I visited the Chipotle on 49th Street in Hialeah today at 1:39 p.m., and my experience was extremely disappointing. While waiting in line, the couple in front of me had a bowl with white rice already served when the store ran out of chicken. The employee took the rice that had already been placed in their bowl and dumped it back into the main rice container, mixed it in, and continued serving from it. That is clear cross-contamination and completely unacceptable from a food safety standpoint. It got worse. When I asked for fresh pico because the one on the line looked watery and soggy, they brought out a fresh container — but then poured the drained, old pico right back on top of the new batch and tried to serve it to me. At that point, I told them I didn’t want the food anymore and walked out. The staff was unprofessional,and showed no regard for food quality or sanitation. This location seriously needs better training and management oversight. Very disappointed.

Came in yesterday trying to place an order. Immediately there was no white rice and had to wait… fine. Waited for white rice then asked for carne asada and again there was no carne asada and had to wait for it to be made. I asked if they could let me know about how long and out of the five people present nobody knew and just stood around looking confused. Then one SNATCHED AMY BOWL, sighed and went to the to go counter to try to grab carne asada but there was none there either. The cook didn’t bother to say how long either and just gave a nasty face. At this point I didn’t want to eat food made with such anger and hate and decided to walk out. This location needs better training or at least employees with basic manners and some type of knowledge.

Unfortunately, the cashier named Glenny made the ratings dropped to a one star. She was the only one in the team that was not attending customers. When my burrito was halfway made, she walked away to clean the lobby. The lobby was not that dirty, and there was no customers in the seating area. There was a line of about 5 to 7 people behind me. When my burrito was done, I was ready to pay. I waited about one minute and she did not pay attention at all or acknowledge that the line was moving to the register. She kept cleaning her tables without any care of having to bring up customers. While there’s another girl filling up the line and the other person that’s making the food by themselves. At this point, she’s the only one on the register so I let her know I was ready to pay and she told me to hold on so she can keep cleaning the tables and when she decided she wanted to come ring me up that’s when she moved to the register. Unfortunately, my burrito was sitting at the register for like about five minutes before I figured out she was the only cashier available. While my food gets cold. Then I have to pay full price for half cold food, which is ridiculous. The manager from this location needs to do a way better job the cashier. It’s just worried about chitchatting through her shift and ignoring customers. Not very good for running a business.

Absolutely horrendous customer service. The employees are rude, dismissive, and act like they couldn’t care less about the service they provide. Ordering online is a complete gamble half the time the order is wrong, and when you show them the proof of what you actually ordered, they still give you a hard time and argue with you instead of fixing their mistake. It’s extremely frustrating and disappointing to deal with staff who clearly don’t want to be there. I’d rather drive a little further than come to this location. Get it together, Chipotle. Hire employees who actually care about their job and the customers they’re serving. Until then, I won’t be coming back.

I guess because I don't speak Spanish I don't deserve good customer service. Glenny just slid my food to me and gave me the most disgusting look after I said thank you. Hey one thing I don't do is judge people or discriminate against anyone because I work in the service industry. But the treatment I get evwrytime I come to this location leaves a bad taste in my mouth for the brand. And sadly it's the same thing at cfa next door. If your not Spanish they treat you like crap.... management needs to check the people at the register because that's the last point of contact for customers to either return or never step foot back into their establishment. Rude to me but smiled with the next customer behind me. Guess what language he spoke. 🤷🏾‍🤷🏿‍♂️ maybe my money spends differently here. Well I'm leaving a review this time because I will not be stepping foot back in this location.

Board of health needs to come here and Corporate needs to do a surprise visit. I frequently eat at Chipotle, by far my favorite fast food restaurant. I just got brown guacamole on my to go order, stale chips, my plate was definitely half empty. Need to do better with deliveries. I ordered a kids meal with tacos, beans, meat, and corn and this is what I got... just beans. My chips and guacamole did not come at all. And the burrito didn't have the protein (chicken) or the veggies. How they managed to mess up everything in the order is beyond me.
