My new favorite DQ. The staff here is always working. Either helping customers or keeping the restaurant clean. They always have a smile and have a great positive attitude, even when they are busy. Service with a smile. Hard to find these days. Go and say hi. I highly recommend.
Chocolate shake and soft serve cone 😋 can't tell you how good it was!!! And the young man behind the counter was very nice and quick to put our to go order together for us ❤️
Great food. Very friendly staff. Very clean restaurant. Very clean bathroom. The service is hard to beat. If you're in the area it's worth the visit.
3/4/24 Stopped in for ice cream, wife orders the peanut buster parfait and I ordered a Reese’s blizzard. The recipe was perfect. The young man making the treats really knows how to mix and make ice cream. Not like the sonic versions. The amount of Reese’s was great. And the ice cream and fudge in the parfait was phenomenal. This is what these desserts are supposed to taste like. Keep it up. 👍 No photos. Already eaten, sorry.
Service was quick, and they weren't that busy. Everyone was satisfied with their ice cream choices. The store was kept clean, considering how old the building is. The employees were very helpful.
Went here a while back and did not have an enjoyable experience. Popcorn chicken tasted like sawdust with breading and there was bullet holes in the framing of the building. Staff seemed unsupervised. Came back today with a friend and very pleasantly surprised with the new changes and staff. Super clean with everything looking polished. Food was great! Popcorn chicken is no longer available- but the chicken sandwich was deliciously crunchy. Drinks were cold and carbonated, etc. etc. the staff here this time were super timely and professional too. I’m not a huge DQ fan but if you like it, you should love this place.
Best DQ around. Best "fast food" burgers by far that can be had in Denton. Piping hot fries and burgers that are literally steaming hot. Fresh crispy lettuce and onions are perfect. Update. Food is just as good, but the place this last time was quite dirty. Tired decor is really showing it's age.
There are not many of these old style Dairy Queens left but if you're in the area ,stop in and get yourself a cold treat ,hot cheeseburger and enjoy a little of the way America looked 20 plus years ago!👍🇨🇱
I just finished probably the best blizzard I have ever had in my life. It had extra butterfinger like I asked and was mixed with the upmost care and love I have ever felt in a frozen treat…definitely hit the craving tonight! 😍 No pic because I ate it too fast 😆
I have always love Dairy Queen! It's like old-fashioned tradition if cooked right,--and it was cooked right. Everything was delicious. Let me just give y'all an update... When I previously said those nice things about this place, especially at this location, it was in the past. But now--I should not have asked my sister to treat me here--it was a BIG MISTAKE!! Her order was great, but when I got the hamburger combo, the fries were pretty good, but my burger was somewhat messy! I asked them to give me mustard with a little taste of mayonnaise, they put ONLY MAYONNAISE on it--they did NOT give me mustard!! Good grief!!! They can't simply follow instructions here?? Dang--just go to the one off of 380!! They are better than this one--even the soda wasn't worth a crap!! Ours was FLAT!!! And NO FLAVOR AT ALL!! Waste of my sister's money, and I wished I could pay her back--and yet WE'RE not coming back!!
This is my favorite Dairy Queen around the DFW area. Super clean and has the best staff. I highly recommend this location. 02-07-2026 Sad to say my visit today was disappointing. The ice cream is delicious, but the seating area was dirty. There was trash on the floors and only 2 clean tables. Even behind the counter had a spoon on the floor. At least 3 people working and no one could find time to clean up. The restaurant was not busy.
This is hands down my favorite DQ. My blizzard is perfection every time and the service is superb!
Very friendly gentleman took our order at the drive thru and fixed our Delicious blizzards. We order three large orders of fries but thought the large would be like a large at McDonald's. Well this bag was very heavy and each order of fries could be enough for at least 3 people. My two grandchildren and myself were Very Much satisfied/happy with our small blizzards and were so full. The fries were delicious and fresh but we only were able to eat 1 order of fries. A lot of leftovers for the next day😋 Would definitely return and recommend.
Stopped by for the first time in 18yrs and though the service was a little slow, the food was amazing and the staff was friendly. I had the best Dude sandwich ever! Well worth the wait! Can’t wait to stop by again!
