My wife and I ventured away from Hotel Clio and came to this cozy nook with so many tasty options for happy hour. Every single bite from the menu was flavourful, delicious, and authentic to the point where we wish we never left! Sliders, mussels, oysters, tacos: all spectacular! If you are in Cherry Creek or a visitor to Denver for that matter; this is definitely a must go to spot for a great time and quality food with exceptional service.

We sat at the bar and Kendyll took great care of us. My Caesar salad and grilled salmon was perfect and so delicious. My husband absolutely loved his New York and Massachusetts oysters with a Connecticut lobster roll. Our drinks were delicious, and we were very thankful that we walked in for a late lunch. We highly recommend this restaurant.

This was our 3rd time visiting- because it’s just that good. We have not been disappointed once coming here! The service is excellent- and the food, is absolutely incredible. We visited on National Oyster day, so we took advantage of their $1 oysters. They were really fresh, big and the brine was spectacular. I got the Mahi mahi and the fish was seasoned to perfection. My boyfriend got the lobster roll and he loved it! I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, the prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service you’ll receive. 🦞🦪💖✨

Been here a couple of times and never disappoints but tonight was by far the BEST meal I’ve ever had. Not even exaggerating.

I had the best experience here with my friends! We tried a variety of all different appetizers including peppers, calamari, dip, and of course we had to try the oysters. I enjoyed a beautifully served shrimp scampi for dinner I can't even name a favorite part of the night. The service, location, and flavors exceed expectations. Highly recommend this spot for date nights or an elevated seafood experience! 20/10 recommend!!!

I love visiting this restaurant; it's one of my favorites! It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth every penny. We always used to get the gnocchi, but unfortunately, they discontinued it. However, they still have amazing dishes! We tried the shrimp and ahi tuna tacos, along with the corn chowder, which is hands down the best I've ever had. We also enjoyed the clam Thai dish with some bread. Plus, they offer oysters for just 99 cents after 9 PM, so we indulged in a few of those as well!

Great food and atmosphere! The server was awesome and attentive. Jackson B. gave us free extra bread and when he delivered the wrong item, he gave it to use for free and brought the right item. Note: the happy hour menu prices are a little off. Just a dollar off. Ex: pineapple mule, menu: 9.50, charged 10.50, guavo Cosmo, menu: 10.50, charged 11.50.

First time coming to this spot and was their 10 years anniversary and everything on the menu was 40% off , it was the day that I had 25pcs oyster in a single day , everything was so fresh , tysm !

The beef sandwich was absolutely delicious! The bread was fresh and soft, while the beef was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. A simple dish done really well.

For over a decade, I have been a devoted patron of Blue Island Oyster Bar & Seafood since I relocated to this area. Although I cannot frequent this establishment as often as I would like, the culinary experience never fails to impress. From succulent oysters to luxurious caviar, every dish is a true delight. Moreover, the lobster salad is simply exceptional. However, what truly elevated my visit was the remarkable bartender from Romania. Despite not having a great day, his pleasant demeanor and exceptional service made all the difference. It is without a doubt that I will return to this haven of gastronomy many more times in the future.

We sat at the bar and the had great service. Came here for the oysters and they were big and juicy, had a second round of them! The trout dip was good and the curry mussels was amazing. The taco was good and only bad was that it was over stuffed but that worked since we split it! Bloody mary was good and never had an oyster in one! Great food and place.

One of my favorite restaurants. Truthfully I love both locations and their sister restaurant. Amazing to get awesome oysters right here in CO. Literally crave this place. Everything is delicious! Chowder, calamari, togarashi fries, fish, posters, caviar, salads, pasta, sandwiches, sushi... I think I've had most everything on the menu. Not too mention the truffle martini!!! 😍 I was really sad when they got rid of the rewards program, but I'll survive.

The 99 cent oysters on Fridays and Saturdays cannot be beat. There's been a different kind on special everytime I've come, but they are always, always among the best I've had. Even compared to restaurants on the coast. And don't sleep on the clam chowder or shrimp cocktail either. Come for the oysters and take a pint/quart of the chowder home for later. You won't be disappointed.

Brian was our server, he was very very good. Oysters were amazing and on a Monday special. Drinks and other food were so awesome too. Will definitely come back!!

Delicious seafood place. They have really good refreshing cocktails! I had the lobster roll. It was good, but I would have liked a little more flavor. The claim chowder was my favorite! They have seating inside and out. We went for lunch so it wasn't too crowded but if you go for dinner I suggest making a reservation. I will be returning to try more!

We had some yummy dishes off the happy hour! The Curry Cauliflower was amazing! Great flavors. Sounds silly but you'll need to ask for a spoon, not sure why they don't serve it with one because you'll want the sauce! Our waiter John was decent but Brent or Bret (I'm sorry I can't remember which one it was) went above and beyond for us. He gave us ever thing we needed and even told us how we could make our experience better for the next time we came! We ordered some shared dishes, lobster roll and the salmon salad. Apparently they will split the meals for you! So just ask! The atmosphere was great, super chill with a killer soundtrack playing!

Blue Island Oyster Bar & Seafood in Cherry Creek District. Appetizers ordered: Ricotta Gnocchi Truffle Mornay, Parmesan, Chives Thai Curry Mussels Yellow Coconut Curry, Cilantro, Ciabatta Bread Grilled Spanish Octopus Chorizo Vinaigrette, Crispy Potato Entrees ordered, Fried Jumbo Wild Gulf Shrimp Served with House Made Slaw, Fresh Dill Tartar Sauce Ahi Tuna Taco Wasabi Slaw, Ponzu Clam Chowder Soup Review, The place has an upscale feel and was not too busy for a Saturday. Plenty of staff but that being said service was just ok. Appetizers were good. The Octopus was probably the most disappointing. The presentation was odd but the mix of potatoes just did not work. The Gnocchi was quite good... denser than I preferred but the cheese flavoring was excellent. The Thai Mussels were excellent. If you go just for that it's a win. The clam chowder was great, shrimps were good but the breading they used was a little off. I would have preferred more of a panko type breading but that's me. The tacos were good. Over all I left there full but at 65.00 roughly per person for lunch not sure if it lived up to the hype.

Great food and drinks, Noah our server was very attentive and explained the specials and answered the questions we had. Great for special occasions.

Insane prices for very low-quality food. I know that lobster Mac is a more "simple" dish, but that should mean that it's that much easier to do well. Nearly $40 for a small portion and legitimately gross food was a huge disappointment. I invite you to compare that picture to the one this restaurant advertises. And recall that is was close to $40 for this.
