Very good food! The place is not exactly refined in terms of decoration but ambiance, sercice and food is really good
Amazing food!!!!!! Ravioli with truffles were fantastic! Thank you 👏👏👏
Amazing spot. Passed by it on the via Francigena and we were not disappointed. The food is amazing, the ravioli del plin is unbelievableably good, wine recommendations superb and great atmosphere. You are missing out if you don’t eat here
The food and wine here are amazing. Everyone who works there is charming and happy. Speaks volumes. The ravioli del plin is honestly the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten. Do not pass this place !
We crossed the Alps through the St Bernard tunnel to have lunch at Edi's this first Friday of May 2024. It was snowing lightly when we stopped at the old ski lift station/restaurant on the Swiss side of the tunnel for some urbex photoshoot but once down at the restaurant, temperature had risen to 16 degrees and we were warmly greeted by Edi and his kind and efficient staff. Pasta with black truffles and duck were on our plates, served with a local red and followed by panna cotta with blueberries. Unfortunately, they had still not opened the terrace from which you have a wonderful view southwards over the snowcapped mountains north of Torino. The place is popular with people from the cantons of Wallis and Vaud so book your table to be able to enjoy the company of the owner both in person and on the artwork decorating the walls. Highly recommended.
The environment, staff and service excellent.
Excellent fresh food, kind owner, price/quality. We strongly recommend.
We were heading from liddes to Turin and this was our perfect oasis to stop for lunch. The food was exceptional, the location was beautiful and the servers were friendly and helpful despite us not being able to speak Italian! We would return and would highly recommend this to anyone passing by!
The must otentic italian food I ate in Aosta
Most epic spaghetti ever!! Awesome Italian food and good service + the owner is very friendly.
Owner super funnt,great food
Great food, welcoming staff and very peaceful location.
I had the best meal of my holiday here whilst on holiday in September. I will definitely be back if I am in the area. Even the coffee was superb! Thanks.
My experience wasn’t as good as everyone mentions here. Ordered some lasagna that tasted a bit to old and for the kids I’ve ordered some pasta that was chewy.. there is “al dented” and I’ve got pasta boiled for 4-5 minutes. Probably if I would’ve ordered two stakes the pasta for the kids would’ve been cooked properly but we’re in a hurry and stoped for a quick bite.

In Gignod AO, above a small grocery store named Gabriela there’s a restaurant that I was looking for to have lunch and an espresso. I didn’t get to do any of that because I was turned away. I was told I needed a reservation even though the group before me and the one after me didn’t have a reservation. Maybe he didn’t care for the way I looked and that I was carrying a backpack since I am walking the Via Francigena. Although I was disappointed I am glad it happened. A local gentleman took me to a restaurant called La Maison De Pierre, very close to the previous restaurant. The people at the La Maison De Pierre were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and I got my credentials stamped. I still believe in less hate and more love and to be kind. Therefore to the person who turned me away I hope he finds some joy. Just a little rant.