Old school Dairy Queen with loads of charm and top notch service! I was delighted when I pulled up to see a legit retro DQ restaurant. It reminded me of my childhood. The drive thru service was fast and the size of my Peanut Buster Parfait was great…seemed like some extra ice cream, which I didn’t mind at all! The staff were busy, the inside, while dated, looked super clean and overall it was a terrific experience. I’ll definitely be going back again and again!
Food is good and cook when you order a bit of delay but totally worth it,ice cream blizzards are awesom desserts
Really enjoy the treats. Cheesecake strawberry blizzard and a dipped cone. I only had a small taste of the strawberry Cheesecake blizzard but it was great. They didnt hold back on the topping. We will visit again very soon.
Place has great fresh and hot food, so it's good to get through drive thru. I normally get the chicken tender basket, great price and fills me up. Just have to wait a really long time while they cook it, wouldn't consider this fast food, not fast but worth the wait. Cooked fresh
Gosh it's been so long since I've ventured to a DQ. I have forgotten about their blizzards which is what we stopped for to treat my son, he's 20 lol. Anyway, I had a small soft serve dipped cone. The gentleman making it made it so pretty it looked like the picture only better and wow, not so small I was pleasantly surprised. Needless to say it was gone before we made it home. Now, Go get your grub on
Quality of food is excellent. Service is a bit slow but worth the wait. The building however makes me never want to go inside. I've been going to this place on and off since I was 10 (now 33) and I think they still have the original water damaged ceiling tiles, the same wallpaper, and the same floor. Great store to get food from as long as you go through drive-thru
Not the worse but not the best. The building is very old and could use some updates. When they make the blizzards they pour way to much fixings inside to the point you can't enjoy the ice cream.
As others have said in their reviews, this place is usually slow about getting your order out to you. Although it is slow, the food is good. They make ice cream faster than anything on the menu. Usually only one person is in the back cooking food. Its made to order, so it is fresh. I've found that when they use chocolate ice cream, its actually just vanilla with chocolate syrup in it. Its still good, but it's not the same.
When the lady took our order she sounded like she didnt want to be there and lacked the training that most people who work in customer service should have. Then after we ordered we sat for about 30 minutes at the window waiting to be acknowledged and we didn't until they finished the order. We could barely hear what she was saying and then she took another 5 minutes to get my card back.
We love DQ. We usually go to the one off of 380 & I-35, but this one was closer to us on this particular day. The food and service were great but the eating area was dirty. When I say dirty, I mean ALL the tables needed to be cleaned, the floor needed to be swept and the restrooms needed attention.
5 people Sunday night at 8:30…long drive-thru line so went inside to order. Only 2 other people dining in. No wait to be served. Group ordered blizzards & a hot fudge sundae. Items were good but inconsistently mixed. Servers aren’t friendly.
Service is always very slow. The blizzards are never well mixed. But you always get about half again the normal serving size for the normal price. Edit: They've gone even further down hill. Sat in the drive-through for 5-10 minutes when it was 100 degrees plus while the line didn't move at all. Finally gave up and went to the sonic next door. Sat in the shade and got my ice cream quicker. It's just not worth even trying anymore.
The good is always great, but this place desperately needs upgrades. They don’t have the drive through headsets, just a mic in a stick. If you pull up and the employee is working in other things they can’t communicate. I worked at Wednesdays in the 90’s, they were already 20 years ahead of these guys. The food is awesome, but it is really hard to get it.
25 minutes to get 3 burgers and fries. The team were nice but that's about it. Food was room temperature when I got it but wasn't worth another 20 minutes to mention it to them.
I ordered a banana split blizzard in the drive thru. A block down the road I had not gotten anything but ice cream out of the cup even after stirring it so I turned around and went back. I was told that everything was at the bottom. Well sure enough there was a tiny bit on the bottom. In all my years of experience eating blizzards I have never had one so poorly made. I believe the person making it is supposed to blend it so all of the ingredients are mixed throughly. This person needs some more training on blizzard making. I won't be back
The food was good enough, but the staff was surly. I got the impression that they were not particularly happy to be there, nor glad that I was there. The water fountain has a paper sack on top as a sign saying 'Out of order', but it has been there long enough to become discolored - it looks dirty. You'd think they would get it fixed in a more timely manner. There are enough other options nearby that I will not likely return any time soon.
I went to order food and ice cream cone that was supposed to be for a dollar but they wouldn't honor the promotion stating they don't do that Eben though I mentioned it at the drive through. There were no ought communication and they seemed unhappy being there. Normally I've had no problems but this was not that day.
