Our experience at the Relais de la Grandze was excellent. Situated in a beautiful location at about 1100 meters, you can enjoy views of the snow-capped mountains. The room, furnished in the Aosta Valley style, is cozy and tasteful. The hosts are very helpful and punctual, giving you the time to enjoy the place. The breakfast is excellent and generous, catering to both savory and sweet tastes, with high-quality local products. The highlight is the sauna and hot tub. We happily admired the first full moon of the year.

We spent two nights in this charming, family-run hotel. Our room was on the top floor of two floors, comfortable and rustic—my little cat was very comfortable there! Beautiful bathroom and magnificent view of the Italian mountains. A varied breakfast and a super nice, attentive staff. I will recommend this hotel to my family if they visit Doues. I look forward to returning.

An absolutely perfect stay. The place has incredible charm. Clean, tastefully decorated in a traditional style. The staff is extremely kind, flexible, and attentive. Pool and spa available. Yoga and Pilates classes offered. The restaurant is delicious and the breakfast buffet is superb!

The experience at the property, spa, and dinner, was truly wonderful. We were welcomed by the very kind owners and had access to the spa, which features a hot tub, sauna, Turkish bath, and a bathroom. The space, decorated in wood and stone, is truly beautiful and peaceful. The dinner that followed was delicious: we started with an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, moved on to an exceptional sliced ​​steak, and finished with delicious desserts. The price we paid for the experience was equally reasonable. Given the experience, we promise to return for a moment of peace and pampering.

We spent the weekend here and I have to compliment the staff for their professionalism and helpfulness. Upon arrival, we were shown to our room and shown the restaurant. First of all, I'd like to highlight the hospitality of the owners and staff, who are always kind and helpful. The property is surrounded by nature in a small, quiet village, just a short distance from Aosta. A bus stops in front of the Relais. Easy and more challenging trails are available (over 2,000 meters above sea level). The spacious room is tastefully furnished, with a balcony offering magnificent mountain views and a large bathroom. All the interior spaces are very spacious, also suitable for celebrating various celebrations. The breakfast served at the table is very varied, plentiful, and made with quality products. The restaurant's cuisine easily adapted to my vegetarian diet, featuring excellent local products. The spa is pleasant and relaxing, overlooking the mountains. Everything is immaculately clean and well-maintained. I will gladly return to relax and recharge my batteries.

A magnificent hotel located in a charming, authentic village, a must-see if you're looking for a peaceful stay near Aosta with views of the surrounding mountains. The owners and staff offer a warm welcome, the rooms are lovely, and the cuisine is authentic and homemade. Plus, there's a spa! I highly recommend it.

Guesthouse in Doues, in the hamlet of La Cretaz, approximately 1,100 meters above sea level. The property is in good condition, well-maintained, clean, and has a very rustic and welcoming style. There's convenient parking nearby, and it's in a convenient and scenic location for walks. The food is good, with a decent selection of local dishes; breakfast, however, is a more standard buffet. The staff is friendly, although perhaps they could use a little more empathy and hospitality; I personally found it a bit cold. There's a small spa on site, offering both relaxation and an exclusive option, available upon reservation. The only flaw is the lack of soundproofing. Unfortunately, in the suite, you can hear every noise from the next room, which isn't ideal, given the price. Overall, a nice place to spend a few relaxing days.

Noi rimaniamo sempre soddisfatti di questo piccolo relais. Le camere in tipico stile valdostano sono molto curate e pulitissime. Offre una piccola zona spa esclusiva su prenotazione e la piscina estiva all'aperto. Il ristorante offre anche la pizza molto leggera e buona. Il bar è luogo di ritrovo dei locals, che rendono ancora più speciale questo piccolo angolo di valpelline. I cani sono i benvenuti!

Siamo venuti a cena qui diverse volte e non siamo mai stati delusi. Non posso giudicare Spa e hotel perché non li abbiamo provati. Il ristorante è in centro a Doues ed è molto bello. La cucina è tipica valdostana. Il cibo è ottimo ed abbondante. Ha un ottimo rapporto qualità - prezzo. Quando torneremo a Doues sicuramente torneremo a cena qui.

