Garage Grill

There were about 16 of us and they were so good about it. Hostess was amazing as well as our server. Food was really good.

We sat outside and GRACE was our server! She was great and even talked us into getting the monkey bread. Honestly, it was a very tasty dessert. If you ever come to Garage Grill I highly recommend asking for Grace. It’s also dog friendly outside :).

Such a fun restaurant!! The car decor is impressive, and the food is incredibly tasty. We had a large party, and our waiter was awesome, patient, made great food/beer recommendations, and was on top of the refills. I will definitely be returning.

I would happily give the atmosphere 10 stars if i could. What a cool place to eat! I got the F1 grilled cheese and it was soooo good. I think they fry their tots in tallow because they were also to die for. I can atest that all locations have just as good of an experience as this one did. I came here years ago when it opened and that was a good time too with a bunch of cars parked like a car show.

Garage Grill was deloicious! Will F, our server, was the bomb.com. We loved that guy. The manager Andy came out and checked on us and was a real chill guy. Most def will be back. All the stars.

I’ve seen videos and pictures of other people who came to Garage Grill to eat. This place is pretty amazing. I took my family to eat. For 6 of us, the bill came out to just over $100. My 6 yr old son was enthralled with all of the cars. The food was really good. The server was friendly and helpful. This restaurant specializes in both sushi and smoked meats. The sushi nachos are to die for. Simply amazing. My family ate Mac’n Cheese bites, grilled cheese (with brisket) and pulled pork with ribs. They have flavored lemonades and everyone had something they loved. Great meal, good experience. I would come and eat here again!

We had great food. Came out exactly as one would expect based on the menu. Server was a good guy that took care of us whether it was the food service or drinks. All in all a great place to stop and eat as I was traveling through.

Pleasantly surprised with the food selection and quality. Was unsure about a restaurant that offers sushi, jambalaya, and burgers on the same menu,but it was really good. One of my kids wanted the California roll that they said was the best they've had,I picked up the jambalaya which was delicious,and my wife had the brisket grilled cheese which she loved. Brisket nachos to start were spot on!

The restaurant was really cleaned and the staff was very friendly. If you like cars then this place would a fun spot

Great environment, awesome ambience, and the service was over the top. The GM Andy came around and chatted with us, super friendly. We’ll be coming back, highly recommended.

Garage grill exceeded all of my expectations. The rotating cars on display ensure it is interested each time you go. The food is great and the drink options are top notch. The serving sizes are large and you definitely get your moneys worth.

Good service. Fun atmosphere. Great food. I had the "Winners Circle" burger: Two Patties topped with Cheddar Cheese, Bacon Marmalade, Salt Flats BBQ Sauce, Fried Onion Strings, and Avocado. Holy crap it was good! If you get this burger make sure you ask your server for a big stack of extra napkins, because it is so big and messy in all the best ways. Could barely fit my mouth around it. I opted for the tater tots and they were perfectly crisp and warm. I also had an Irish Mule. It wasn't amazing, but I hear their beers are pretty amazing and are supplied by the owners "Salt Flats" brewery. Definitely worth checking this place out. 1/26/24 Update. Daughter had their MacNcheese and really liked it. I had their fish and chips. They were quite delicious. 4 decent sized pieces of halibut.

I’ve been a regular at the Herriman location for years. In fact I wrote a lot of my first book in the bar of the Herriman location of Garage Grill! This is the first time I’ve been to this location and it is equally awesome! Great service from Desi the bartender. And ask for Sara who is delightful! And I stepped away from some of my usual favorites to try Tuesday tacos and a margarita!. Oh you wanna know what my favorites are? Number one the Enzo sushi nachos I hear they’re named after my grandson… Also a big fan of the Sturgis Buffalo wings and the lap record Ruben and several of the sushi rolls including the Fuji dragonand the firecracker 500. If you’re in the mood for a burger the hot lap will fill you up for days. And I like shrimp tacos and now we’re back to taco Tuesday! My friend Sammi loves the salmon which is practically a poem. Enjoy!

Went here for my sons birthday, food and service was great. There really isn’t anything comparable close by. Wish their prices were a bit better, but the food and beer is better than About Time right next door. Unique atmosphere as well.

This is such a cute place! It was my first time being there and it was a first date with a hottie that I'm still talking to. He recommended it and he and his colleagues absolutely love it. The food was phenomenal, the service was great, the atmosphere was to die for! I live in South Ogden and we don't have anything like this around town. I'm saddened by it. This place is so cute! Definitely give it a try!