Food is excellent. Two areas of improvement: (1) the ladies upfront making the icecream sandwiches need to be wearing gloves when handling food; very unsanitary. (2) speed of service could be better; the car in front of me at the drive thru pulled as soon as I got there but still waited 26 minutes for my order. If it were busy, I could understand the wait.
We've been going here for years it's always been alright/ decent service most the time everyone is cool no big deal. The food is hot and good dairy queen. Nothing special usually to be as expected. However as of late there has been terrible service from one individual gentleman. My wife has experienced his "were closed" when it was 30 min before the close. To the "what do you want" greeting. Tonight I experienced the "yeah" greeting and literally no customer service at the window. I got the price when the window open, and the I'll be back after he got the card. No words of anything else. No napkins no manners no nothing. Mind you I'm the "hey how's it going" "here ya go bud" and "Thank you sir" guy. I've been retail and food industry I get it so I give it back. I understand the job but damnit you sucked the life out of coming and was negative enough times that a review was the result.
I sat in line in the drive thru for 40 minutes with only 2 cars ahead of me. At the window for 13 before someone ever came to the window. After I paid and another few minutes went by I was asked to pull around front. About 10 minutes later they brought my food out and it was wrong. The young man was very nice about it but considering there are 3 people working just in the front alone and they aren't busy, being in a drive thru for an hour is unacceptable service. This is not an isolated incident either. It is like this every single time I come here. Probably will be a long time before I come back too. Sad because their food is really good. Definitely not worth waiting over an hour for though.
Probably the worst customer service experience I've ever experienced. We arrived at 9:15pm, 45min until they are posted to close. After going through the slowest process of a drive thru ever, mind you we got to the speaker at 9:50. With 7 cars in a drive-thru, 35min is absolutely ubsurd. Not to mention 2 women were inside cleaning, worried about leaving on time. While 1 girl is actually working. Terrible excuse for a Dairy Queen. And a bad representation of the brand itself. After the long wait, we were told we could only order ice cream.
This is sad. The employees no longer wear uniforms. They don't wear hair nets or gloves. The service is slow. I even saw one employee in crocks sitting in the corner behind the counter watching his phone while a line of customers waited to be served. This ain't Texas yall. The old days of professionalism are gone. At the 288 location you will be let down. Stay clear!
Food is hit or miss , made differently every time , fries were brick hard , and the girl bringing my food out tonight (8/15/22) because she told us to park in front and wait for it , had attitude bringing it out . It’s the closest “fast” food to me but I will gladly drive further to spend my money else where and get better service and I think she forgot to give us back our change .
“Kitchen is closed” by 9:30pm when they close at 10pm, I also walk in while there are 3 cars in the drive thru and get told it’s drive thru only??? No signage stating this on any of the doors. Ppl working here are just making up their own rules, it’s ridiculous.
tried to order my food at 9:25 told me the kitchen closes at 9:30 when the restaurant closes at 10 and wouldn’t let me order any but ice cream! 2 boys in the drive through were rude wouldn’t recommend. Would avoid going past 9.
I was waiting in line at the drive through to make an order but apparently no one was taking orders through the speaker so we patiently waited till we got the window. We then tapped on the window and ultimately opened the window to get someone to take our order. It was obvious the person was wearing earphones and listening to music. No wonder they couldn't take orders. I mentioned that she might want pay better attention and she started screaming at me. I asked for my money back and then left. Horrible service, rude staff. Never going back. Drove to the sonic ten feet away. Better service, better people.
This location is horrible. Seems to be ran by children and they have their friends come in and they play and curse all in the lobby instead of work. They never have both the kitchen open and the ice cream machines and they close down whenever they feel like it. They halfway clean and are just all around unprofessional. They need a manager or adult there or something.
Went around 8pm today and girl with short dreads that was taking our order had the worst attitude she made our ice creams sloppy and when we asked if she could re do the chocolate cone that was spilling from every side she gave us attitude and didn't be want to make us a new one she started laughing with the rest if the co works and was just looking at us. It came down to the chef to come out of his way to make it for us. Worst customer service ever and I won't be coming back.
Horrible customer service. This location will waste time and still not cook your food as requested. They stand around joking and playing and refuse to answer the phone for any issues. This location shouldn't even be in business.
