I had a blast yesterday when I came to eat. Food 10/10 - atmosphere 10/10 - Hannah stone gave the best service I have had in a while. 10/10 - definitely going to come back again, and I do recommend for every to go at least 1 time.

Hannah was absolutely amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. You can tell she really cares about her customers and enjoys what she does. Our food came out perfect, and her service made the whole experience even better. Definitely ask for Hannah if you go you won’t be disappointed!

Just a shout out to The North Rig Grill in Denison, Texas! A much needed break after the hustle and bustle of the Thanksgiving holiday! We all enjoyed the delicious food and drinks served in a timely manner. We were well taken care of by Elise at the indoor dining area and then Carl when we moved to the covered outdoor area so we could be a little more vocal watching OU football! One of our favorite hangouts for many reasons!!

We came through from out of town and this place feels like home. Comfortable atmosphere. Staff is genuine and amazing at their jobs. To top it off the food is amazing and the beer is cold. Oh and the prices are perfect and more food then your used to on your plate.

Chicken fried steak was great. You get two sides with your meal. Mashed potatoes and onion rings were good. Service was quick and very attentive. Kids had chicken stripe and loved them. Solid choice for lunch or dinner

The food was great, I had the butterflied chicken, fried okra, and garlic mashed potatoes. I would give it an 7 out of 10. Portion size was perfect. The service was great. Our glasses stayed full. It was a little pricey, but the service was perfect and the wait time was minimal. We will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere! The appetizers are one of the best things they have going along with great spicy Bloody Mary's. Our server Elise was friendly and took good care of us. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area.

Great menu prepared wonderfully. Service was good. Atmosphere has been good at every visit. Noise level is good, I can have a conversation and hear while dining unlike Texas Roadhouse.

I've been meaning to try this place and finally got the chance on this Sunday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by the interior, it was clean, well kept, and much more upscale-looking than I expected given the name of the place. The service was friendly and the food came out fairly quickly. My steak was a little overcooked, but that is not unusual for a thin 8oz sirloin. I ordered it medium and it came out well done. The salad was fresh and the baked sweet potato was melt in your mouth, delicious. The burger and fries my son ordered was large portions and very good, according to him. I felt it was slightly over priced, but we did enjoy the food. We might go back when they have live music and order the steak medium rare next time.

Spike Speedwell

Iconic oilfield symbols; a pump jack inside and outside a derrick supports the restaurant’s sign. Scenes of the oil boom days cover the walls. In between the oilfield murals, taxidermy mounts of African big game in their final eternal pose. Some look startled as if looking for the origin of the gunfire they never heard. A leopard pauses in mid step, slinking down from its lair. Remnants of the days when oil money was flowing, even gushing like an uncontrolled well. A plate of bacon wrapped jalapenos along with an iced Shiner keep you occupied, while the Texas T-Bone you ordered is being prepared to a perfect medium rare. A hot blond sipping a martini on the patio improves the view. They could have filmed a scene of Paramount’s Landman here…. I had Fridays Special, “Fish and Chips” and a diet Coke. The fish was a little greasy, the service was good.

I went here for Mother's Day. The food and drinks were good it was a little pricey but at least it made me full. Sherry was chill definitely give her a raise \n8/10

I ordered the salmon dinner with Mac and cheese and a salad. I will say the Mac and cheese was excellent!!! The ranch for the salad is that good good ranch love it’s… the salmon however… was not blackened as that’s how I ordered it. Not only was it not prepared as requested it had no seasoning to taste to it while it does look like it does it did not. The sweet tea was good. Service over all was good. The fried zucchini was good. But while we paid a lot for the salmon I would have expected it to better and cooked as ordered. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and it was dry wasn’t great.

As much as I want to give 5 stars because we absolutely love the food. We came the first time a month ago and the service was so long. It took 10 min just for anyone to talk to us. The food was amazing. So we thought we would try it again. It was NOT packed. We were seated right away but then took 20 mins to get our drinks and waited 55 mins to get our food. Unfortunately it is sad because the food is great but the service is way too slow.

The menu looked good so decided to try it, food was bland and waitress got my mom's salad order wrong. Also the chili had no beans, it was a very thick all meat crumbles, a different kind of chili. We have been coming here a few times for lunch or a quick dinner. Ordered French dip which was made with scrapped crumbs from what I assume was a grease trap from the griddle. Said something and a manager never came and I never received a credit even though I ate not 1 bite. I assume there are good managers and bad managers at this place and I'd bet the bad stars align with who was there tonight.

I have worked as a server and worked on the holidays, so I am exceptionally understanding. My family and I patiently waited and watched other tables greeted before us. The waitress seemed to be keeping up the best she could, so I decided to go straight to the manager hoping he would get her some help. The manager came out but he threw down the silverware and menus, and seemed very "put out" by "US". We felt very uncomfortable, and decided not to spend our money there. It is difficult when you work hard all week & want to have a nice dinner with family and be treated equally and respectfully. Now we are getting Chinese food and supporting a small family business instead.