We have been to garage grill a few times so we brought some colleagues out to dinner here, none of them had tried it before. They all loved the service, food and atmosphere. From the appetizers to the food and dessert everything was on point and tasted great. Highly recommend the hot lap burger if you love spice.

A quality restaurant with a great atmosphere! First time there and I was not disappointed. The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. There was a minor issue with our order, and the manager, Robson, made sure it was corrected, and then he even gave us a dessert to try... delicious! He really understands customer service. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Half price appetizers on Thursdays, what a deal!

The best burgers in town! The cutlets are juicy, the roasting is exactly as ordered, and the buns are soft and fresh. I also really liked the steaks and specialty snacks. The portions are large, you definitely won't leave hungry. I recommend trying their craft beer — it perfectly complements meat dishes. The service is fast, despite the full boarding

We had the most amazing experience!! Our server was Zack, Maddie was our hostess. Both are incredible! I really can't describe how welcoming and friendly they were. Such a lovely time 💕 Oh, and the food was exceptional as well!

This is absolutely a go-to spot! We go here often, and they’ve never had bad food. Their sandwiches are amazing, the donburi bowl is filling yet light, and their beer is great. Des was super funny and on top of everything. Will absolutely be coming here again soon!

I’m Gluten Free and they have awesome options. Des, the waitress who helped us, was willing to check all the ingredients and ensure I was safe to eat! I got a burger and the gf bun was amazing! Andy, the manager came to our table and made sure everything was going well and was wonderful company! I’ve eaten here many times and it’s always delicious.

What a great restaurant! Even though it was busy, it didn't feel crowded, the lighting was pleasant and subdued and I loved the garage theme. I don't know much about racing or cars but I don't think you need to to recognize that the cars in display are pretty awesome. Then there was the food. There's something on the menu for everyone. The sushi surprised me and I intend to go back and try the sushi nachos. I decided to try the onion rings as an appetizer. The batter was excellent. When our meals came the presentation was colorful and attractive. I had the pulled pork sliders. The meat is smoked on site and very good. We got full way too fast and didn't try the dessert. Maybe next time.

The food here is good, but not the main attraction. The sushi is mid-tier at best, although they do offer a good variety of rolls. The brisket tacos however were amazing, super flavorful and very filling. The reason to come here is the cars for sure, and they do a great job at bringing that scene to your table. However, the decoration and setup at the Herriman location by far surpasses the vibes at this location. Service here was good, but nothing above expectations. Great place overall.

Quite a diverse menu with hamburgers, sushi, and even fish and chips. Pretty dang good, makes me wanna try more of the menu. Waiter was friendly and outdoor patio seating has a nice view. Took advantage of the dog-friendly outdoor seating too, though they didnt bring a water bowl or anything out for him. Overall a good experience and would go back.

Let’s talk about the sushi nachos… yeah that’s the empty plate! They went so fast! Delicious if you’re looking to get a little crazy! Their burgers were also good and their tater tots are highly placed over the sweet potatoes fries! Sooo yummy! I wouldn’t bother with the teriyaki looking bowl as it tasted like you could make it from a frozen dinner meal. Service was excellent and friendly! Waiters were knowledgeable and friendly!

Took my son here for his 16th birthday. It's an awesome place with cool sports cars and racing memorabilia all over. Super cool atmosphere but the food was just OK. The BBQ sauce on our wings was good but not my favorite, and the chicken meat was too tough. I also had the dirt track burger and it was good, but needed more gravy on it. My son got the Mustang burger and loved it. My wife got the pork tacos and liked them but said they were lacking flavor. Very cool place that I will try again and order a different food item in hopes it is better.

Overall a good experience, the food was pretty good a bit on the pricey side around $30 a person. We split the brisket nachos and the brisket was amazing. I also had the mustang burger which was also very good. Would likely go back.

The food was pretty good and had huge portions, but is kind of pricey. The waitress wasn't very friendly though, that was kind of uncomfortable. We ordered a couple cocktails, and one came out with lip prints along the rim. We received a, sorry, let me get you another one, but that was still kind of gross. The race car noise in-between each song was annoying. Haha. But I get it's part of the theme. Overall, we would come again if friends wanted to go, but probably not just us for lunch or dinner. They do have gluten free options, like a hamburger bun.