I love Dairy Queen, but this location is the worst fast food restaurant I have ever encountered. It has always taken an exceedingly long time to get your order, but tonight was the worst by far. I was fully prepared to wait a long time in the drive thru for my blizzard, and the line was in fact very long. The car at the window didn't move for over 15 minutes. When that car finally left the window the car that had been sitting at the menu speaker that whole time hadn't even ordered yet. I waited another 10 minutes, and the car at the window still hadn't ordered yet. Finally, I decided to park and go inside. Someone had gone in and ordered about 2 minutes before I attempted to do the same. There was a rude employee waiting inside who told me he was closing the lobby. Apparently the lobby closes at exactly 9:19pm. He said, "I'm closing the lobby. It's drive thru only." I said, "I didn't think you were serving the drive thru." He gave me a snarky look as I walked out. He was wearing his pajamas when we had this exchange. Judging by the other comments all the employees need to be fired, or the store should just be closed down. Don't waste your time.
All the employees had Airpods in and ignored us completely until we walked out. Guess they couldn't handle the 2 cars in the drive thru. 🙄
The spicy chicken tenders were disgusting after having to wait over 20 minutes for one 4 piece basket that was $20 with cheese curds that they forgot after waiting 20 minutes and when I went back there was no apology or care from the employees. Go to Canes for chicken, this place is only good for ice cream.
Just had the worst drive-through experience at this location. After politely informing the window attendant that I was missing a chocolate cone she replied "Did I tell you to leave yet?" and proceeded to slam the sliding door in my face. After a couple of minutes, she returned with the missing cone and after handing it to me said "Now you can leave!" and slammed the door. If this location can't handle a two-item order with relatively few people waiting to order/receive their order they shouldn't be in business. I've been coming to this location since I was a kid so it's really disappointing to have this experience. Definitely won't be coming back and would recommend every one who reads to go somewhere else!
Horrible customer service and the manager is a joke! He got my order wrong, then had me waiting in line for almost 30min. Not worth your money. And if you ask for a refund they do not know how to give one.
They close at 10p... At 9:40p, I arrive and they state that the kitchen is closed and ice cream machine is down. Looking inside, none of the workers were actually working. They were just standing around. They were absolutely lying and clearly broke everything down before closing time. 10p close means THAT IS THE TIME YOU STOP SERVING!! Never returning! There's always a long wait any other time!
Love Dairy Queen. This location, though, has very bad service. Sat in the drive-thru for 20 minutes, not annoyed, knowing everything is cooked fresh. The windows girl was just completely rude and unprofessional. They need to fix that.. Noticed the tip jar sitting out is empty. I wonder why..I didn't give her a tip either and I won't return to this location. Looking at other reviews..sounds like it's a regular occurrence. Dairy Queen should be ashamed. She's ruining your location.
I agree with everyone saying they close early. It made me so mad this time because this seems to happen every time. We arrived 30 mins before close and they said kitchen was closed and ice cream machine was “broken.” I really doubt that their machine was down because I’ve come before at similar times and they shut off the lights early almost every time so they can leave early. Just seemed like a very blatant lie. They should update their store hours to show that they really close at 9:30.
The most horrible service! On top of slow service the staffs very rude. They never have a smile. I have never waited so long for an order, in my life. After waiting for 20 min in the drive thru just to order then had to wait at the menu even longer just to place my order. Keep in mind there was only 2 cars in front of me. All we got was a mini blizzard. When we got it, it was already melting all down the side! We had to just throw it away due to the huge mess it was making. This place is highly understaffed and has been for months! I keep trying to give this location a chance, but today did it for me. I will never return here.
Don’t waste your time going to this Dairy Queen. Seems like the management and staff just want to leave early. I get there 30 minutes before they close and they already closed down their kitchen to only serve ice cream. If you are going to advertise on Google and other sites that you are open till 10pm, you should stay open till 10pm. Waste of 15 minutes driving to this location to find out that they closed early doesn’t even earn them 1 star but you have to put something. Very disappointed.
Just left this DQ because the kid making ice cream picked up a dirty dish rag multiple times to wipe his hands before tossing it down and doing it again. Then he used it to clean off the side of a blizzard cup hitting the overflowing ice cream with it. 😢
I've visited this store many times. Customer service is horrible. It's almost like it's against company rules to say "Thank you" or "Have a nice day." Sometimes those little "convenient lies" go a long way in making things more pleasant. The only food item that's satisfying to me are their blizzards, but those are over-priced. The rest of the food is also over-priced. On my last visit, I ordered their HungrBuster combo. When I got the order home, I unwrapped the burger; it looked like someone had assembled it in a blender.
