesting alternative venues for next year. It’s incredibly discouraging and embarrassing when you put significant time and effort into planning and hosting a company event, only for it to fall so short. It made me feel incompetent in front of my team. A few members of our team asked for to-go boxes and were initially told no. While the staff eventually accommodated the request, it felt unusual. To be fair, the sides were excellent, and our server did an outstanding job. I run a small business and I understand that restaurants can have off nights, which is why I’m giving three stars. That said, after spending over $7500, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had.
We had reservation on quiet Monday night with only few tables. It was birthday dinner. We were greeted warmly by host. However, service felt very rushed and nothing felt like a fine dining experience. Salmon was not good. Steak was really good. Dessert was amazing. Drinks were good. *Dined in mid July
Valentine’s Day we had a great experience. Everyone was so nice, from host stand to the server. We tried the oysters (to fishy), wings(great), mac & cheese (too sweet), mushrooms (very earthy taste), and whipped potatoes (decent). Most of the food was a bit bland. The entrees were really good. We had the scallops & the chicken which were just enough in portion.
We had an earlier dinner reservation for three and candidly I was a little frustrated that they tucked us away in a far back corner with no view of the skyline, especially considering there were no other diners at that time. The food is good and well plated but incredibly overpriced, and without the benefit of the view it left me feeling pretty disappointed in our meal. I’d actually recommend the regular hotel restaurant on the lobby floor over this one for any other business travelers.
Went here for my anniversary dinner and was excited for the night. Got greeted and seated in good manner but once it was our waiters turn it went down hill from there. Felt rushed and didn’t feel welcomed, we thought maybe we are over thinking it but then analyzed the behavior at other tables and you instantly see the difference in tone, facial expressions and communication. Food took a while to come out but tasted great, and the view was great even though I requested a window table and was seated elsewhere. I would say the waiter was maybe just rushing out for the night but didn’t sit well with us and had a side with more than half a portion left so we asked to box the remaining of the unfinished dishes and only got out steak and nothing else. My anniversary still was fun elsewhere but won’t be returning here.