I love cars. Garage Grill's atmosphere is absolutely phenomenal as a car lover, and I love seeing such fun themed restaurants here in Utah. That being said, the food really struggled to keep up with the atmosphere, especially at the cost. I got the sushi nachos, and the mustang burger with a side of Mac and cheese. Sushi Nachos: 5 stars, no complaints. Amazingly delicious. Mustang burger: 3 stars. The burger was good, flavorful, and filling, but a little bit dry. It was also served colder than I would expect. Mac and cheese side: 1 star. It was dry, lacking any sort of notable flavor, and had nothing special or noteworthy. Was also served cool. The whole restaurant was pretty cold, and I found myself wishing I brought a jacket. This might be part of the reason the food was so cold on its arrival. Overall it was a fun experience, but it will be a long time before I come back. The cost is just too high to justify the food's quality.

If you come here it is for the atmosphere! Food was okay most of our food came out barely warm. The brisket grilled cheese is greasy but the brisket flavor was good! We came right at opening at 11:30

I thought it be better but it’s okay! We had lunch here and food was okay my husband had a burger and salad and I had the chicken salad. Our server guy was awesome though and friendly.

We ordered the Enzo Sushi Nachos, Speedway Tachos, Paddock Club, and Hawaiian Haystack (special). The sushi nachos are great, and makes sense why they're popular. The tachos are good too, but I'm not normally a tater tot fan. The pulled pork and queso with it really round out the dish, so I would order again. The sandwich and slaw weren't anything special. And speaking of special, the haystack was okay; the chicken being well-flavored but otherwise not worth it. From the few experiences I've had with Garage Grill, it's not a "you can't go wrong" type of place. I've had good experiences with the sushi and seafood, but not sandwiches or burgers. Des provided excellent service. She was personable, gave great and honest recommendations, and made it a fantastic dining experience. The restaurant is really cool. If you like cars at all, you'll love this place. My dad noted Garage Grill feels like a car lover needed an excuse to show off their collection so hid it in a restaurant. They also do meet-ups in the parking lot and it's cool to see the classic cars folks bring in. Overall, the food is midtier and too pricey for the experience, but it's a unique place and the sushi is pretty good.

I am Very middle man on this restaurant. Messy - ok food - slow The sushi- fresh and well made The burgers- strong flavors great presentation. We came in an hour before rush to see the difference and the service was incredibly slow. It’s almost like the servers were also working the kitchen. It took 45 minutes to get our food and another 15 to try and send the check. The burgers are good and really large, the onion rings too it’s a lot of food. I got the passenger Princess drink it’s $7 for pink grenadine in sprite with uncrushed mint so not very impressive for a specialty drink. I got the tiger roll sushi and the salmon was really good but the mango was lacking. The cars are cool but the theme is more novelty so if you’re wanting to look around then leave that’s just as good as a car meet and you wouldn’t spend $60. My biggest issue is how dirty the seats/floors were. I sat down at a dirty table but at the time there were only 6 tables filled- and staff nowhere to be found. In general this would be classified as simply “good” as there is nothing truly exemplary in any form here. But The staff are super nice and will never leave questions unanswered.

Positives- decor was cool, the onion rings were great, and our food came in a timely fashion once ordered. Negatives- took our waitress 12-13 minutes to check in with us once seated and not the friendliest greeting, fries were warm not hot, cheese on grilled cheese wasn’t fully melted, and the mixed greens in the salad were beginning to wilt.

Hit this place at 4:00pm on a Monday. Waited 5-6 minutes at the front door due to no one up there before the manager saw us. Only 4-5 tables seated, normal before the dinner rush. Server took our drink order, beers were cold and good. Ordered food shortly after. Waited almost 35 minutes to get our meals with hardly anyone in the place. Food was lukewarm at best, and not flavorful at all. Staff was “present” but not engaging or genuinely friendly, more robotic. Used the restroom on the way out and it was disgusting for that early in the day. Giving two stars ONLY because the beer was good, food presentation was nice even though it was cold across the board, even after waiting as long as we did. Won’t be back..