The food was over cooked. The chicken strips were dark we thought they were steak fingers at first. The burger was drowned in Mustard. Burger patty was dry and over cooked. The drink was wrong. We set outside the drive through for a while and didn't mind because we were thinking if we're waiting this long the food is going to be fresh and amazing. The last time we went two women were working. I need them to be working the next time I go. No one finished their food and says a lot because my teen son eats EVERYTHING all of the time. He said we should've have gone next door to Sonic. 40.00 and the food wasn't prepared correctly.
Horrible costumer service! Been here a couple times since Its on my way home from work for a blizzard. The young workers don’t have any manners at all, they are rude and they be taking for ever to make a single item. Went yesterday around 8pm it was someone what busy in drive through. They were 4 cars in front of me and took around 20 min to order my single blizzard. I order and took another 8 to 10 min. Got to the window and another 5 min more. The young lady finally gave me my small blizzard i kindly asked for a lit and she made a face. Got my blizzard and I said thank you and wasn’t even done saying it and she shut the window at me, she was really rude. Apparently she was so busy talking to her friend. I was supposed to be the one annoyed of how they were taking forever and for being rude since I ordered. I’m not saying she wasn’t doing her job i used to work at a restaurant and I now it gets busy but at least be nice and apologize if you’re taking forever to get a single item out. I was chill about it since I wasn’t in a hurry but every time I go there in the afternoon is the same situation. I just hope they change the way they talk to people.
The seasonal chicken and dumplings seem to be made differently at every DQ. These were the worst! Just a few dumplins and some chicken in watered down soup; I've had better from a can! Kids meal was disappointing as well... no dessert and no gravy for steak fingers! Will absolutely not come back to this location.
My hamburger patty tasted like cardboard it was So OVER COOKED AND THIN. It didnt even cover the Bread. It had one TINY Tomato on it, and it was thicker than the meat. Worst hamburger I have EVER Eaten. I Promise from now on It will be Jack in the Box or Sonic from NOW ON. Today is February 1st, 2025!!!
Leticia at the drive thru window has the worst attitude. I asked her a question about adding chocolate to my blizzard and let her know that I would pay for it if it was extra. She rolled her eyes so hard at me. She’s extremely unprofessional and shouldn’t be working in customer service.
If you have an hour of time to waste on a perfectly good Monday evening, go to this Dairy Queen’s drive through. Lots of people decided they didn’t have the time and left without ordering after waiting 20 minutes
Believe the one star reviews. That was the worst burger and fries I've had in a long time. Although the fries were hot, they tasted odd as though they were previously frozen. The single burger was just sad and not fresh. The blizzard was fine. Tables inside are dirty. The price was also really high for what it was too!! Save yourself some money and go to In N Out or literally any other burger joint rather than this Dairy Queen.
Horribly slow. Like 30 minutes in the drive-thru slow. Everyone inside just walking around casually. No urgency. Could use some training.
Went to the drive thru. Ordered a mini salted caramel blizzard. A Hispanic lady made it and handed it to me. Other girl working the window took my payment. When she returned with my card I asked if it was made with chocolate ice cream. Was absolutely delicious. She asked the Hispanic lady who made it. That evil woman Jenks the window open and very rudely tells me it's what I ordered and said they don't have chocolate ice cream then roller her eyes. I told her that she didn't have to be rude and she made a really ugly face and rolled her eyes again. Horrible hateful person. Smh..
Slowest location ever and they don’t even apologize for the long wait you’ll be lucky to even get a blizzard within 30 minutes. This place has fallen off bad over the years .
This place needs to be studied. There’s gotta be a story that explains how bad it is
Ordered a large s’mores blizzard only the top of was s’mores mixture. The rest of it was just plain vanilla ice cream so disappointed.
The place is a mess. They are unknowledgeable of the products that they offer such as the tropical blizzard. The lady at the front was less than personable and did not make our ice cream properly. When we inquired about this the manager was rude and definitely doesn’t know what customer service is. 10/10 do not recommend this location.
Being here for good 40 minutes for a ICECREAM. what the hell.
