This is my go to spot. The carne asada burritos are packed full of deliciousness. The rice and beans are by far the best. Beef tacos and other menu items have not disappointed me either. I can eat seafood so I'm not help there. The Owner / Cook is super nice.

On Thursdays I'll tell you, you get a great burrito. You get what you pay for. Big burrito(toasted tortilla) at a good price. Soooo much better than 1 year ago... thank you for improving and now the best taco shop in the area.

The Saturday morning crew is amazing! The host is friendly and keeps everthing clean. The cook makes the food not only delicious but pleasing to the eye as well. Try the surf n turf burrito. So good!

They had a live band. Huge booths, super friendly staff as they let my kids dance to the live band and they enjoyed our kids and were super friendly with them and they made sure they got our order right and they did perfectly. Everything was super good and tasted so wonderful. Great atmosphere, family friendly. Great food. Great staff. Definitely worth a visit!

This place never disappoints me. I normally order the same burrito everywhere else . But this place I have been trying everything from soups to tacos and of course a burrito. I highly recommend. My go to every Sunday!

This has a lot of choices, and even have menudo. All the food has been amazing. It is as close to a home cooked meal as you can get without the work. The food always seems to be made fresh for you. This place has become my go-to.. Not much in the atmosphere, but I promise their food makes you forget all about that and appreciate the flavors they pour into each plate. It is tucked away in a gas station plaza and doesn't seem like much, but I truly cannot think of a Mexican restaurant that had this much flavor and love put into each plate. The menudo here is AMAZING!!

We live close by. This is our go-to for quick and yummy Mexican food. Their menudo is hearty. Their veggie burritos are huge and enough to share between two people. We've ordered a variety of foods from here. Those are just the ones we order the most. They never disappoint. All the staff are friendly. You walk in, you feel welcome. You can see the guys in the back and can wave hi to them and they greet you too. Good place. Good people. Good prices.

HUGE burritos. Cali comes with a ton of fries, I would ask them to go easy on the fries when ordering. Lady is super nice. Got my burrito in 5min. Definitely will try this place again To the comments saying it’s expensive, majority of taco shops are raising their prices due to rent costs. Restaurants are closing every day cause they can’t keep up with rent. Give them a break.

It's a nice Mexican restaurant with speedy service so you won't be there waiting for your food. I got the California burrito which was HUGE like twice the size of a regular one. I also got the roll tacos which were my favorite from what I ordered. The red salsa they have is so good I was shocked. They also have a green salsa which is very spicy so if you like spicy be sure to ask for the green one. Other than that it's your average Mexican restaurant with super friendly service. Nothing to complain about.

Most locals are aware that a lot of taco shops aren't too far from another in terms of how good they are. There's too many here that are long time features of the SD culinary landscape so most shops over 5 or 10 years old are legit. You'll also find out that each has a particular menu item that is significantly better than the competition too. This one is definitely the spot for surf n' turf fries in the rancho SD area hands down. Consistently good in my experience. El Toro off Meadowbrook offers better surf n turf, but not as consistently. They also offer beer and wine so come with an appetite and leave with an altogether satisfied experience.

Salsa didn't taste too good. My son asked for a burrito without cheese. And it seems like they put extra cheese on it. The food was good customer service needs to improve but other than that it was okay Taco Shop

This place used to be good but has gone downhill lately. Lunch order today was the final straw. Chicken was undercooked and an extra $1 for sour cream, yet not even a dash of it in the burrito. Crossing this place off our list of go-to spots.

I looked at the menu to order a basic breakfast burrito I got home took a few bites, and ALL RICE….😡😡 on the menu they four options of breakfast burritos and it tells you what each burrito comes with, well mine doesn’t come with rice, well it fkn did, and most of it was RICE…BS! Hardly any egg which is the most important of the breakfast burrito. It was $11.00 for this rice burrito PALOMINOS your breakfast burrito SUCKED, and over priced! I’ll never go there again!