We went for lunch on Valentine’s Day at 2:30. Our party was two adults and a toddler. Initially, we were given a table with chairs, but they didn’t have a booster seat and our toddler is too small for a regular chair, so they moved us to a booth. I’ve never been to a place with a children’s menu but no booster seats. It’s possible they were all in use, but that’s not what the hostess said. The restaurant was not even half full, although the bar was pretty full (this comes into play later). It took a while for our waitress to acknowledge us (close to 10–15 minutes). While we waited, we watched the GM make two loops around the restaurant floor with a member of the wait staff. They were clearly discussing how to reorganize the seating in preparation for the evening crowd. It took so long for our waitress to come over that we were ready to order our appetizer, drinks, and food all at once. My husband realized our waitress was also the bartender, which did not bode well for us, as she messed up two of the three drinks—water with lemon, an iced tea, and a toddler’s chocolate milk. My husband went to get my drink fixed and had to go back a second time to try to get the chocolate milk corrected because we were given juice instead. The food was fine. She did come by and ask if we needed anything right after we got the food. After that, we didn’t see her again. She was fairly busy at the bar. They didn’t clear our appetizer plates or a salad plate, and we had no hope of getting a water refill or more iced tea for my husband. Once we were done eating, we waited about 10 minutes for the check and a box. After trying to get anyone’s attention, I walked up to where two people were talking and asked for a box and the check. The GM brought them to me and said the bartender/waitress was busy since she’s “the only one.” The only… what? She wasn’t the only waitress because by that point, we had interacted with at least five wait staff members and saw at least five others. I can only guess he meant she was the only bartender. That is a failure of scheduling on the GM’s part. The GM read the ticket when he presented it to me and said he was giving me a discount (which I did not ask for). However, I told him the ticket was wrong, as we were being charged for a drink we didn’t order and one we never received. He told me, very condescendingly, that he would fix it and be back. While I was waiting for the corrected check, another waiter brought us a chocolate milk. I refused it, as my toddler was done eating and had drunk most of my water and didn’t need it at that point. We just wanted to leave by then. The GM returned and told me, in a more condescending tone, that he was short-staffed, but he had removed the entire kid’s meal and the chocolate milk from the check and given me “a little discount because you’re clearly frustrated.” Honestly, at that point, I was more annoyed with the GM’s tone (talking to me like I’m stupid) than with the original issue. While I signed the receipt, another waiter came to apologize for messing up the chocolate milk. He said our waitress had asked him to handle it, and he had forgotten. Oddly, the GM never actually apologized. I know the waitress’s name, but I don’t want to name her here because, from our perspective, the GM made the mistake of having the bartender wait tables while also being the only bartender when clearly the bar needed someone full time. The food was okay, but not amazing enough to make up for the experience.

Food took awhile, while they weren’t busy for 2 people, It didn’t bother me then but the asparagus was terrible, the Mac and cheese was alright but way to much Grease, waiter was good, but aside from that I wasn’t impressed at all, the other location has much better food and restaurant, don’t waste your time at this one go to the other one!!!!! The pic below shows each meal at both locations, you’ll see the difference. Just disappointing, still cool.

So disappointed with the experience. I was hoping for a nice juicy burger (since this is called a GRILL), I got a dry, premade, frozen and reheated patty and bland fries with no salt on them. Sushi tasted weird too (probably not the best choice to order in such a restaurant but even then, they were even worse than expected). Sorry, I really don’t like to leave bad reviews but the food was really bad. Nothing fresh or tasty about it. And really expensive for this quality. Kinda sad I wasted our Friday night for this. Rather wouldn’t have eaten at all, to be honest. Want to see cool cars? Go somewhere else, the food is so not worth it. And if you do end up there, just get a beer and call it a night.

Service is always good here. But I’ve now eaten here 4 times, and every single meal I’ve had — sushi, salad, Mac & cheese, burger — have all made me sick. I don’t want a gift card, and I don’t recommend anyone ever eat here. Last night, my wife got a salad and I got a burger. The thing was made for a 500 lb person with no restraint, I had to take pieces of onion, extra meat that didnt belong on it, and too much onion ring off. When we got home, she threw up. I woke up with food poisoning this morning. Don’t eat here.

Yikes. The Food made us feel ill before we even got home! I’ve never left food behind at a restaurant before, but there’s a first time for everything. I’ve also never ever had a chicken Cesar salad I didn’t like, but apparently it is possible to do it wrong; tasted like it was tossed in pure mayonnaise, not Cesar dressing, and I threw up shortly after getting home. My husband’s burger also had a bad effect on him. 👎🏻 👎🏻👎🏻 …artichoke dip was pretty good.
