Veg / Vegan review 💚🙌 Absolutely loved the food here! Heavenly!! 1. Panang curry (5/5): with tofu and veggies - to die for! Get the jasmine rice on the side 2. Pad see ew (5/5): Equally amazing!

I tried the Tom Kha Veg Soup, Roti Panang, Pad See Ew, and Dusita’s House Fried Rice — every dish was absolutely delicious! 🤩The Tom Kha Soup was the real highlight — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I’d say this is one of the best Thai restaurants in the Bay Area. The food, flavors, and overall experience were amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back!😋

Dusita Thai, you’ve officially stolen a piece of our hearts (and taste buds)! We swung by on a Saturday night around 7:45 PM. Despite a 20-minute wait, the staff were absolute pros—quick, friendly, and got tables ready with ninja-like speed in their cozy little spot. Totally worth every minute! Now, let’s talk about the deliciousness we devoured, specially tailored for our South Indian palates with “no spice” versions: • Iced Thai Tea – A refreshing start and a cool, sweet hug in a glass. (4.5/5) • Ginger Hot Tea – Warm, comforting, and served already brewed in a teapot. No fuss, just pure ginger goodness. (4.5/5) • Chicken Satay – Juicy grilled skewers with a rich peanut sauce. A classic done right. (4/5) • Tom Yum Soup (Chicken, No Spice) – Even without the spice, it was bursting with flavor! A warm, tangy bowl that was just right for two light eaters. (4.5/5) • Chicken Basil Fried Rice (No Spice) – Fragrant, flavorful, and super satisfying. Every bite had the perfect hint of basil. (4.5/5) • Pad Thai Noodles (Chicken, No Spice) – Comforting, balanced, and delicious—everything you want in a Pad Thai. (4.5/5) • Panaang Curry (No Spice) – Initially served with mild spice (which felt like a fire alarm to us!), but the staff quickly remade it to our taste. Creamy, flavorful, and just right. (4.5/5) • Mango Sticky Rice – The grand finale! Sweet, ripe mango paired with coconut-infused sticky rice—pure bliss. Don’t skip this! (5/5) Edit :- Sept 20, 2025 • Pad See Ew - This is also very good. 🚨 Spice warning for fellow low-tolerance folks: “Mild” might still set your mouth on fire. Stick with “No Spice” if you’re like us! All in all, a wonderful dinner with kind service and great food. Dusita Thai is officially on our favorites list—we’ll definitely be back!

Great authentic Thai food. You can also ask for mixed meet dish, i.e. Pad Thai, but in m cases they either overheard or forgot to add prawns so be more explicit. Portions are massive and also really tasteful.

Authentic thai restaurant, located in Santa Clara. Curry Pad Thai All the stir fried Please expect a bit wait, for both the table and the food. They are busy. Also, staff is limited here, kinda hard to get attention.

The first indication that this place serves great food was the line to get in at lunch. That being said, the wait for a table for 10 was < 15 minutes. The staff is fast & efficient. Despite being FULL, service was good. The food was outstanding! I had a spicy red curry with chicken. The portions were large, and I did NOT leave hungry. The heat on the curry was good. The curry had a nice bite to it, but it did not overpower the flavor of the chicken. To me, the wait was minor, and the food was amazing. I will be back!

Excellent service! Right from serving the veg-wonton chips to start the waiters keep topping the water and checking on your food. We had tried the lunch menu with red and green curry it was good! Out of the two I liked the green curry. Wish they had added some salad too, to cleanse the pallete.

One of the best place for all Thai food lovers. They have plenty of vegetarian options too and the food here is too good. I have ordered Tom Yum soups, Drunken Noodles and Pineapple fried rice. Tom Yum Soup was good, Drunken noodles and Pineapple fried rice are must try.

This is one of the best Thai food you’ll have in the South Bay! We have been regular here for years, the taste has remind same. For most people their mild and medium spicy level will be great, but if you are one of the people like me who enjoy spicy food, I would def recommend ordering one of the dishes at The highest level (hot/spicy depending on the server you have. Great options for vegetarian as well. Recommendation: Massaman curry, papaya salad, house and pineapple fried rice, chicken/duck run, chicken and beans, appetizer sampler, crispy noodle dish I am forgetting the name of, Thai iced tea Notes: If you don’t want to wait ~30 min to get in, I would recommend coming before 6:30pm. The parking lot is extremely small and crowded, but ample parking on nearby streets.

Just got back from our pre-Valentine's celebration and everything was just so good! We ordered mild spicy which they made perfectly. Even my hubby who is not a fan of Thai food loved it. We arrived around 6PM without a reservation and were seated immediately. The restaurant got quite busy soon though, but the service guy was so welcoming. Sadly mango sticky rice was not available today. I will come back sometime for lunch as its lunch menu looks quite good.

Excellent Thai food, they have wide verity of vegetarian options on the menu. They can customize few dishes for you based on your allergies or preferences. If you are an Indian medium spicy should be fine, the actual spicy is a lot spicy!!

Our first time trying this place. Hands down, it's probably one of the best Thai places that we've had in San Jose. The portion sizes are very reasonable for the price. We had the Tom Yum Soup, Red Curry, and Pad See Ew. We will be going back for a visit again in the near future!

My go-to place for Thai food in Santa Clara. Have been here several times on weekend nights, and there is always a queue, but the waiting time is acceptable, less than 30min. There is not much parking outside, suggest street parking nearby. Have tasted a lot of food here, all of them are delicious. For traditional Thai food, I recommend Tom Yum soup(with seafood), yellow curry, and pineapple fried rice. For Tom Yum Soup and curry, they will ask you the preferred spicy level. Mild is okay for us. If you can eat spicy food, you could try regular or extra. Both of Tom Yum Soup and curry are good comfort food. Curry is also very thick and creamy, and it goes well with white rice. The amount of Pineapple fried rice is so generous, and it is suitable for 4 people. There are a lot of seafood and nuts in it. For appetizers, tofu is great. And you must try “chicken run” (the fried chicken), which is gold and crispy, the best fried chicken I’ve had in Bay Area.

