Whomever is reading this, please please go check out the Pickled Carrot! Have been to the pickled carrot only once in person, but the customer service was amazing! It was a memorably kind interaction! The man that I presumed was the owner was helpful when navigating the menu, warm and inviting, along with having a great sense of humor. I have never been disappointed with a dish that I have received (I normally order through delivery apps) and I believe the portions to be very reasonably sized. The V-fries with their tofu is life changing, it’s been the only food item in Denton that I regularly crave! Today I tried the tofu noodle bowl and it was also wonderful. This might’ve been on accident, but I even received a second portion of the noodles which has made my whole day, probably even week! The flavor and freshness of their food is unmatched! They have a unique spin on Vietnamese cuisine while still keeping it simple and traditional. They care about their customers and put quality work into every dish that is made. The pricing is reasonably affordable especially for the quality that you are getting, its my occasional treat as a broke college student! I HIGHLY recommend the pickled carrot!

Got a Pork Banh Mi and Egg Rolls delivered and everything traveled well. The food was still fresh and crispy, it was all delicious. The banh mi could use some more cilantro, but that might be my personal preference. The eggs rolls were really good.

The pork banh mi is full of all the flavors a person could ask for. For a smaller appetite I would get their noodles. For a splurge get the Viet Fries.

Housed in a trailer, big things come in small packages at The Pickled Carrot. The Vietnamese food truck hasn't been on my wishlist long and I'm glad I didn't hesitate. A classic Vietnamese fare, I settled on the seasoned pork Banh-Mi, I could smell the savory pork when I walked up. The sandwich exceeded my expectations and didn't stick around long, I'm already looking forward to my next banh-mi 💯

As a former vegetarian, and current pescatarian, I've never had the opportunity to try a banh mi sandwich since they generally contain meat. We were near the square today for an Easter egg hunt and my wife suggested one of the food trucks at the event but I've been wanting to check out the Austin Street Truck Stop for a while so we headed there instead. It was a great decision as I was able to get a tofu banh mi sandwich and it was exceptional. I now understand why this sandwich is so popular and The Picked Carrot served me one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. I can't recommend them highly enough.

First time trying pickled carrot and I was not disappointed. My boyfriend and I got the egg rolls, Bahn mi, and noodle bowl split everything and we're still taking some leftovers! Great portions and delicious food! We will 100% be back!

I ordered a Bahn Mi sandwich with pork, and did not realize it had an aioli until after I took a bite. I have an egg allergy (thankfully not anaphylactic!), so I approached the truck and explained my mistake. I was willing to pay for another sandwich for my own mistake. The guy said it was no problem to make another one, AND they had a vegan garlic aioli as well that I could have. The sandwich was 10/10 perfection. I will definitely come back. Thank you so much for having vegan and allergy friendly options and kind enough to fix a customer’s mistake.

Quite good in taste although a bit on the expensive side w.r.t. the quantity. Would definitely recommend the Noodle bowl. The dishes would take 10-15mins on weekends and some more to find parking around this place. So, it would be a good idea to plan well.

My boyfriend got the chicken Banh Mi. Let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! I didn’t get a chance to get a picture because he ate it so fast. The only issue I had with this restaurant is that the sandwich is really small for how much you pay. After eating it he was still hungry so it didn’t leave him completely satisfied. With that being said, the sandwich is still good but the size portion could be better.

Usually always have great food from here, but I can’t recommend the noodles. From the portions, to the appearance vs the picture is very lacking. Review the picture on the menu vs what was served.

We only tried the Banh Mi. It was very average. They have all the ingredients to make a good Banh Mi, but something "special" just wasn't there. I would pass it up, there are other good food truck choices in that area.

Flavor is absolutely there but if you ever get the chance go to Southlake and eat at viet fast food Bahn Mi are way bigger and are $6 and a combo comes with two egg rolls for like a few more bucks. Not bad at all though

Had a bad first time experience, not sure if the food truck cancelled my order or the driver. But figured I’d try in person. Service is terrible. It gets worse when they realize you don’t tip them. Do yourself a favor, and go to Viet Bites. You’ll get a bigger banh mi, and better service.
