Under his care, I went through a comprehensive process to ensure that I was physicality and mentality ready for a gastric sleeve procedure. His follow-up care team and Doctor Silva himself, truly empowered me to continue life in a healthy way, even with my lifelong medical condition. I Had surgery 3 months ago. Dr Silva is an amazing physician. He is very honest, caring and funny. His bedside manners isn't something you learn in med school, he genuinely enjoys helping his patients. Dr Silva has preformed two surgeries on me and one on my husband. I wouldn't trust any other physician for general surgery other than Dr Silva. I've walked into his office a nervous wreck and walked out confident that everything would be fine and under his care thankfully I have been. If you looking for a doctor who will takes his time listening to your concerns and gives you an educated feedback he's your guy.

RECOMMENDED 100%. The best surgeon doctor. PEACE, PROFESSIONALISM, HUMANITY AND SECURITY. He transmits peace and security from the first day you meet him. Dr. Silva, he is more than a doctor. He is super professional and expert in his surgeries. But also, he is a real human being, who identifies with the problems of his patients. He has empathy with the patient. He takes time to listen to the needs of the patient. He seeks solutions and provides the best medical recommendations. He goes beyond his profession as a Doctor. He is super charismatic and cheerful. He radiates and transmits PEACE. I had a sleeve surgery, by Dr. Silva in December 2018. I left the surgery room at 3:30 pm and then at 8:00 pm, I was already walking through the corridors of the hospital .. Twelve hours after my operation, At 10:00 am, I was already, bathed and comfortably seated in a chair, having my bariatric breakfast. 24 hours after my surgery I left the hospital for my home, walking, without pain and with a successful recovery. Of course, each body responds differently, but without a doubt, the excellence of the work that Dr. Silva performed on me was the key to a successful operation and recovery. The service at their medical office, in Astor Ave. is excellent. I never wait more than 5 minutes to be attended. The organization of the staff is excellent. Dr. Silva takes the right time and necessary. He listens, he gives solutions, alternatives and if necessary recommendations to other colleagues to help with other existing medical conditions.
