5 stars experience! The food fresh and delicious. The best part was the dessert!!! OMG!!! The Tiramisu!!!! I love the idea in the parking lot to create outside space and make it look nice to sit there. Service was pretty good as well, very friendly staff who make your experience the best it can be!! Love it
Awesome experience every time we come here. The rigatoni bolognese is absolutely delicious, it's so flavorful. Portions are the perfect size and the wine selection is awesome too. The prices are affordable as well and absolutely worth every penny.
Warm atmosphere the Italian way! Excellent service and good authentic food! You must eat here! I did not take any Pics of the food, because I eat it all before thinking of it!
Friendly staff, satisfying food and a relaxed atmosphere. It's easy to stop in any time (they have a solid happy hour menu) and enjoy your meal without feeling like people are on top of you. They have valet available if you aren't lucky enough with finding street parking in CCN.
Loved this place. Great service, great food. Had a phenomenal salad. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Excellent food and drinks. Lighting is dim so more of an elegant atmosphere.
Why more places dont have the kids make their own pie I will never know. Perfect! Our food was amazing. And I am still feeling bad for not tipping enough. I accidentally tipped for the credit card not full bill. I hope our server will forgive me. I will over tip the next time.
Excellent food. Parking can be a bit squirmy with all the Cherry Creek construction. They do have their own lot. However, it gets pretty full. Service is top notch. We'll be back!
Exquisite Italian food! Our server Jesse was great and had no problem handling our rather rambunctious group of 17. He made sure our glasses were always full and had some great recommendation for the table. The food was also delicious and I would definitely suggest getting the goat cheese for a starter.
My husband and I just got back from Italy and so we were in search of an Italian restaurant that lived up to our real experience and Piatti definitely did just that. Amazing food (try the lemon poppyseed dessert), amazing service (Brenda was the best!!), and just overall an amazing experience. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to come back.
happy hour here is the best. its sad cause whenever i state a happy hour is the best they change it. so heres to hoping nothing here changes. I do enjoy how it is only at the bar cause it adds a different touch. it helps bartenders get good tips and make service faster for the short happy hour periods. overall the food was amazing and being able to try all of the small dishses for low prices was perfection.
The food was amazing and we had great service. All 3 of us loved our meals. I had a Rigatoni recipe that was 25 years old. (Or so I was told 😊) We are definitely going back!
We love this place and came tonight for our anniversary dinner. We had some concerns with our server but the manager Susan came over to our table and allowed us to express this and handled the situation in a matter that was over the top. We would have come back either way bc it’s a fave spot of ours but will make even more of a point because of Susan! Thank you!
Excellent 5-Star Restaurant! The best restaurant in Cherry Creek, Denver. Consistently great Italian cuisine and fine wines. Great wait staff and bartender professionals who serve with cheer.
Went for Sunday dinner last evening, and it was very good. The atmosphere is warm &classy. The service was excellent, and they have a pretty long list of wines. Will definitely come back soon.
I had a wonderful evening dining at Piatti. The service and food were both amazing! Our server Wendy was the best! She helped me find a wine that would pair well with dinner and she helped us pick out a great dessert. I only tried a couple of items on the menu but if everything tasted as good as what we tried, I would recommend everything on the menu. The restaurant was very classy and would be great for an intimate dinner or even a classy family dinner. We didn't have to wait for a table and didn't need to make a reservation. All around wonderful evening and I will come back again especially to see Wendy again!
Have had several really wonderful family dinners here this past year. The chef is amazing. (Our most recent dinner was Christmas Eve and everything we ordered was out-of-this world delicious.) The wait staff is also top-notch, attentive and efficient. The ambience is lovely. You cannot go wrong at Piatti's. Last week was the first time we went to this place. But It is no doubt not the last. We had a good time with the attentive service, with the finest dishes and booze and with the honest charge. We will absolutely return there again.
I've went to Piatti since I was a small child. Going there with my family at the bar was a newer experience for me and it was very nice. The food is always incredible. Josh was so attentive and did a fantastic job waiting on us. I had a very nice time going out in cherry creek for once because they were not packed and treated us all nicely.
I have been here three times recently, and I just keep coming back. The food is excellent, and I love the ambience. Last night (Friday) we go there around 7, and it was kind of an older crowd, but by the time we left, things had gotten a lot more lively. The restaurant, bar area, and patio were full but not overcrowded. This place feels warm and friendly, like the family-owned restaurant it is. I love the decor too.
Wow what a great place! Reviewing as we finish a phenomenal meal over affagatos!!! Had the Pork Chop! Superb flavors from the grill. You will not be disappointed. Service was great staff is so friendly & attentive! You MUST make a reservation on the weekend!! Patio seating is romantic & inside in quaint & comfortable. Bar already full! Valet parking! Good prices! Great ambiance! 2 or 20 your party is welcomed here!! Check out the menu online before your arrived it tastes as good as it sounds!
