Nice place to eat. Not the healthiest option so I come very infrequently but the food is awesome. I love the chicken bites with french fries. Pretty inexpensive food. Good staff. Inside is very small but they have a lot more tables outside, which I think is where they intend you to eat.

Best Checkers I have been to. Unlike other Checkers, food is actually served fresh here. Fries & burgers are awesome. This location actually has a drive-thru. The only thing about this place, doesn't have indoor seating. Service needs improvement, especially in the night.

The drive-thru experience was incredibly quick—less than 20 seconds to place my order and about 30 seconds to get my food, so in under a minute, I had everything I needed! I also noticed that the manager and many of the employees were from Mexico, and their efficiency really stood out. It made me think about how important it is to appreciate the skills and dedication that immigrants bring. For just about $7, I got first-class service, which is pretty remarkable. My message is simple: let’s embrace and appreciate each other’s contributions, because it ultimately enriches our lives.

For a fast food joint, this passes the vibe. nostalgic with nice outdoor eating area. food is always FAST AND HOT. JFK planes fly over so nice place to park and let the kids watch them overhead. coming from a night out and need a quick 🍔 & 🍟? pull up, open up sunroof , enjoy the ✈️ and just have a moment. Bring a down to earth date. not the fanciest place but it passes the vibe check.

I've seen this place over the years and I never ordered from here until a week ago. The food is honestly pretty good and the prices is low. It's no wonder how they lasted since the 90's till this very day. This place is a drive in and they have 2 lanes where you can order your food instead of one which is a bit unusual but it speeds up traffic. The food is good, and you'll be in and out within 3-10 minutes depending on your order. Mine is normally $6 for a burger, large fries and a large drink.

Order 4 for $5 taste great. Fish and French fries are better that Macdonald.

Probably a little underrated in the fast food world, but it's very good. Not a big fan of the tenders, but their fries are awesome.

It's a convenient location near the shopping center and drive-thru is fairly quick, food is nice and HOT unless theyre REALLY busy (around midnight right before they close). the monsterella stix are devilishly good, beware the addiction! only issue is they gave me 1 marinara sauce for the larger 6 piece instead of 2. 1 marinara is for a 4 piece. I run out halfway through. it's still madly delicious. I think the hours have changed though, so be cautious of that, they may not be open after 1am weekdays or 2am weekends.

Food's great, but they give priority to the drive-through. If you're on foot while it's busy, be prepared to wait a bit before your order is taken.

As far as Checkers go it's a fine location. My experiences have been relatively positive and quick. If you're in the area and want something quick to eat I'd recommend this.

You guys should make sure that the oil is very hot when you fry your funnel cake fries because they are VERY greasy and soggy ! It’s absorbing the oil because it’s not hot enough ! Everything else is great :)

I don't eat fast food much but when I'm in the mood for some I will sometimes swing by this checkers. They make great fries and milkshakes! I know some people have complained about the service but I never really had an issue with anyone at this particular checkers. Sometimes the wait is a bit long but they seem to be busy whenever I do end up going so it's understandable

First time I ate at Checkers,I was finished for the day while I was at Belmont Park and this Checkers was nearby.. $5 for four items.Good deal if the food was good,and it was.Very tasty burger delicious in fact,fries were so crunchy and tasty as well.. It came with a hot apple pie which topped off a wonderful treat of a lunch. Staff there all were very gracious and wonderful.. I know I'll be back there again real soon..

Great staff. Always nice🤗 Classic wings are awesome. My fave is the Garlic Honey. Can't beat the price on sandwiches/burgers. Take advantage of the 2 for menu 🤤😀

Quick and easy ordering, they deliver the food fairly quick both through drive through and inside. Not the cleanest place but not the worse I've seen as well. Would recommend if you're into good ol' quick greasy food

I placed an online order and got there 11 min after my pick up time and my food wasn't even ready. Then to make it worse my 7yo son's burger was still pink in the middle when I got home. He enjoyed the fries and sweet tea but the burger was a complete turn off.

They're usually okay, this particular day I had to go inside to order and was never served after standing there waiting 15-20 minutes. We even tried to ask if they didn't serve from the window and there was no reply, just looked at us, we saw other people sitting outside eating but they wouldn't serve me and my mother smh...

It's hit or miss, I used to go more often when it first opened but now, it fell off tremendously. The quality of the food seems much cheaper, like someone are a good burger and puked it back up. Sometimes the value menu items are better than the regular menu. The staff seems to be bothered by customers for the most part, there are only a few that are very nice. When there are promotional items, then I'd give them 5 stars.

The night is a liar, pretending that he gave me back my $30 however, He did not He was like very persistent that he gave back the change with the receipt with the change. If you happen to purchase food there,Make sure to check you change before living the place . Location at Elmont.

