Sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita da questo ristorante! Ogni piatto è stato una vera scoperta, le porzioni abbondanti e giusto rapporto qualità prezzo. Un posto in cui tornerò sicuramente e che consiglio.

Ho messo 4 stelle solo perché per ora ho fatto asporto. Ho preso il plateau royale e un metodo classico rosé..Tutto ottimo. A livello di bistrot francesi. Pesce crudo e frutti di mare di altissima qualità. Solo un piccolo appunto: nel plateau mancano le conchiglie (vongole, cozze, noci ecc) ma compensano con gamberi e scampi top. Sorpresa

I had a wonderful dinner at Ristorante Renato on a slightly stormy evening. After arriving via taxi, we had a dinner of an assortment of seafood, seafood pasta, seabass, fried prawns, wine, and a slice of chocolate pie. Following dinner we attempted to hail a cab through multiple apps to no avail and returned to the restaurant, where they kindly offered to call a taxi themselves. Unfortunately, Desenzano has a distinct lack of available taxis to which the proprietor and chef Marco offered us his time to drive us to our lodgings. I can only say that this is exemplary of the restaurant's character and quality in which I can only recommend.

Food and price is the best comparing with the food in Desenzano del Garda town centre. The best quality food and price. Everything is tasty from meat to fish and seafood. I love seafood.

Had a lovely meal with my family in this amazing restaurant. Food was cooked in perfection, the tiramisu was such a treat. Can't fault the service of staffs that were all attentive and friendly. Made our visit to this lovely town special. We had starter to share, 3 main courses desserts and coffee for less than 120€ (3people) good value for money! Highly recommend not to miss coming to this restaurant.

Oggi a pranzo. Avevo sentito parlare di questo riatorante. Premetto che sono un po' esigente e quindi il mio giudizio è un po' viziato. Appena entrati accolti da una gentile ed elegante ragazza che ci ha fatto accomodare, in due, in un tavolino ben curato innuna zona tranquilla e isolata dall'esterno. Abbiamo preso una grigliata di pesce di mare, un'antipastondi pesce di mare, delle patate con scorza, un polipo croccante ed uno spaghetto gamberi, burrata e caviale. Una bottiglia di Riesling della modella (Fischer). Lo spaghetto che ho mangiato mi ha fatto semplicemente godere. Una mantecatura con la burrata ed la crudità del pesce con una piccola,a giusta, porzione di caviale è uno dei piatti più bilanciati che abbia avuto l'occasione di assaporare. Il polipo non aveva neanche il profumo dell'olio, la base su cui era adagiato era il supporto (senza sale giustamente) ideale leggermente amarognolo ma fantastico . Altri dettagli sulle foto. Ci ritornerò a breve, solo per assaggiare le cruditè, e aprire qualche boccia di champagne, grande fornitura devo dirlo. Ho apprezzato tanto questo pranzo, anche il sorriso delle persone che ci hanno ringraziato e che ci hanno servito. Il locale è medio/grande ma io non ho avvertito nè caos ne rumore avvantaggiato forse perché eravamo nella veranda all'entrata. Prezzo super onesto, mi aspettavo di più per la qualità. I cannot complain on the food in this restaurant: plenty of options to choose from and all of them tasted great. Waiting times weren't very long either, and the chef gave me a completely new perspective on stockfish. The atmosphere could be cosier (the walls needed a bit more decoration, in my opinion) but the food isn't the issue here.

600 mt dal centro. Un ristorante che offre cucina semplice con paitti di terra e mare, pesce e anche pizza. I prezzi sono più bassi della media DI Desenzano forse perché ci si scosta un po' dal centro affollato. La location è molto carina, appena si entra un enorme frigo ospita vini di qualita di diversi tipi e di tutte le taglie. La stanza principale presenta tanti tavolini da 2-4-6 posti. Il forno delle pizze si può vedere sedendo in questa zona. C'è un enorme televisore che trasmette le pietanze e foto degli impiattamenti così ci si può fare un'idea di ciò che si vuol ordinare. Si sa l'occhio vuole la sua parte. Comunque le lucine che pendono verso il basso, appese al lampadario sono l'unica cosa che stona in tutti l'ambiente. Le trovo proprio fuori luogo, visto che l ambiente è decorato da bottiglie di vino vuote di buona etichetta e utensili che fanno un buon contorno al tutto. Avremmo voluto provare un risotto a testa dal menù alcuni erano ordinabili in singolo, ma poi al momento dell'ordine ci han ribadito che i risotti erano solo per due. Allora specificatelo bene perché solo alcuni avevano la specifica a fianco. Comunque sia io ho scelto una tagliata che mi è arrivata fredda. I miei compagni hanno ordinato delle piazze e hanno detto che l'impasto era molto buono. A coppia circa 30 euro compreso coperto e 1 litro di acqua naturale e caffè. Prezzo buono.

