The food is good it's the customer service, I just ordered fries and the cashier tries to give me fries that was sitting there longer then me. I had to instruct them to drop fresh fries but other than that the food was great and I had seconds..

I don't know if this is the theme with all Popeye's in the city, but skimpy serving sizes and they forgot half of the items in my order that I had to go back for. There was barely any shrimp a the fries very small portions. , it was mostly breading, and the container for the shrimp was only 1/4 full. The biscuits weren't too dry though and the fries, while overly greasy, had good flavor. The stuff was not friendly and helpful. .

Food - Not bad. The chicken was crispy and juicy. I ordered spicy but barely detected any spice, I wish they had spicier options! The rice and beans were awful, it looked nothing like the picture but looked and tasted like slop. Please do not get this! The fries were like classic Popeye's fries, no complaints. Same with the biscuit. Service - It's alright. They took a long time with my order, despite me ordering things at a similar time and type of my friends.. so it took forever for us to get out of there. Also, they didn't give me napkins besides me requesting them in the order. If you're going to forget something that important, just leave it out on the counter. Atmosphere - They have a TV playing some random show which is overdo in my opinion. I've never seen a fast food place do this. It's nice entertainment I guess, but I just don't think it's needed. Having to talk over a loud TV is not ideal. Also, there isn't much seating so beware!! It's a pretty small place. And a homeless man came in to harass us. I don't expect the workers to do much because let's be real, they do not get paid enough, but if possible I'd suggest going to another location.

I managed to order food just as they were shutting, so the server gave me a couple of extra pieces of chicken, as I presume they would have been put to waste otherwise. Unfortunately there was no seating allowed as they were shutting. The chicken was perfectly crispy. The chips weren't as good as the chicken, but good enough for a takeaway. Great location and easy to find on Flatbush avenue.

So the food was overall fresh , but biscuits were dryyyyy, they didnt put butter on the top. And the buiscuits were a bit undercooked. Idk just tasted like water. However at 7pm on December 23 2024 . (Location downtown brooklyn flatbush ave next to the nathans thats closed down. The employees told me this is how they are supposed to fill up the rice and beans! This is literally half !!!! They gave me another one which was STILP half way full. POPEYES MANAGEMENT EXPLAIN THIS NONSENSE. All the workers seemed like they are rushing. Didnt even give me spoon or napkin. Oh they told me they have no jelly for the buiscuit. If u dont like your job managment needs to fire them or they need to quit. Popeyes is not cheap. I expect my food fresh and at lease JELLY utensils and napkins! Rediculous. Are these employees NOT trained to provide proper hospitality?????

Didn’t have two of the three things that I wanted I ordered online so I had to compensate with items. I did not want they didn’t even have sauce. And when I try to ask for a simple mac & cheese, they told me I would be up charged even though they didn’t have the items that I wanted. Food was cold and oily barely any chicken on the racks overall bad experience.
