Amazingly remodeled and professionally set up to maximize a comfy environment amist this aweful Pandemic. Add a whole new menu and speed of service without jeopardizing the quality of food and you have a very nice Cafe inside the Dallas Zoo!

It was clean with plenty of options. Breakfast items before 10am and salads, burgers, fries and other items after 10am. The place is huge, with collectors cups of all kinds that look great. I had the cheeseburger with fries. It was a good beef patty, nice soft toated bun, and good fresh fixings. The fries were hot and cripsy, they had a number of sauces for dipping. You can dine inside in A/C, or outside in the sun or shade, it's surrounded with plenty of trees. A nice little respite after lots of walking around the zoo.

I consider this place the Dallas Zoo’s main restaurant. It has a variety of different foods. It’s not fast food pricing but it’s worth the money. Very good and it’s almost a must to visit at least once whenever coming out to the zoo. Would definitely try again.

Service and cleanliness was excellent. Food was generous for prices. Food was very good in freshness and flavor. Highly recommended.

Food good ,plenty seating area. The only thing is they need to improve the doors with handicap push button to open.

Food was alright, but not worth the price. It's also not clear how you go about actually ordering food. Employees weren't very attentive, though kind and helpful when asked direct questions.

Pulled up for curb side pick up, called and was told it would be right out. Waited 13 minutes and called back, they didn't know I was out there cause the girl who answered the phone forgot to tell them I was there. Pizza was no longer hot by the time I got home. They were not busy, I watched the girls standing around talking, while my pizza set getting cold.

Food wasn’t that good for the price and they charge you $7 for a drink but you don’t get a refill unless you buy the expensive souvenir cup. $65 for 3 people is ridiculous. Will not eat here ever again!

The prices are outrageous! Bought a fountain drink & expected to be no more than 4-5 dollars & the drinks came out to be $7 with no refills ! Just because they aren’t the plastic cups. The pizza tasted like cardboard as well & my pizza had a hair !! I think they should improve the quality of the food for the price that we’re paying.

The food was super pricey and nasty. We got the burger and chicken strip basket spent about $40 and had no more then a couple bites and it still made us sick to our stomachs.

Worst I have encountered in years! Dirty tables, apparently no one working, no trays to carry your burger baskets etc., soda fountains needed changed, no employees interested in that either....

My review here is based entirely on the fact that I was very clear about my celiac disease / gluten allergy, and they still made me very very ill. I know it likely comes down to being understaffed and underpaid, but I would much rather an establishment tell me "we can't serve you" than spend all night vomiting, which is what happened. :/ Food tasted fine, the decor was nice, but they absolutely need to take allergens more seriously.

The food is overpriced, which can be expected because it’s inside the zoo, but the quality is even worse. My wife had a burger and I had the brisket sandwich, both of which were disgusting. Pretty sure they microwaved the meat. The AC also didn’t seem to be working in the building.

Do not eat here... not only is it over priced for what you get my cheese burger was so cold that the stale bun it was on was higher temperature. The slice of processed oily cheese on the burger was stiff and as dry as the lettuce the slice of unripe yet mushy tomato on it was dripping cold water onto the bun making it soggy. There is absolutley no way that the seemingly boiled pre-formed hamburger patty was more than 75 degrees- colder than room tempature. I begrugedly complained and did recieve a new soggy equally repulsive replacement. But it was only about 2 degrees warmer than the first one. It is not only disgusting but very highly likely to eat food not at correctly cooked temps. Do better. Do way better!
