Sat on the patio one evening. Service was prompt and helpful, not overbearing. She recommended all the dishes we ordered and was spot on. We really enjoyed the meal. The portions were on the smaller side but worked out perfectly. I would rather get a few dishes and share vs being overwhelmed with sheer volume of food. The star for us was the Panna Cotta - rich and delicious. Would definitely go again if in the area.

Left my review on social media and forgot to put one here. Had Homeslice for the first time a week ago and it was soooo good!!!! Perfect dough and amazing flavor. I had a pepperoni pizza with added pineapples and my two friends each got a different type of pizza. Everyone loved what they had. Zero complaints. 10/10

Had a nice lunch here on a Friday afternoon. Our bartender Anthony was friendly and efficient but a little green on experience with making drinks. The lasagna nachos were interesting. Definitely had lasagna vibes and the texture and crunch of the almond flour pasta chips was something I had not experienced before. The Maximus pizza was great. The crust was soft and crispy in the right way, the topping amount was good and I think the size may have changed/increased since some of the earlier reviews. I’m definitely coming back to try more dishes. I think they have a lot of potential and will only improve over time. Update 11/8/25 Saturday afternoon lunch - wow, so many good things to say about our experience here today. The wings are amazing! Crispy and the garlic sauce with the Calabrian chilies really set these apart from just standard buffalo sauce. Spoke with Chef Mark for a bit and he brought out some off-menu Italian wedding soup for us to sample and it was the right amount of spicy and savory with the Calabrian chili on top of the roasted meatball. I really hope this becomes a regular menu item! Can’t recommend this place enough. Trae and Casey were so friendly and kind. We’ll be back!

Came here for a limited-menu lunch service prior to their full opening and if it is any indication of what to expect in October, we are game! I’m super particular about my pizzas and theirs checked everything off my list. Great quality, flavors, chew and since I’m a forker and my husband is a folder, the pizza took care of us both. We also had their gnocchi app, and I could have eaten the whole thing by myself. Deeelicious! Big points on the Paloma as well. Atmosphere is airy and industrial/modern with friendly service. I love that it’s a great neighborhood DP vibe and perfect whether with adults or kids. This is definitely our new favorite pizza spot in DP, and we’re so looking forward to trying the rest of their menu soon!

With all of the new changes and growth in the community, HomeSlice is such a wonderful addition to the restaurant scene. The Roots (beet salad), Lamb Choppy pops (should be called bomb pops), and Margarita pizza. So many delicious items. Perfect to share. All the signature cocktails are uniquely crafted and flavorful. Sasha is an outstanding mixologist, her recommendations were on point. Sasha’s welcoming smile and personality was a joy to dine with any night of the week. By far our new go to upscale pizza spot.

Beachside dining in the open air. The owner fit us right in during the busy Car Show Sunday. Our group ordered everything from sandwich, salad, bread appetizers, wings, cocktails and beer. The consensus was that everything was good. Our server was great too.

Downtown Dana Point is undergoing a makeover and Homeslice sits proudly on the corner. Beautiful restaurant and a nice open air vibe. The cocktails are really well made. Baked burrata was delicious. Our bartender was super friendly.

Dinner was amazing as always. Go to is always an app, share a salad and 2 pizzas. Pollo picante is my fave (along with forager and maximus). The nachos are legit. Meatball sub ya cant go wrong if not in the mood for pizza. Service is always great. Great staff. Chill vibes.

We had the most amazing dinner tonight! We had the Chimichurri steak, along with stuffed Jalapenos's, artichoke appetizer, pizzas and pasta! The food was amazing as well as the service. The owner came around and talked to us several times which was fun! Celebrated our daughter's birthday with a big group. We couldn't have had a better experience. Can't wait to come back and sit on the patio this summer!

Gosh, their pepperoni pizza is so good. I’m lactose intolerant, but once in a while I take lactaid and eat a whole pizza. You can imagine how picky I am - if I’m gonna wreck my gut, it better be worth it lol. And this pizza is so worth it. Delicious!!

Great dinner spot in Dana Point, highly recommend! Our hostess was very nice and was a big help getting us a comfortable table for the three of us. We have a toddler, and although they do not have a kids menu, she suggested a side of butter pasta for our son. So we decided to go for it and wow, what a great choice! It was fitting that after watching the pirate cannonball shootoff outside of Baby Beach at we would run into Jack Sparrow's long lost daughter, who should have a show of her own. Yes, I cannot tell you her name, but this is how I'd describe our hostess, so she gets all the credit for us choosing to dine-in. Our appetizer the bruschetta with pesto was one of the best appetizers I've ever had. If there is really a spirit world, I let Anthony Bordain know, so he should be reincarnating himself as a baby to a nice Dana Point couple. So guys, hang in there, everyone deserves to try this appetizer! Our busser was very nice and welcoming, and our server Brian was top-notch. Seems everyone was enjoying the pizzas here, I even saw an 11-month old slamming a slice of cheese. Good vibes all the way around, highly recommend, will def be back!

This place is awesome for pizza if you're ever in Dana Point. The vibe lets you see the main traffic, hear the street sounds, and enjoy the city. Our table was in front of the prep window. We were able to enjoy drinks while watching these guys prepare our dough and make our pizzas. Pretty sweet setup. Price was what you would expect for this area. Overall great experience.

Glad this place opened in Dana Point. Fresh wood fired pizzas with a nice thin crust and good char. Bonus for the cup sized pepperoni 🍕 These are small enough to eat for individual or you can share for a light snack. You can takeaway and bring your nearby ale house for a perfect complement

Had to swing through dana point and grab some food. This was a nice spot to stop in, with decent food. The baked burrata had great bread that pulled apart with good flavors. The burrata kinda of melted into the sauce. The wings were good, with some fun, different flavors. Would recommend. My kid got the pizza and he scared it down, so a good family stop for sure!

This place is fun and has great food, but lately they've been closing sooooooo early. About a month ago I got there at 8pm and the place was fully closed and they refused to seat us. I gave a 2nd chance this week and got there at like 7:15 and by 8p they were putting chairs on the tables and shoo'ing us out the door. I know it's South Orange County, but 8pm is not an acceptable time for a restaurant to close. Their posted time of 9pm is ridiculous enough and it seems like they are having trouble even holding to that. It makea it hard to give a business your money when they don't stay open to accept it.

I don’t know if it was because it was close to closing time, mind you we got here at 7:30 and seated at 8:25, but the bar service was terrible. Bartender was just so rude and made us feel very unwelcomed. Didn’t get carded to buy drinks but my Hispanic partner got carded for WATER. Anyways good place, but terrible bartending service.

On March 7, 2026 I attempted to dine here but unfortunately had to leave without eating due to how my service animal was handled. The manager informed me that my service animal was not allowed inside because the restaurant has an “open kitchen,” and I was told I would need to remain outside in the heat. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California law, service animals are permitted in restaurants and other public businesses anywhere customers are normally allowed to be. An open kitchen does not change that requirement, as service animals can only be excluded from actual food preparation areas where customers themselves are not permitted. Because of this, we chose to leave rather than sit outside in the heat. I hope management takes the time to review ADA and California service animal access laws so that others are not put in this situation in the future.

I live in Dana Point and I was really hoping for a great pizza place to enjoy as the the location is great. Unfortunately this place really disappoints and it’s expensive. The pizza is just ok and the service it not great and the wine is expensive. For a single pizza plus a glass of house wine the total was 50.00 this is a lot there are many other restaurants in the area that offer a much better experience and taster pizza. Don’t waste your money. Not worth it. I hope they regroup.