Mi ero recato varie volte in questa Relais con le vecchie gestioni trovando camere ottime, colazioni, pranzi e cene tipiche della regione gustose ed abbondanti e così di recarmi anche stavolta presso d’essa però sono rimasto un po’ deluso, l’unica cosa invariata sono le camere forse con qualche problema di vetusta ma apprezzabili, per il resto qualche problema. Ma essendo nuova la gestione valutiamo i punti che possono essere migliorati. Nelle stanze aggiungerei un set cortesia bagno ,oltre le normali saponette esempio monodosi di shampoo o doccia schiuma si che ormai il cliente porta i suoi ,ma questa resta una dimostrazione d'accoglienza verso di esso.. La colazione è più o meno alla stregua delle precedenti gestioni. Veniamo alla cena, visto che non abbiamo pranzato, menù con pochi piatti e tutti legati a tendenze culinarie che non sempre possono soddisfare il cliente, che magari, non essendo del posto, prediligerebbe gustare piatti tipici della tradizione sia locale che italiana. Il mio consiglio quindi è quello di sostituire qualche piatto con altri più terra terra. Troppa ricerca di piatti particolari certa volta non accontenta né il palato né la vista e può non piacere. Altra cosa da verificare è il comportamento dello staff alla cena, addetto alla sala che non dovrebbe origliare i commenti fatti sul cibo per andarli a riportare al cuoco. Scrivo così perché è quello che è successo a noi con il cuoco che è uscito dalla cucina è venuto in sala chiedendo quali problemi avessimo riscontrato. Quando noi rispondemmo che non avevamo avanzato nessuna critica espressamente all’addetto sala e che quindi quella era stata una palese violazione della nostra privacy, si trovò perso, per poi inalberarsi in seguito, quando gli vennero spiegati i motivi del perché erano state avanzate quelle perplessità, rispondendo che quelle era rivisitazioni di uno chef Pinco pallinò doppia stella Michelin e lasciando chiaramente intendere che noi eravamo incompetenti. Ma sto signore non conosce una delle basilari regole di servizio che cita testualmente “il cliente ha sempre ragione “la priorità di un ristoratore o di un commerciante deve essere comunque la soddisfazione generale dei clienti! Un cliente soddisfatto è un cliente che tornerà da te e, soprattutto, che consiglierà il tuo locale al proprio giro di conoscenze. Senza clienti, cosa saresti? Egli doveva ascoltare, rimanere calmo e professionale e dare al problema il tempo che merita e la sua risposta poteva essere proposta in modo diverso tipo “sono dispiaciuto che non le sia piaciuto ma sa questa è una rivisitazione fatta …ecc. ecc.” A sua difesa debbo aggiungere altresì che la sera seguente si dimostrò abbastanza disponibile nei nostri confronti accettando le nostre richieste. Queste sono i miei suggerimenti peculiari, a mia visione, da mettere in atto per un prosperoso avvenire. Quindi punteggio ne buono ne cattivo da rivalutare in seguito.

Struttura ben posizionata e accogliente con possibilità di parcheggio. Nell' area esterna e presente anche un area giochi per bimbi e una piscina con ingresso a pagamento.... 10 euro mi sembrano onerosi per la dimensione a mio avviso.un 7 euro sarebbe più giusto Abbiamo pranzato una domenica in una 15 di persone con bambini. Antipasti a buffet ben presentati e un po' diversi dal solito ...ma il bis di primi una delusione TOTALE. Taglierino limone e jambon anche giusto di cottura ma al palato rimaneva slegato completamente dal condimento..peccato perché era anche ricco di prosciutto Ma ahimè il peggio e stato il risotto dopo...dire crudo non rende l' idea ma può andare a gusti e vabbè..ma era in brodo mantecato niente e rimaneva slavato ancora di più del taglierino. Spero che chi paga alla carta abbia un trattamento più elegante e il cibo più curato il che giustifica i prezzi. Rimane il fatto che 30 euro a testa con vino alla spina e un digestivo alla fine e un po' eccessivo. Servizio un po' confusionario e da rivedere. Le camere non posso giudicare. La struttura all interno e comunque molto bella.

Very negative experience. Very unfriendly waiters and staff. We went several times to eat, the way they treated us. It seemed like it was free. They put the food on the table angrily. Everything was frozen, very high prices. We stayed only to write a nice review like this. The owner, oh responsible, didn't care at all... We had lasagna, it was dry. It seemed like Lidel. The sausage service was dry and very small. The restaurant was empty and they made us wait for more than an hour. I repeat, we waited to have a nice reception.