I love love love the staff. The manager Susan is ABSOLUTELY amazing and takes the time to greet the guest. Her Employees seem to be happy too! If you are there for lunch- You must try the Grilled Cheese. The best I've ever had! No complaints from me!

Delicious take out experience! Food was among best Italian food I’ve ever had! Service was friendly, quick and had no issues ordering with Uber Eats. The restaurant seemed very nice and clean though I didn’t stay for long. Good choice of vegetarian options which I highly appreciate. Parking lot was a bit small, so maybe bring some quarters for street parking if you go at a busier time. Would definitely recommend!
We recently held a 70th Birthday party for my mom in the private room and Olivia was amazing to work with on the details for this fun celebration! We received so many compliments that night. The food and the service was excellent. Also people loved the intimacy of the room. Special kudos to Marissa and how well she worked with us and the level of the service she provided. The cutting of the cake was great and we had a wonderful/memorable evening. I know that our friends who have not been to Piatti for a while are planning to come back for dinner. We also appreciate everything Olivia did to make the process easy for us and we were as close as you can get to our budget. We will be back soon! Thank you to everyone at Piatti for knocking it out of the park!
Just had a birthday dinner there with my family and everyone loved it! Our server, Wendy, was fantastic and hilarious! Never been there before, but the menu and wine list was great and server recommendations were spot on. Definitely want to go back again for my next Italian fix. The bolognese dish with meatballs is ridiculously good, but I warn you, the meatballs are way bigger than you think.
The entire dining experience was wonderful. We were seated immediately and after being shown a table we preferred a different table closer to the fireplace and was willingly shown to that table. When we ordered our meals, I requested wine recommendations and our server, Jesse, provided a very unique selection process - a blind taste test of the wines we discussed. This was a very effective pairing for me. The bread was delicious, Caesar salad was good and our meals absolutely scrumptious. If there was a criticism, it would be want for a less stressful parking situation, but that is a Cherry Creek issue.
Piatti offers a good variety of authentic Italian favorites. The eggplant is absolute perfection!! The portions are spot on for upscale, healthy fresh eaters. Tasteful selection of excellent vino, and complete bar service. Very clean from the patio, dining room and restrooms. Ambiance is fabulous, service staff are knowledgeable and efficient. A Cherry Creek must, enjoy!
Fabulous atmosphere. High-end. Families and children friendly. Kids get to make their own pizza, literally. I enjoyed the field green salad with salmon piece. Yummy. We will be back again. This is a favorite of ours.
Love this place. We came for my birthday a few years back, and then restumbled upon this place looking for shelter during a sudden storm during the Cherry Creek Arts festival. Food is outstanding, our waiter was super professional and did I mention the food? We purchased their bread dipper to take home. We would’ve purchased their sauce if it were for sale.
Great lunch spot in Cherry Creek. Lovely Italian food. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the lemon cake was delicious. Didn't get a cocktail this time but will be coming back for dinner sometime soon.
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful evening at Piatti! The food was excellent and we had great service. Where we sat, we were near the kitchen, so it got a little loud. Otherwise, we loved it and would definitely return.
Amazing Italian food! Excellent, top notch service! Sadly, they will be closing permanently on December 31. You can only make reservations on Open Door, but you can walk in. Check the website as they will not be restocking food supplies and the menu will be limited the closer they get to Dec.31st. Hope you can try it one last time!
We had New Years Eve dinner here and it was delicious. Great service, excellent wine list, and delicious food. I recommend ordering several things and sharing so you can taste a variety of dishes! Must have the chocolate cake dessert.
We came to grab a quick drink and appetizer at the bar. The goat cheese app was delicious. And as always their bread and dipping oil is not to be missed. Good drinks and service as well. Will be back for dinner.
ok meal in old school Denver restaurant. food was good but not great. service was friendly if not a tad slow. I used to come here often, probably haven't been in 10 years, to me , there are a bunch of other places with superior food and service .
It is a very good restaurant. Been in Cherry Creek for a long time. Kept its standards. Parking is a bit complex but if u use the valet they ll figure out how to stack the vehicles. I love their sea food stew. It is definitely recommended.
Amazing pasta dishes. The salmon was also fabulous. Some of the best pasta I've ever had and given the price, it was out of this world. The ambiance was wonderful. The service was top notch. Our waitress gave fantastic recommendations and I was given my dessert on the house for my birthday.
Nice atmosphere here with the converted outdoor patio. But we ordered chicken for my salad and they charged $12 for about a third of a piece of dry flavorless chicken. So my very bad tasting spinach salad cost $25... crazy! My husband’s ravioli was good.