I don't know what it is with this place but every time I go the staff are like zombies. They never smile, you say hi, thank you etc no response. Very awkward. Not asking for that fake happy happy joy bs but at least respond! Oh and only do drive thru they have 2 windows in a walk in area but they're always closed and they won't take your order from there as I found out after standing there for 20 minutes with no line!

The people working the drive thru are ridiculous twice on two different occasion I had to park my car get out go in the store to redeem items they forgot to put in my order smh I like the food but the nonchalant attitudes is enough to make me spend my money elsewhere.

Talked to a machine at the drive thru . my order was not understood and when i tried to fix my order at the window the person was rude and incooperative and as a result i overpaid for my order

I was at the drive thru on friday night and was very disappointed on how I was treated the guy was not very nice he made my milkshake very watery I had to throw it away and he shut the window in my face it was disgusting won't be getting anything at checkers anymore

This place is horrible, I placed my order it was been made so they asked me to move forward and wait in the parking spot, it took them almost 20 minutes so the cook comes out and give it to another car that had move in front of me without asking or checking their receive, when he realized it he chase the other car and took back the food from the other client and was ready to give it to me I said no way , then he offered to make it again but for some reason those were not his intentions so I asked for my money back.

Here on Google it says this checkers closes at 4 am on Friday and Saturday night. I arrived there at 2:30am, was ignored and then told they close at 3, and the last half hour is for Uber eats only. If that's the case then these things should be reflected in the hours of operation everywhere.

Poor hospitality service. Poor communication between cashier and manager. Refused to take ice out my drink. I got food with no receipt. They refused to give my receipt because there wasn't any paper in printer.

Start going here last year when I first move here, food was ok at first bc I always ordered just the spicy chicken sandwich, but couple months ago I started ordering something else then I get sick but I didn't think it was the food then a couple week later I ordered from there again and I got sick again too I haven't been back there for the food ever again...

I was in shocked when all my food was burned last night.The nw Cheddar shrimp and fries were overcooked and slighly burned.The fish sandwich was slightly burned.The lemondade was water fown.The only thing was good was the mozzarella sticks.Shocked because I have been eating there for years.Not sure if its new management but the food was horrible.

Terrible service from the manager. Received 3/4 ice and 1/4 coke. Told this to the employee who responded "we don't do refills" Yep I noticed but there was not even coke on my glass. When asked to the manager about it she told me that I should asked for that next time?? Told her it was a terrible service she was giving and she lift her shoulders making me notice that she didn't care??? What kind of service. Nerver go to eat in this place. We stopped at this location while in town for a show. all i can say my first and last checkers visit. only canadians put mayo on burgers. to bad they don’t have a bathroom because every thing that went in came right back out. Does not provide the receipt with the order. That is no way you can see what you paid for and what you’re being charged lots of charging errors. The local management or the central management does not care about the customer.

I love checkers but this location is the worst! I live right down the street from this one but if I want checkers from now on I will go to another town. Last night I ordered the chicken tenders combo. The tenders were cold, the fries were hard and tasted like they had been refried & my soda was seltzer. Totally sucked. Not the only time Ive had bad food from this location. Some of the workers also need training in customer service because they have bad attitudes.

Unfortunately I can't speak on the quality of the food because I was never attended to. I was going to use the drive thru but since I had never been to a checkers I had questions and the drive thru was using AI. I went inside, I was the only customer inside, staff occasionally looked my way but never acknowledged me. After 5 minutes, almost 10, I gave the glass a light tap and a gentleman told me that he would help me. 3 minutes after that I decided to leave. I totally understand if a business is busy as I assumed but I feel that the staff should have atleast touched base with me the several times they looked at me and looked away. Haha.. but seriously this wasn't a great experience especially being my only experience with this fast food restaurant. I will definitely come back another time to atleast give the food a chance.

On June 19 at around 6:30 PM, I ordered from this Checkers location via Uber Eats. When I opened the sealed delivery bag, a live cockroach fell out. Not crawling around my house inside the delivery bag. I took photos and video. I filed a health department complaint. The next day, I received a call from someone claiming to be a regional manager. Instead of taking accountability or even apologizing, he tried to blame Uber Eats, claimed he’s “never seen a roach in 10 years,” implied I might be lying to get free food, and then said something truly unbelievable: “There are no roaches on Long Island.” That’s what passes for customer service here. Gaslighting, denial, and deflectionwhile someone out there is still being served food from a location with obvious sanitation issues. I don’t care what he’s never seen I saw it yesterday and have the evidence. Checkers corporate has been notified. So has the Department of Health. I highly recommend you don’t take the risk

Asked for an 2 ALL AMERICAN CHEESEBURGER with NO cheese. Received a burger with NO CHEESE NO PICKLES AND NO MUSTARD???? Thats not Checkers problem but the worker COME ON!!!! Its not a difficult burger to create.