Wish I could do NO STARS! Went through the drive thru to order lunch. After ordering burgers we wanted to order desserts and after asking about the cotton candy dip we hear the employee on the intercom say we had to come back for dessert because she didn't have time today! She has a lot of people to serve! We sat at the window a few minutes streaming mad, then left without food! 😡 Wouldn't go back even if it was free!
Doesn't close at 10, they close early. Would not recommend
So the girl up front really hates working here , agree with the comment that they need to be wearing gloves if they are going to be handling the ice cream, place was dirty and environment was unwelcoming. I asked for the specials and she looked at me like I was dumb, I love dairy Queen just not coming to this one. Also why does it look like there is a bullet hole in the window ??
They closed 15 minutes earlier than the closing time while people were in line
came all the way home 15 mins away to see my order was completely wrong after having repeated my order and corrected it to the guy at the window several times. he also had WAY too much attitude as i didn’t do a thing to him! the burger i ordered was the new bacon jam burger. i tried it yesterday at another location and it was so good i wanted to have it again but this store made is SO wrong and barely put any of the sauces on the burger at all!! also found a hair in my burger! disgusting. i’ve completely lost my appetite. i see from the reviews that i’m not the only one that’s experienced such a poor experience with this place. shut this place down!!!! NEVER will i visit this location again!!!!!
This location is supposed to be open until 10pm but it closes the dining room at 9:25 pm. No signage to indicate this. We ordered our food at 8:50pm an employee constantly complaining of being tired said “Just to let you know the dining room closes at 9:25”😳 after we paid for the food…every other Dairy Queen closes at 11pm on Fridays. A gentleman rode his bike to DQ and the Tired Employee told him the dining room closed at 9:30pm and he had already served his last customer. The Gentleman asked, So I can’t get a burger or anything? Tired employee shook his head no. The customer left unserved and then we left. We observed from our car the tired employee tell sitting customers enjoying ice cream that they had to leave this was around 9:40pm instead of just locking the door. If this is a franchise it’s making DQ look bad.
I ordered a triple paddy belt buster. The meat came out extra crispy like they were sitting there all day. I said something about it because the taste was bad too. They said they could make some more but it is a machine so nothing they could do. Didn’t seem like there was a manager onsite. We had been regulars here till now. Think I will mark this one off for good.
Poor service, had to wait almost 30 mins for our food and none of it was great. There was a gallon of milk just sitting on the counter the entire time too. Really not worth the time or money. I’d also like to add that looking back through years of poor reviews with the owner commenting that they are “listening” and they “understand” I don’t expect anything to change soon.
The number of times we have come up to this location and driven off....more than I can count on 1 hand. They are severely understaffed and I'll bet also underpaid. Dairy Queen Corporate, if you see this, come help this location out. They are struggling to the point of having a busted up old mayo jar on the window for tips. Do better, corporate.
Been here few months ago, poor service, poor customer service including the manager which the taller guy. Food isn’t good. The manager and couple other employees were standing there texting while people were waiting in line, and we waited for our order for an hour. They were not short staffed. They looked miserable and bitter and seemed like they hated people or anybody who walked in. They would whisper and gossip about customers who were there which boggles my mind. Like the customers weren’t even rude they were pretty patient. I don’t understand how they are in business, they are so unethical, rude, bitter, the food isn’t even good but their service is so poor. Waiting a long time for bad food and poor service and Hugh prices isn’t worth it. Why even work in a good industry where you have to deal with people if you hate it. Carrying such animosity towards majority of the customers but expect to have a business.
I pulled up at the drive thru on 2/1/26 at about 3pm. No cars in front of me. I sat there for about 10 mins and no one took my order. So I pulled to the window since cars were forming behind me. There were two female associates and both just ignored me. I just drove off and won’t go back. Service there is very hit and miss but to be ignored was just rude. DQ used to be a treat. Now it’s just rolling the dice to see what you get. Can’t recommend this place.
Literally no one inside and still took 25 minutes to get my meal. What in the world is going on Inside the restaurant when no one's in there eating? If i could give it a 0 star I would... not recommended!
