I always go for the Turkey Lunch Bagel. I love their cinnamon raisin bagels too. It's a small place but it has tables outside. Staff is friendly and fast. I have never waited more than 10 min. for my order.

My favorite bagel shop in town! Great bagels and great service! Usually get a sausage, egg, & cheese on everything, but switched it up and tried the ham melt… I was not disappointed!

What a great experience I just had at this family owned bagel shop. The place was clean, cool and friendly. They had samples available for guest and the owner decided to treat us with an extra dessert. Will definitely be visiting again!

Honestly, I’ve been looking for a good San Diego bagel since 2015 and I have finally found my place. Living in New York really spoiled me and unfortunately I am addicted to bagels. I have been thoroughly disappointed in my search for bagels until I stumbled upon Memo’s Cafe. Immediately upon entering, the aroma of a fresh baked bagel hits your nose. The staff is extremely friendly but I don’t care. I just want a good bagel. I started off with a classic bagel and cream cheese. I always start with the basics to gauge my bagel. The Bagel was toasted and savory plain cream cheese was smeared on. I didn’t have high expectations since all my previous San Diego bagel experiences have been trash. But once I took a bite, that was it. I was back in New York. Perfect balance of crunch and chewy. Just the right dose of cream cheese hit my veins. I was in heaven. I devoured the bagel. I politely thanked them and left. Now after I was off the cream cheese high, I decided to try Memos again a week later, to ensure it wasn’t a fluke. My second visit, I had the pleasure of meeting Memo herself. She was very kind and knew her bagels. This time I had to go with the everything bagel. A real test. Most places can make the everything too salty. There is an art to the everything bagel. It needs to taste just like everything and nothing all at once. I ordered the everything bagel and it was phenomenal. I’ve been back several times and it’s consistently good. Thank you for the best bagels Memo! You guys are amazing!!!

Great bagel sandwich with quality ingredients. I stopped in here while waiting for new tires with a big appetite and left satisfied. I enjoyed my sausage, egg, and cheese bagel. The ingredients tasted fresh and the other flavors of bagels/cream cheese looked delicious. House coffee was good and there was plenty of seating. The price is fair.

Food quality went down. This was my favorite bagel place and recently moved back to this area. Ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and the cream cheese didn’t taste good. I got myself a Bacon, egg, and cheese Everything bagel and It was so moist. The bacon was chewy. Liked they just heated up old bacon in the microwave. The eggs were still wet. They weren’t cooked all the way. The cheese and bagel was the only good part.

The place was very busy, but only two workers to take orders and collect money and the other to put orders together. My breakfast bagel was good. The bacon could have been crisper and could have put more bacon on it. It was full of egg! But the egg had a nice flavor.

The food is great but the time it takes to get that food is NOT worth it. Ordered 45 minutes before arriving and it still wasn’t done. Do better.

However, the lack of customer service and ability to perform don't justify the pricing model they have available. Wish them well in the future, and I appreciate their selection of juices. Have a nice day.

This place has great food. I've been coming here since I was a kid. I even still drive 30 minutes out there when I'm feeling nostalgic. However, the service has been incredibly bad the last two times and I won't be back. Today I was completely shocked when my Lox Bagel order came out with scrambled eggs! I figured they would have apologized and remade the order. But they said I'd have to pay for another order of I wanted my Lox Bagel. Imagine a bagel place messing up a bagel order as simple as Lox Bagel! It really blew my mind.

Unfortunately, my experience was not pleasant. I made a simple request to have my bagel cut, and the employee responded with visible frustration. I value courteous customer service and hope this is addressed moving forward.