Got calamari, meatballs, and Cesar salad for apps. Then the lemon ravioli, pizza, and oysters. Service was actually pretty good. But the food wasn't up to the standard I thought it should be. Calamari didn't taste right. The best thing we had was the lemon ravioli, which was great. The drinks we had were also good, healthy portions.
Ive been before about 6 years ago. Was really nice then, great place for a celebration dinner or date. Recently, dined here again and was disappointed. My veal saltimbocca was flavorless, the bread was bland, and the wine selection was dull. While the meal wasn't terrible - I would dine here again - the price doesn't justify it. Without attempting to be too harsh, it's an upscale, pricey Olive Garden.
Food was pretty good, pretty reliable...not as good as I've had in the past. Where they lost me was wine and service. The wine was great, as expected with a $90 and $120 bottles (was the wrong year, but can live with that, need to update menu), but was disappointed that all the wine was served in about the cheapest wine glass I have seen, small, chipped bottoms, poor quality.
With all the wonderful reviews I expected more. The wine list was okay for a Italian restaurant. But the service was so slow and there weren't a lot of us there. The food was just standard, and too spicy or used way too much garlic. I ordered the spaghetti and meat sauce as well as the sorbet. Sorbet was more of an ice slush treat and again the sauce was too spicy to really enjoy. Honestly the best part of this was the car service. If not for that I would have rated it a two star.
I want to first of all say that the staff is amazing here and always has been. My review is based on the portion sizes since Covid occurred. We have been here three times since the pandemic occurred, dine in and to go and the portion sizes have become very small. The rigatoni bolognese is about 6 bites if that and my husband has resulted in ordering two portions ($40) just to feel somewhat full. This last time I ordered the roasted chicken ($20) and was very disappointed. The single very small breast on top of the unappealing bed of greens was not what I was expecting for the price and reputation of the restaurant. I hate to compare to fast food but it looked like a McDonald's chicken salad. The bread that they now charge for was the only appropriate sized item. Uncertain we will return if this stays the same.
Slow service, overpriced. food was pretty oily. waitress did not check in the entire meal to see how it was going or if we needed any refills. food was decent but i’ve had better. would likely not come back. on the plus side, the server had very good knowledge of ingredients which was helpful for vegan and allergies. (eg papardelle made with shrimp butter)
Disappointed After much fanfare and recommendations, a friend and visited for dinner last week 1. Service - very attentive 2. Menu - very standard Italian 3. Price - what I expect from Cherry Creek 4. Food - I need to break this into 2 categories Bread and Oil - addictive and succulent. I was impressed Meal - clean and effective presentation with a portion size that matches price. But the only way I can describe the overall taste is “old people food” there was no flavor, the plate was not diverse in color and of course there are no official sides on the plate. For a quality restaurant in cherry creek I would expect a little more flavor and enjoyment from an establishment of this caliber. Will not go back.
Honestly this place is over rated. We were expecting an incredible meal based on the reviews. We really didn't hate the food but it wasn't anything special at all. We left kind of feeling like we spent way to much for the quality of food and service... Right next door is an amazing steakhouse del Frisco's. They are worth every penny!
We've been to Piatti's twice now. The first time, the greeter was quite short and rude. The food was not great either. But we really want to like it, so we decided to give it a try again. This time the same person was even ruder! She was short and bossy... so much so we actually just walked out and left. We rarely complain (and are from NY so we know rude!), but this was not acceptable. It's one thing if the food was good...but it wasn't... you can do much better elsewhere in CC! And the place is in dire need of a makeover, a little old and stale.
Terrible food... Really nothing on the menu sounded exciting, ordered the bolognese - terrible. Dinner guest order calms - it is worse. Definitely a place to avoid. Can't say anything about the pizza, maybe this is a pizza restaurant because the dinner meals are truly disgusting. Oh, and the picture of the bolognese shown in review area - you can expect a plate roughly 1/3 of that size. Be thankful however - it's terrible and no one wants to take any home. You may not finish the 1/3 size portion they serve you anyway.
Yummy!! Edit: I took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner last night. The elderly woman behind the bar was rude and intrusive. Linguini and clams were a big disappointment. Ended up having the pork which was delicious. Overall experience was mediocre for the price 🤷🏾♀️
The bread and oil ended up being the best part of the meal...and you have to pay for it. My boyfriend and I had high hopes for this due to the great reviews but were VERY let down. I ordered the clam linguine and he ordered a cheese pizza. The linguine had fettuccine noodles and was extremely salty. The clams were very small and gritty. The pizza was extremely dry and was salty as well. Overall it was not a good experience and I will never be returning.