Went to the drive thru and was literally ignored for over 10 mins.. every time I go it takes forever for them to come to the window but this time they looked at me and kept doing whatever they were doing.. smh
Food took 28 mins what the hell is goijg on here sorry excusses for workers are air pods were in 15 mins to get my drink and the young man was so disrespectful i asked him i meed to get to work he told me i cant refund And we are trying our best but he just walking around on his phone on ft with prolly his girl. I really hope they shut this one down. They dont keep this place up. You can go to Texas Road house eat a full meal and still this dairy queen wont even be half way done with your food. Who ever owns this dairy queen or runs it im sorry that you have a terrible restaurant. I would drive 1,000 miles to a different dairy queen then eat here.
Went by at 9:50 pm and was told the kitchen was closed. We said that was fine we wanted ice cream. They then turned the menu board off while we were ordering. Finally told cones only. Just very rude and we know it was close to closing but didn’t deserve that.
Waited almost an hour for them to tell us that the ice cream machine was broken and the lady who knows how to fix it was 20 minutes away and they didn’t know how to process a refund. Wasn’t going to wait so I’m out $14. Extremely annoyed, instead of making us wait and charging us they should’ve just said the machine was broken.
I will never order from this bum store again. No cleanliness. No gloves. Horrible attitudes. And they don’t even attempt to make the order rights. The atmosphere is a clear indication that no one cares from the top to the bottom. If you’re craving DQ I would recommend driving to a different town.
After spending 30 minutes in line at this DQ and having them repeat the order twice to assure that it was correct by the time I got it home it was wrong. Terrible service terrible waiting time through the window. I will never go back there again!
Waited in line at the drive through for an hour, got so upset I just got out and ordered in the store at that itself lead to more waiting, horrible experience will probably never come to this location again, employees were slow, acknowledging of their OBVIOUS issues/lack of training/attitudes. Moving at snails pace to make one cone and one blizzard. Hour and almost 30 minute wait is absolutely unforgivable and ridiculous .These employees clearly have ZERO idea what they are doing and need to be trained/retrained or SOMETHING.
On 4/19/2025 at around 4:30 I came with a group to have dinner.we have handicap plates. However the only handicap parking was taken by a truck that didn't have a blue handicap tag or plates. I went in the store to ask if it can be moved but no one responded. So I went back out and pulled back around and parked at a different place. After ordering I asked the cashier again if she knew who it belonged to. She then told me it belonged to the cook in the back. The lady then proceeded to tell me that they had already brought this up to the CEO's attention about moving th handicap spots because the place that their in makes it hard for people to get in and out. So because the handicap spots are in bad spots in the parking lot and people dont use them the employees park their cars there. If you're handicapped and really need the ramp DON'T come here. Lady at register was really nice for answering my questions though BUT I didn't appreciate them lying at first to cover a coworker. I was about to call the police and get the truck towed for that but I was really trying to get the CEO's info so we wouldn't take it there.
Place has gone to hell over the past year. Ordered today. Took 20 mins with 1 person in front of me. Sprite was flat with barely any ice. Burger was messed up. Fries were limp and barely salted. I'm not trying to sound like a big back but I'm on my way to work and need something to eat so I don't feel like kms for the rest of the day.
The guy was rushing but not listening to my order. I get to the window and he ask me my order again many times as he made the order. The banana split that I ordered had more toppings then ice cream. Very little icecream and looked like it had been setting for awhile. For a small Confetti dipped cone, banana split and a large drink (which was the wrong drink after asking at least 4 times at the window) was $15.65 which is way over priced according to the prices I saw. And this is the type service I get after waiting in the drive thru for 45 minutes.
Sloooow service. Must have made blizzard when i paid for it because when i received it along with the chicken finger basket 13mins later (!?!?!*#^@), only the top was still frozen and was only semi-frozen at that!! The entire bottom half was melted and the top half was softer than their actual softserve!! Unfortunately, we had gone thru the drivethru and had just been instructed to park out front and wait for undisclosed amount of time. So as we were driving off, we realized this, and after the 13minute wait we had already endured, we didnt want to wait another 10minutes just for them to redo the blizzard (that we paid $4 for!!!!) Once opening our chicken fingers styrofoam containers we were angered to find that there were 4 places burnt thru!!! With no drops or pieces of styrofoam in the bag, that meant that it was melted on the food!!! Who knows what item(s) actually caused it and at this point, i dont even care, because based on everything else, im sure it would have gotten me sick! On another tip, the employees were miserable sounding and looking (like as in they hated their jobs) and wore regular street clothes (one girl wore gym shorts that barely covered her butt), no hat, no gloves....so yeah...not going back...ever...would NOT recommend....EVER..
