Love the Valentine’s Day here: special menu , food is beautiful, tasty! All personnel is very unique and authentic! Amazing and beautifully served food, great wine and cocktails. They were just as reluctant to serve limoncello as fancy Italian restaurant should be ) thank you to Rafael for being out waiter ! He made this evening:)

My wife and I had a perfect night during one of Locanda’s Wine Bar special wine dinner events. Our hosts Tullio and Matteo were awesome, as always. The food was perfectly paired with several tasty whites and reds. Looking forward to their next wine Dinner in February.

Took my family here for a birthday celebration and had a wonderful time! The ambience was great and service was wonderful. The salmon, sea bass, and pasta with bolognese were awesome! We didn’t like the roasted vegetables so much. The drinks were beautiful and tasted delicious. Parking was difficult to find; most parking spots are street parking spots. There was a parking garage that we didn’t go to that was about a 2-3 minute drive from Locanda. I highly recommend this place for people who want a place with nice outdoors, great food, and delicious drinks. Thank you for making my parent’s birthday celebration a wonderful time!

A such great italian feeling there. The food is awesome. Will come back when near Livermore. I forgot to take a pic of one of the dishes but it was delicious "Pollo a la Marssala" appettizer and dessert top notch. I went for a second time last weekend and added the pictures of the food. Excelent!

Had a lovely experience at Locanda Wine Bar! The service was amazing—everyone was so attentive and welcoming. Rafael was especially sweet and made our night even more special by surprising us with a free sorbet. Highly recommend for a cozy night out with great food and even better service!

We had great food and great service. It is a smaller restaurant which is one large indoor room with high and low tables surrounding a bar in the center of the room. The kitchen is in the back of the room and open to the restaurant. We liked the wooden tables and colorful dishes and glassware. There is also seating outside under a tent covering which did not look inviting to us, but several people asked to be seated there instead of indoors. The food is delicious, and the menu has helpful vegetarian and gluten-free designations. This was our second visit, and we will definitely be returning to dine here again.

Went here for an early birthday lunch and so glad we did! Marvin who took care of us was great, very accommodating and put us in such a good mood! The drinks (frozen Rossini and espresso martini) were strong and delicious! Rossini was particularly refreshing! We ordered the branzino and the short rib, the potatoes with the branzino were perhaps the best potatoes we'd ever had? And the fish and veggies were fresh and tasty. The short rib was flavorful and could have eaten it with a spoon because it was so well cooked. But the surprise was in the dessert, we had the pistachio cake AND WOW! That was light, fluffy and flavorsome, get yours ! Will be back!

Food was excellent and service was very good, even with a full house. We started with olive tapenade w/bread, and shared the insalada Locanda, special cheesy fettuccine w/bacon (don’t know name-not on menu, really tasty), and meatballs—all had great flavor and were sooo good!! Cocktails: basil martini (wonderful flavor) and ‘special mocktail’ were awesome 🙂 Parking note: find parking on street (only a couple spaces (very tight) in parking area out front.)

Every time I come here it is beyond special! The staff are some of the friendliest you will find and the food is beyond delicious! I had the clam chowder special and it may have been the best clam chowder I’ve ever had. I will happily come back over and over again.

I had the penne vodka with chicken, which was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were just as good. The staff was attentive and friendly, and everything came out quickly. Definitely one of the better spots in Livermore for good food, great drinks, and a comfortable vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back.

This go around was a little rocky. Our reservation specifically asked for inside seating. They didn't plan ahead or pay attention to it at all. Just offered us what they had. Why have a reservation? Food was mostly good except the chicken was a little tough. Service was ok but had to look for server multiple times.

Sad to write this review. I'll start by saying the food is amazing. Some of the best gnocchi I've ever tried. The sad part is the service. We sat for about 20 minutes before we got greet on a slow day. Once I looked around for a manager someone did quickly come to take our order. We asked our waitress for some Parmesan cheese and it just never arrived. No big deal, the food didn't need it after all. We then asked for dessert and got the wrong order. Kind of frustrating but they fixed the order. We got offered caramel vodka shots for the inconvenience.... there was lipstick stains on the shot glass. Now, the service was no good but it wasn't enough for me to say I'll never come back. What made this visit really disappointing was the 3% we were forced to pay that contributes into the staff's healthcare and benefits. I understand what the charge is, but I don't understand why I have to pay for it. I'm already tipping our waitress. Also, what's my guarantee that money is actually going towards those benefits and not just being pocketed. Interestingly enough, our waitress didn't drop off the receipt. She charged me on her device showing the total and I had to ask for an itemized receipt. Again..... food is amazing. The best. But the decisions leadership has made in this establishment will be its downfall.

Not sure how to rate this but really annoying. Group had 2 martinis and they charged extra 1.50$ each for standard crappy olives, not blue cheese. Every little thing, we didn't even order with olives.

I have been here before but this place seems to have changed. The pink sauce pasta was still good but the pizza had just too much tomato sauce spread out. Also the service was terrible. Nobody to attend without asking and the place wasn’t even occupied.

Do Not recommend- Terrible service, very rude server, food tasted how I imagine cardboard tastes. Nice vibes from being outside but that's more thanks to Mother Nature, than this restaurant. Overall, not impressed and I don't think we'll be back. Kindness and sincerity go a long way, I recommend them finding servers who know how to speak and act professionally, especially when in situations that don't need unnessicary tensions.