Dusita Thai offers authentic Thai flavors in a setting that blends contemporary touches with traditional elements. While the interior is fairly simple and minimal, the focus here is clearly on the food. Despite having a reservation made the day before, we did have to wait upon arrival. However, the experience quickly improved once we were seated. The menu is extensive and well-rounded, with a particularly appealing lunch special available Monday through Friday at very reasonable prices. We ordered several dishes from the lunch specials, including red curry, green curry, Pad Kee Mao, spicy crispy catfish, Pad Thai, and pineapple curry. In addition, we tried the green papaya salad, Bangkok tempura, and roti panang. Every dish we ordered was delicious and well-prepared, making it easy to choose based on personal preference. One standout for me was the spicy crispy catfish--perfectly cooked, crispy, flavorful, and absolutely satisfying. Othere interesting dishes is Bangkok tempura. I have visited so many Thai restaurant and this is the first time I see tempura on the menu. If you're looking for authentic Thai food around Santa Clara at a reasonable price point, Dusita Thai is definitely worth a visit.

This place was always on our list and we finally made it.. Lunch time was pretty busy here but the service was very quick here. We had their lunch special along with Thai iced tea.. I really liked the panang curry and the fish was great.

Loved the Bangkok Tempura and Tom Kha Mixed Vegetables Soup—both were delicious! The Dushita House Fried Rice was tasty too. However, the spice level was much higher than expected (even at medium), and the Basil Tofu & Mixed Vegetables and Sweet & Sour Basa Filets had way too much capsicum, overpowering other flavors. The fish dish had only two small pieces with loads of capsicum. Service was friendly, and the place had a simple Thai vibe. Expect a 20-minute wait and limited parking.

**"Warning: Prepare your taste buds!"** If you're planning to visit this Thai spot, make sure to arrive early – parking can be a real headache. Once you're inside, things get interesting. We ordered the papaya salad with a mild spice level, but it definitely wasn’t mild! It packed a serious punch and left our mouths on fire – so be careful with your spice choices! On a brighter note, the Pad Thai noodles were hands down the best we've ever had – perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The pineapple rice was also a pleasant surprise – sweet, savory, and totally satisfying. Overall, order wisely and be ready for some heat!

Total Score: 7.95 Bathroom: 4/5 Lovely art, fairly clean. But what’s up with the pee colored walls 😭 Customer Service: 2.5/5 Hard to grab and hard to refill water Ambiance: 4.5/5 Lovely candlelight vibes, with a very homey decor. Food: 4.75/5 The flavors were exploding!! Meats were cooked well and juicy. The curry had just enough kick and spice and when mixed with the fried rice, was chefs kiss. Only complain was carrots were a bit uncooked. Wow: 0/1 Normal Thai restaurant Total Score = BR + CS + 2*AM + 5*FOOD + WOW

Visited for dinner late on Thursday night. They have the best tasting Thai food best suiting for spice lovers. We ordered medium spicy and that had a good amount of fire in them. My kids are both older than 8 years and they both ate it at the time but will not order that spice level for them again. Gave 4 stars inspite the fact that food is excellent. Reason being the wait time. There is wait to be seated, wait for someone to come take order and then wait for the order to come. With 2 hungry boys, I would not dare to come here again.

The food her amazing no doubt about it. I have eaten here countless times and loved it each time....we generally order chicken satay or eggrolls, curries and fried rice. However we hate the owner. They are very rude. They are aware that people keep coming here for the food and hence dont care how rude they are. The place is small. Parking is limited. Wait area is small as well and they are closed on Sundays

Decent food, good quantity. We ordered mild spice level, but that was spicy for us. If you like spicy this will great. Slightly arrogant waitress, she didn’t want to add an extra egg. Otherwise decent food.

Ideally 3.5/5. Went to Dusita on a Friday night and had to wait 10-15 minutes for the table. The place was packed. They have an extensive menu (reminded me of Cheescake factory 🤣). Their spice level was not as spicy- medium spice was more on the sweeter side. We ordered shrimp soup, cashew chicken, a pork dish and a beef dish and thai iced tea. Thai iced tea was sweeter than expected. Medium spicy cashew chicken was more sweet and sour chicken. Beef had a good kick to it. The soup was probably the only spicy thing we had. Overall it was decent. Overall the food was a bit expensive so keeping that in mind, it didn't meet the expectations. The service was a little slow, probably because of how busy they were. They only have a small parking lot so you may have to find parking in the residential area.

Friday dinner:(~12 pm) - Reserved few hours early, got seated immediately. Okay place, very crowded and quite busy as well. Pro-tip: Share an entree to save money and for better health :) - Ordered Chicken Satay, Fried Calamari for appetiser, Crab fried rice(medium spicy). The Chicken satay was the best for the three, rightly flavoured with the sauce. - Fried calamari was good, cooked right, usually I don’t eat fish, and I liked it. -The Crab fried rice, the portion size was very big for a single person, should feed two to three people(probably they should order half plates with reduced prices), not much flavour, no side of sauce, so it’s meh. They probably used canned crab, the shell of the crab was still there, and I didn’t like it. - My friends order pineapple fried rice with chicken it’s way better and good. - Served in 15 min. Server was okay and patient, she volunteered to take a picture of us.