The service staff does not understand English well. We order pasta and a medium-cooked steak - the pasta was delicious, but the steak was so raw in some places that it was impossible to digest the pieces.

A mixed experience… The oysters were nice and fresh. The Garda Lake appetizer wasn’t what I expected. Instead of a mix of fish in sauce they offered a few varieties of local minced fish (like a fish salad basically) on top of polenta, plus smoked trout which was the best part. Then we had the black risotto with burrata and shrimp, even some gold flakes to top it off. The presentation was beautiful but, aside from having very little shrimp or burrata, the rice was salty to the point of being literally inedible. Apparently it wasn’t cooked by the main chef and, due to additional complaints from other guests, I wasn’t charged for it, which was fair. The octopus main dish was fine. Overall, nice atmosphere but the food was very far from impressive, especially given the abundance of amazing restaurants around.

Esperienza davvero pessima sotto ogni punto di vista. Abbiamo ordinato in quattro due menù degustazione da 45€ a persona, uno di pesce e uno di carne, aspettandoci una proposta coerente con quanto indicato nel menù. Purtroppo la realtà è stata completamente diversa. Il piatto degustazione di pesce per due persone (90€) è arrivato come un enorme piatto scenografico riempito quasi solo di frutta e verdura crude (persino cavolfiore crudo), evidentemente usate per fare volume. Il pesce era praticamente inesistente: due gamberi, mezzo astice, un piccolo pezzo di polpo e qualche cozza a testa.In sostanza 90€ per un piatto quasi vuoto, con più contorno crudo che pesce. Anche il menù degustazione di carne è stato deludente. Nel menù era indicato chiaramente un percorso con tagliere di salumi e gnocco fritto come antipasto e circa 1 kg di fiorentina a persona. Alla fine ci è arrivata una sola fiorentina da circa 1,1 kg in totale da dividere in due, quindi esattamente la metà rispetto a quanto indicato. Quando si propongono menù degustazione a questi prezzi, ci si aspetta almeno coerenza tra ciò che viene descritto e ciò che arriva al tavolo. Tra quantità ridotte, piatti riempiti con contorni poco sensati e discrepanze evidenti con il menù, l’impressione è stata semplicemente quella di pagare tanto per ricevere molto poco. Sinceramente una delle peggiori esperienze qualità-prezzo che ci sia capitata.

Posto carino , il cibo mediocre nulla di speciale . Il personale molto scortese , trattano male tutti i clienti, e si comportano come se il ristorante fosse di loro , non è razzismo ma le cose giuste vanno dette , comportatevi bene e rispettate le regole che ci sono nel nostro paese . Uno va a pranzo o a cena per rilassarsi , non per farsi attaccare dal cameriere . Sono ben 2 volte che vado con amici e parenti ed hanno riconfermato la loro pochezza. Mi dispiace ma per loro non verrò mai più.

For lunch I got tuna salad that was made with peas, corn, olives and beans and very little tuna ALL FROM A CAN. NOTHING FRESH OR COOKED. As I refused to eat food from a can they offered another dish, meatballs with potatoes. The potatoes were edible but the meatballs were charged on the outside and raw inside. There was a middle aged woman who served me and was very angry with me that I didn't like the food. It was very hot out so I ordered a bottle of cold sparkling water and she brought me a bottle of warm plain water. Then a gentleman came to try to fix my complaints and he was nicer. JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!!!! I KEPT THE RECEIPT JUST IN CASE I WOULD GET SICK
